Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

...and if you could get a signature, that would be great!

The letter ended abruptly and without much more detail on who it was he was looking for aside from the musicianship. "Well that sure narrows things down..."

Hira scratched his head in confusion before looking around at the shops and boutiques in the surrounding area, imagining that if some fancy big-shot singer was going to be anywhere it would probably be here; night-life was in full swing as the lights shown bright and a crowd bustled around each restaurant, leaving no alley a safe refuge from the noise of partying. He wore his nicest kimono for the occasion, using the request as an opportunity to relax and enjoy the finery and view. After all, he had nothing to go on until sign of music arose.

Walking past the crowd Hira found a secluded spot away from most of the noise near a small fountain, taking comfort in the gentle flowing water that contrasted the aggressive screams and laughter emanating from every crevice of the plaza. Slowly, he stuck his hand in and found that he had an interesting idea, both for his own enjoyment and for his mission.

After all, if he couldn't find this pop star, maybe he could fish him out with a little bit of his own flashy technique. Focusing chakra into his hand, he lifted a small sphere of water from the fountain, it's glittering shine a beautiful reflection of the full moon high in the sky. It bent and twisted quickly with his guidance, starting off looking like what could easily have been mistaken for a snake; however, soon enough it would escalate in both size and detail, becoming a great serpent. In battle this could easily have been something he would use to harm his enemies, but for this night, it served as something much more special. The serpent would coil around the fountain, mouth agape as though poised to strike, and it would slowly freeze over, creating a glistening sculpture formed entirely of ice.

"Not my best work, but still damn good if I do say so myself." He muttered to himself, admiring his own work without having noticed the small crowd gather behind him.

[OOC: Entering with NPC Shizuka]

The night was still young, yet his friends were already getting into the mood. No big thanks to the scenery – the night life of flamboyant restaurants, bars, or even though open-air cafes with live-bands– but also perhaps because of the drinks. The raven-haired musician would only stare at his friends as he drank from his cold cocoa, golden eyes observing quite clearly the shapes and movements of the sound of their heartbeats as they closed in for a kiss, a peck and eventually a full-blown… “I’ll be back,” he said before the two lovebirds could even realize he was there. Times like this, he wondered if Anya and Ryo were even aware that he never drank those alcoholic drinks and that bringing him out like this was just a waste of time. Of course, it could also just be that they wanted him to experience life to the fullest.

Still, there were times when he loved the noise of life and then hated it. He liked how upstarting musicians would make use of this opportunity to find fame, and share their talents, from cozy Bossa nova to emotional balladeers. But tonight, there were simply too many people, too many minds, too many voices that it was almost chaotic to his sensitive ears. Not only did he have to listen to the sounds that were outright there, but the lingering emotions came along with their sounds were making different colors and shapes in his visions that it was just messy. So he had to leave.

But as promised, he would return, perhaps when the two had gotten their fill and were ready to call it a night. For now, however, Shizuka took to the backstreets. He listened at the waning sounds he could pick up with his sensitive ears, each step providing that distance and buffer. Each step came like a breather for him. Surprisingly, however, he began to hear a different kind of sound. A turn around the corner and he caught sight of someone by a remote fountain area, working along the waters. Shizuka could immediately see the movement of chakra as if he could pick up the tiniest sound that reverberated from the youth’s body. It was not so much that he was eavesdropping, since the youth, himself, wasn’t trying his best to be stealthy.

A brief but magnificent show, the water followed the command, shaped by the coursing chakra that exuded from the youth’s body. It swirled around the fountain before solidifying into ice. For what reason this was done, Shizuka didn’t know, but he could hear the sense of appreciation within the youth, and even the gathered crowd that witnessed the majestic display were in awe. A momentary loudness erupted in his ears as an applause came and murmurs and more noises. Shizuka merely closed his eyes and willed himself to block the noise as he turned to the side and found a bench he could sit on and rest.

He’d wait till the crowd were done, some moving on to look for the restaurants and other sounds, while a few remained to inspect the ice sculpture as if it were a tourist spot.

The crowd dissipated relatively quick as the appeal of the pseudo-show faded, but it wasn't a crowd he was after... though Hira couldn't deny, the feeling of others appreciating him for something other than fighting was a familiar he wasn't quite accustomed to, and it wasn't unwelcome. Still, as the rest of the patrons wandered back off to their seats of whatever restaurant or establishment called to them, he couldn't help but notice a man standing near the back of where the once-crowd was on a bench. Hira smiled at some of the children left staring in amazement before walking off with a quiet thanks.

He didn't know quite what enticed him to talking to this other man; perhaps it was the fact that he had isolated himself from the rest of the crowd yet still not left. If the show wasn't to his liking, wouldn't he have just went somewhere else instead of sticking around? Hira approached the man as the noises behind him faded, and greeted him with a smile as he stood a few feet away, not wanting to invade his space and seem rude.

"So, you're not a fan of crowds either I take it?" Hira said calmly trying to start some form of conversation. "Why'd you stick around if you didn't like it?"
