Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kaza followed the directions of his and Satou's guide, taking a seat in one of the chairs in the conference room. The wolf fur cloak was wrapped around him as he sat there, those forest eyes slid to his lover. "Do you think we'll be waiting long?" he would ask the being who had stolen his heart. The receptionist had seemed surprised when the young man had told her he was here on diplomatic business. He had also informed her that there was urgency in what he had to discuss, she had seemed even more surprised when he asked for Kogami Ayumu.

They were to wait here until the Sennin was able to come see them, the way the young man held himself made it obvious he was a man of importance. Even though he was young there was a sense of authority and wisdom that ebbed from him. "I am quite intrigued to meet Ayumu I heard he and my Lord struck down a rogue ninja..." he would say calmly trying to pass the time, eager to see if Satou would be capable of travelling with him.

Held in his right hand was a letter addressed to the Sennin by his Lord, the Miroku Clan sigil was on the wax seal. This was the last task he had to complete before he could return to his clan, though whether he could leave or not would depend on if Satou could account him. For he would not go anywhere his lover could not, he'd spent most of his life trying to fx the peace and joy Satou invoked him. Kaza would not lose that now he had found it.

Satou felt agitated when going back into town. Kaza would watch him, see the strain in him as he avoided eye contact with humans and even tried averting close contact. If it wasn't to be a casual pace of walking the streets, Satou would have carried Kaza in his arms along the rooftops. The smells and sounds penetrated him mentally and almost on a physical sense. He looked almost agitated as he sat down with his new found lover. Laying back in his chair as he looked somewhat exhausted, he did not sleep last night. His hands, shakingly reached for his smoked in his upper pocket under his jacket. Pulling out a thin home made stick of tobacco. A snap of his fingers a flame lit the end, inhale, exhaled away from Kaza to be polite. He didn't care if the room was for non-smoking. "I assume not long at all." He mumbled a reply as he laid head against Kaza's shoulder.

He breathed softly, listening to the heart beat of his beloved, and that of several humans. The pumping, pulsating, hearts beating almost like a musical band playing the tune of the monster inside of him. "Yes, he is a rather powerful individual. I'll say for certain I wouldn't cross him if I had the choice to." He wondered if Ayumu was listening in on their conversation, less the man was busy with his Wife and child. Then again, both Ayumu and Kahako were incredibly busy. Satou himself had not seen Kahako for periods of time that even spanned months. He wondered if Ayumu was the same.

He kept his head rested upon Kaza's shoulder, eyes closed to focus on the soft pitter patter of the mortals heart. Blocking out most sound, waiting for Ayumu to show up so Kaza can finish his job and for himself ask some time of leave.

Ayumu was for once not having the busiest of days. There was the usual paperwork, of course, but it seemed almost like he might catch up at last. Perhaps he would even have some free time even before he went home for the day. But the job had a way of luring him into a false sense of security like that. The call had come in over his intercom that two men had come to the tower seeking to meet with him. Whether they were seeking the Sennin or the Raikage was unclear to him, as for the moment he was handling housecalls for either title while Saito was away. He supposed he would find out. Interestingly, one of the men was Satou, the man who Kahako saw as family despite the constant threat he posed. It was something that Ayumu had been forced to get used to. Kahako was stubborn, and Ayumu's concerns were noted but not enough for her to abandon family. Ayumu himself felt bad for Satou, who had lived a long difficult life from the sound of it, the demon inside him only hurting him more. Ayumu found himself curious who was accompanying the man today. As he entered the room, he was in for a bit of a surprise.

There sat Satou, his head resting gently upon the shoulder of the other guest as they waited for Ayumu. Ayumu raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised by this sight. Had Satou found himself a romantic interest? Very interesting. Someone who was willing to put up with the inherent risk he presented. Satou was smoking, and it was a smoke-free room but Ayumu didn't actually care enough to tell him to stop, though the smell was always unpleasant to him. Upon entering, he started towards the windows in the room as he addressed the two of them.

"Satou! I don't believe you've ever visited me in the tower... what brings you here today? And who have you brought with you?" Ayumu commented and asked while nodding to the new guest with a smile, fishing for an introduction. He hoped to find out more than a name, perhaps their relation. That much was not necessarily important, Ayumu was just intrigued and being nosy. As he reached the windows, he opened two of them to let in some fresh air and vent some of the smoke. Perhaps he could avoid getting one of those passive aggressive memos about letting guests smoke in the tower.

Kaza smiled warmly at his lover as he rested upon his shoulder "It was the impression Akkuma got as well..." he would say planting a gentle kiss upon Satou's forehead, Kaza couls tell that he seemed agitated. He couldn't work out why though, was it because he was about to ask to leave? Or was it because of what had happened in the forest with those creatures. Though he wasn't given time to think on the matter as he heard footsteps, turning his gaze to the newcomer. The man spoke to Satou as though he knew him personally, asking who his companion was.

The young Emissary blushed slightly he hadn't expected to meet someone who knew his lover personally, what if they disproved of him. Kaza smiled warmly at the shinobi "Hello it's pleasure to meet you Kogami Ayumu. I'm Miroku Kaza, I've been sent here by my Lord Akkuma to have a meeting of diplomatic importance with you & the Akira Saito. Though I was told by one of your shinobi I just missed him. You see Sunagakure needs your aid this isn't them requesting it, it's my Lord. The Wind Daimyo launched an attack against them and now we fear it will only be too soon before he decides to finish them off. My Lord represents the Miroku Clan in this matter, due to the Toraono Clan now being United with our family. Also Akkuma wanted to personally ask you for your aid in this, he fears of things continue it could escalate beyond a Wind Country. United the shinobi cannot fail, my lord has already made contact with the Tsuchikage by now I'm sure. Not to mention the backing of the largest house in Sunagakure." he would sigh giving the man a small smile "I apologise but I think we're about to make your day a lot busier." an apologetic look was upon his face, but then he gained that warmth to his expression once more.

Those forest green eyes slid to his lover "Most importantly I'd like you to consider releasing Satou from his ties to this village...or at least allowing him to be a dual citizen of sorts?" he would say trying to see how he could make this easier for the Sennin. "...I love him and I won't lose him." he would say to Ayumu everything about the Agent was obvious, this was a man who didn't want to lose his love. Kaza

The smell of a days work, some simple cologne a girlfriend or wife would pick for their significant other. That soft sound of a formal walk quickly moving to a window in the room, even his voice felt casual and lax. Raising his head slowly. Inhale, exhale slowly. "You must be tired Boss, sorry for calling you in at the end of your shift. You were probably going home." To be with Kahako and your son. He breathed softly through his nose, before he could get a words explanation. Kaza flew into a massive quick to the point opener. It almost took Satou back how forward Kaza was. It made him laugh a bit, it was a natural laugh. He couldn't stop smiling. He took the cigarette from his mouth and leaned in. Kissing Kaza on the forehead. A cocky grin on Satou's face, as he blew the smoke away in a corner. He turned his eyes over Ayumu once Kaza finished his speech.

He looked for a moment at the man before him, his superior, his Boss. Satou's eyes held a warmth in them, there were soft, serene almost. Getting up, Satou butted the cigarette in the palm of his hand, not even a sign of pain on him from doing this. As he walked slowly to stand by Ayumu in front of the window, tossed the cigarette out as it was torn to nothing but specs of white in the wind. The smell was fading. But it clung to him a bit, unlike another feeling. The feeling of a demon standing beside you, like you're staring at death dressed in fine clothing. But not now, Ayumu could not feel a thing emanating from the creature next to him.

Satou felt normal. He gave off no ill vibes or eerie feelings in his gut. He appeared as a man, his posture relaxed, his eyes thoughtful and full of natural color. He leaned a bit out the window to look at the skies. "Listen Ayumu, I know you're probably dealing with a lot on your shoulders. You're probably one of the few who wouldn't mind seeing me leave this village. I can be a nuisance, but I always put this village first. I put Kahako's well being before even my own. I won't leave this place forever, but I do need to go out and stretch my legs a bit. I feel anxious here, but with Kaza-" He turned his attention back to his companion. "I haven't felt this way in centuries." The words felt heavy in the room. His eyes had a stare, almost like looking back through time. He blinked smirked, and turned his attention back outside to watch the birds.

"So yeah, a Passport to get to Sunagakure. I have to escort an Emissary. Even if I have to ask this as a mission rather then something personal." He smirked at Ayumu. He hoped Ayumu was in a good mood. Otherwise things would end up being complicated. And he didn't want to separate himself from Kaza, he couldn't remember when the Demon in him was this complacent. It scared him deeply.

[OoC Note: I am assuming this thread to be set before the event in Suna because Saito is still in Stone, not in Suna and Ayumu is not yet in Suna either.]

Ayumu's question to Satou went unanswered from the man himself at first. Instead, the unfamiliar face was the first to respond. Regardless, Ayumu's question was answered. The family name was familiar, and the name of his lord moreso. Akkuma was a mysterious man who had an agreement with the former Raikage. Beyond that, Ayumu knew very little of him. He had helped Ayumu strike down an evil woman that was massacring Kumogakure civilians in the street, and that was not something that Ayumu would forget easily. If this man was sent by Akkuma, he would have Ayumu's attention. The first subject took Ayumu aback somewhat, a request of aid for Sunagakure, though the request was not from the village itself but rather the Miroku clan. Apparently Akkuma felt that it was dire enough that not only Suna was at risk, but all shinobi. He was making contact with the Tsuchikage as well. Ironically, the Raikage was currently in Iwagakure. Ayumu wondered if there was any chance that Akkuma might have found him there and made that portion of this meeting pointless. Some within Sand had also pledged their support to the cause. Taking all this news at once, Ayumu felt it might be best to take a seat, so he strolled past the two and slid into a chair opposite them.

Kaza was not yet finished with his requests, however. Ayumu cocked an eyebrow as he requested Ayumu to allow Satou to leave the village for good. The verification came for Ayumu at last as the man made his feelings for Satou clear. So this was indeed Satou's lover. While he was happy for Satou, it was slightly worrying for Kaza. Ayumu had known Satou to have certain issues of the demonic variety. And yet, as he sat there now, he did not have the same intensity that he so often did. There was not that foreboding aura that made you keenly aware the man was dangerous. Ayumu eyed Satou as he began to speak. He seemed so relaxed and peaceful, much different than Ayumu was used to seeing him. Satou was right, there were times when he had thought it would be best if Satou left. Yet, at the same time he knew that this would hurt Kahako greatly. It seemed that he might not be quite on the same page as Kaza as far as leaving permanently. However, it was clear that their relationship had brought him some manner of peace in his otherwise tortured existence. Satou's request was much more simple than his companion's: a passport to Sunagakure. Ayumu took a breath, letting both of their words sink in as he considered them.

"While Akira-sama is out, I'm handling the basic duties of the Raikage, but that does not mean I hold his full authority. Even if I wanted to, I cannot release Satou from his duty to this village. That request would need to be made to the man himself. I'm afraid I can't give you any indication of whether or not he would grant such a request. I can, however, grant your request, Satou. A passport I can do. To my knowledge you have not requested leave from the village in some time, so you should be fine to enjoy an extended... vacation," Ayumu said, hoping that this would appease both of them for now. It was a complicated thing to love a person from another country, especially when you both had obligations in your current countries. Ayumu rubbed his chin as he thought about it. Were he the Raikage, would he grant a request like that? To release Satou from his responsibility to the village? He dismissed the thought, it was not up to him. He wasn't the Raikage, after all.

"As for your other request, Kaza, once again I cannot formally grant you any promise for support. I am not the Raikage, though he will not be gone overly long. I will pass these concerns along to Akira-sama when he returns as it sounds like Akkuma truly believes the threat to be grave. I will mention that both the Raikage and I will be visiting Wind Country fairly soon. The shinobi of our village have been invited by the Daimyo you speak of to attend the wedding of his daughter to the Otokage. With your warnings, I have many misgivings of this invitation now, but we have already accepted. However, while we are there perhaps we will see some evidence of this threat. I will be sure to look for it now that I know," Ayumu continued, hoping that these assurances would suffice. It was unfortunate that Saito was not present, for this was the best Ayumu could really do in his absence. This warning could be of great value, however, with their impending visit to the country in question. They would need to be on guard, to be sure. Ayumu would keep his ear to the ground for any information about the Daimyo and be on the lookout for any traps laid.

"Once we've had some time to assess the situation there, perhaps we can speak more with your master," Ayumu concluded, hoping that would appease him for now.

OOC: Yeah it is sorry should have said so ^_^ good to Rp with you again

Kaza smiled warmly at his lover as he stood, when they had both finished speaking Ayumu had taken a seat. The man looked as if he weighed their words heavily and his response had been given even more thought. 'Akira was smart to leave him in charge...' he thought to himself listining carefully to the Sennins words. He blushed slightly of course only the Kage could make such a decision. But the shinobi was relieved when he heard Satou would be given a Passport. "I understand, thank you for this Ayumu I will not forget it." he would say with warmth looking to his lover.

The Emissary sighed when Ayumu said they could not promise them any formal support, so he had no choice but to assume the role of Agent. When the Sennin had spoken his last words he would undoubtedly notice a change in the man before him. "It has already begun then, I apologise before hand for this...but I'm under orders." he would say in an apologetic tone, before his eyes gained a fire to them and he stood. Kaza was both Emissary and Agent authorised to be Akkuma's Voice & Blade in Foreign affairs. When he spoke there was a wisdom and authority to the youth that was well beyond his years. "My Lord Akkuma would like me to remind you of the services he has rendered to your village as shows of good faith between our people. First he discovered the Existence of Titan, then he risked himself by meeting with them and gaining an understanding to what they were. Then he informed Akira Saito, along with turning one Shita Rirrakussu into a Revenant...no doubt by now Oshiro Saki has pledged has bound his clan to ours. Officially you cannot back us...but what about unofficially? Our backers consist of both the Main Branch & Anbu Sennin of Sunagakure, along with armed forces consisting of the undead, demons, cursed seals and various foreign shinobi United by this cause." he would smile a devilishly charming grin and gave a wide sweep of his arms as he said his next words.

A gesture intended to emphasise what he said next "If you aid my Lord the bonds between your village and Sunagakure will be cemented as allies. Iwagakure will undoubtedly follow suit my Lord has been very busy, please trust me when I say War has begun. At the very least we had to ensure you didn't go blind into anything..." he would say once more sighing and giving an apologetic bow. Ruffling his hair as he gave a nervous chuckle "Sorry but my Lord wished to emphasise the seriousness of this matter and the depth he had undergone to ensure you are prepared for what is to come." his gaze slid to his lover and all he wanted to do was hold the man. Soon they would be at war and it seemed too many would be ill prepared, in the back of his mind he already wished they had never departed from that timeless moment in the forest. Now they had come back to the world it meant he had to face its problems once more.

The sunlight felt warm when standing before the open window, watching the birds fly by. His chocolate colored eyes stared longingly out int the vast world. And with what his ears picked up in words, he would soon be out the village to take a walk far from this place. How long has he been here? How many years had it been since he stepped outside the gates and explored the world. It made him shiver a bit, was it fear or excitement. He couldn't tell. His mind wandered as the two conversed behind him. He wasn't really focusing on them, he went into his own mind for a moment. A different room was around him now.
"So, we get to go outside and play a bit?" The demon spoke, sitting in its lavished chair swathed in a house rob and long wooden pipe placed under his mass of tendrils for a lower face as it puffed now and then. Blowing the smoke at Satou who sat opposite of him. The smell of tobacco filled his lungs. The taste on his lip still of the cigarette.

Satou breathed softly, unresponsive to the conversation. His fingers tapped the pack of smokes in his pocket with a simple rhythm. Then paced absently over to the water cooler. Grabbing a cup and filling it with water.
"It's not a matter of getting to play outside the village, its to bring Kaza home. To get away from this place for awhile. I need him, and he needs to be home with his family. I can only go with him for now. But I'll have to come back. I have to." He looked at the cup while sitting in the chair. It was filled with blood.

"Of course you will. You have to fulfill the contract. You owe me her lif-" He was cut off as Satou flew from his chair swinging wildly with fists and kicks as the demon stood, chair thrashing away as its giant hands halted Satous.

"I owe you nothing! Not her life! Not Kaza's! Not anyone! I am not your puppet, Demon!" Satou was forcing his locked hands into the beasts as he was forcing the giant horror to the ground. His rage building. The Monster didn't stop laughing.

Cup after cup, he drank from the machine while two conversed, noise bled out to murmurs, muffled. He looked as if in a trance. Cup after cup. The water machine was almost empty when he stopped. He breathed a sigh as his shoulders dropped, throwing the cup in the nearby trash he went to sit back down. He looked across the room at Ayumu, the soft chocolate brown was washed over by a soft hue of red now. Yet the air was still warm with a cool wind coming in. Satou's soft eyes looked over to his love. Kaza looked far different now, his posture, face and demeanor changed on him.

So this is how you have to act all the time? It must be terrifying. To come all the way here in pleading for help. Would you even accept a no? You're in such dire times aren't you? My poor Kaza.
His eyes turned to the floor as he laid back and rests his head in his open palm. Ayumu must be under a lot of stress, hope him and Kaza can work an agreement. I need some fresh air.

The man sat there, eyes looking rather worn down as he massaged the bridge of his nose. He wondered how long it would take to have papers and be out of these offices. "If I need to write some paperwork i'll do that now?" He asked out of the blue. It had been to long since he had to legalize travel for himself. Gods it has been too long.

*chirp chirp*

The receptionist looked up into the empty entryway at the strange noise. Nothing was there… maybe it was her imagination? She returned to her current work, finishing up a few bits of information before heading home for the d—

*chirp chirp*

Startled, she looked down the hall next to her as she heard it again. Now she knew she wasn’t imagining it. But no one was there that she could see. Standing, the woman waited again, resolved to find the source of the mysterious chirping noise. It didn’t take long before it went off again, this time just around the corner of the door right out of her sight. It was time to investigate.
uSVVRim.jpg

“Yosh…” he whispered quietly as the dark-haired five-year-old slid past the receptionist’s desk on the other side and down the hall. The lady had strict rules about when the boy could see his father, but tonight Susumu was supposed to spend the night with Ayumu, and extra work wasn’t going to stop him from his date night with Dad! The boy knew the way to his father’s office, and started to the left. Maybe this time he’ll be able to make it to the office door without being caught by a guard.

However, Susumu never made it to the Sennin’s door, as he caught the muffled sound of a discussion in one of the conference rooms he passed. Curious, the boy checked the empty hall once more before pressing his ear against the door. It sounded like his father, but he couldn’t understand what he was talking about. Something about a passport? Was father going to travel again? After listening a bit further, he gave up trying understand anything further through the thick wood.

He would have to find a way inside the room in order to figure out what was going on. But if his father was there, he wouldn’t let Susumu sit in on an ever so important meeting. The young boy quietly pushed himself away from the door, wondering if there was another way into the room. The window was one option, but they were too high up for Susumu to climb a tree to get in. Plus, he would have to get by the receptionist a second time and climb up the tree. That would take too long.

Susumu bit his bottom lip as he looked around the hallway. That’s when he noticed the almost invisible grate in the wall between conference rooms. Like a lightbulb, Susumu quietly walked over to it to peer inside. Just as he suspected, it seems to be an air duct used for ventilation. Most spy movies showed that there was always a hole in the ceiling or wall that would allow anyone to peep in on the super-secret meetings. Heck, even if he couldn’t get a sight into the room, it was one hundred percent TV approved that he would be able to hear better!

After confirming that he shouldn’t get stuck in the vent, he felt in his pocket for the little utility item he snuck from his grandmother’s workshop. On it was a little screwdriver, a small blade, and a spiny looking object that he had no idea was used for, and other small useful gadgets. Popping out the screwdriver from its slot, he began quietly unscrewing the grate from its hinges. If all went well, he would be in and have the grate back in place before anyone was the wiser.

Unbeknownst the to the five-year-old, his stealth skills were deplorable amongst a building full of shinobi and a demon who could hear an adrenaline-pulsing heartbeat.

Ayumu tilted his head as the man apologized for what was about to happen. At the same time, his hand rested subtly on the hilt of the katana at his hip. After all, the phrasing there was quite ominous and one could never be too careful. The only assault that came, however, was verbal. Kaza's demeanor changed dramatically as he began listing favors that Akkuma had done for Kumogakure, an attempt to remind Ayumu that the man had done much for the village. He clearly hoped to assert a sense of obligation to aid the Miroku clan in return. It was shocking how much Kaza had changed in a short moment. Ayumu sat quietly, listening as the man listed their current allies and asked that Ayumu unofficially offer his aid. With a theatrical sweep of his arms, he said his final piece and then bowed before turning to his former countenance. Ayumu blinked a few times, slightly dazed by the rapidly changing personality, but recovered quickly. Before he could respond, Satou interjected to ask if there was any paperwork he could start working on. This afforded Ayumu the opportunity to process the speech for a moment.

"Yes, I'm sure there's a form here..." Ayumu commented, checking a drawer underneath the conference table. As he suspected, there were unused passport forms there. Occasionally passport issuers used these rooms to process passport requests. Ayumu plucked a form from the stack in the drawer and closed it before sliding the form across the table to Satou. It was simple information being requested such as his name and rank, an approximation of the trip's duration, where he was going. There was a pen on the table near Satou that he could use to begin filling it out. "Once you finish that, you just need to stop by the passport office to have an updated picture taken and they'll give you your passport. It's... relatively quick," Ayumu said, telling a little white lie at the end. The speed of the passport office depended greatly on the volume of requests they were receiving and thanks to the coming event in Sand, there were an abnormal number of requests coming in. At any rate, now that Satou had his form Ayumu could turn his attention back to Kaza.

"It's not as though I don't take his warning seriously, I am simply telling you that I do not possess the power to move the village on my own whim. I can merely advise the Raikage. I can assure you that Kumogakure does not forget the deeds of those who aid it. I will be sure to express the gravity of the situation to Saito when I see him. If the threat the Daimyo poses turns out to be as grave as you say, I can assure you that our village won't stand idly by and wait for him to inevitably come to our gates. Soon we will be in Wind Country ourselves for his daughter's wedding which will afford us the chance to investigate ourselves. Should the Daimyo try anything during that time I will personally offer my own support. That is all I can promise without speaking to Akira-sama," Ayumu responded, giving what assurance he could. As the Sennin, he was bound to follow the Raikage and as such couldn't promise anything of the village itself, as that fell to the Raikage's decisions. However, he could predict that the village would stand by the other shinobi villages if someone meant to declare war on all shinobi.

In the back of his mind, Ayumu acknowledged a slight squeaking noise of metal on metal coming from outside the room. The sound of something being removed or installed, he wasn't sure. Either way, he wasn't particularly alarmed by it. Maintenance was always being done around the Torre Celeste, it was a large tower with a fair number of maintenance staff and janitors. Such noises weren't too out of the ordinary.

Just as he finished delivering the final message that Akkuma had given him, he couldn't help but give a small smile as the man placed a hand upon his blade hilt. To the eyes of the trained agent the subtle movement may have been vocalised for he always watched the body language and movements of those around him. As he bowed and sighed he knew that his role was not yet over, though when he looked to his lover a weariness briefly flickered in those eyes. Something was wrong Satou was starting to look much like he had that night in the club. Those forest green eyes slid to Ayumu as Satou asked for forms to fill out. Ayumu rummaged about through the desk before finding the necessary forms and handing them to Satou. After Ayumu had finished speaking to Satou and no doubt concluded what he would say he turned to Kaza.

His gaze flickered briefly to his lover noting the red hue to his eyes 'I see I wonder if his control dwindles as the hunger increases?' he thought before looking back to Ayumu. The diplomat listened to Ayumu intently as he pushed his chair back and walked slowly to his lover, that wisdom filled and ever assessing gaze never leaving the Sennin while he spoke. Reaching Satou he would move his wrist up to his lovers face. "Drink." he would say in a stern yet warm voice as he lifted his wrist up to his lover, as he did so the sleeve rolled down revealing a few other feeding spots. In truth they covered most of his body he didn't care how Ayumu would feel about seeing Satou feed, he wouldn't let the man he loved suffer. "Very well...it seems you cannot do more without further risk to your own people, I can understand that. Covering for the Raikage and making the preparations for war could reflect badly upon yourself." he would say calmly as he tried to think of what options he had left.

Kaza did all this without revealing that he was currently experiencing waves of euphoria all while he held this discussion. "It seems I only have one other option that would allow us to aid you when you need it." he would say with a wide grin upon his face. As he spoke to the Sennin Kaza was unaware of the little spy that intended to listen in on their conversation. "I have only one more thing I can give you...but it comes with a cost. I can give you the frequency our clan uses...but I can't do that without you being an ally of our people." he would say before deciding to elaborate just a bit further. "My clan...we deal with many sensitive matters, mingled with our ties in the various countries. This means we have to be quite secretive when it comes to outsiders, not too mention for the safety of some of our kin. Those clans tied with us and the many kin we have residing in other countries. Our many Agents often utilise this frequency thus why I can only give it to you if you're an ally. You won't be able to access any of this without getting clearance from Akkuma...but if you can get ahold of him it could save more lives. Give me your word that you will never betray the secrets of my people or our trust...we don't care if our interests collide, just be honest with us." he would say before a deadly malice flashed in his eyes as he spoke his next words a warning to the Sennin.

"If you do betray the trust of my people we would not forgive you." no more needed to be said Kaza hoped the Sennin had gleamed enough from Akkuma and himself that the clan was not to be crossed. For they would not respond lightly to an active act against them, after all they had amassed an inter village force to counter the Daimyo. Then as if he had never been forced to reveal the Agent nature that youthful joy filled look would fill his face. "So what say you Kogami Ayumu will you agree to be an ally of the Miroku Clan at least until the end of this Event? Otherwise the only acceptable price Akkuma would accept is uniting your own house with ours. Much-like the Toraono have and the Oshiro will undoubtedly end up doing." he would say in that carefree and undisciplined tone even his body language had returned to that of a more carefree nature. Those forest green eyes would look warmly down upon Satou as he awaited the Sennins response. Satou would no doubt stop feeding soon and he wanted to make sure that red hue had subsided for now. Soon they would be tied with multiple houses within every village, those that were tied with them would see prosperity. Their network already spanned multiple countries and their clan was still young. Soon they would ensure their place in the shinobi world, each uninon bringing the strength and further increasing their kin. For the Miroku looked upon all allies as kin, they would go to war for their allies and they would perform the monstrosities their allies could not.

They happily wore the fallout they were used to mistrust and living in secrecy. They had adjusted and thrived in their nomadic existence since Mist had fallen, soon it would only be a matter of time until they had a conclave in every Village. From there they would spread like wildfire, assimilating merchant families and nobles alike. It was just a matter of time before they moved to that phase of their plan.

Once more he had to sit through moments of the two talking about political matters. Inside his mind he had a whole entire discussion with the beast while Kaza and Aumu continued to talk. Only briefly did Satou show signs of consciousness when addressing Ayumu's motioning to documents placed upon the table, a pen nearby. The soft red in his eyes seemed to grow a little brighter, as while sitting down he motioned with his left hand for the paper, his right to the pen. The speed at which the objects moved was gentle and slow, arriving at the same time as he rigidly put pen to paper and began writing. His eyes locked onto the sheet while he wrote but his mind elsewhere.

Name: Ketsueki Satou
The demon punched him across his left cheek, sending him hurting from his chair into the nearby wall past Kaza. Satou rebounded at the monstrosity as its tendrils lashed out. Ducking and running head long into the beast to tackle the giant backwards. Giving himself some distance from the monster with a shove he Falcon Punched(M) it in the chest, sending it crashing backwards into the wall. Leaping into the air Satou delivered an overpowered Eagle Drop(M) to the creature, sending it through the wall and into a void of darkness. Satou stood breathing, he sat back down.

He blinked for but a moment, licked his dry lips and continued.

Rank:Jounin
The next punch came from behind knocking him several feed forward, head over heels as he landed awkwardly hitting the desk. Coughing up blood as he tried standing, the room was a dizzy spin as he looked up to see his beloved Kaza in the creature's arms, Kaza's head dipped to the side, a face of ecstasy, as the creature feasted on his neck. "No!" Satou yelled as he shot forward in blind rage kicking the demons head back so violently that it shot backwards, releasing Kaza into his arms. In his arms his love was dying, again. Images flashed over the scene, Kaza, Sukino. He closed his eyes when tasting blood in his mouth.

When he came to, his lips were sealed over soft flesh, both his hands clasping at the wrist. Fangs driven deep into flesh as the blood dripped softly down his chin. It took himself a moment to compose. Breathing through his nose as he kept his eyes closed, focusing on Kaza's pulse. No more then a few mouthfuls when he stopped, he didn't even think of what Ayumu's reaction would be. He felt a bit embarrassed that he lost this much restraint. He could have drank Kaza completely dry and still want more. His fangs slide from the skin softly, his tongue lapped at the wound, sealing it as it healed into a fine bite mark.

He breath softly against the skin as he kissed the mark and let Kaza go while whispering. "Thank you love." Enjoying the feel of holding Kaza's hand while he used his other hand to finish writing the form.
He felt the grip of the demons hands around his neck, squeezing tight till he couldn't breath. "I want more. More! More!" As it talked its hands gripped tighter and tighter. He could hear the creature breathing behind him. "Mo-" It didn't get to finish as Satou cocked his head back and headbutted the creature in the face, loosening the grip as he pivoted, raising his elbow to smash it into its face, tumbling the creature back as Satou stood up, taking his chair and began beating the creature unconscious while shouting "GO TO SLEEP! GO TO SLEEP! GO TO SLEEP!" Until the chair shattered over the creatures head.

He could hear the pounding of their hearts in his ears. One stood out more so, the pounding heart fumbling outside the room, trying to get in perhaps. Satou smiled softly when he could hear the heartbeat moving closer. It was small, but heavy, fear filled or with a sense of adrenaline? He decided it would be interesting to try something. Silently he used the demon's power to undo the screws to this rooms vent cover. Ever silently pulling the screws away and hiding them behind a nearby table, holding the grate encase it fell. He kept it there with a slight use of his power. He did all this while keeping focused on the form.

approximation of the trip's duration: A month.

He paused, nothing. He continued writing.

Destination: Sunagakure.

Again he paused, waiting for the demon to interrupt him. Nothing but the humming silence, the sound of hearts beating and the words from the two other men in the room. Which he took heed to ignore, he didn't want to get involved in this conversation. He wondered if the interloper will intervene.
Once finished he sent the pen back to the table the same way he took it. He sat patiently quiet in his seat while waiting for Kaza to finish his business.

The more Susumu pulled at the vent, the more noise he made. It took his foot planted on the wall before the item finally popped out of its rusty slot. Quickly setting the metal aside, Susumu wrinkled his nose as the dust rustled around him and quickly climbed in.

Once inside he realized he was just too big to turn around and put the grate back in the slot. The boy’s choices were to proceed forward, and risk being caught by a passing individual in the hall, or enter backwards, probably making more noise than he wanted. Deciding that the only way up was forward, he slowly started to quietly shimmy towards the dim light he saw ahead of him. ‘It must be the opening into the conference room!’ he thought.

The closer Susumu got, the more excited he became. Finally! A chance to see his father in Sennin-ruling action! The closer the light, the faster his heart raced. He began to make out stern conversation about helping someone in Suna… someone was told to drink? Drink what, he wondered. If only he could see! And then they were talking about a man named Akkuma? Who was he? The closer Susumu got, the more he wanted to know what was going on. It wasn’t until his head almost smashed into a metal wall did he realize that the vent sharply turned up, and the opening to the room was less than a foot above his head.

Rolling in place, the little intruder wiggled to get his body contorted in such a way that he could possibly see inside. He was just shy of seeing over the bottom slit. Maybe if he could pull is body further into the vertical part of the shaft, he could get a better view while sitting! It was here when all of Susumu’s great plans and schemes came to an abrupt halt.

For while he was wiggling in the tiny shaft, the shaft slowly grew smaller and smaller. A piece of his clothing wedged itself between two corners of metal and became firmly stuck. So when he pulled his second arm in front of him to get a good push going, he was met with immediate resistance. Confused, Susumu pulled again, this time making a clear, and unintentional huff in his struggle. He immediately stopped moving, and quickly began to realize that it was time for him to abort his little mission. That huff would have been caught by any shinobi in the room with him so close to the vent.

In his hasty attempt to retreat, matters only grew worse. The second arm to come out, suddenly was in no position to go back into the horizontal shaft. This cause Susumu’s body to become firmly wedged in the small area, and after moments more of struggling, he realized that he was hopelessly…. stuck.

His heart sunk as he realized what he had to do. This was it. The big ker-flup, the end of his golden years. Before his first mission, before his first class even, Susumu realized he was going to die. His father was going to kill him.

Tears began to well up as a small sniff could be heard from the vent. “Otou-san,” came a pitiful boyish cry. The loosened grate would pop out of the wall in the conference room as small, dirty fingers struggled to find purchase on the bottom lip of the hole before slipping and hitting metal. When someone looked in to see him, they would see a boy of four with black hair and forest green eyes, covered in soot, and staring up a them with an arm pinned awkwardly between his body and the tunnel shaft.

Ayumu couldn't help but feel like he the maintenance staff was making an awful lot of noise at this point. He understood that they had a job to do, but he was having a meeting here. The sounds came from the vents, Ayumu assumed, echoing through from the hall. Sighing, he tried to ignore it and hoped the guest wouldn't find it too unprofessional. Yet, his concerns for appearances lessened as Kaza insisted that Satou drink from his wrist. Clearly they were not overly concerned with appearances. Ayumu was aware of Satou's feeding habits. Kahako was a primary source of blood for him for quite some time before Ayumu was even aware. It was a point of contention between Kahako and he, and she was not one to budge easily. That Satou had found himself another source was good news for Ayumu. Hopefully this meant that Kahako would no longer be serving as his personal blood bank.

Providing sustenance for Satou did not stop Kaza from continuing his conversation. Ayumu, on the other hand, simply tried not to stare by focusing on Kaza himself. Fortunately, Kaza seemed to understand that Ayumu's hands were tied. While he was Sennin and it was a position of power, he could not move the village to war as nothing more than the Sennin. That said, Kaza appeared to have another idea. He could give Ayumu access to the clan's radio line, the ability to contact them while in Sand if necessary. Considering that they seemed to know much more about the situation in Wind which was sounding increasingly perilous, this was certainly beneficial to Ayumu. In the event that something did happen, having allies in the area would be useful. In return he would happily lend his blade against a common enemy if that was what it came to.

Ayumu nodded as Kaza spoke of the importance of what he was offering. They would be extending quite the show of trust to Ayumu to grant him such access. He asked for Ayumu's word that he would not betray their secret or trust and promised that if he betrayed them he would not be forgiven. Ayumu nodded once more. "Of course. Nor would I forgive anybody who betrayed my people. I understand," Ayumu replied briefly. Suddenly, Kaza's demeanor changed once again. It was similar to how it had been before, calm and relaxed. Happy, even. The man certainly had a talent for putting on faces when he needed them. He asked finally whether Ayumu would agree to be the clan's ally, at least until the end of the event in Wind. Ayumu took a deep breath and leaned back in his seat. In the silence, the noise of the maintenance was truly obnoxious. He wondered if they were even trying to be quiet.

"You have my word. I won't betray any of your secrets. And I will offer myself as an ally should the Wind Daimyo act against the shinobi he has invited as guests. I'll share any information I might pick up while there and take up arms if it comes to it. So long as your clan does not act against the interests of my people, we will have no problems," Ayumu responded. It was about this time that a very audible sigh of frustration came from the event. It was immediately clear that someone had infiltrated the vents. Ayumu shot from his seat, turning towards the vent and unsheathing his blade in a single motion. Watching and listening intently, the voice that came caused him to cringe as quickly as he recognized it. Susumu. The grate on the wall fell, and the boy's fingers could barely be seen attempting to reach out but failing. Ayumu's sword arm fell to his side whilst his free hand palmed his face in embarrassment. He was worried about maintenance staff being loud earlier, that was nothing comparing to this.

"Susumu..." he growled in a stern voice. Cringing further, he sheathed his sword and turned to the two guests. "I am... so sorry. That pitiful voice you hear... is my son's," Ayumu said, running his fingers through his hair exasperatedly. "Give me just one moment..." he groaned, walking to the grate and taking a look inside. He could make out the top of Susumu's head and his pinned arms. It was plain to see he was stuck, but good. "How the..." Ayumu whispered, taking a step back. He had twisted and turned himself in such a way that he could not be pulled out without twisting some limbs in a way they weren't supposed to go. Sighing, he unsheathed his sword once more. "Susumu, listen to me. Don't. Move."

Ensuring that his son was going to be compliant, Ayumu reared back his sword and in a flash of motion made four slices. After a moment, a square shaped portion of the drywall fell away from the wall exposing the metal vent in which Susumu was trapped. "Hmm..." Ayumu hummed, calculating his aim. Shimmying his feet forward just an inch or so, he reared back his sword once more. He did so hope that Susumu was at least a little worried right about now, even if he had no reason to be with Ayumu's accuracy. "Yep... this is coming out of my paycheck," Ayumu muttered. One final slice split the vent vertically, naturally leaving Susumu unharmed though perhaps a little startled. Sheathing his sword, Ayumu stepped forward and pried the two sides of the split metal apart, revealing Susumu and freeing the poor boy.

"You are so.... SO grounded. Honestly, what were you thinking? If you're going to sneak about, at least don't get caught," Ayumu scolded, reaching in and pulling Susumu out. He carried Susumu under his arm to the door of the conference room, setting him down just in front of it. "Now apologize to these two for interrupting and then go wait for me with the receptionist. In the meantime, I'll figure out what to do with you after this," Ayumu said ominously. He hoped Susumu dreaded what was to come, whatever that was going to be. He hadn't figured it out quiet yet. In truth, they were supposed to go out for dinner tonight and he wasn't about to cancel that, but Susumu had something coming to him for this stunt. That was for sure. How many times had Susumu pulled something like this now? Ayumu really needed to invest in a good babysitter. As soon as he was gone, Kaza and Ayumu could finish their conversation. This had taken up enough of their time.

Satou had begun to fill in his form when the Emissary told him to drink, he had clasped his wrist with both hands holding him firmly as he drank. Ayumu seemed to be weighing the diplomats words carefully, leaning back and clearly thinking on the matter. As they spoke he couldn't help but hear that growing noise from the vents and get the feeling someone was making their way towards them. Fortunately he was not playing the roll of an Agent today so he would do his best to keep what skills he had left hidden.

Kaza was glad to hear that the Sennin understood the importance of the offering being extended to him, saying he would not forgive anyone who betrayed his people either. Though he seemed to have to think a lot harder on the matter of allying himself with their clan at least till the end of this Event. For a brief moment he wondered what he could be considering but the man would soon answer so he wouldn't dwell on it. Satou finished feeding and thanked him, the young man grasped his lovers hand firmly. "Anytime my love." he would say with a playful wink to his lover before his gaze slid back to Ayumu.

Listining to his words he would nod "That is sufficient for now, I'm sure my Lord will be satisfied with that. I can assure you even though he is Half-Demon my Lord desires your people no ill will. That is why he revealed Titan to Akira Saito & why he has sent me here to warn you and hopefully allow us to be prepared for what is to come. No doubt he will even save Oshiro Saki's life..." he would say wondering if the man was aware of the Kumogakurian ninja's medical condition, Akkuma was capable of brilliant things. It was just a matter of whether one was prepared for the sometimes monstrous cost it could have for them. Though he had stopped stalking because there was a now clearly audible struggle and grunt from the vent.

The young mans gaze slid to the vent as Ayumu dashed towards it, his hand on the hilt of his blade. The grate fell revealing the tips of a child's fingers struggling to get a grip. Kaza chuckled as the child called out and from the Sennins reaction he knew the boy. 'Im guessing that's his son...' he thought to himself then again it could have been his apprentice, no doubt they would soon find out. Next his thoughts were confirmed, Ayumu apologised saying it was his sons voice they heard.

Next the Sennin calmed his son before raising the blade up and slicing through the dry wall revealing the venting. He couldn't help but wonder how on earth the child had managed to get there in the first place. Kaza almost gasped when the shinobi prepared to slice through the venting with his blade. Surely he didn't intend to slice through it, when he raised his blade once more the Emissary dashed forward with incredible speed. "No!" he would cry out as he extended a hand coated in nano kikaichu, though his speed was nothing compared to the Sennins and before he could take more then a few steps the Sennin had sheathed his blade. The act completed already and the youth being pulled out by his father. Blushing Kaza felt foolish of course he would not have sliced through it if he did not know he wouldn't harm his son.

Kikaichu slowly returned into his body as he looked back at Satou, this was why he had barely any chakra the kikaichu consumed most of it constantly. He had yet to reveal this to his lover, but that was one of his orders under no circumstances should he reveal his abilities unless necessary. But Kaza was not the cold and uncaring person he often portrayed. In truth he was the mischeivous and carefree individual he liked to show. But his duties often required him to hide his true nature for he wasn't being him when he dealt diplomatically he had to represent Akkuma, think like him.

Ayumu told his son he was grounded and saying if he was going to do this sort of thing he shouldn't get caught. Setting his boy down just outside the room he told him to apologise. Then to go wait with the receptionist Kaza's forest green eyes would move to the youth. "I think there was no harm done...what's a bit of property damage when compared with the adventure and valuable lessons he has to learn from this moment?" he would ask with a mischeivous grin upon his face.

"Can I offer you some advice for the next time you want to try something like this?" he would ask the Sennins son, being someone who was used to doing infiltration and espionage he had a few pointers for the boy. Many of the Miroku Clan children were mischeivous beyond belief, something such as this was considered commonplace. Considering everyone within their clan was allowed an opinion, even the children. Not too mention with their Lord constantly reminding everyone to follow their hearts, it was hard to reprimand them when they decided to do a practice ambush while meetings took place. Though admittedly he had never seen someone try to use a vent to spy through, though he imagined if one did it would prove better to use a puppet, summon or clone.

Satou sat patiently waiting, listening intently to the heavy heartbeat of the panicked child. The demon was as well. It didn't take long for the child to take error and end up stuck. Satou felt a little sad as the vent was let go and the child cried out for his father for help. Satou soft smile didn't leave his lips. What it would be to be young and mischievous. With the conversation somewhat sidetracked, Ayumu had to save his son, showing off some fine sword skill. He knew Ayumu would handle with care in this situation, though Satou could have fished the boy from the vent with just a glance. He did not intervene, this was a father's job, a father's duty.

He did not expect Kaza to jump up in a panic at Ayumu's actions, he wanted to reach out but didn't. He was just staring at some odd thing Kaza was emanating. But it retreated just as quickly as used. He looked embarrassed, his poor Kaza had lost a bit of composure. Yet still the demonic man sat with a relax poise in his chair. His warm red eyes looking at Kaza slightly inquisitively. But sighed with his grin, leaning in and kissing Kaza's forehead. "Relax my love." He whispered as he leaned back in his chair once more. Kaza wishing to give tips while Ayumu scolded Susumu. What was he to do?

While staring outside. How he wanted to feel the cold air hit his skin again. "Should teach the kid some cool moves Ayumu. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery some would say. He just wants to be as cool as his dad." Satou reached into his pocket and pulled something out that glistened weakly in the light of the nearby window. His headband, the plate look worn down and weathered. He wondered how long he kept the thing.

The band wasn't needed, the plate meant something. So he tore it from the headband and stuffed the plate back in his pocket. Standing and walking casually over to Susumu and Ayumu as he knelt before the boy and immediately tied the band around Susumu's forehead. "You'll be a cool ninja like you're dad someday, don't give up. Try harder next time." He then ruffled the kid's hair, got up. Turning his eyes on Kaza. "Once you two done making deals, I'll be waiting out the room." He gave his love another kiss on the forehead. Turning to Ayumu he shook the mans hand. "Thanks for the passport. I'll be back before you know it." He laughed a bit, then was out the door the next second waiting in the hallway.

As he paced a few feet down the hall.
The demon's fist once more punched Satou across the face, it's other hand quickly grabbed him by the neck as he was disoriented and was sent flying down the hall at shattering speed that the vacuum of air shattered windows as he bounced along the floor. It took every ounce of his body strength to withstand the kinetic force as the cloak of demonic power enveloped him. Snarling, Satou rushed down the hall back at the demon with blinding speed that it ripped the ground with each step as he launched his body into the air to kick the demon squarely in its horrific face.

It's massive right hand raised as it stopped Satou mid-air with a maw of kinetic energy slamming Satou into the ground. Though that barely made him flinch as his body shot off the ground once more rushing the demon with punches and kicks as the creature flailed arms and tendrils to match blow for blow. No matter how much chakra he poured into his attacks the Demon would match it and slowly overpower him.

Satou pressed more out of his cloak of chakra and he started to feel the strain. His muscles felt torn as he punched and kicked furiously. Each time being met with kinetic energy ripping at his skin and pounding against his bones.

He collapsed against the nearby wall no more then eight feet down the hall, the demonic cloak slowly evaporating around him as he sunk into the corner of the hallway, resting his head against the cold drywall. Breathing slowly the smell of the building, the people in rooms, the very cleaning products used on the floor. His hand were searching for his cigarette pack, he wanted a smoke, he wanted a drink.

With every step his father took towards the cramped little prison, Susumu felt his life nearing its end little by little. From the growl of his name to the angered eyes that peered at him from the light, Susumu send a quiet prayer that his father would make his death quick and painless. Susumu nodded, completely compliant to his father’s commands, completely still as he waited for the death blow, completely accepting of his punishment as the stranger called out in fear, completely—

He blinked a few times as the distinct sound of bending metal reverberated around him as his father’s arm scooped him in and pulled him from the darkness and into his chest. The young boy wasn’t sure if he should take comfort in the Sennin’s arms, or fear what retributions would be made for him. It seemed he would have neither as his father firmly set him down next to the door and demanded an apology from the five-year-old.

Susumu immediately bowed as his nanny taught him to do to the others in the room. “Moushi wake arimasen,” he mumbled through his lips, clearly embarrassed for the public scolding he had just received. Susumu sheepishly looked up from his ruffled bangs when the stranger chuckled at the boy and asked if he would like some tips. “YES PLEASE!!” He said excitedly as all thoughts of his current punishment scattered to the winds. He listened with deep concentration to Kaza’s advise, committing all he could to memory so he could try it out on the maids later.

Then the other man in the room spoke up. The boy became quite shy at the mention of imitation and flattery, beginning to fidget. His eyes partially closed as the man’s hands wrapped the band around his forehead. His vibrant green eyes looking up wondrously as the dark haired man told Susumu to push on to be a better shinobi before kissing the other man on the forehead. “I will! When you come back from your travels, you’ll see! I’ll probably be a full-fledged ninja!” he said with reverberated enthusiasm before turning to Kaza again.

Soon, however, it was time for Susumu to do as his father had ordered and leave so the adults could finish their business. “Thank you so much for the pointers Emissary-sama!” Susumu said before darting out the room as fast as his short legs could carry him. He would soon remember he was grounded, but with all that happened today, it didn’t seem SO bad that his dad would end up killing him.

Susumu slowed to a stop in front of Satou in the hall. He thought it strange that the man sat on the floor in the hall when there was a perfectly good chair in the lobby, but decided not to bring up the matter and loose his ‘cool’ points with the adult. “You remind me of Mama.” The boy said before giving Satou the biggest grin his could while placing his hands over his head. Clearly, in the boy’s mind this was a compliment of the highest degree. “You should meet my Mama one day, I think she would find you cool too! Though, she might get onto you for smoking.” With that, Susumu waved goodbye and began his journey back to the irked receptionist who probably located the small device making the chirping noise. It was Susumu’s handheld that his grandmother gifted to him.

Susumu did as instructed, bowing in apology to the two men. As he rose form his bow Ayumu placed a hand on his shoulder. He had to stifle a chuckle as Kaza suggested the the property damage was worth the experience to Susumu. He might have greed to some extent, but he couldn't allow Susumu to think it was okay. After all, other people that Ayumu could have been meeting with might not have been so understanding of the little spy's antics. This time it turned out okay, but other times it could cause the village trouble. Fortunately, both of them seemed nothing but amused. Kaza even went so far as to offer some advise, which Susumu enthusiastically accepted. Satou suggested that Ayumu teach Susumu some moves. Naturally Ayumu was already teaching Susumu whenever he could. Training time was something that they both looked forward to. He clearly needed some work on the stealth training, though.

Ayumu cocked an eyebrow as Satou ripped the metal piece from the cloth of his head band and pocketed it before walking to Susumu with the headband itself. He knelt down and wrapped the band around the child's forehead giving him some encouraging words before standing up. Naturally, Susumu was thrilled, declaring that he was going to be a shinobi by the time Satou returned. This time Ayumu couldn't help but chuckle aloud. "I guess we'd better work double time on the stealth training then," Ayumu said, patting his son's head. After kissing Kaza on the forehead and saying a temporary goodbye to him, Satou extended his hand to Ayumu for a handshake. Returning the gesture, Ayumu nodded. "Then I'll see you again soon," he said before Satou stepped out of the room. That over with, he looked to Susumu who was still there for the moment.

"Go on now, I'll be out soon," Ayumu instructed Susumu, patting him on the back. He had used up enough of the emissary's time now. Susumu thanked the men and turned to leave after Satou leaving just Kaza and Ayumu remaining. Before the interruption they had come to an agreement about their temporary alliance. While Ayumu was in Sand, he intended to keep an eye out for the dangers Kaza had warned him of. If it came down to it and the Wind Daimyo made a move against Cloud and the other shinobi present, he would certainly side with the shinobi of the Miroku clan... and any others in opposition to the threat.

"Well now, is there anything else I can do for you?" Ayumu asked, making sure that their business was complete before they said farewell.

Kaza smiled warmly as the boy apologised, accepting his advice eagerly. Watching the exchange between the child and Satou he would chuckle. It seemed he wasn't the only one who was happy to offer advice to the aspiring ninja, after the brief encounter was done. His lover kissed him on the forehead saying he would see him shortly, Kaza smiled warmly at him. Although he couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong with his lover, he watched Satou say his farewell to Ayumu. After his lover stepped out from the room, Ayumu told his son to also depart.

When Susumu turned to depart Kaza would give him a small wave saying "Its my pleasure I'm sure you'll make a fine shinobi one day." then turning his gaze to Ayumu. When the Sennin asked if there was anything else that he could do for the Emissary he would smile. "I believe I have everything that is needed, but there is something I could do for you." he would say waiting a few seconds to make sure that Susumu was well out of ear shot. When he was sure they would be alone he took a step towards the Sennin. "When you are at the Event, should you need aid our frequency is 666. If my Lord is unable to answer I assure you one of our Agents will answer the call..." he would say warmly to the Sennin realising there was one thing he could do for the Emissary.

"Actually there is one thing you could do for me...should you find what I've told you to be true. I need you to inform your shinobi that my Clan & Lord are allies. That we are not apart of the Daimyo's attack. Due to our appearance and methods, this could help us greatly." he would say to the Sennin waiting for his response. If he remembered his Lord then Ayumu might just agree with what the Emissary had said. Once they were done talking the Emissary would bow to him "Farewell Ayumu it has been a pleasure to meet you. I hope that we meet again soon..." he would say warmly to the Sennin extending a hand to the man. After they had bid each other farewell he would exit the room and come across his lover sitting on the ground.

Rushing over to him with speed only a shinobi could possess he helped his lover up "...come with me." he would say guiding his lover into one of the empty conference rooms and locking the door behind them. His lover needed to feed and Kaza had finished his work it was time to celebrate in his own way. Anyone hearing any noise coming from the room would probably decide this would be one time it would be best to ignore any noise they heard.

Shaking hand finally found the pack, opening it an popping a cigarette onto my lips. I paused for the lighter when I hear footsteps approach and the cheerful voice of Susumu, Remarking that I was similar to Kahako. I couldn't fathom how, it gave me a long pause as I stared at the boys eyes while in deep thought. "No, I guess she wouldn't appreciate it." I smiled and waved back as he took of in energetic run. I breathed a sigh, looking down the hall as the Demon stood at the far end, laughing. His irksome laughter.

As I stayed glaring upon him the hallway started to twist and turn. Then sound around me started to get louder and disorienting to a deafening pounding sound. My body felt like it was on fire, everything surging and pounding inside my chest that I wanted to scream for help. I just sat there, glaring down the hall with jaw clenched tight that I was almost chewing the cigarette, the taste of the tobacco brought reality back just for a second for me to close my eye's and breath.

I didn't feel like smoking anymore. I slipped the cigarette back into the pack. My fingers still slightly trembling, wishing Kaza was holding them.
My eyes opened to see the hall a horrific mess of dismemberment. Bodies strewn about, all of them were bodies of those I met. Their blank dead faces all facing me, staring at me with empty eyes. Down the middle of the hall stood a headless Susumu, his head in front of him, held by his small dainty hands. His bright green eyes had lost luster and was faded, staring at me. His tiny voice whispered out. "Why did you kill us Satou? We cared about you."

I had wanted to cry out no but I snapped from it almost with whiplash sudden air inhaling into my lungs, the hall was normal. No bodies, no dead child. I was breathing deeply a few times, running fingers over my face and sighing, exhausted, defeated. Everything felt numb now. The world was blurred and colors washed over others.

It wouldn't be long before Kaza had finished speaking with the boss. As I sat there, I looked rather dazed probably, my eyes were bloodshot. My posture lax and without strength. I barely felt strong enough to stand at the moment. Kaza came running to me, how fast was he? It was seconds to wait, to feel his fingers through mine. His warmth of his hold. My mind was slowly slipping into an estranged euphoria. My skin pulsed with each throb of my heart as Kaza pulled me up to my feet, quickly speaking to follow, I did so as he guided me into a dark unoccupied room. I breathed easier in his arms as I listened for the door to click lock.
