Not long after her recent bout in the arena, Otome sat hunched over the counter of one of Kumogakure's shadier bars, a jug filled to the brim with sake in her right hand. It was the second such bottle she had downed since entering the establishment a few minutes ago, and yet she doubt it would be her last as her recent loss against the Konoha gaijin haunted her thoughts. She closed her eyes and sighed before dispelling her doubt with a swig of the potent brew.
"Aren't you a little young to be in here?" one of the bartenders--a well-built man nearing the end of his middle-age years--teased her, prompting a nasty glare from her. "Not that I mind that is; business is business, after all."
The kunoichi remained silent, opting to take another swig of sake instead of divulging her trepidation to this stranger. However a familiar, annoying laugh behind her caused her grip to tighten around the jug's handle.
"Oh, you don't need to tell the Butcher of Kumogakure that!" another woman chimed in.
"Butcher of Kumogakure?" the bartender backed away and motioned to the bouncers at the door as Otome growled.
"Why, you haven't heard?" the same woman continued mocking Otome's rampage of justice. "The woman before you has killed no less than fifty innocent people as she indulges in delusions of self-righteousness."
Had she been in better spirits, Otome would have simply enjoyed some bitter banter between both women as was usual for her.
However, she wasn't in the mood and as such chucked the bottle of sake at her accuser before storming out of bar.
"I'm not the one who's guilty, Sadako," she thought to herself as she marched with no particular destination in mind. "And once everyone knows just how guilty you are, I will personally execute you myself!"
