Physical Description: Satomi is tall for her age, standing at 138.4 cm, but is rather lean, at 33 kg. She has dark brown hair and a slight tan. She is usually seen wearing a green shirt and dark brown pants. Her hair is usually in a loose ponytail. Her most notable feature, however, are her large, bright green eyes, which are fairly unusual for a Nara.
Mental Description: Satomi is incredibly inquisitive, and is usually seen with a book nearby on a relatively obscure topic. She tends to be aloof upon first meeting someone, but if someone happens to mention a topic she's currently interested in, it can be very difficult to get her to stop talking. She is fairly protective of those she considers friends, as most Nara tend to be. She can be fairly argumentative, however, and routinely has friendly debates with friends and family on any and all subjects she is knowledgeable about.
History: Born as the second child of the current Nara clan head, Nara Shinju, Satomi had no real expectation of being the clan head. She had a fairly average childhood, at least for the child of two ninja, one of them a clan head. As soon as it was determined she could read, she was allowed access to one of the Nara libraries, and became enthralled with, what seemed to her, a vast store of knowledge, and made it her mission in life to be as well-read as possible, so as to aid her clan in that regard. She learned manners, logic, and tactics starting at seven, as is standard for the Nara clan. She has recently joined the academy, and has maintained good grades so far. One of the only friends she has made so far is an ally of her clan, Yamanaka Eichi, who she met at an organized playdate through their clans. Despite her best efforts, her older brother Shin remains cold to her, for reasons she doesn't understand.
