Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

To check the condition or health of various parts of a shinobi's body systems and organs Medics and MiTs conduct physical examinations which are taken regularly when a shinobi visits the Omni Prime Medical Center. There are approximately five reasons a shinobi becomes a patient in the Omni Prime (OP): birth, illness/injury, check-ups, "fit to serve" assessments after a long-term illness or injury and finally death. This section focus' on the later three.

Often this is just a monitored work-out to make sure that a shinobi is healthy enough to participate in missions. This is usually performed after a shinobi suffered a serious injury or illness. The standard is the 'Fit Test' which consists of push ups, sit ups, squats and a run. Due to the complex and divergent nature of our shinobis, some do not even pass this basic test where as others even in their most severely dehabilitated state can complete this test with relative ease. For this reason it is a Medic's job to determine if their patient is at their baseline health or that they can safely act as a shinobi in the capacity they plan to return as (a gate guard v a paper pusher v a hunter would all have different standards.

Fit Test
  1. 100 Push ups
  2. 100 Sit ups
  3. 100 Squats
  4. Run 10 K

Often done annually, this is basically an assessment of a patient's form, function and overall health. Secondarily this is sometimes used by Medics to identify the dead when only a part of them is recovered. Medics store samples from their patients indefinitely in the Omni Prime Medical Center, so when an unidentified body is recovered sometimes this is our only means of identification. In addition, we also use our findings to profile and catalog the potential of mankind as an important part of our research.

Check-ups
  • Heart sounds (often heard using a stethoscope)
  • Pulse
  • Overall appearance of the skin
  • Lung Sounds
  • Abdominal Sounds (often heard using a stethoscope)
  • Palpation of the body/patient
  • Joints examined for pain or swelling
[*[ Mental State - orientation, coordination, and awareness
  • Blood and fluid samples
  • Fingerprints
Check up
When someone dies under mysterious circumstances, certain types of deaths are investigated:
  • Injury
  • Poisoning
  • Suspected foul play
  • Unknown infectious process

The outcome of an autopsy is to attempt to define the manner of death as being one of the following: natural, accidental, homicide, suicide or undetermined. while 'undetermined' is rare it does happen on occasion. During the examination, the Medic will review any information available to them regarding the death - hoe they were found, where, the position of the body etc. This is a very important part of the investigative process in many cases.

Make sure your subject is dead when you perform an autopsy.

Mission: Fit test"]A fit test is a necessary assessment component so that we can maintain good shinobi health. While every shinobi is different and some may even be in what we would consider 'poor' health, this process is important so that we can catalog their healing, recovery or continually diminishing capacity. While there is no single exam for this, many medics opt for a standard physical fitness test such as [THIS] or THIS. But in some cases medics will do an examination of their patients chakra where they attempt to exhaust their patient's chakra if the subject is not in a field that requires physical fitness for example.

  • Rank: Varies. This can become a group mission (for the medic only) if the Medic or the MiT examines an actual player and not an NPC but they need to fulfill the group mission criteria. This would be considered a self-modded group mission in that case. This can also be done as part of an MiT's training in a group mission as a Medic or even as a group mission among a group of MiTs together.

Details: Complete a fit test examination on a single PC or NPC.

Mission: Checking in"]Annual check-ups are commonplace. Some require even more frequent check-ups after short injuries where they might not have been taken out of commission for long but they need to be sure that everything is alright.

    Details: Perform a check-up.

Mission: Death and Discovery An autopsy is really the end of the line for most shinobis. Many of our dead prefer to be burned so that their body is not misused after death, but in some cases prior to this or at the behest of the fallen we need to examine their remains.

Please note -- Autopsies are intended for the dead only.

This is Considered to be a Self-Modded Solo Mission
Important: Self-modded missions may be done twice in a week, however the second mission done yields half normal rewards. Players may also perform one mission with 2x the word count in order to gain the rewards of having done two missions. This still only yields half rewards for the second mission.

What Rank of Self-Modded Solo Missions can I perform?
  • A user may only perform a mission of their current OOC Rank or lower. This mission is considered to match the Rank of the Medic or MiT who performs the mission.

What are the rewards for Solo Missions?
  • This depends on the Rank your character is OC'ly. But the rewards are as follows:
    • D-Rank: 2,000 Yen
    • C-Rank: 2,500 Yen
    • B-Rank: 3,000 Yen
    • A-Rank: 4,000 Yen
    • S-Rank: 5,000 Yen

What is the required word count for this mission?
  • The word count is dependent on the rank of the mission you undergo. The word count minimumsare as follows:
    • E-Rank: 250 Words
    • D-Rank: 300 Words
    • C-Rank: 350 Words
    • B-Rank: 400 Words
    • A-Rank: 450 Words
    • S-Rank: 500 Words

Someone else has already completed this entry, what now?
  • This entry is considered to be a repetitive entry, meaning that when this mission is completed, it will happen again someplace else. That is the problem with diseases and people catching them! So it is POK for multiple players to do this mission separately.

Can this be a group mission?
  • The answer is YES. Just look-up and follow all group mission rules, this can be a modded or a non-modded mission. As a group (modded or otherwise) mission, this can be used to count towards your Captain status.

I have completed my mission, what now?
  • Drop you mission off in character (IC) HERE.

I am not from Sunagakure but I am visiting and I would like to perform a solo mission listed, is that OK?
  • YES! While you are always welcome to join our community (and we do encourage it), leaving people out of the fun goes against the out of character spirit of this community. You can serve as a mercenary or a helpful foreigner and complete these missions as well, just keep it in character and drop your mission off at the office as listed above but re-linked HERE. Just be sure that you have gotten permission from your primary community.
