Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The coast was clear from what he could tell, his head barely peaking from a corner while on the swivel to make sure he wasn't seen. He had planned this perfectly in his eyes, waiting till the sun was down well past the time the Aviary was in use to creep. Some time was care was planned for this operation, it wasn't something that was spur of the moment because this had important significance. Turning his head away from the corner and putting his back against the wall, the young teenager would take hurried steps as he made his way inside. Phase one was complete but that was the easy part, the hard part would be getting everything he planned done in the amount of time he had to do it.

Rubbing his hands together, Moyasu had two important items on him being both a stack of paper and the second being a well used lockpick. While he had never picked a lock before, he had brought it just in case the cages that housed the birds were locked. The real star was the stack of paper, all of which had a simple face drawing of a face with it's tongue hanging with a single eyelid being pulled down. The plan was simple, get these notes to the birds and let them free. He didn't really have a bunch of reasoning for the prank besides the most important one, no one has done it before. Though despite all his planning there was one thing that didn't cross his mind until he was in and that was the possibility that the place would be revisited by passing guards.

His shoulders would shrug at that

Finding his way into a room housing the avians, the boy couldn't help but chuckle gleefully and in a way that was obviously filled with childish mischief. He'd rest the stack of papers on the nearest table before rushing to the closet cage. Staring at it he'd simply say,
"We're gonna make this a first....just wait till folks wake up to see these all over the place..", a single page had been kept on his person and he held it up to take in his handy artwork. The hokage was pictured like a goofy looking doodle with a silly enough face that he couldn't help but giggle at his handiwork. This was going to be gooooood.

Hoichi was just so happens to be walking by the wall adjacent to the tower that serves as the aviary when she heard a crinkling sound. It seems like she stepped on a piece of paper. The paper was so flat and motionless that she could not tell it was there at first. Taking a step back she would gracefully grab the paper off the ground. She wonder who could have dropped it as she could not sense anybody in the nearby vicinity. Unfortunately being blind she could not see what was on the paper. Being that she was close to the gates, she was worried that it might be someone’s passport. “I’ll just hand it to an Anbu there. They can get it back to whom it belongs.” Once at the gate entrance she would walk over to one of the masked figures. “Excuse me sir, I found this piece of paper.”

The Anbu takes the paper, which was handed to him face down. The back of the paper was blank and turning it around he sees a rather childish drawling. “What is the meaning this?” The anbu was not sure if he was being pranked right now. Hoichi was a bit scared with his response as she did not think it would get her in trouble. What in the world did I just hand him? “I’m sorry sir I don’t know. I’m blind.” The anbu looks her dead in the eye and waves a hand it her face. When her eyes yielded no reaction he believed her. “You said you found this.” Hoichi tells him just where she found it and the anbu points at another anbu, “You, go to the aviary and check it out.”

Yuki leaned against a wall, she was bored, she didn't know why she had to be patrolling the streets. Its not like the village was on high alert or anything but it sure beats doing paperwork. It was quiet, which was to be expected, she couldn't help in thinking that Asuka was trying to punish her or else why would she assign her branch to handle petty squabbles and pickpocketing kids which she couldn't help but notice was oddly on the raise. She was trying her best to nap standing up when she heard her partner making a fuss over, something. Rolling her eyes behind her mask as she stood herself up and looked down at the small girl that was standing in front of them and then to wait he was holding. It was a drawing, a terrible one at that of Asuka, she laughed inwardly as it was pretty funny and turned to the girl.

"I appreciate the heads up but you really don't need to be bothering the Anbu about this. Hardly a threat to public safety now is it?" She looked back at her partner "I will go check it out, stay here,"

It was a short walk from where she has been to the Aviary but far to many steps for her liking when she got there she saw a kid trying to pick the lock of cages and failing.

"Funs over kid," She grabbed the kids by his ear lobe away from the cages to stand in front of her. "And give me those. Name?" She quizzed him her hand holding his shoulder.

He had a growing excitement building as his energy was at an all time high, after all he was making history here for other delinquents to follow. This would be his mark and it would be glorious when the sun rose and for everyone to come face to face with his art. His focus become singular though as the minutes counted down, a tongue hanging out the side of his mouth while he picked at the locked cage with the small lockpick.

Had he ever really used a lockpick before, no. Was it something he assumed was easy breezy and could be done without much hassle, yes. He'd end up stuck on the first cage however, slowly but surely figuring out how to work the mechanism. The room filled with audible clicks with each pin inside the lock he was able to manipulate and a single clicking noise unlike the prior shortly followed. It was opened and the lock hung free, defeated by his ingenious abilities.

"Heh, this is going to be gr---"

His voice was cut off immediately, or shall we say yanked away just as quickly as his body was. It happened faster than he could process largely since he was so unaware of his surroundings. One second he was close to being a legend the next it seemed like he was staring at an infamous legend killer. Both eyes stared, affixed to the mask of the Anbu that had snatched him up. His gaze said it all, he was bewildered and shocked to no end. After all, he had been sure his plans were well planned out. The fact that he was caught...the kid would grind his teeth in sudden annoyance, couldn't have been nothing but blind luck.

His eyes would track to the weight on his shoulder, an excuse really not to look in the eyes of the party pooping Anbu. She'd asked for his name and he'd considered giving a false one but something told him that would only push his luck and there had been enough to go wrong thanks to blind chance.

The kid would not look apologetic but instead had the same gaze many his age would have. Bewildered that he wasn't going to get to revel in glory.

Hoichi hangs her head low, “My deepest apologies madam. I’m afraid I am new to this village.” Hoichi has only been here for a week now. She has yet to learn everything she needs to know. She truly thought the masked people here were like officers. The woman then said to the man that she would look into it and walks off. Hoichi was unsure whether she should leave or wait for her return and offer recompense. “You should leave before she returns.” Hoichi continues to stand there determined to accept what any punishment she receives. The Anbu then gives her a lite shove, “Go! It is getting late. You should return home.” Hoichi admits defeat and bows her head. “Thank you sir. Sorry for wasting your time.” She then walks away as instructed. Hoichi was unsure why the Anbu did it. Was he protecting her or simply did not want her to bother anybody else this evening.

Maki pokes his head around the corner as he hears a commotion, watching as Yuki gets onto some people. The former shinobi shakes his head and gets back to what he was doing, putting some of the papers he’d pilfered from the young boy onto pidgeons and then letting them go into the night.

Someone had to make this masterpiece happen.

It seemed something was going on in the Aviary. Tenken had nothing identifying his rank so he figured he was good to go in and check it out. A tight button-up white shirt covered by an unbutton gray blazer covered his upper body, with skinny-fit matching slacks and some black hushpuppies on the bottom. It took some tight bindings to keep to the male look with such tight clothing, but he felt it worked.

Even his hair was done up different, pulled up and wrapped in such a way as to appear shorter but more voluminous for it. And his makeup was used not just to look better but to contour his face into a less feminine shape. At his side was a sheathed katana, the sheathe a midnight blue color with purple wrap going up to a hilt wrapped with purple fabric, and he had black gloves over his hands, one was useful to hide the fact that his arm on the right side was a mechanical apparatus.

He pokes a head in, golden eyes checking everyone even as someone slid out past him. Finally the boy steps into the Aviary fully, looking between Moyasu and Yuki. ”Anything you two need help with?” He wasn’t making himself out to be a hero but something was obviously up, and indeed the stack of papers with a crudely drawn Hokage on them could be labeled as seditious materials. Though last he knew that wasn’t really….a punishable crime.

Then again, he wasn’t a cop so what did he know about that?

Yuki looked down at the boy the lack of remorse was impressive, she must have lost her touch when it came to scaring children. She wasn't planning to punish the boy too harshly, after all, it wasn't like he was doing anything worse then what the current Hokage would get up to in her youth, still, she couldn't exactly let him get away scot-free.
"Moyasu, Moyasu...You an academy student?" She questioned him, going through the lists on known trouble makers that she had memorised, he wasn't on that list. It was while she was doing this that Maki removed the papers that she was holding and shattered them to the winds along with a few pigeons, she grabbed the boy swinging him round to face away from the cages towards the entrance as she began to scold her good friend and former boss "Maki, I swear to everything that is holly you are worse than the academy students some times, now get out of here before I tell that lovely wife of yours," She turned to glare at him but noticed that she was joined by another less familiar face, she looked them up and down as they spoke raising her eyebrow behind her mask. "Move along, I got this covered, just about to take this tiny menace to someone to deal with him, who are you anyway?" Slightly irritated that they were questioning what she was doing.

There was a lot to process in those fleeting moments with two things made evidently clear to him. One being that he would have to up his skills when it came to getting his pranks off because how did he end up in a room with three individuals when at first there were none. He'd scoff under his breath and was seemingly in a defeated sense of mind before realizing exactly what Maki had done after the Anbu seemed to scold them. A coy smirk formed along his lips while his body temperature seemed to raise in his excitement. Sure it was an unconventional assist but the fact remained that his drawings of the Hokage would be spread across the village.

What put a damper on his newfound excitement was being suddenly turned around faster than his body could respond. Having not had anywhere near the training to have avoided it, his eyes were spinning in a sense. While his eyes caught up to his body, it was evident here at the pecking order as the same masked person who'd had their hold on him talked with authority to the other arrival. Any other time he might of had the chance to observe and pick apart people's appearances but the Anbu would mutter something that made his eyes suddenly dart and focus solely upon them.

Who was she referring to, that would deal with him and what manner would that even entail. The more he mulled this over, his temperature would continue to rise and though it wasn't an over the top degree the Anbu would feel the sudden temperature flux. Heating up was just a part of his blood and he'd guessed his body would feel like a warm cup of tea at this point. This was the last thing he needed and it was something he personally didn't want which was why he put so much effort in not getting caught.

If his parents found out he would undoubtedly be scolded harshly. After all their people could ill afford to be making the wrong type of names in the village. This wasn't going to end well and there was no means of escaping it, trust him he'd already looked around for one.
"Yanno...if you let me go I wont do it again.". He was lying and he was sure she and everyone present would guess he would lying cause isnt that what they all say when caught. Still he had to give it a try because anything would be better than the alternative he would face if his people were made aware.

Maki watches quite passively as Yuki lays into him. He’d been through hell and back, he could handle-ohfuck. She was threatening him with Hoshirei. Brown eyes move from her to the student, darting around as he tries to figure out how to get out. Hope arrives in the form of a pink haired kid asking what was going on.

Maki screams out loud “SHE’S GOT A GUN!” before metal seems to simply form around him and he leaps up, his magnetic control sending him flying through the roof and out of the building while leaving everyone confused and possibly concerned.

Well this was a hell of an introduction to some people. He realized too late one of them was an ANBU, and from the subtle gives, not a low ranking one. Which was a concern since ANBU weren’t police inside of the village. Then the man in the back releases a bunch of birds with the drawings, leading to the ANBU to admonish him, and the name ‘Maki’ slipped. Tenken would almost dismiss the name before the man screamed something about “she has a gun” and seems to transform before his very eyes and take off, leaving a hole in the roof that was…substantial.

”I….see that you do. Nanashi Tenken. So…is someone supposed to chase down that man about the damage to government property or are we just letting him go?” He still had no idea who this woman was, but he got the feeling she was looking at him the same way a hawk looks at a mouse. Wondering if it was worth snapping him up. ”So…what is the kid being charged with? Or are you just handing him to an instructor? He looks like an Academy student.” While Tenken wasn't aware of laws against this kind of prank, the Academy ran on its own set of rules that could result in some punishment being levied.

He looks from the ANBU to the boy. ”Why are you doing this, anyways? Did that man a moment ago pay you to help him or something? He seems suspicious.”
