Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Takeshi stood in the office that had been prepared for the meeting of the three Kage, the room was spacious and in the middle of it the table stood a circle ready for the three men to sit at. The chairs covered in the colours of the respective Kage, behind that chair sat a single chair as well. One for a Sennin to join if they wanted to, well if the Kage let them that was. Takeshi allowed himself to look at the hat that was in his hands, remembering a time when he first took it on and the promise that came with it.

So much had changed inside of Leaf since that time, though even from this room the Hussle and bustle from outside continued to echo into the walls of the Hokage mansion. Takeshi had sent an invite for the one Sennin to join him that he felt would suit this task. Though it was still strange to consider him as such Yukio had proven himself in the past and it was clear that he still had a lot to learn and grow, but he was everything expected of someone in charge of his branch. Glancing down to the hat of the forth Hokage he placed it on the table facing inwards.

The robes of the forth still clung to him as he took a deep breath in, it wasn’t every day that he got a chance to talk with the Kage from the other villages. He knew full well that it was important to get all the story across, with people leaving the land, rumours could do damage to there allies. It was time during the lunar festival that they could get rid of those rumours, open the air and discussions on the subject so to speak. This was something that he hoped would prove successful.

Takeshi allowed himself to pull the chair out ready for him to sit down at the table, for those Kage that entered the Hokage mansion would be directed to this room. In the corner of the room was a table that held all types of refreshment. Takeshi allowed himself to grab a bottle of water opening the lid he drank from it as he wandered back to the seat to wait for the arrival of the other Kage to the meeting. Wondering still how the discussions would go was something on his mind.

Walking through the halls of the Hokage mansion Chinatsu hung by Yukio's side tilting his head to him from time to time a curious look in his face. "It seems this will be a rather interesting occasion, though given the more relaxed atmosphere during this time it makes the most sense, safe to say I am in agreement and i can assume you are feeling the same way." The man did not respond simple nodding to his companion as he moved with purpose to his destination.

Yukio knew the importance of this meeting it was not often the Kage met in one place let alone to bringing a Sennin along with them, safe to say a good impression was in order and even Chinatsu understood this well. "You need not say anything I understand what must happen here." The being receded returning to the gauntlet from whence he came the Hyuuga sliding his sleeve over the item a slight sting traveling up his arm a feeling shook off a second later as he headed towards the office prepared for them.

Upon entering the man gave a bow to Takeshi in the traditional sign of respect. "Lord fourth, A pleasure to see you again." Without another word he headed to his seat remaining silent for a time pondering to himself about how this could go. It wasn't so much he was nervous more curious being in a rather new situation like this one it would also be the first time he'd met the other Kage having never left the village there was the curiosity of what they would be like.

It was a hard thing for Ayumu to get away from the village for an extended period of time. In fact, if it hadn't been for recent circumstances he probably would have skipped attending the festival altogether. Yet, things had happened recently and the invitation to meet with the Hokage aligned with his interests. Multiple shinobi formerly of Konoha had arrived in Kumo, each with their own stories of trouble in paradise. Yet Ayumu had only heard one side of the story, and he knew that he needed to hear more to form an opinion. With this in mind, he had arrived in the village the night before and was now making his way towards the Hokage Mansion. He wore something similar to his usual coat, but this was more a jacket. Double breasted with red and gold trim, two columns of brass buttons down the front to his waist but missing the fur around the collar which didn't really suit the climate of Fire Country. This was accompanied by black slacks and boots and at his hip he carried two sheathed katanas.

He could see the mansion long before he arrived, as the tallest building around. It wasn't as tall as the Torre Celeste, which gave Ayumu some kind of silly pride, as if it mattered. If he were truly prideful, he'd get a team together to put his face up on the mountains like they did here in Konoha. But of course, then he'd have to get the Raikages of old put up as well, and there weren't enough mountains for that. Upon entering the building, it seemed he was expected which was no surprise. This wasn't Ayumu's first kage meeting now though it felt like it held more stakes than the last. His accompanying party, guards for the most part, remained in the lobby save for the one person who he had chosen to attend the meeting with him. As directed, they made their way to the office which had been reserved and prepared for the meeting.

Ayumu stepped inside, taking a look around the room as he entered. Straight ahead was the table clearly prepared for a meeting, a chair that was undoubtedly reserved for the Raikage. More importantly, Ayumu quickly recognized the Hokage whom he had met once before at the previous kage meeting, before he was promoted. The other man was unfamiliar to Ayumu, though he was presumably important to Konoha if he was in attendance. "Greetings,"<i></i> Ayumu said, a bit tense. He didn't feel like his usual easygoing self right now. Standing here now, looking at Takeshi, he couldn't help but remember the things he had heard about him. How much truth was in those rumors, and what was it that Takeshi hoped to speak to the kages about?

Allowed to join Ayumu on his journey into the proverbial heart of the beast, Musashi first had to doubly thank Yomi for even approving of the gesture of good faith. To imply that she didn't trust ninjas around her man was an understatement. Simply put, any and all of them could catch hands, quick work, a cross and/or a fade. The choice of poison was their own to choose as she simply wasn't one to play games. They'd left the land of Fire with peace between them and the Uchiha as an assured thing. Their legacies were quite literally etched into the side of a mountain. Any perceived sleight would be sure to draw the ire of the easily offended. Unfortunately for them both, Musashi had a problem with following the normal conventional means of things. In the end, Yomi got the pipe work that she'd been begging for . . . before he left, and Ayumu got a partner in crime who was far more educated on the ins and outs of this sort of diplomacy. Everybody could eventually win in this game but Musashi would have the most fun with the best of both worlds! Catching Ayumu up to the general speed of things, he spared few details concerning the state of Konoha at the time of his departure or the Civil War that proceeded. Throwing in the multiple parcels of mail that had made their way to the gates of Kumogakure and the messages that they carried, the fact of the matter was that Konoha had a lot of explaining to do unless they wished to remain publicly on notice from the rest of the civilized Eastern shinobi states.

The rumors from the large influx of refugees also known as "haters" and those simply wishing to pass on their stories, or "gossip folks", couldn't be ignored. Or they could and from them stories would spawn and spin their own tales. "Culler of Children", "Feller of Fathers", "Murderer of Mothers", Takeshi didn't want those titles and Musashi didn't want them for him either. Heck, even if she didn't want to admit it, Yomi didn't want that for Takeshi either. They both loved Konoha and the dreams that came with it. Some even said that if you could make it there you could make it anywh- . . . no . . . that was what they said about Sunagakure. Only the most hardened of people could eke out an existence and thrive in a desert. Konoha was more of a "La La Land" if anything. Lots of sunshine, good times and generally rich but also equally fake and depraved people. Laughing to himself, the retired Hokage shook his head and continued to get dressed. Even with an active imagination even he had to stop himself from diving off of the mental deep end. A meeting of Kage was supposed to be serious and dignified! Ayumu officially wanted him as a translator and a historical voice of reason. Able to speak all of the languages of the Fire Country as well as the Earth Country and even recently, that of Ancient Kumo, Musashi was a very good diplomatic option. The fact that he'd been the one to help broker the alliance deal between Konoha and Kumo was icing on the cake after a resume like that.

When he finally could pull himself from the grasp of the needy and greedy Yomi, he joined Ayumu. Giving the Raikage a thorough looking over, he nodded with approval. Clearly Ayumu got the memo concerning the extent of his abilities but he was missing just one thing in particular.
"They don't respect you around here unless you wear a hat . . . but I got you covered!" Whether he liked it or not, there were some fashion trends that were unavoidable. Yomi may have been the fashionista but Musashi was bleeding edge when it came to his ability to innovate at the last minute. Sometimes he had a little too much fun with his abilities but at least this way, he'd be able to provide basic protection for Ayumu and catch a front row seat to the festivities. Sticking closer to Ayumu than probably either of the two men would have preferred . . . strawberry-mango shampoo . . . Musashi gave the Raikage the cue that it was probably time for them to move and then they were before the Hokage . . . and yep, no Kazekage. The people from Sunagakure always seemed to be fashionably late. True, they weren't exactly early themselves but it might have been wise if Takeshi had put the time for the meeting as thirty minutes prior to the actual start of the meeting. S.P. Time at it's finest! Musashi wouldn't bother with alerting Ayumu to the inside joke though. It was rather fitting that the Hokage and the Raikage were here with time to speak first. While they'd speak, Musashi would do his best to keep from falling off. Apparently Ayumu really didn't like the latest "Kage" fashion trend and was just as soon to ignore it than embrace it for the wonderful thing that it was.
