Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shizukesa made his way towards the Clan house as per the instructions of the Main Branch Sennin, all week letters had been sent out to every Academy Student currently serving Main Branch, as he made his way inside the Clan House, he brought himself to the gathering point that had been assigned to this gathering, standing there he allowed himself a few moments to glance around, pondering on what would be required of them during this meeting, though if the conversation he had in the office a few days ago was anything to go by he understood this would be a pretty clear cut case.

"Sir, security has been tight, and we have ensured only those within the letter list will be in attendance, nothing else to report, and both patrols inside of the village, and the gatehouse report quite as well for the evening."

"Good then, let's count it as being a good night then, tell you what, once this meeting is over, those assigned here can finish for the night, not often do you get an early one to enjoy the evening."

"Thank you muchly"

The guard almost skipped with joy away from his at the instructions of an early finish, it made Nara grin but he knew as long as this meeting went without any issue, he would go back to watching the events, just another face in the crowd of the gathering Shinobi, as he would study each one that came in, he needed to catch up fast and with a memory like his, he made a graphic image of each face that passed him in order to keep it accounted for and make sure that he could at least put a face to the file he had, he had been studying the documents a few days and recognized a few of them as they walked through.

This letter… it was from a new name. Shizukesa. At first, Take thought it was from Mitsuha – after their meeting atop the Hokage Rock, he’d grown a little closer to both her and a couple other of his, technically, kōhai… even though Mitsuha was a Chūnin now, a rank above himself.

But it was written under the request of the Main Branch Sennin – his Sennin, a man around his own age whom Take had known ever since he became a Genin. A brilliant genius, in his eyes… one who’d achieved the title of Sennin at such a young age, whose name would never be forgotten by the lowly samurai. Keniwa. There was no reason to miss out on this meeting, and Take knew where the Kyoujouran clan house was – after all, he’d seen Ayeka from time to time, too.

DAZr9sd.jpg

In his purple haori with shinobi gear underneath, Take had entered the house, glancing towards a tall shinobi with white hair and sharp eyes that almost cut through his face and gazed at what was behind the younger swordsman. Take’s own face was uncommon, too – long, wavy hair tied in a long ponytail with bristling bangs stretching out here and there, with almost reddish edges to each spike. A wild mane of his, but also wavy and easy to glide your hand across…

But the most notable part of Take’s face was the flame-patterned, dark-red ‘mark’ etched across his forehead and cheek. Focusing on that mark made one aware of a pulsating, sickening aura that… apparently had no effect on Take’s composure. The boy looked completely normal, otherwise – timid, a bit, but he held no ill intentions nor any bad attitudes. Just a worn look on his face, as if he was let down by himself.

That was the letter he had received and looked at it once more... he was chewing at a stick from the guardhouse as he was having that duty right now. Wondering what he would and could do... He sighed and would ask for a replacement to fill his slot as he had to go to the meeting. As he was in his shinobi gear, he would enter the place and look a little around. It seemed that there weren't many people yet. He would say hello to those that were, introduce himself to tho who weren't familiar with him.

"You forgot the laundry again Teke..." he muttered as he stood beside his housemate as he would cross his arms. "I brought it inside this time... but please don't forget" He would remark and wait till others got more inside.

Mitsuha had received a letter from her butler, and as she read the contents of the letter, she was slowly gaining information. Since the events that had freshly took to her mind back at the gates, her former sensei had both killed another leaf shinobi before taking his own life. She had shown up at the aftermath, but... She pushed the thought away. That was the second time that she had witnessed tragedy at the gates. The first was when a masked and armored shinobi had attacked leaf gates directly and killed an anbu agent. She arrived and helped out when she was younger, weaker than before, but nearly died because of it. She wouldn't waste time as she would do short bursts of teleportation until she finally got to be in front of the Kyoujouran estate. Seems smaller than she expected.

She wore a biker leather jacket with a white shirt and black jeans. Not much of shinobi gear, but she is one to always travel light in case of a sudden ambush. In any case, her weapons could be easily carried with no hassle. Upon entering the estate, she would see an older man with white hair staring at her. It wasn't the creepy type of stare, but rather studying type. One that is trying to study for a weakness or make a plan type of look. She would know, she does it all the time, in fact, she might just be doing it right now, trying to gauge who this was that suddenly popped up into existence. For Shizukesa, he would see that Mitsuha's eyes seemed ancient, but also a little bit out of place, as if she didn't have those eyes to begin with. It isn't that of the Sharingan nor the Byakugan, but rather something older than either.

She would then meet up with the other two that were there already. Otakemaru, she recognizes immediately. They did have a sit down and talk about some other events that have happened before the Gate incident, of other things that have happened. The letter, was almost no surprise to her, in the least of who the new Main Branch Sennin was. Kyoujouran Keniwa. Keniwa. She has mixed feelings about him. After she learned of Aria's death and that Aria is now with Ayeka, Mitsuha had promised the girl to let Keniwa know that she thought of him as her rival.

They had a talk. Mitsuha had slapped him, telling him to live his life and to not wallow about in it like some cry baby, then learned that he was now the Main branch Sennin. Along with that, an important mission that may have to be done in the future. She pushed it out of her mind, she'd rather not think of anymore possible death in the near future, especially since Ishi's lies fresh in her mind. She would look over at... She was drawing a blank on the other person, the one talking to Otakemaru. He seemed familiar to her, and she faintly remembers the face, but... Nothing.

Ayeka sighed in distress as she reread the letter, Wishing that the contents of the letter had changed since the last reading while she sat on her bed. "Why at our compound Onii-chan? What happens if they find out about my room!' Glancing around said her Ayeka was embarrassed to say the place was a mess with plush of all sort littering the floor while the walls featured pictures of her family at different events that she had been too as her mother insisted they make up for lost time and go out often with her. Shaking her head of the paranoid thoughts Ayeka got up and grabbed her jacket before leaving her room behind as she easily navigated the compound she lived in and headed for the specified meeting point. Stepping into the house Ayeka recognised many faces there as she gave a small wave in greeting while pulling her hood down in respect of the senior ninja she did not recognise, A bush filled the girls face as she exposed her features to others which was extremely rare for the shy girl. Finding a comfortable place to stand Ayeka waited for the meeting to begin.

Yawning, Jinzo looked over the letter once more as he brewed himself a strong pot of tea. Being someone who didn't often get asked to join meetings, he found the thing oddly comforting, that of knowing that he did exist in someone's world. That and him considering Keni, or should he say, Keniwa, a friend, also helped with the call to action. Though he would have wanted to have a hearty breakfast, he instead settled for toast, jam and tea as he knew that he had to be prompt enough to not draw the ire of the Sennin. Was he wanting to stay within the Main Branch? Jinzo wasn't sure, but he also didn't exactly have any particular leanings towards the Medic or ANBU branches either. Coincidentally, it was the ANBU that he had dealt with the least, if at all. Come to think of it, he wasn't actually aware of any of his short list of friends who were in the ANBU, which was most likely by design or a complete oversight. Depending upon how this meeting turned out then he might just go seek them out. For the current moment however, he showed up to the meeting in his normal basic Konoha issued shinobi garb. Despite being an artist, there were times when he didn't mind blending in.

Keniwa would be waiting promptly as the designated meeting area for shinobi to slowly turn up one by one, with Shizukesa greeting them and allowing them in to the premise everything seemed to be going accordingly. Despite his short time as a Sennin his progress within the Kyoujouran clan was already going well, with several of the most high ranking members being lined out on each side of the hall as guards in case anyone dared to infiltrate or cause a ruckus. Despite their old fashioned ways, one thing that stayed true was their respect for power, and with that came duty, it was a great honour for many of them to stand guard knowing one of their own was a Sennin. In actuality Keniwa did not care as much as they did, whilst he was somewhat proud of himself, really he just appreciated the perks such as this that came alongside it.

Many friends and family would be in the area and he definitely would notice a few familiar faces, he would keep the doors open if any late shinobi or academy students still wished to attend as he would usher Shizukesa over before beginning to start the speech. There he stood tall on the stage in front of so many people, usually he legs would be wobbling left and right in fear, however as of late, something inside of him realised he just did not have the time for stage fright. "Good afternoon shinobi of Konoha, thank you for all making your way to attend this meeting. It should not take up too much of your time and you'll be able to get back to regular duties soon enough. Before I begin, I would like to introduce you all to our new Head Jounin of the Konoha security sub branch, Nara shizukesa, for all you of you that will be members be in the Konoha security sub branch work force please report directly to him." Giving the Head Jounin a moment to take the microphone and introduce himself as well to the ninja after he had finished Keniwa would begin to get on to why they had all been brought here today.

"As you all likely know main branch has lacked proper leadership for a long while before I took the mantle of Sennin and even now things still need to be ordered, this brings me to the topic of sub branches in main branch. I like most of you before I became a Sennin was only in the Konoha security branch, being the biggest by large and quite overinflated if anything. This is where today comes in." Giving a signal a series of workers would begin to head to the end of each row handing them a sheet of papers, ushering each to take one and pass another down. Upon each of these papers would be a slot where one could write their name, rank and the sub branch that they wanted to be in. "Hokage guard will likely remain the smallest of all branches, however both Journeyman and Hokage guard are in need of all members, and on behalf of the ones before me I apologise you have not been able to choose exactly which branch you desire. Journeyman are the ones who help the most with teaching and helping the younger generations, helping mould them in to fine ninja such as yourselves, although most Journeyman are exceptional shinobi when it comes to leadership especially with missions, so it is a big role to fill. When it comes down to Hokage guards, you must climb the ranks all the way to Jounin to be considered fully fledged, similar to anbu and mednin who are in training. Hokage guards must go through an extensive amount of training, which some of you may even find to much to bare. It is an incredibly important job and only the hardest working shinobi will be allowed to enter this sub branch. So with that I ask you all to fill out the papers which you have before you." Keniwa would pause for a moment thinking of the next thing in which he wished to speak of, and it certainly was going to have something to do with nerves and the new way how he wished to run the branch, what he thought would be the best course for the ninja in front of him.

"I must say that I despise death, seeing it as a last resort in many situations, we should not be afraid to kill. However we all should know the consequences that come with snuffing a life, especially when it comes down to children. They are young, easily impressionable, and can be nurtured, I ask you all to think of this when face to face with a delinquent or a young missing shinobi when you have the option between knocking them out and ending their life. I wish that Konoha would be as safe as possible, however I also wish for us to be respected, not feared. With our blossoming relationship with Kumogakure, we need to show our level headedness and our strength, they are powerful allies and so I ask that you treat cloud shinobi and citizens the way you would like to be treated. I know each of you have the will of fire burning bright inside you, all in your own unique and amazing ways, I only wish to see each and everyone of you shine bright in the future. Thank you for attending today, please hand your sheet to a staff member before you leave." As shinobi would begin to clap, he would make his way off the stage moments after smiling at those in front of him, as he walked taking a deep breath followed by a sigh of relief that, that was over with.

Mitsuha would listen as Keniwa would appear and give his speech on why they were all here. So it is the divvy them out into sub branches eh? Mitsuha thought about it as a sheet of paper was handed over to her. She would take one and pass the rest to the next person over and mull over the possibilities. Security branch. It would be the branch that will see the most action in case of an attack on Leaf. Her mind flashed back to Ishi's cold dead body on the ground. And even further back, that masked and armored shinobi that had nearly killed her. She would shake away the thought and focus on the other two.

Journeyman, the sub branch to go out on missions all the while teaching younger more inexperienced ninja with on the job training. It comes with teaching the academy students as well. Her mind flitted around, thinking what else someone from the Journeyman branch would do. If memory serves right, their missions also deal with going out of country sometimes. She would come back to journeyman as her eyes darted over to Hokage guard.

Hokage guard. It is the elite of the elite of the main branch ninja sworn to protect the Hokage from any and all threats. And while it does put her in the line of fire of dangers, she could potentially learn from the Hokage and even become the next Hokage with being a well known member. She did however, reminded herself that she enrolled in the Cypress Society event, to basically be part of an elite team that answers directly to the Hokage. She's making a big gamble, but maybe it'll pay off.

She would look back at the Journeyman and circle it. She knows that the Hokage guard, whilst it could get her to Jounin rank faster, she feels like being part of two different elite groups could be uncalled for. That and maybe she just might give the other people a chance at competing against her. She does, in fact, want to be the next Hokage one day. Giving her paper to one of the staff members, she would stand idly by, waiting, seeing if anyone else would interact with her.

It would be fair to say that the young adult was not paying any attention to what was being said or at least very little. He waited till it was all over, there had been a question as to what he wanted... But to tell the truth, he had no ambitions or anything. How was he supposed to teach, when he never had been taught in the past? What would he get out of it. An elite team that protected the Hokage? He had little to do with them for his idea, as he never met one. In his mind, he was starting to shrug and look slight to what others were doing.

He would just walk out... He left the place as he had a. no ambition b. No role model to look up to.

Ayeka closed her eyes and thought deeply on what her brother had to say about the new branch enlistments and her first instinct was to go for the Journeyman branch as it was a very attractive proposition to teach new ninja and form bonds with the younger generation but as she went forward to take a form to apply for the branch she wanted she stopped and thought for a moment. While she wasn't too fond of the current Hokage due to her memories contributed by Aria Ayeka realised that if she wanted to become the Hokage one day like she had proclaimed to her brother she would need to temper herself in a crucible of dangerous battles so she could protect the village. Watching and learning on how to govern a village would also be immensely helpful to her development and she could form close bonds with the elite ninja of the village. So with that in mind Ayeka quickly filled out an application with the Hokage's guard and despotised the form before heading back home.

Take was glad to see many of which he recognized. Friends, close friends, and saviors. All gathered here to learn about these new… sub-branches? It was a first for Take, but-

“… S-Sorry, I was- I was in a hurry, I- I can take it when I… when I get back home…”

He wished he could hide his face under a hood like Ayeka… speaking of, his eyes immediately drew her way, quickly and forcefully averted away from meeting her gaze, as if he was embarrassed to be spotted by her for one reason or another. Despite his experience, Take still had plenty of youth remaining inside of him…

But this… this was what Aria wished. For him to live to the fullest. He’d fulfill her wish and live. An unbreakable vow.

The sub-branches were presented as following: the Security Guard, the village’s first line of defense and the most packed of branches per Keniwa’s words. The Hokage Guard, stated to be the most elite of the branches, and the most demanding – they provided the Hokage with a supreme unit of operations, the first to defend the leader and the most promising candidates… or so, it felt like.

The Journeyman… teaching and aiding the younger generation… that sounded a little bit fun, really. It was a broad role, though, but Take could see himself as a Journeyman. Maybe even have a team of his own, a Genin team… and guide them… it sounded like a lot of work, but pleasant work at that.

Take clapped at the end, too, after Keni’s speech was over. He had already drawn a circle around ‘Journeyman’, intent on making himself more useful to the new Sennin. He’d, of course, catch up to Ayeka as she walked out, wanting to hear from her after the last time they met at the Hokage Rock. They’d… grown closer, since then.

Security, Journeyman, Hokage Guard... while all three had no doubt respectfully earned their positions, Jinzo was not one that was easily impressed with any of them. In fact, he was apparently somewhat of the same opinion as one or two individuals as some began to leave without turning in any paper. Did Jinzo want to kill, no, and even more so when it came to children, he himself would probably not be too much older than any such children that he could be tasked with taking on. What would he do then? As he continued to rummage through his emotions on the matter, he watched more and more people trickle out of the meeting. There he stood, with no paper in hand or a decision to be made. Crossing his arms, Jinzo continued to try and think of a decision to make as he shook his head to no one in particular. Lost in his own thoughts, he didn't realize that there were precious few people still around. Finally speaking out loud, he more so declared his answer to himself than anyone in particular. "None of these are a good fit..." Keniwa was a good person, truly a person wanting to do their best to help out Konoha, but unfortunately for him, nothing about the options presented aligned with what pulled on Jinzo's heart. That left Jinzo with quite the decision to make. Would he stick with his friends vision or find his own way.

Keniwa would see people begin to hand in their papers and trickle out slowly but surely out of the hall, everything had seemed to go pretty according to plan and hopefully this would get things more in order for main branch as a whole. The organisation however was the easiest part, putting this in to practical... well... would likely be a much greater challenge, however one thing he knew for sure was that he had several dependent and valiant shinobi who would certainly do him proud in more ways than one. As pretty much everyone but the staff, himself and Shizukesa had left there were a couple stragglers who had stuck around, two of his friends and companions. Mitsuha and Jinzo. Keniwa smiled at the two as he calmly made his way towards the each of them waving gently as he did with one arm.

Really if you asked him, it had been a long while since he had actually gotten the chance to talk to Jinzo, he did wonder what tech genius had been up to in his time, he likely wouldn't be super proud to see Keniwa's gauntlets still clamped on to his hands. Both Mitsuha and Jinzo had something in common, in that they would speak their mind when they did not like a situation. Despite the occasions in which he came to this conclusion, it was actually a highly valuable trait to have as a soldier when the right time would come. "Hello you two, I hope you found this meeting helpful, I am curious in which what branches you have decided on. However if there is anything you would like to speak to me about regarding well... anything! Feel free to." His tone was hopeful, after seeing everyone today it would be a lie to say it didn't light a spark inside of him.

Most people were keeping to themselves as they would fill out their papers, or lack thereof and leave. All but her and Jinzo. Her eyes would study Keniwa as he would approach them and ask them which sub branch they want to go to and if they want to speak about anything.

Well, she wants to climb the ranks, but other than that, from a strategic view point... "I am choosing to be a Journeyman. To be a teacher for the newer generation and to do missions both in and out of country. I see it as it makes me the most flexible to be of use around the Village. As for things I'd like to speak of... I won't lie about it that I am interested in climbing the ranks to eventually make it to Hokage one day. But also taking a step back for a second from an outside point of view. While people are moving out of the security sub branch, it is still advantageous over the other two sub branches as it has a head jounin to oversee things and make revisions of their own to better the branch. People moving into both the Journeyman and Hokage guard will obviously have questions and comments that will need valid answers. Sure you, the Main branch Sennin could be the one to help them all through, but you yourself are just one person."

She would pause for a moment then speak once more, "It would be beneficial for everyone to expedite on whom will be the head jounin for the other two branches. That way, those head jounin can properly guide those in that sub branch and filter out the qustions and comments to the best of their capabilities and come to you with any concerns. Therefor you will have less of a load to deal with but also have the run down of how each head jounin is running their sub branch."

"Hello you two, I hope you found this meeting helpful, I am curious in which what branches you have decided on. However if there is anything you would like to speak to me about regarding well... anything! Feel free to." Jinzo greatly appreciated that Keniwa... Keni, took the time to come and speak to those that had lingered after the meat of the meeting. Certainly it didn't help him to decide any quicker about what he wanted to do but it did let him know that the young man professing to be the Sennin was still concerned about the lowest person on the totem pole. "It would be beneficial for everyone to expedite on whom will be the head jounin for the other two branches. That way, those head jounin can properly guide those in that sub branch and filter out the qustions and comments to the best of their capabilities and come to you with any concerns. Therefor you will have less of a load to deal with but also have the run down of how each head jounin is running their sub branch." Hearing the young speak about the need for quickly getting the other positions filled, while Jinzo couldn't be certain about her motives, he definitely would now peg her as the eager type even if she did make a valid point. To that end, he'd shrug his shoulders once more before replying. "Honestly...I'm an overqualified Genin who would rather make a fancy feast or a general work of art than to dive headlong into a den of thieves. I do my job and I do it well but my passion for the arts just doesn't seem to have a place in this system and I want to equally support and protect my friends while also making sure that they're well fed and warm at the end of the day." Not intending to share as much as he did, Jinzo's face turned into one of embarrassment with a tinge of guilt and pride mixed in.

Staying quiet after the speech had been given, he allowed himself to watch and see who moved out, who picked a position, and who clearly was unsure of what they wanted to do. With the speech being given, it seemed that those that remained would be addressed by Keniwa himself, this left the Head Jounin to sit and watch the conversation instead, studying what was being said and discussed between each of them. As he listened about the eagerness to have more Head Jounin and spread them around it caused a small smile to escape his lips, it seemed that eagerness was the female angle, and what about Jinzo though he turned his attention to the words of the boy.

"You know, while filling the spots is an important decision, haste is not the best way to go, rushing in can overcommit someone not suited to leadership, and at the same time, filling them for the sake of filling them will just mean that the sub-branch is suddenly finding themselves with a leader who cannot lead. The right people will fill the positions, I am sure our Sennin had his eyes on candidates, and in time with his hand and mentorship the positions will be filled."

He allowed his eyes to fall down on Jinzo, the boy at least knew his own potential, as the beast inside of the Nara reared itself as he looked towards Jinzo, it seemed odd that he would pay the boy attention, but from the outside his expression showed that beaming smile that he always had on, and his words trying to show a friendly and joyful emotion radiating from him.

"That is a truth to hear, you seem strong, and potential at least is there, and shows through your actions, standing up and bringing your ideas to the front without hesitation or wonder for the ramifications."

He would stand behind the two of them before his attention would turn back to his Sennin, it was time to see how his mind worked given the information that he had just been handed by all three people at once.

There was a lot being thrown on to the table and he could not be any happier to hear, it was clear that there would eventually need to come a time for promotions to be handed around, and for changes to be made within the main branch. Nodding his head as he listened intently to everyone he would either agree or reason with everything that had been said, starting off first with what shizukesa said as he looked around the group. "Shizukesa makes a good point, actions are the most important when it comes to showing where responsibility should be given, I think even just the action of today from both you two, standing up and proclaiming what you wish for. It is admirable to say the least."

Clasping his hands together a small clap sound would protrude from his palms, as he smiled at the three "So what we need, is to see some more actions do you not think? Jinzo, if you really believe you are an overqualified genin. Then let's test that theory, you want to keep your friends well fed and warm? If you mean cooking then.. that is a severely underutilised position in all branches, I know how much I crave a good warm meal on a mission, and I feel as if morale would soar if more people had the opportunity to have a delicious bite during the times when the air is cold and tensions are high. I'd like to give you an exam Jinzo, formally you would be positioning for a journeyman role, however this essentially means you would be taking part in several missions as first a shinobi, second a cook, and whilst you had free time, teaching at the academy the importance of the art of serving a good meal, and how it'd help. As well as different recipes and such at your discretion. For a position of Jounin. Mitsuha as well, you say wise words, we will need new head jounins soon enough, so I'd like for there to be good candidates for when the time comes, you've been working hard at the academy teaching students since that day on Hokage rock. I've kept up with your records and sufficed to say whilst your lessons seem far harder than the ordinary ones... the results are outstanding, for that I'd like for you to take a seperate exam as well." He had no clue what they would say however this was his offer to each of them who chose to stand their ground in one way or another, he'd never deny someone the chance to prove their worth, however the results were up to them.

"That is a truth to hear, you seem strong, and potential at least is there, and shows through your actions, standing up and bringing your ideas to the front without hesitation or wonder for the ramifications." Beaming with pride, Jinzo turned around and gave a wide grin and nodded in appreciation. "Thank you, I appreciate hearing that." Without missing a beat, Keni spoke up after Shizukesa. "Jinzo, if you really believe you are an overqualified genin. Then let's test that theory, you want to keep your friends well fed and warm? If you mean cooking then.. that is a severely underutilized position in all branches, I know how much I crave a good warm meal on a mission, and I feel as if morale would soar if more people had the opportunity to have a delicious bite during the times when the air is cold and tensions are high. Jinzo's eyes lit up and he continued to nod in agreement. So many people missed the great importance of a good meal before, during and after a mission. Coincidentally it was Jinzo's opinion that many a shinobi was actually malnourished and using chakra reserves in place of a well balanced diet. Continuing on though, Keni dropped another bombshell. "I'd like to give you an exam Jinzo, formally you would be positioning for a journeyman role, however this essentially means you would be taking part in several missions as first a shinobi, second a cook, and whilst you had free time, teaching at the academy the importance of the art of serving a good meal, and how it'd help. As well as different recipes and such at your discretion. For a position of Jounin." Though Keni spoke some more, Jinzo's mind began to drift as he barely heard the rest. Jounin? Sure he expected that he should make an attempt to take a Chuunin exam but Jounin, that was something else entirely. Keni had extended the offer and Jinzo didn't want to leave him hanging so he nodded once again and stepped forward. "I guess that I can't stay a kid with a dream forever, huh? Sign me up!" Grinning once more with a wide smile, he gave Keni a big thumbs up.

Mitsuha was in fact interested in what Jinzo had to say on the matter. Whilst she is a battle technician, she never thought much about food, as she usually has the rich delicacies that comes from being part of a rich family. She knew of what Shizukesa spoke of. While she has had a lot of experience, she hasn't have a lot of leader type qualities. She's mainly been doing a lot of the grunt work, per say, doing a mission here, battling there. And some teaching sprinkled about.

She blinked in surprise on what Keniwa had said to her. Even though this is what she wanted, she expected there would be a 'but'. However, here he was praising her for her teaching skills, howver hard they may be. There were only two that struck out to her. One with Sota, which... She needs to control herself around that kid for his own sake. Only other person that have felt her wrath was Keniwa when they were younger, something that she needs to learn to control. As for the other one, Utsumi. She gave her a practical lesson about poisons, teaching her about the lethality of them and how to best utilize them in battle. She would bow to both Keniwa and Shizukesa, saying, "I accept." Turning to Jinzo, "Good luck in your own exams."
