Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Defensive Technique -
E-Rank Required

After getting settled into her new home in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Karasu was admitted into the Leaf Academy. She had always wanted to be shinobi like her mother and father were before they met each other. Karasu knew she was the reason why they didn’t continue. She was starting to get sad thinking of her mother who passed away when she was four years old. Karasu shook her head trying to forget that event that changed her life drastically. He focused renewed on what she was going to do. She went to the training area and saw some students working on techniques. Karasu found a spot where she was alone and started practicing defensive techniques. She was moving like a shadow trying to mimic a battle in her head. Her foot work was not bad but she needed to make sure she was able to make the right pivot or turn once her pretend challenger made their move. Though she was small she was very quick and was able to fend off her opponent. It was definitely a harder workout than she actually expected. She let the movement of her defensive technique linger in her mind as she tried to pinpoint any mistakes she may have made. Karasu was obsessed in her habit of trying to be perfect. She didn’t have many friends so she felt she had to do more than she should because she was new to the village. She felt she had something to prove. At the end of the day she worked off a good sweat. Karasu who was out of breath from the training was feeling confident which is something that is rare for her.

Hidden Power - E-Rank
Another week has gone by living in the Leaf Village. It felt good to finally have a home. She helped her father around the house. He was still getting used to the crutches and when he tired he ended up in his wheelchair. Karasu knew he didn’t like that but it was an option he tried not to use as much as he could. Karasu kissed her father and said “I’m going out to train now dad. I don’t know when i will get back. Probably late, so if you can leave some dinner in the fridge I will eat it when I get back.” she smiled at him before she walked out of the house. She arrived at the training grounds and looked around to see where she wanted to start.

Karasu had her sword that her father had made for her. It was something that she treasured. There was a purple gem that belonged to her mother on the hilt. She unsheathed it and started to train with very different types of techniques. One technique was her using a dynamic slash against a dummy. She tried her best to do precise strikes at it. Another technique she used an overhead strike toward the dummy which had a slashing style. Each technique allowed her to keep focus on her grip hoping that if she was ever in a real battle she wouldn't be disarmed. Karasu finished up her training with the sword and wanted to focus next on a technique she hoped would work. It was a storm bolt technique which she had to conjure some lightning in her fingertips and aim it at a target. She used the dummy for this time. When she did it was still not to her liking but she knew it would take a lot of practice to get it right. It took several attempts before anything actually happened. She was able to shoot lightning at the dummy but she felt the power was not strong enough just yet to make a true difference in battle. That will come in time.

She felt her chakra was low from all her training, but something was different. It was as if she got more energy than she had before. She didn’t know where it came from or how it came to be. It felt good to her and she knew she could continue with her training. She did several more attempts and though she had failed at times she had some success. She didn’t give up because the power inside her was still there. It was some hidden power that baffled her but it also gave her encouragement. She felt stronger as if she could last much longer than previously. She was amazed at how she felt and knew she could use this feeling to her advantage.

Santaru Bloodline: Rank 1 - Storm Manipulation - PL 84
Karasu remembered when she was little that her mother was trying to teach her some techniques from the Sataru bloodline that both of them had. Of course she wasn’t able to do much at the tender age of four. That was then. Karasu wanted to train her bloodline ability. She found some boulders she felt would actually be ideal to train with. She reached down inside her trying to conjure the storm manipulation technique within her. It took several tries before anything really happened then finally something was different than her previous attempts. She could feel her body temperature warm up as power started to flow through her. She could feel it coursing through her entire body. She never felt like this but she assumed her other training allowed her to have the stamina and chakra control to be able to do the storm manipulation. It was tingling at her fingertips. She looked at the boulders and aimed her hands. Her blue eyes brightened with an electric neon glow as her white hair started to stand up. The electricity in her hands shot out in a big burst and hit the boulders.

It left a small crack in one of the boulders as her body was calming down from the storm manipulation. It took a lot out of her just to do that. But it was a start and she knew she had to relax a bit to recover her chakra. She smiled thinking that if her mother would have seen her, she hoped she would have been proud. She was her mother’s daughter after all. Karasu wanted to try once more knowing her chakra was still down but it was like she had this hidden power inside her that could generate more out of her than she possibly knew. She attempted again and just like the previous time she was able to perform the storm manipulation again. This time however she doubted she could go again. It was late and she knew she had to get back home. She walked tiredly back to her home and all her thoughts were of just wanting to sleep. She even forgot about dinner.

Strategist - E-Rank

Karasu was with her father in their home. She loved spending time with him. She was happy that so far there has been no one problems with any of the village civilians about them. The Leaf Village was a strange place. They seem oddly nice but Karasu it just felt like there was going to be some sort of trap or a change of heart among the people. It is what she was used to in other villages that she and her father had lived in. She wasn’t going to worry about it now. Today she was going to play shogi with her father. The board was out on the table with the pieces laid out in their respected positions. Karasu had the black pieces while her father had the white.

Karasu took shogi seriously. It was like in her mind she could see certain moves several steps ahead before a move was made. She was always thinking about what she could do to try and defeat her father. He usually pushed her to her limit but for it brought out a competitive side to her that she really wasn’t aware of. She had to win and she had to find a strategy that he didn’t expect. She would move her pieces in for the kill. “Checkmate!” she yelled out to her father while smiling enthusiastically. He would smile back then have a big conversation on how she could use her ability with shogi as a ninja. Karasu would listen to him and take it all in. She never thought of it that way to use it in battle. She understood that it was similar and that thinking what to do in advance for the best strategy for her and her teammates would be an advantage if she ended up in a battle. She smiled at her dad learning a great lesson from him. Now that the game was over and they were done talking she hoped someday soon she could try and use her strategist technique in a fight.

Karasu was looking in the mirror feeling good about herself for a long time. It was early in the morning but she knew her father would be up making breakfast. She got dressed and combed her long white hair several times to make sure she got all the tangles out. She headed for the kitchen where she saw her father already sitting down eating. Karasu grabbed a plate and piled only a small bit of food. She didn’t want to get full. She just needed enough for some energy before she went to start to train. The food was delicious of course but now she needed to go. She washed her dish and kissed her father goodbye, before running out of the house. She was almost skipping to the training area. Turns out the Leaf Village was so far very different from the other villages she had been. The people were actually nice. Feeling like she maybe finally found a home that she could actually stay at.

She arrived at the training which was perfect for the training she was going to do. There were trees all around and no one in sight. She wanted to be alone to train. She still felt that this was better for her than to train in groups right now. She got into a stance then focused her mind and chakra so that she could conjure some mist which was a water based jutu. As she built up chakra she could feel throughout her body that it was time to release it. She opened her mouth and inhaled a breath of air then exhaled it out toward the trees in front of her. Only a small amount of mist appeared which made Karasu a bit disappointed. It was only her first try so she tried it again. She focused harder and repeated the same steps as before. Again she failed. She tried to think on how she could do the jutsu better. What was she doing wrong. After a while she tried the jutsu again. This time it actually worked. She may have over just needed to keep trying because practice makes perfect. The mist was all around her and she could feel though it was not a long ranging jutsu. She was glad she was able to do it.

The next jutsu would be a bit harder, she figured. It was water based as well. It was considered a water gun type of jutsu. Karasu wanted to see if she could do it. This time she got in a different type stance. Her feet were more spread apart and her palms were out. She once again focused on her chakra as she could feel the chakra rising inside her body. She concentrated on a more specific area for the chakra to flow to, the palm of her hands. She didn’t do it right away. She wanted the jutsu to be more effective by building as much chakra as she could, like filling a cup. She felt satisfied that now was the time to aim for a target. She could feel the pressure in her palm. She looked around and saw branches on trees and thought that would be a good place to test it. Karasu released the water and watched it stream toward the branches making them bend back from all the water pressure. She smiled at her successful attempt and continued a few more times before deciding on doing something else.

The next jutsu is something that is a requirement to learn to pass the academy exams. The transformation jutsu. She saw the sensei do it in class and he told the class to practice it. She finally found the time to do so. Now before she starts she needs to find someone to transform into. Who could it be? Maybe the sensei but that was too common. Maybe she should transform into the one of the village shop owners. They wouldn’t know the difference. She put her fingers together and formed the dog then the boar then the ram. “Transform!” She looked down and realized she was taller. Plus her clothes were different and her voice changed. She must have done it. She laughed as she felt she got that technique down. Only one more and she would be done for the day. The last jutsu to train on was even more difficult and also one of the academy lessons. It was the body switch. This took a lot of focus on and multi tasking. She had to switch her body with something else that could replace her while she is able to hide away. Not an easy task. Karasu got an object in her head of what she wanted to switch with. Now it was time to focus. Karasu tried a few times, not able to switch her body at all. It seemed that she was able to get the kawarmi which for her was a log in place, but she was unable to hide herself successfully. So it took many attempts before she finally was able to get it right. She continued to train until she felt that she got it down. It was getting late. She didn’t realize she was training all night again. She stopped and headed home tired and hungry. This was becoming a routine for her.

Karasu was in a good mood. She took her shower and got dressed before leaving her house to go to the training area. She thought about all the different things she wanted to work on. When she arrived she had her mind set on exactly what she wanted to start on. First she did some stretches to loosen herself up. Then she started to do several backward flips in various directions to get her comfortable in being as flexible as she could be. It was an acrobatic style that she liked.

She tucked in her arms as she twisted in the air then landed back to the ground. Karasu then ran toward a tree and jumped as high as she could, leading with her feet. Once her feet touched the tree she bounced off it so quickly doing a twist and flip toward another direction. Karasu somersaulted around several times before doing a graceful and quite difficult landing. She kept challenging herself to be more accurate and more unpredictable that way if she was ever in a battle no one could read her moves. Making sure she paced herself accordingly Karasu continued to do her acrobatic flips and turns as well as handstands and cartwheels. In her mind she felt that if she was always moving she would be a harder target to get too. She was being as precise as she could get with how her movement was. Doing as many difficult styles as she could thinking ahead of what she may encounter in the future.

Combo Master - D-Rank
Karasu was not done yet. She had more in her tank as she went on to switch up her moves. She did her acrobatic style now she wanted to train in more combo styles. This will give her more options on how to use her skills in a battle. Karasu reached behind her back for her sword. She named her sword The Blind Justice. It was a tribute to her mother who Karasu dearly missed. The purple gem in the hilt was from her mother. The sword was made by her father who was a weapons specialist from the Sand Village. Karasu was happy that her sword had a part of both her parents. She will wield it in a blind justice for all that her family has suffered. Karasu swung it at invisible targets using her speed and quickness as well as her flexibility. She continued on with various moves trying to keep her invisible opponent off track. She was getting better and stronger and she could feel it in her body.
