Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kana had a very large task in front of her, and in her mind not a lot of time to do it in. She wanted to be fast and efficient. The more bodies she could lay flat in a single evening the less chance of them being connected, and less chance of being caught. After her meeting with Toushin she spent hours researching about the individual before going home and resting. A day-time nap would allow her to awake fresh as the sun was falling and the village was going to rest. Black, would be the attire she chose for the evening. Where she normally sported brown or tan colors, tonight was different. Body paint would be used to cover every bit of skin that could be seen externally. Her face, hands, and even arms and legs up to a certain point were covered to make sure that she would be unnoticed. A dull black robe and cloak would be spun around her form as she brought an arsenal of weapons and plenty of poison to be hidden beneath it.

Stealing off from her home in the dead of night and making her way to Black Bazaar showed the world of difference between the communities. A sleeping Suna above ground, and a booming one beneath. It was a good thing Kana was practiced with the streets, alleys, and almost every nook or cranny that could be offered within the underground. Mostly due to the extended visual range and pinpoint precision of her doujutsu, Kana would be able to masterfully sneak about the area without being noticed by a single individual. Tonight, like no other before, Kana had to be perfect. A very specific list of people had to be found this evening, and wiped clean from this world because they knew too much. Too much about her, about what she had become and how. These were pieces of information that could be put together to fill out the puzzle of what Kana had become, and it was time to put an end to even the possibility of a leak.

Slave Traders, some of the worst humans this world can produce. A total of five names were on her list, and it would be five separate businesses that would topple tonight. With expert infiltration she would gain access to each individual compound before locating her target and summarily executing them. If she was a better person, perhaps she might have freed the slaves, but that was not part of her job. Her job tonight was a selfish one, and so she had no time to play hero. These were kills all done with a sword, made to look like one assassin. Every kill was clean and to the point.

Middlemen or information brokers, another scum of this earth. They benefitted from dealing in knowing the worst people, and keep some of the most dangerous secrets within the underground. Two of them she had dealt with, and two would no longer be here come morning. Kana would make sure to handle these kills in a different manner. Waiting precious hours to allow for the men to enter a restroom before stabbing them with a dagger in the groin. The intent was to make it look like a scarred woman who was very upset at both these men. After all, the major intent here was to make the pieces very difficult to connect and not allow them to point back to her.

Nurses, the staff that kept her alive. It was these kills she felt the most remorse about. Locating the homes of the staff that worked with the doctor who did her surgery was possibly the easiest task she had set before her. Breaking into their homes while they slept was also no difficult chore. The hard part was injecting the black lotus directly into their blood stream and watching as they slowly stopped breathing in their sleep. It was these deaths that she made look natural, an attempt at blending in with all the rest of the chaos that has ensued this evening.

Anbu, dirty and corrupt. The majority of the agents who posed as defenders of the city were in fact the worst offenders of ignoring its laws. Kana had dealt with two in particular, not that she knew who they were as shinobi, but she knew their code names and the masks they wore. It was enough. In terms of difficulty, these would be the two hardest targets she had for the evening. As well, if two Anbu died at the start of the night, the rest of her tasks would have been made much more difficult. Though now she had the hardest task in front of her. To remain in stealth and kill two trained shinobi who both likely had a rank far beyond hers within the village. Locating her two targets, she found a point where there paths would intersect. This would be her chance to strike. Taking the time to prepare multiple explosive notes tied to one kunai she had an easy way to eliminate one target, and deal significant blowback to the second. A follow up attack would come soon after with her striking at the neck of her target. Gurgling blood she knew the man was dead, and to be sure she would go through and methodically stab each of them through the heart. A traitor's death, a stab to the heart for the village whos heart they broke.

Reports would go out about the Anbu, and likely the other bodies as they turned up throughout the evening. Though at the point any of them hit her headset she was already back at home, peeling off her clothes, and getting ready to hop into the shower. Once in she would make the water as scalding hot as possible as it made washing off the blood that much easier. Black and red would filter through the drain as Kana cleaned herself from the sins she committed this evening. Closing her eyes she silently wondered how long it would take Toushin to receive this news and seek her out once more.
