The Passports and Immigration Office is filled with people, mostly foreign merchants hoping to get clearance to sell their wares to the locals. There are also those from Konohagakure and Kirigakure seeking asylum as refugees into the village. A few are locals, hoping to get a passport, written permission to leave Earth Country whether for business or pleasure.One of the officers, a scruffy looking man, sighs and scratches his head. "Why can't I just be at home? It's not even my shift but that stupid girl keeps disappearing from her post," he grumbles in annoyance before noticing you're there. "Ah, hello, hello. Looking to get a passport? You're in the right place. Mind you, you might not get one right away unless it's for urgent business. And we won't clear you for vacation travel either, if you think you can just goof around without any funds to do so."
Despite his laidback, casual appearance, his eyes look sharply at you as you fill out the proper forms in triplicate. "You have to be on your best behaviour out there too, if you do get allowed to leave. You're representing our country, you know, and we don't want to look bad. That's bad for our business and tourism."
Some OOC guidelines for the Passports and Immigration Office:
- Please post a new topic requesting a passport (and you may request exit in that same topic too).
- RPing is not optional and is essential in attaining your passport. An immigration officer may have the chance to deny your passport request.
- Going out of the country for less than legal reasons? You're allowed to lie. That's why RPs are mandatory in acquiring a passport.
- You do not require a passport to RP in the Outer Village Zones of Earth Country. One can only leave the country without a passport by Going Missing.
- After a certain amount of time has passed without your character returning, Iwagakure may send representatives to investigate your situation or declare you Missing in Action.
- One must at least be Genin rank to acquire a passport.
