Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Diamond District - home of the well to do. While there aren’t exactly a lot of ‘rich’ people in Suna, those who are, call this place their home. Large mansions, beautiful fountains that would have fresh water pumping through them if it wasn’t wartime, and clean roads all greeted anyone who walked in here. Though it was often rare to see any cross traffic beyond the actual nobles, doctors, and shrewd businessmen, sometimes the personal police would let a regular slip through. Though there wasn’t usually much to actually do inside of the district except stare at the beautiful houses and dream, there were a few local eateries, two fancy member only bars, and a strange house sitting on a hill above the rest.

Settled a good three stories above every other mansion in the district and on top of a overlooking cliff was an, in comparison, small rickety looking house. It looked like a straight eyesore when compared to the luxury going on below. One could only begin to wonder why in the name of Mother Suna would they bother letting it stay there…or at least until you were in town at the right place and time.
The house, in the shape of a beat up Craftsman with a garage on the side, seemed innocent enough until an explosion would come roaring out of the house on one side or another. Today was one of those days.

The path leading up to Doctor’s Ryuu’s house on what people were starting to call ‘Mad Man Hill,’ was covered in signs all the way up that said to keep out and away in multiple languages but there was little else preventing free travel. Truth of the matter was the scientist secretly loved house guests but only if they could perk his curiosity, and ignoring his warning signs was always a good conversation starter. Having a fresh brain to, sometimes literally, pick was exhilarating as it often lead to new ideas to work on in his spare time away from the hospital. Of course on this specific date as the moment someone tried to walk by, around 3 in the afternoon, they would be met with a loud boom and a harmless shower of garage door bits as the good doctor had once again come across a volatile piece of experimentation. Blue and purple smoke billowed out of the scientist’s garage as the seven foot tall blonde himself came stumbling out coughing and hacking. He was wearing goggles that were now covered in some kind of soot, and before anyone who was watching could cry out, the scientist stumbled out and over the ledge of his little cliff…and descended like a lump of steel.

A plum of dirt and rock went up where he dropped.

While there wasn’t much to do in the Diamond District beside beholding the beautiful houses, Riku still liked to do it from time to time. To dream about having a house like this would be silly, though, when he already lived in Michi’s impressive house that was hidden away from the world. While Michi’s house was technically in Grand Palais, the insides of the place were fitting of a house from the Diamond District, he was sure. Except that Michi’s house probably had more books than all of those in the Diamond District houses combined. Riku was pretty sure Michi knew everything, sometimes, what with all the books she had, all written by herself.

As he did every time he came by the Diamond District, Riku eyed the lone house on top of the hill. He had always been tempted to disobey the signs and investigate it, but he had figured the signs were there for a reason, and he had taken to only investigating it from a distance. It was a pretty cool looking house, though pretty different from the rest of the houses in the Diamond District, it definitely had more personality than any of the other houses.

It was while he was staring at the lone house that it happened. Both Riku and the puppy at his side flinched at the noise, but the two of them hardly had any time to react beyond that. Seconds later, a man landed loudly against the ground, not too far from them. At that, Riku reacted more promptly, rushing over to the man from the hill, puppy at his heels. He peered at the fallen form with concern. “‘re y’alright?” He blurted out, concerned. He hoped the man wasn’t hurt, but that had been a pretty significant fall. He kind of wished that he had bothered to look into medical ninjutsus now, but he hadn’t yet. If the man needed to go to the hospital, Riku wasn’t too sure he could drag him there, the man was maybe twice the size of him, but he would certainly try. The puppy gave his own concerned whine, stepping closer and tentatively prodding at the man with his nose.

As the floating dirt and sand drifted away with a stiff breeze it would become apparent that Riku and his smol companion were the only living beings that cared for the fallen man’s well being. One would think that at least someone would have at least screamed for help but not a single soul in the entire sub-burb breathed a word of concern.

Mostly because the giant of a man laid there in his small crater with his arms crossed and a puzzled look on his face; calculating algebraic formulas and solving them out loud.

He was dressed in something a little old fashion today due to what he was dealing with. A simple white button down, mostly blasted into a black color, tan slacks, common leather house shoes, (to which only one remained), a pair of aviation goggles holding up his bangs, and of course, an amazingly pristine lab coat.
As Riku neared the doctor would stop in his calculations in mid formula and glance over with his heterochromatic eyes in small wonder. His heart did a little leap of joy to think anyone was paying any attention at all. He was trying desperately to figure out exactly what colors of smoke had billowed out following his explosion by math as his first method failed horribly.

In a single motion the giant sat up straight before drawing up his knees, tucking in his core, and lifted himself up. Rocks and dirt tumbled away from his form as his hands dusted off some of the dirt out of his hair while his lab coat seemed to shake off any other the dirt or stains on its own via vibrations. When Tama turned towards the young child and knelt down on one knee to attempt near his level of stature and begin to ask questions, his clothing looked mostly clean. His eyes had remained a focus on Riku but a familiar scent crossed his pallet…then he caught sight of the young pup. Before he could stop himself the scientist felt his heart leap into his throat and threaten to choke him as tears started to well up a little in the corners of his eyes.
Of course being a professional medic he was trained in proper bedside manner. The youthful scientist ran his face across the sleeve of his lab coat causing it to sizzle aggressively at him and when his face revealed again it looked kind and caring. Having collected himself he carefully cleared his throat and asked,

Did’ja see wat colour the smoke dat came ah’ rollin out muh lab? I ‘unt tuh say…blue perhaps?

It was the question he had intended asking in the first place before he got caught up in an instant of memories. His heart had a special place for the canine of the desert and those they chose.
