Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Today was a day that Maikeru had never expected to happen, not in a million years. Ayumu had always been such a strong and wise Raikage, it had seemed like no one would ever depose him. However, with his disappearance, a new leader had to be chosen. Who would have thought it to be him though? Dressed in the white ceremonial robes of the office, he stood in the hall outside of his new workplace, breath catching in his throat. To say he was nervous was an understatement, he now had a whole village to run, thousands of people who would rely on him every day. He had never had a panic attack before, but he was sure he met the symptoms. Closing his eyes, he took a step forward, opening the door to his new abode.

Crossing the room, and looking to his new desk, he saw a strange file on it. Opening the contents with his one good arm and reading through them a smile leaked onto his face through the stress.

"Oh you little shit, so this is where you've been hiding." He said, almost laughing with to himself.

He stood there for a few moments, simply taking in the moment, before he was interrupted by Ayumu's, or rather his, secretary. She stood in silence for a moment, a small, hopeful smile on her face. She held in her hand the hat that he had seen Ayumu wear so many times, and he had wished would one day be his. Apparently, wishes do come true.

"Lord Raikage, it's time." She said, nodding towards the roof where the coronation would take place.

"Right.." Maikeru said, swallowing at the spit gathering at the back of his mouth. "There's been a change of plans, however. Summon Musashi-san, he'll be the one to lead the ceremony. I'm lead to believe he has plenty of experience in that."

"Uh.." She said, a look of confusion evident on her face. "Right. Right away, lord Raikage."

As she left the room, Maikeru just stood there, still unable to believe what was happening. Well, he guessed there was only one way to go from here. Up.

[With Ayumu gone, Cloud Council has named Uchiha Maikeru as the new Raikage.]

"That moment when . . ."

Walking in with simple shinobi garb on, Musashi shook his head as he finally made his way to the new Raikage's office. Filled with mixed emotions and frankly a bit shocked at how things had apparently went down, the fact that Ayumu had disappeared wasn't as much a shock as it was that Maikeru of all people was the Raikage. Desperate times called for desperate measures but . . . an Uchiha? If this was a long con by the likes of Takeshi then bravo, Konoha had finally played a move that not even Musashi had anticipated. If for whatever reason this was just another ego tripping sharingan user, then Musashi was still very much in shape and very much willing to utterly destroy the remembrance of the former shinobi from Konoha, post haste. Summoned as he was, he'd be respectful, but the fact of the matter was that this situation was going to need a lot of explaining.

Well, explaining and perhaps a strong spirit but that would have to wait until after Musashi had determined the exact specifics of who, what, when, where and why. Knocking on the door, he waited to be let in and he mentally ticked off all the things that he had done for the day and that he'd yet to do. If this didn't last too long then he could pick up the children from the Academy but if it went on too long then he'd have to contact Rei and hope that things were all kosher for them all things considered. It was a bit of a bargain for time but not one that would overly prove to be an issue, he hoped. For now, he'd focus on the task at hand, namely, figuring out what in the heck was going on with the upper echelon of Kumo and especially if he'd need to once again, get his family and head for the high hills.

OOC: I don't see the banner yet but I'm going to assume that this summon was official.
