A bird from Leaf would appear, waiting to deliver its letter. The messenger hawk would glare at anyone who approach almost as if it was looking for someone.

How goes your little trip? Are things going ok? Takeshi is asking if you have an expected time to come back to Leaf. Will you be returning to Leaf or will you meet us in Cloud? Will you be staying out and about a little longer or will you be returning shortly?

He’d been given notice of a bird native to his homeland appearing at the gates, and naturally figured the thing was a messenger bird meant for him. As Maki takes the letter from it, the animal squawked at him and began pecking at his shoe. Maki absent mindedly tosses a piece of bread at it, making the thing rather happy as he reads the note, his face showing confusion.



‘Meet them in Cloud? The hell are they going to Cloud for? And who is running Leaf without them there? Takeshi and Nagisa….and I don’t see Yukio letting them go alone. I need to get back. Damn.’



Maki burns the letter with a thought and shoos the bird off without a return message. He had to pack.
