Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Midori let out a long yawn revealing her razor sharp fangs, blinking a few times before pushing open the lid of her coffin seeing that it was still daylight in her dimly lit ruin just around the ancient forest. Midori gripped the edges of her coffin to slowly pull herself up, her elbows feeling stiff from her nap as they made a quick cracking noise which made them feel kinda better. Midori reached for her glasses that sat on her nightstand, putting them on her face then pulled on a little lever on her coffin so the side of the coffin would lay flat similar to how a trunk of a pick-up truck lays when picking up groceries. The vampire then moved her legs to the edge of the coffin as she attempted to roll herself out of it, once her feet touched the ground she stood up to her full height of 6'3. She hopped her way towards her schedule, taking it off the wall and removing the spider webs to see that she was scheduled to tutor a class today at noon. 'Vell, zis zounds like a lot of fun.' she thought to herself, rubbing her plump chin. 'Guess I schould make my toilet, zen head dovn to zee academy but not before I zup on zee chocolate.'

After age got dressed in her usual style with her plus sized Magua, long sleeve blue collared shirt, purple pants, a pair of gloves and a pair of boots. She drank like a shit ton of chocolate syrup from a gallon jug that she purchased from the Susukino District before heading out of her ruin but not before attaching a bell to her lower back and her flask full of chocolate syrup that she keeps at her side incase she gets hangary. Hopping her way from the ancient forest all the way to Aurora Eruditio with a large umbrella shielding her from the sun, Midori looked at her schedule seeing that the subject that she was supposed to be doing was supposed to be a.. fitness test. The undead akimchi erupted with maniacal laughter, with her noticeably heftier physique to tell a child to 100 pushups, situps and run the obstacle course was a bit ironic.

Midori hopping her way to the obstacle course, she looked around to see if her students (or students) were here already. 'Not here, all vell! 15 minudes und I get to ko get zomezing to eat.' Midori thought to herself as she waited, checking her watch to see that she was early. So while she waited, Midori thought about what's on the menu for lunch. The vampire was thinking about something with meat, maybe liver since it's the bloodiest looking thing out there besides a living animal. That's or she could go to the hospital so she could request a heart from a donor to process it into a nice burger with hints of spices, barriers and sauces. The very thought made her mouth salivate from it, especially when she thought of adding a little bit of chocolate to it.

This morning when Akahiko woke up he was quite nervous. Naturally this was because he had one of his first academy classes today. However this wouldn't be just any class for him. It was a fitness test. The most dreadful type of class he could imagine for him to endure. Especially so close to the beginning of his joining the school. After all, one of his main reasons of coming to the academy was to remedy his somewhat poor physical condition. He supposed he should be thankful for a course that would help him achieve that goal. Though part of him worried that such an intense class so soon might just kill him. He'd think of his sister, Akari, and how he needed to be strong to keep her safe. The thought allow him to steel himself and calm his nerves enough to press on with his morning.

Slipping his black and red jacket over his mesh shirt, he'd pause by the door of his room. Akahiko wondered if perhaps he should change his outfit in some way for the fitness test. He had already decided to leave his puppet and pouch as he wouldn't need either of them. Opening the door, he figured it would be fine to leave the rest of his outfit unchanged. His jacket had never been an issue for him before and he could always take it off if it became one. Now, ready to face the day, Akahiko began on his way to his class. There was still quite some time before noon, but he figured he could find something to do around the academy. He wasn't quite ready to practice anything by himself yet, but maybe he could find a place he could learn more about puppet taijutsu.

Time would pass and soon it was almost time for his class to begin. With only fifteen minutes left until his class, Akahiko proceeded to make his way to the obstacle course area where it was being held. Upon getting close to the area he'd do some light stretches to his best ability, hopeful it would help in his coming trial. With just around ten minutes to spare Akahiko would catch sight of his teacher and make his way to her. "My name is Akahiko. Otsuki Akahiko." He'd say to his teacher bowing at the waist and holding the position for a bit before resuming a normal posture. "I hope its all right that I'm a bit early." He'd continue, doing his best not to show his nerves.

Possibly at the other end of the spectrum to what Akahiko was feeling, Daisuke felt a rather easy sense of calm and normalcy to his waking moments in the early morning. The boy had woken at the first light of dawn, as he usually did, and went through the motions of his morning workout and other miscellaneous routines. It was simple habit at this point, something he did without thinking - if someone tried to talk to him, they would think he was still somewhat asleep by the short, vague answers he'd offer.

By the time the rest of Kumogakure was up and had began the daily bustle of life, Daisuke had finished his shower and washed the light sheen of sweat off himself. As had become his norm after he gained attention from the ANBU Corps, he pulled on the black clothing that had become the staple of his wardrobe. Simple black long bottoms, a sleeveless black top, and a black jacket lacking any embellishments past a hood and an optional face covering. It was a far cry from what he used to wear before becoming a valuable prospect, but his mom had obliged and helped him find clothing that would help in his (hopefully) post-Academy line of work.

He stretched a bit as he walked through his home. He stopped by the kitchen and uncovered a small plate of food his mother left for him the night previous; he now woke up and was out of the house hours before she was awake, so she had started to leave his breakfast for him at night. He quickly inhaled the food and washed it down with a glass of orange juice, then wiped his mouth as he let out a small burp of appreciation.

And with that, he was off. His hands flashed a few handseals and he let his chakra envelop his entire body in Active Camo. He stuck to back alleys and even rooftops here and there as he made his way to the Academy. He only had a single class for the day, and it was less a class and more a test - a fitness test. These sorts were perfect for him to perform because it allowed him to gauge his progress in training, and see if he made worthwhile strides to being an ANBU Op.

It did not take him much time to make it to the academy's obstacle course, a location he had spent a day or two every week at before. It had been a bit of time since he had come, and he felt a twinge of familiarity as he approached a tall woman and a younger boy. He walked over to the pair of them, behind the boy, silent as could be (and he could be pretty damned silent when he wanted to). There was a slightly mischievous glint in his eye as he tried to startle the boy with a 'sudden' appearance.

"Good morning. Yamada Daisuke, here for the fitness test," he said, rather loudly and rather close to the other boy as he bowed in the sensei's direction.

Minikui was always happy to attend classes even if they weren't exactly things she would be using as much as she would other things. She was after all one to usually keep a distance when in a fight but always made sure she was in peak shape at least, as well as she could. She got up and quickly took a shower and brushed her teeth and took care of all the hygienic things that were supposed to be taken care of on a day to day basis.

Once she was all showered she got dressed in her usual attire a blue dress that has subtle hints of a darker color in it. She had long flowing brown hair that paired with her greenish-blue eyes which always seemed to be seeking any information she could obtain from any source anywhere no matter what the situation. To pair with her dress she had long black lace type socks that came up her thighs.

Her skin was rather pale and you could see a hint of a blue tone on it if you paid close enough attention. One big factor about her skin though was more so the feeling you would get upon touching her skin. Her skin was always much colder to the touch than most people due to her Yuki Bloodline and if one was to touch her they might think she is always freezing when in reality it was quite the opposite and she was almost never cold at all especially with how adept she was with the use of Ice in the many various ways she had found use for it.

Having classes was almost always her favorite time because she loved learning things however, this was more of a fitness test and she wasn't nearly as excited as if it had been an actual class. Still happy to meet new people and hopefully someone to mentor her as she had yet to find someone to mentor her even with how outgoing she was.

Due to her home life and how it had been before she joined the academy she made it a point to always be exceptionally early sometimes even earlier than the teacher themselves however this time she had been running a little late and the teacher got their first. Watching from the distance and studying the other two boys as they showed up she realized unsurprisingly that she was the only girl here for the test which didn't bother her at all only let her test her own skills against those of her peers.

As she leaned against the tree watching to see the reaction of the other two boys she stared intently at the teacher and her body wondering about her as she had never met her before. She called out from the nearby tree introducing herself. "Hello everyone. My name is Minikui and it is so nice to meet you all. Most people call me Mini because of my rather small physique so feel free to call me that if you wish." With that being said she approached the teacher and both the boys with a large and welcoming smile her elegant brown hair flowing behind her as the wind picked up and she continued on until she was directly in front of the teacher where she bowed politely before bowing to the other two as well giving everyone a smile and a firm but gentle handshake.

[As a side note I have yet to update all my new jutsu and such in my profile and my new bloodline so please until i have finished updating that don't use that and rather ask me if you need to about anything same with her physical appearance although that is mostly the same]

It didn't take long for the jiangshi to be greeted by her first student, ten minutes early, which wasn't bad at all. Akahiko was a kind young boy, even going as far as to ask the vampire if it was alright that he came a little early. The jiangshi gave Akahiko a warm smile, revealing her razor sharp fang like canine that were long enough to touch her bottom lip. Midori clasped her hands together then spoke to the child and though she knew the common language well Midori had a strange accent that was all too fitting for someone of her condition. Being an undead bloodsucker and all. "Nay, little one. To pe early ics to–" she began before being intrupped by another, seemingly more experienced student who wanted to do this fitness exam. She could already feel that Daisuke is probably gonna give her a mean headache already just for causing such mischief against the poor nervous Akahiko. The vampire have Daisuke a mean 'Stop this nonsense' look before the last student finally came to the group to introduce themselves. A student who Midori could say was rather… unique looking. The young girl looked like a frost bitten corpse, kinda like the dreaded Yuki-Onna; a snow vampire who favors the liver of a person who is unfortunate enough to suffer from the cold. Midori being a Hopping-Vampire herself felt like that could be useful so she'll be extra kind to Mini.

"Velcome to my class, study freely und of your ovn vill." Midori began, starting with a little welcome before going into her introduction. "I am Mitori Fudotta und I'll be your guide through your fitness test. Zis test vill be difficult; but it is fundamental zat you go through zis process for zee glory of Kumogakure und Raiten." When Midori finished, she took off her hat to pull out a little lesson plan to see what they should do first. She squinted her eyes, the vampire read through the document and did a few valuations in her head. After she was sure her valuations were accurate, the jiangshi gave a few nods; the vampire placed the lesson plan back in her hat and placed the hat back on top of her head. "I'll zee to your comfort during zis exam und do vhat you can zo your country has the data... Arh ! Ve'll start vith running, go around the obstacle courze 50 times und zen come back to me for more instruczions." she stated, looking over at Minikui.

"You… Mini is it? You got a doctors excuze for dis exam zo you can zit dis one out if you visch or make zure zat zee boys don't slack off." Midori stated, pulling out of her sleeve a doctor's excuse that she planned to give to her most well behaved student because… why not?! After all when it came to this exam, she sucked at it and she always hated those kids who got an excuse because of health problems. At least she was giving it to a perfect little angel who seemed deserving of waver of the whole fitness exam. With her mind made up, Midori hopped a couple times to pass Minikui her excuse, give her a couple head pats and then hopped out of the way while yelling back at the two runners. "You two make your vay to zee track und begin! Bunischment is an extra 100 labs!" Midori yelled as she hopped her way to the shade, then folded her umbrella to watch Daisuke and Akahiko do their 50 laps while she tried to stay out of the wrenched sun.

Surprisingly the sight of Midori's fanged teeth didn't frighten Akahiko at all even with him being so prone to fear. Interestingly enough the teacher seemed much too nice to be scary. It certainly helped that her teeth were only being revealed by a smile and not a more terrifying expression. Put slightly at ease by his seemingly kind teacher, Akahiko would listen to her intently as she spoke. However, when he heard a voice right next to him he'd jump a bit. He'd turn his head to face the other newly arrived boy staring at him with a blank face. He hadn't even heard the boys approach as was quite shocked at his sudden appearance. Especially since the boy was rather close to him. How had the boy managed to sneak up on him so effectively as to get that close unnoticed?

It dawned on Akahiko then that the other boy, who looked to be his same age, must be quite an experienced student. Certainly, some people weren't just naturally so quiet. He must have been at the academy for at least some time to have been able to gain such skills in stealth. This revelation both surprised Akahiko and made him quite nervous. If he was right about the other boy that would mean he was about to take a fitness test with a student far above his skill level. Even worse than that, they were the same age but there was already such a difference between the two of them. He thought of how he would struggle through the test and how the other boy, Daisuke, probably wouldn't. It was quite a terrifying thought, but there was nothing Akahiko could do about it. He'd simply have to push on and do his best in the coming tasks.

Once again steeling his resolve, Akahiko would notice the third student from a distance. Though only thanks to the fact that she called out to the group from the tree she was next to. There wasn't any particular merit to his noticing her, but at least her arrival hadn't spooked him as Daisuke's had. The girl introduced herself and approached, bowing to everyone and shaking their hands. Akahiko was a bit taken aback by the sharp contrast between the girl's seemingly warm personality and the unusually cold feeling of her hand. Though he was admittedly a bit more focused on trying to determine the girl's skill level. Was she also more experienced than him, or perhaps she was closer to his level. It would certainly be nice if she was as inexperienced as he was, though he felt that wasn't likely.

Since everyone had arrived the teacher began speaking again. Akahiko did his best to listen instead of worrying though it was a bit of a struggle. Their teacher would introduce herself and then go on to explain the lesson. It was then revealed that they'd be starting out with fifty laps around the obstacle course. A daunting task for sure, especially for someone with little physical training. It appeared that the female student, Mini, had a doctor's note of some kind for the running exam. This was a bit of a relief to Akahiko as it meant he didn't have to worry about performing worse than her. Though he hoped she wouldn't pay too much attention to him from the sidelines.

With the instructions out of the way, it was time for the students to begin running their laps. Akahiko made his way over to the track and began running. He was immediately thankful for the fact that he had done some stretches beforehand as he had a lot of running ahead of him. Making his first lap around the track decided to focus on his own performance. Hopefully, in doing so he wouldn't notice how the other student was doing and therefore wouldn't have to worry about it. Upon making his second lap, he began to feel a bit hopeful that the exam wouldn't be too hard on him. He supposed that running was perhaps not the hardest of things to do. Even for someone who wasn't very strong physically. Still, though, he had forty-eight more laps ahead of him and didn't want to get his hopes up much.

Come his tenth lap most of that hope had faded. He wasn't even a quarter of the way done with the exam and was already a bit tired. There was somewhat of a pain in his side and his mouth was a bit dry. Wanting to do his best, Akahiko thought of his main motivation and the reason he was even at the academy, his sister. He had to get stronger for her so he could protect her if he ever needed to. Therefore he needed to finish his laps so that he could get stronger. Besides, he certainly didn't want to have to do the extra one hundred laps if he was already having trouble with the fifty. Having found his motivation again, he picked up his pace a bit. He had slowed down slightly a lap earlier but was now running with his initial speed again.

Upon finishing his thirtieth lap he was feeling much more tired and exhausted. The pain in his side had gotten worse and seemed to pulse with every breath he took. His mouth and throat were both quite dry and each heavy breath he took through his mouth caused them to burn slightly. He wanted to give up quite badly now. Mainly because he felt that he couldn't go much further. He wouldn't let himself do it though no matter how badly he wanted to. After all, he couldn't quit now not after he had just finished a bit more than half of his laps. If he quit not only would he be disappointing himself, but he'd likely be subjecting himself to the extra punishment laps. So even if he felt like finishing the fifty laps might kill him, he had to finish them because one hundred and fifty definitely would. So in order to do this, he began to play a bit of an imaginary game. He simply pretended he and his sister were playing tag and she was just a bit ahead of him. It didn't do all too much, but it did help distract his thoughts and keep him focused on his task.

Around his fortieth lap, his imaginary game seemed a lot more real to him. Being so tired from the laps and so focused on the fake game of tag, it was as if he could almost see her running ahead of him. Even sometimes hearing her voice call out to him with a laugh that he couldn't catch her. He was still in pain and by now his throat constantly burned from being so dry. However, he was also quite tired and quite distracted. So much so that he almost couldn't even feel his pain, or more so that it just didn't bother him anymore. This is not to say he was physically unaffected by his ailments though as his running speed and slowed significantly.

His last ten laps were also his longest thanks to the decline in how fast he was moving, but eventually, he would finish his fiftieth. Still quite a bit in his head, he'd almost begin running another lap before realizing he was finally finished. He'd come to a stop, bending over and placing his hands on his knees as he brought himself out of his trance. For a few seconds, he would rest there to catch his breath before slowly making his way back to the teacher. "I've finished my laps Midori Sensei." He'd say to her with a heavy breath. He was quite tired, but mostly just glad that he was finally done.

Daisuke responded to Midori-sensei's mean look with a childish, juvenile grin. Akihiko didn't seem to have been too spooked, and recovered fairly well. The boy looked the over boy up and down with a once-over. He seemed like any other new boy at the Academy, and thankfully not one of those snobbish prodigies. Daisuke would keep an eye on him during these fitness tests; he remembered how he, himself, had struggled with them when he was first getting started, how he had worked himself to exhaustion until he fainted and woke up hours later just to stumble home for more sleep. Akihiko was a bit more slender than Daisuke had been then, noticeably more slender now, after the more experienced lad had worked up more muscle and tone.

And then his attention was captured by the lass over by the tree, a girl he had never seen before. He would be a liar if he did not admit that he thought she was pretty, though the large, warm smile was quite the opposite to the dreadfully cold feel of her skin. It felt as if he shook hands with a block of ice, though his face nor his grasp betrayed that idea. Strangely, he did feel a twinge of jealousy; he bet that she could handle the intense colds of even Kumogakure's highest mountains, where Daisuke had to keep himself warm through chakra. He vaguely wondered if it also translated into a natural ward against the heat, and if she would be fine down in Sunagakure.

Regardless, he would release her hand from his firm grip and turn back to Midori-sensei, listening like a good student now that introductions were over and class had officially started. Fifty laps around the track... That would be easy enough, he would not even have to expend any chakra to aid him in this one. A simple endurance test that he himself had done on his own and smashed times before. Oh, how his progress caused pride to swell deep in his chest.

He looked at Mini as Midori-sensei had her sit it out for medical reasons. He was mildly curious what it could be, as endurance was a thing every shinobi had to train. He did not know many who were allowed to sit things out, but he would keep silent; it was none of his business. He stretched his legs as the older sensei hopped(what?) her way to the shade of a tree. Daisuke was quite flexible now and steady on one leg; he folded his leg up high against him, and then did the same with the other after a second as he watched the other boy begin his laps. He had a good pace.

After he had stretched, and Akihiko was on his second lap then, did Daisuke start. It was not a challenge to be punished, he just enjoyed a good stretch; he was loosey-goosey and ready to run. He started off at a rather quick speed, not quite a sprint for him, but damn near. His breath was even and came easy as he went, and his mind idly wandered as he ran. At one point, he found his head had turned down to look at his feet. Not because he was tired, but just because. He did not have to look where he went, as he knew the track almost by heart at this point. He could vividly remember how much he had sweat, and the few times he had vomitted, on this track. He knew he was ready to leave the Academy and begin his life as a shinobi, and the thought terrified him. He had put so much hard work at this place, had surpassed even the prodigies that annoyed him to the ends of the earth.

It did not take very long for him to finish his laps, and his breath was just as even as it had been when he started. He was relatively unphased by the run, though a bit more quiet now after the thoughts he had while he ran. He did not stop, however; no, instead he ran until he was next to Akihiko again, and slowed his pace down to match every step. He did not bother doing so silently, though he never said a word as he ran with the struggling boy. They were the same age, but Daisuke had started far earlier than he had, and had wished then there was someone to train alongside. So he ran with the other boy silently, going over fifty laps simply because he could, though he stopped counting after a while.

As the boy finished his fifty laps and walked off the track back to the sensei, Daisuke followed him, a newfound sense of respect. He had finished and not asked for help, didn't utter one complaint, and just finished his laps. Now, sneaky as can be again, Daisuke's hand flashed into a few handseals and his fingers softly pressed against Akihiko's side to deliver an Anesthetic Infusion, relieving the boy of any pain he felt from the physical exertion. A second set of handseals and a second touch, Daisuke's chakra flowed into Akihiko as he performed System Restoration to help remove some of his exhaustion. If only the ANBU Sennin, Miro, could see him now - he could perform medical ninjutsu with ease.

Daisuke said not a word as he moved a few feet away from Akihiko, and gave Midori-sensei a nod. "Aye, I have finished, too."

Minikui simply nodded to Mitori and noticed the first boys reaction to her rather cold skin her hair still blowing in the wind. The other boy however hadn't exactly taken any notice or had any type of reaction to her rather cold skin at all which in itself was a reaction. Her warm smile continued as she followed Mitori towards the tree that she hopped towards a sway in her hips as she approached the teacher. Her walking at a normal pace she caught up rather fast and leaned against the tree with her looking up at the much taller woman.

It was then that she took her eyes off and examined the rest of the obstacle course noticing all the little intricacies of it especially the track. She looked at all the little things that made it obvious that the track was used heavily and rather often. You could see little tracks of peoples feet from where they ran around and of course some nastier things such as vomit on the outskirts of the track where others have failed or simply had troubles completing the tasks at hand and their body required some form of release.

The first boy seemed to be doing well at first until he wasn't his pace slowed very rapidly and he seemed to be having a rather hard time with the test even though she couldn't imagine that it was to be the only test of the day. Especially since she was able to sit out with a doctors note. One which she wasn't aware she would have had but she would take it graciously and happily. She was in rather great shape and could most likely easily complete the task at hand having spent ample amount of time herself training cardio. She wasn't the best at it but she could handle herself rather well as most shiniboi could. She wouldn't be the fastest but she wouldn't be the slowest in these types of things either.

The second boy seemed rather fit and started much later than the other boy yet completed the laps almost in a blur. He was clearly one that trained a lot on his physical aspects but it made her curious what else he might train and do in his free time. As she watched him she half expected him to simply finish his laps and then come wait by the tree with both her and the teacher, Mitori, but instead he chose to continue doing laps with the struggling boy which she found to be rather nice. It didn't seem insincere either as he kept pace and wasn't doing anything that would suggest he was there to mock or make fun of him. Having watched enough of this she turned her gaze back towards the teacher.

With a soft voice she began to speak to her "Thank you for the note. I appreciate it, Miss Fudotta. If you don't mind my asking ma'am. Is there anything else I can do while they finish up? One of the boys seems to be struggling a bit while the other is already done. At least the one that is done doesn't seem to be mocking or making fun of the other boy." As she finished that sentence she looked back towards the boys and watched as they continued on the one struggling seeming to speed up a small bit and slow down almost as if his mind and body were fighting each other to keep the same pace. One wanting to go much faster than the other.

Once both the boys had finished and began walking back over towards them she noticed the handseals and while she didn't recognize exactly what they were for the chakra flowing from one boy to the other seemed harmless enough, helpful looking even. That brought a much larger smile to her face because she was always one to think that you ought to treat others the way you want to be treated. However, she didn't really have it in her to be mean to someone at this current moment.

That being one of her flaws she thought about a lot that if in a situation where it is life or death she would have to make the decision to hurt someone else just as her parents had done to her. The thought of it always knocked around in her head and she could never get over it. She couldn't imagine hurting another person but deep inside she knew there would come a time where she would have to and only time could tell if she would truly do it or simply give up. She hated giving up and always wanted to try her very best at everything she did. She was by no means a perfectionist. She did want however, to always try her best and to help others if she could hence her offer towards the teacher no matter how much it seemed like a move to suck up towards her and get on her good side. Though from their interaction thus far it seems like she has already gained that without doing anything.

Turning back towards the teacher she begin to speak softly again, "Miss Fudotta, if I may ask is there anything you specialize in or, rather, anything you specifically give and pay more attention to? For example Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu. I'm sure you have rather great capabilities in all of those three but what is your specialty specifically if I may inquire?" She was rather curious about this and loved to learn anything she could about others. She loved to learn a lot from others as well. "I only ask because I love to learn a lot of things from others. As you can probably tell and I stated before I am from the Yuki Bloodline so I am much more accustom to using ice ninjutsu than others. I am curious after these tests what you would suggest for me to continue on my training as I usually do my training alone. For as outgoing as I am I don't seem to be able to find a mentor that would be right for me and be able to help me in a better way than I could simply do on my own and I don't mean this as some snide comment."

Midori watched the two from the shade, making mental notes to herself to see just how they fared in this rather basic test. Akahiko had already out runned Daisuke who seemed more focused on doing stretches than actually running at the moment. The boy must be too confident or just a glutton for punishment for how long he spent just doing warmups instead of running. "ANYTIME NOW! GET TO ZEE RUNNING HALREADY!" she yelled at the child who seemed to be stalling. Luckily they began without her having to twist his arm, so now she could properly study the two properly. As expected Akahiko was the first to tire out first on their tenth lap. She would have guessed that he would be the first to exhaust himself since Akahiko didn't seem… as experienced as Daisuke who could already do C-Rank jutsu. Akahiko was just the average academy student from what it seems not that there was anything wrong with being in the norm.

As the jiangshi studied her students, Minikui asked if she could have anything to do which made Midori chuckle. "Ahh.. Vu academy schtudent's, alvays vanting to make themzelves uzeful. Madam Mini, how about you do any kind of training vu vant. Pleaze ask me questions vu can't if vu are curious und I'll help vu in anyvay I can." she offered the child as they made an important note about their classmate. When Midori looked back she noticed that Daisuke wasn't really the mischievous brat that the jiangshi thought he was. Nay. He was actually running next to his struggling classmate, even going over the 50 laps just to stalk in behind Akahiko (a little creepy) but nonetheless she believed that she may have misjudged him…. mostly. When they both made their way back to she clasped her hands together to congratulate the two.

"Excellent, you've completed zee first bart of zee Hexaminazion. Zince you came early I schall not brolong zee nooze und vill give vu zee next bart Himmediadely." the vampire said slowly while she tried to think of the right number of push-ups they were supposed to do. "100 buschups zounds like fun, yes? Yessss, 100 is more zan enough. Do zem! Hurry and do zem!" she hurried them while also giving herself a little pat on the back for giving such a reasonable number. One hundred pushups seemed pretty easy for any fit shinobi, not really her since excorise wasn't her thing but if she did 100 pushups would be easy! When Midori gave Daisuke and Akahiko; Minikui seemed to want to know a little about her which for some reason made the jiangshi a bit excited. After all she loves to do a little about herself to other people since… no one really asks.

"I'm glad vu asked my little scheep. As an undead one zing ve love to do is talk apout ourselves und brag apout our powers gifted to us py our ancestors." Midori stated before explaining to the child her style of combat. "Now let's zee. Zee zings I bay attention to zee most are Ninjutsu und Taijutsu! Zhanks to zee vampyre blood I'm gifted, I can uze zem both through the power uv… stretching." with a pause for dramatic effect as she held both her arms up to demonstrate the power which enhances her akimichi capabilities which was… simply stretching. Midori's hands extended a few yards upward then they bent and coiled around each other as though her arms were made of elastic. When the child began again, they seemed to be in need of a mentor which was something that she wouldn't mind. Plus she was familiar with ice ninjutsu which was a bonus for her as well. "Hmph! If a mentor is vat vu need you've come to zee right perzon. Vell zince your bloodline is Ninjutsu baze, Ninjutsu training vould be much better zuided for you. Focus on learning vater (water) und vind (wind) Ninjutsu zo you can zen uze zem for your Ice Ninjutsu. Berhaps mastering one jutsu from vind (wind) und vater (water) veekly could be your homevork, no?"

As he listened to the teacher he'd internally sigh with relief. The next exam they would have to do was one hundred pushups. While this wouldn't necessarily be easy, Akahiko knew from experience that they were one of the easier exercises for him. He wasn't quite sure what the reason for that was but at least knew it was true. Being tired, though noticeably not as much as before, he was just glad that perhaps the next text would be easier for him. One hundred seemed like a large number for him to do, but certainly, it couldn't be that bad. After all, Akahiko had already surprised himself by finishing the fifty laps of running.

Initially after finishing his running Akahiko had been quite tired and had quite a pain in his side. Though as he had walked back to the Midori and Mini he had started to feel quite a bit better. His pain seemed to fade and he felt significantly less tired. At the time he had been quite tired and hadn't really given it much thought. Though now as he was getting ready to start doing pushups, he was beginning to wonder about it. It seemed a bit strange that he was feeling so much better so suddenly. He wondered if maybe it was because of some working of the body that he didn't know about, but part of him also questioned if maybe it was someone else's doing. Akahiko knew that more skilled shinobi were capable of techniques that could heal and restore the body. While he hadn't noticed anyone do anything to him, he remembered that he also didn't notice Daisuke sneaking up on him earlier. Either way, he was feeling better, and since nobody claimed to have healed him it wasn't like he could thank them anyways.

Unsure if there was somewhere he should go to do his pushups, Akahiko would get started on his pushups where he was standing. If nobody told him to go elsewhere he would continue on doing them. Had someone said something he would instead relocate himself before starting. Either way, after having actually gotten started, he was glad to feel that pushups were indeed not all that hard for him. Working at a reasonable pace he was able to get to ten rather quickly. He pressed on and was eventually able to get to thirty. Here he was beginning to feel more tired again. Though he didn't experience much of any pain, likely due to the lingering effect of anesthetic infusion. Upon reaching fifty, he noted that he wasn't feeling that much worse than he had been before. His pace had slowed down a bit but miraculously he still wasn't feeling all that terrible. Around his seventieth pushup, the pain in his side came back again. It wasn't quite as bad as it had been when he finished running, but was definitely there. His arms, however, were aching worse than his sides and made it a bit hard to push on. Coming to his ninetieth pushup, his pace had slowed significantly and every push was a struggle. He kept going though and after a bit of time, he finished his last push-up with a small grunt.

Physical exercise it seemed was as much of a mental workout as it was for his muscles. At least during the exam, it was quite a bit. Both of his exams so far had caused him to feel some pain from the intensity of the work. Naturally, the pain made him want to quit and it required all of his will to push through it. Luckily if Akahiko could be called anything, determined would be the best choice of words. When it came to all of his academy work he also had the greatest motivation he could think of, his family. He found himself having to constantly remind himself of this during his workouts, but ultimately thanks to them he had been able to persevere.

Having finished his pushups Akahiko would stay on the ground for a second holding the position as if he were going to do more. Though actually, he was just catching his breath a bit and after a few seconds, he would stand again. Then he would move back towards the teacher and the other students, though only if he had moved. "I've finished my pushups Sensei." He'd say to the teacher, obviously a bit winded from the workout. He was quite tired but also very glad that he had finished the exercises. He wondered what would come next and if he would be able to finish them completely as he had the others. Certainly, his body was beginning to reach its limits on just how much physical work it could do in one sitting. Though he was worried about the next test, he was also quite proud of himself for what he had accomplished thus far which helped calm him.

From what Daisuke could tell, his jutsus had worked for Akihiko, which was good; he felt pride in himself for such a sneaky administration of perfect healing jutsus. He felt like a bandit. But of stealing good feelings... Wait, no, he gave good feelings. But sneaky. So Robinhood and his Merry Men, though who the hell was Robinhood and why did he have Merry Men?

With a mental shrug from the insanity, Daisuke looked back at Midori-sensei as she gave them their next task. He felt as if she did not have much of a plan for them, but rather just a random assortment of fitness tasks. Not that Daisuke would complain, he enjoyed how he felt after exercise; it was just interesting. Regardless, he would follow Akihiko and drop to his hands on the ground, holding his hands closer together than for a normal push-up. Why, he had no reason; close-grip pushups were just his favorite variation, so that is what he did.

Contrary to how he had blown through the first task, however, he took his time with this one. He raised and lowered himself slowly, and focused on control and prolonged muscle exertion than speed. When he would get close to the ground, his stomach mere centimeters from touching the ground, he would hold the position for a second or so, before he went back up. In this way, it was more of a strength-gaining exercise than a simple test of muscle endurance.

He was still able to get through the hundred pushups, but he finished a few minutes after Akihiko, as he took so long with each individual push. He could feel the slightest burn in his arms and chest, but it was easily ignored as he got back to his feet and flashed a thumbsup.

Minikui smiled at the boys and listened as the next task was laid out for all of them. The doctor's note she assumed was for the entire test itself so she simply continued on leaning against the tree as the boys started almost immediately on their pushups. This time Daisuke was the one going slower which for this specific test would actually net more strength and confirmed her thoughts that he was rather physically fit to say the least.

When Miss Fudotta began to speak directly to her again she turned and gave her all the attention she could. "Well I suppose I am new to her and she might not expect much out of me yet. I didn't exactly express that I could already do Ice Ninjutsu just that I wanted to. I suppose a demonstration may be best here to help express how far I am at a loss of where to go next with my training or what might be best for me." All these thoughts ran through her head as she continues smiling and listening politely until she was finished speaking a small childish giggle escaping before she quickly straightened herself back out.

Rather than explain it with words she decided it be best to give a demonstration of her current skill level and stepped back away from the tree wondering exactly what she should show the teacher that would most closely represent her current skill level. She might be an academy student but she did know her way around a few ninjutsu and such.

Backing away again she made sure she gave herself ample room to prepare her demonstration and began to make some handseals a large smile on her face as she finished and Ice Shards began to appear in the air and split shooting to the right side of the tree where no one was staning and sticking deeply into the ground.

Next she made a few more handseals getting excited that she could show someone just how much she has trained on her own and how far she has gotten. The next thing you could hear was the sound of rushing water as she produced a Grand Waterfall which she aimed in the same spot as the previous technique making sure to aim a bit farther away however as this was a much larger type of ninjutsu than the previous one. Ending the jutsu before it could cause any damage to anything she smiled at the teacher and then at the boys.

She was feeling great demonstrating her mastery over all of these skills as she has mastered all of the Ice, Wind, and Water ninjutsu up to her current skill level. One final set of handseals were made summoning a Tempest which went in the same direction as the previous two jutsu. This whirlwind was rather large and she had to make sure to aim it in the same way she had the waterfall previously. Happy with her demonstration she ended this jutsu in the same fashion as the previous one as once again not to cause any damage to anything or anyone only there to demonstrate her mastery over these few skills. These weren't her only skills but they should be sufficient enough to allow for Miss Fudotta to more accurately judge her current skill level.

Happy with how she handled her demonstration she walked back over to where the the boys and leaned against the tree in the same fashion she had done previously both of them seeming to be done with their current task. Turning towards Miss Fudotta once more a bit happier than she seemed before she began to speak. "I already can do quite a few wind and water ninjutsu Miss Fudotta. I have quite a few of them mastered as well as the Ice Ninjutsu I can currently use as well. I do hope that my demonstration is more helpful for you to judge my skill level. If you don't mind me asking however and.. This might be a silly question but.. As you explained earlier your a vampire." Embarrased to continue she paused for a moment and looked around before leaning in closer and whispering the rest of her question to the teacher not wanting to seem ignorant or dull-witted to the other students. "Would being bitten by a vampire um.. turn you into one? Or is that not how that works and its more normal like say.. how humans are born? Or is it simply both of these things? I hope that the question doesn't offend you I am just really curious about your race and well.. I really like to learn about anything I can..." With that she simply moved back away a small bit back to her usual leaning position she had before a slight shade of pink covering her face as she looked back between the two boys and back to the teacher.

With the children following her instructions, Midori would now remove her hat to again look at the whole lesson plan that she had. Only this time, she actually took out the notes but not before pulling out a clipboard and a pen from the hat that seemingly had a strange storage compartment hidden on the inside of it as though the hat itself was a substitute for a sealing scroll. Midori began to use the back of the clipboard to jot down notes on the performance of the two children who had participated in her fitness exam, giving them each points based on their performances during each standard exercise that she made them do. The vampire adjusting her glasses, Midori began to grade the performances of each student before she suddenly had to look up when the jiangshi suddenly felt a slight chill in the air. "Vhat thee devil?–" she stated before Minikui shot a volley of ice shards to the right side of where she stood, all aimed at the ground.

Midori hopped a few feet away to give Minikui some space, while at the same time making sure that she wasn't so far away from the shade. Minikui continued her practice of the ninjutsu that Midori had told the young academy student to practice, summoning powerful waves which crashed into the and a large whirlwind in which caused a certain portion of the leaves to fall away to join into the whirlwinds. Midori hissed at the sunlight starting to peak through her shaded tree and once the whirlwind was over the vampire had quickly opened up her umbrella then threw it over her shoulder. Note to zelf... Ven giffing a child homevork, make zure zey get thee boint zat it's only for home.' making that mental point when Minikui's demonstration was over. But even then she couldn't deny that the child was a lot tougher than even she figured, who would've thought that the little academy student was capable of using C-Rank Ninjutsu. Midori didn't even think the child even knew any Ninjutsu, much knew anything about C-Rank.

Midori tucked her clipboard underneath her armpit so she could clap for a trio, the applause a bit awkward since just slapping her free hand on her fist that held the umbrella over her head. "Braffo! You've all exceeded mein exbectazions und even proved my initial zoughts about you falze. Raiden und our country smiles ubon zee progress of our new generazion. You all schould be proud for vhat vu did here today und I am looking forvard to zee thee progress of how all ov you deffelop in your careers." she rewarded her students with another warm smile and would hug them if she wasn't afraid of getting sunburn. Nonetheless Minikui seemed more happier as well after showing off her powers, such a curious youth. Nay. No question is zilly little one, vu are young und haffn't yet to experience zee vorld at its fullness. Ask your question." she encouraged the child.

This question was a tough one since Minikui seemed to want to know how people turn. Midori expected this question to come up sooner or later since people these days tend to… make the turning process more romantic than what it seems. "Vell you zee I vas boizoned by a frog und vas brought back toh life by an undead necromancer. Zat's how I become zee vampyre but zere are all zorts of vays to make zomeone undead. Midori explained, thinking what her mentor told her about being turned. "Biting is one vay vich vould act zimilarly like zee curze zeal. Being brought back to life through unholy riduals is anozer vay. Honestly zere's zo many vays to make one, even I could do it— Zough.... It'll require me devouring zomeone's heart but if I do zat they'll chust be a mindless puppet but can alvays try transblanting one of my heart's into zee pody through zurgery; organ transblants are anozer vay to become zee vampyre asvell! Zo many vays, too many toh explain but I hobe zat quells a little of your curiozity."

After she explained to Minikui the turning process, the jiangshi now opening up the floor for any more questions since she already had what she needed before heading back to her office so she decided to start wrapping things up. AC and chocolate drawer here she comes. "How apout you guys, any more queztion becauze I must debart zoon."

As he watched Minikui display her last ninjutsu, Akahiko would lift a hand to his chest. Feeling his heart beating hard in his chest made him wonder if he could handle another test. His muscles were quite tired as well and his lungs ached a bit from breathing so hard. He figured he’d barely be able to handle the walk back home. Though he planned on resting a bit before he made the trek if he could. Still, the thought that he might have to do more exercise was worrisome.

After Midori began speaking again his stresses were alleviated. From what she was saying it seemed that they were done with the fitness test. He’d quietly sigh with relief as the teacher moved on to answer the female student’s question. Apparently their teacher was a vampire which, Akahiko supposed, made sense given her physical traits. Midori explained the many ways in which one could become a vampire. It surprised Akahiko that there were so many ways and made him wonder how often people got turned into vampires.

After she answered the student’s question, the teacher asked if anyone else had questions. At first Akahiko couldn’t think of any questions. Of course he was a bit too tired of think of hardly anything. Though after a few seconds he’d think of something. “Do you know anyone who could teach me about puppet taijutsu?” He would ask her. Being so new to the academy, he hadn’t had much of a chance to find someone to teach him. So he figured this would be a good opportunity to find out who could teach him what he wanted to learn.

Daisuke watched idly as Minikui unleashed a few solid C-Rank Jutsu. The waterfall was familiar enough, he knew it himself, but the rain of ice shards... Well, he had never even attempted to use Ice Ninjutsu before, so he was quite impressed with it. He lightly considered the fact that he could ask Minikui for pointers on Ice Ninjutsu, before he shrugged it off; Ice, while nIce, nIce, baby, was a bit too flashy for the lad. He was quite happy with his proficiency in Shadow Ninjutsu, and would have shown off a bit of it, if asked; but he kept it to himself, as he was not and he would not volunteer that information.

He shook his head as he was asked if he had a question before the class was concluded. No, he did not have a question for the vampiress, though he did idly wonder if she could sense him through anything besides sight. Did vampires have an enhanced sense of smell?

Minikui smiles and nods as it is explained how one might become a vampire. That alone gets her heart racing and her mind racing as well thinking of all the things vampires can and can't do. She has so many more questions for the vampire but instead she holds them back for another time as she seems she has places to go an doesn't want to ruin the others chances to ask any of the questions they might have. As it s3eems they are all ready to depart or getting to that point she simply bows to everyone there individually and then leans back against the tree making sure to steady her gaze between the two boys and then back at the teacher which she was absolutely fascinated by. "It was very nice to meet you all and I'm happy to help anyone here with anything they might need in the future. I love helping others and learning about them and from them as much as possible so don't be afraid to reach out for help even if its just for a quick chat I'm usually free if i'm not out on my own training!!!~" She exclaimed this with a lot of enthusiasm as the wind picked up around her swaying her long brown hair back and forth and ruffling the edges of her dress pushing them in sync with her hair.

Now that Minikui's thirst to know about her seemed to be satisfied or at least seemed satisfied, all that was left was to deal with Akahiko's question which actually interested her. Puppet Taijutsu was a range Taijutsu and when it comes to fighting long-distance Midori, needless to say, was good with utilizing range taijutsu. "Friend Akahiko, puppetry vether it be bringing zem to life or utilizing zem in compat just zo habens to be one of my– many skills. Bleh-Bleh-Bleh." chuckled the chubby jiangshi before giving a casual shrug after thinking of some of the other shinobi's who could maybe help with the child's skills in puppet taijutsu. "Bezides myself zere is zee Raikage vho has made blenty of artificial schinopi uzing her skills in zee engineering but... Ehhh sche's a bit buzy doing her Raikage zings. I invited vu to zeek me out here at dusk! I'm alvays hopping around during zee dark hours, my dear boy." she laughed again.

With that her future pupil Minikui ended things with a proper good-bye, such a sweet kid that one was. Midori would be more than happy to take the child under her wing since caring is what's needed in the medical branch, after all it'll bring more life into the place that seems more deader than she was.. if deader was even an actual word. Plus she also might lure Akahiko in too and if not there's always a suggestion? "Vell if zere are nay more queszions, you are all dismized und I no longer vill hold you against your vill. Zank you kindly for barticipating in zis exam und I look forvard to zeeing you all again in zee future. Pleaze take care of yourzelffes und vizit my office dovn at zee hosbital if you need any furzer assistance for today." she concluded but not before looking at Daisuke before waving goodbye to him too. With that she hopped away, jumping from the obstacle course to the exit thinking to herself just how easy instructing that class had been. This calls for some chocolate crunch ice cream, yup, better get some before she gets hangery!

As everyone geared up to leave their teacher would answer Akahiko's question. She recommended both herself and the Raikage as potential teachers for him. Given the status of the Raikage and, as Midori stated, how busy he was Akahiko figured he'd likely find himself being taught by the vampire again in the future. It seemed that he was the only one with a question so after it was answered the students were all dismissed. The female student, Minikui said goodbye to everyone with a bow and Akahiko would return the favor. "Goodbye." He would say to all of them after having also bowed to each person. With no reason left to stay, he would then begin on his way to go home as he had no other classes that day. Though of course being as tired as he was Akahiko was planning on taking a short break before actually heading home. However he wasn't planning on resting at the training grounds so he was off and on his way to find a nice quiet place to rest.

Daisuke was somewhat slightly sad that there was not more to do in terms of fitness tests. He wanted to a do a bit more; either to show off a bit or just simply work out a little more, he would not reveal. But he stayed quiet and listened as Futotta-sensei spoke with the other students about different types of jutsu and mentoring. The only reason why he did not ask anything about his jutsu or about mentoring, himself, was because he did already have a mentor of sorts in Miro-sensei, though she had less time for him and he would likely be pawned off to other, less ANBU shinobi.

He did listen somewhat closely to what she spoke to the other students about, as he held a mild curiosity for anything Ninjutsu. Puppet Jutsu, though... It was not quite a common discipline in Cloud, but it could be quite good, from what Daisuke had heard and learned from the Academy. It was hard, though, and took a fine level of control that not many shinobi had... He hoped that that Akihiko would do well with it, so that he could see it in action with one of his peers.

As Futotta-sensei finished and answered all of the other two student's other questions, she dismissed the lot of them. He gave her a bow and waved in response with a small smile, and watched as she walked-- err, hopped away. He looked at the other two students, before he gave them a smaller bow in turn, before he gave them a singular wink before his hands flashed into seals.... And with a roar, a large Ebony Nightmare, pulled itself from the shadows. Daisuke climbed atop the inky black dragon-like creature and waved, before it took off into the sky.
