Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Most of the classrooms were not directly suited for the Medical Arts, though Takai was determined to make things work out. Recently he had heard from the other teachers at the Academy that there had been a generation of young medics brewing, and he was determined to offer his particular talents to help bring a diverse group of medical ninja into the fold. For this lesson he was adorned in his medical robes, all white with the fire symbol emblazed on his back. His loose fitting robes had gold ornate stitching at its edges, following in his theory of proper décor and setting. He had brought in an assortment of flowers and plants that were scattered about the room for possible use in todays lesson. He was hoping to make things a bit more hands on than just a lecture. Each lab table had their own assortment of plants as well, a small selection they'd be careful to misuse. Burning in the background was the scent of lavender, it's soothing scent scattering throughout the room. A few other pieces of equipment could be seen about each lab table, mortar and pestle, burners and beakers of various kinds, as well as other chemical agents and powders of different kinds. It wouldn't be long before the students started filing in. Grabbing a piece of chalk at the board, he began to write the title of todays lesson.

Poisons & Advanced Recovery Tactics

Up at the front at his desk he prepared a few particular vials that he took out of his sack. Bringing them over to the front lecture table, he began to set up the vials and some of the equipment that would be used for his example. A 1000ml flask was attached to a burner in the front, the burner now lit to test the heat. He smiled for a brief moment, taking in the energy of everything, and just enjoying the atmosphere that he had created. A job well done. Switching the burner back off, he looked around the prepared class, ran his fingers through his flowing black hair, and let out a sigh of relief. Now to just wait on the youth.

RING RING RING

Her alarm blared loud enough to wake the dead, she even felt the floorboards shake as she mustered up the energy to open her eyes. Perhaps corpses where trying to get through the floor to turn the clock off themselves. She slid to a sitting position and dangled her feet off the bed, clicking the alarm clock lightly and it stopping entirely, leaving an almost deathly silent house. The floor was still shaking though, as she tapped her feet onto the ground and headed into the living room, where her dad was frantically running across the house. He was collecting clothes for her to wear, while her mom walked out the door with toast in her mouth in typical japanese tropes. Once he was done, he threw the clothes at her and they hit her chest and fell to the floor. She reached down and grabbed a hoodie off the floor, pulling it over her head. This would do for dressing herself today, as it was the earliest morning she'd had in a while and didn't at the moment, have the energy to pick out some ridiculous contraption. She grabbed her own slice of toast and headed out the door.

A little bit of time passed and she arrived at the academy where her class was suppose to be today, a potions class by mister wizard or something, she remember reading on the notice she received in the mail. She entered the room and was assaulted with the scent of lavender. Ahead of her where a bunch of science equipment she couldn't name if she was the teacher. Her cool books at home had the same kind of thing, but she really only paid attention to the cool parts like the human anatomy and skeletons. She remembers a time she told her parents "Mom, dad, aren't teeth just outside bones?" Needless to say, they laughed for a while about it. So she, being of small stature, struggled her tiny legs into the seat, using them to climb up and sit in the chair, legs under her as sort of a booster.

"Kyarakuta, nice to meet you. Can I have some of that candy?" She introduced herself, then asked for the deadly treats on the table like kids tend to do when they want something, blunt and to the point. She grinned from ear to ear, this girl in PJ's and a hoodie with frazzled hair and droopy eyes still managed to find the energy to smile. It often times got her what she wanted from adults, they found her adorable. Her parents found it rather irritating, as she seemed the luckiest person alive. She would await an answer, and the other students!

The Faceless is a religious cult that worship a deity to which they refer to as the man-faced god. According to their beliefs it is he who taught the founder of the clan the true art of transformation. The Faceless freely sacrifice their former identities so that they may view the world through many perspectives. Many outside the clan view them as a clan of eccentric actors. Often training in the Faceless consists of the game of faces. A Faceless must be able to take a role without the personality of their true self bleed through. Breaking character means getting hit with the spear. Needless to say that there are those who do not survive pass the initiate stage.

In missions she is often require to change forms in order to better adapt herself to the situation. Each form is a weapon and has its own unique set of skills that might become handy. She decided to treat the class the same way. Instead of coming to the class in one of her many forms, she will come as No One. She takes several rolls of bandage and cover her entire body. She then wears a blue hooded robe and a kitsune mask. The mask was of custom design for it had a built in voice modulator. The mask also had special glass over the eye holes. The glass would allow her to see, but anyone looking into them would only see their own reflection. On the forehead of the mask was the emblem of the faceless clan.

One might think she was an anbu in this get up, but she did not care. As she enters the class she see flowers everywhere. She could even name a few like nightshade and foxglove. The scent of lavender wafted underneath her mask. So far there was only one other student that looked like she just rolled out of bed. Silently the masked figure took a seat and waited for the class to start.

His lips parted slightly while his teeth repositioned a wad of purple gum, thinning it enough to prepare for an exhale. Sliding the door of the classroom open, a medium sized bubble expanded outwards before popping. Recollecting the gum pieces, he glanced around at the class and it's teacher before shrugging. Seemed interesting enough alone with all the tools on the desks but the plant variety truly gave it an over the top rating. Choosing a seat nearest the masked kid..or adult, he wasn't actually all to sure, Yamato slumped into his seat while leaning. His gaze stayed focused on the board though he fought the urge to look at the mask with childlike admiration.

Grinning ackwardly he quickly composed himself enough to truly gather a breath and himself. He had to remember that this was not his fist class and that there was no reason to be nervous. He did find it strange that he had never taken a class with either of the others gathered before but followed suit in introducing himself.

"Yukata Yamato"

Regardless, the youth quickly overcame his immediate tendency, finding himself pondering the full nature of the coming lesson, waiting to evaluate just how well of a teacher this man would be. It would all depend on the lesson's context would be explored.

Toxicology was a subject matter she was quite weak in. As soon as she heard someone was going to be conducting a medical class on the subject she jumped right on board and signed up. Plant based anything was in short supply in Iwagakure. Sure they had a garden growing those toxic items specific, but it was a patch of grass in a desert of rocks. The fire country on the other hand, forests abound everywhere. Plants she had never heard of grew right at her doorstep. She had heard even that once upon a time, there was a clan in this very village that specialized in combat using such. She had high expectations of things to come for this class.

Sara had trouble sleeping the night before. Excited to learn something new the next day. Healing poisoned people, and maybe even dabbling in the use of those poisons sounded fun. At the very least she would walk away with some newfound knowledge. That thought kept her up for quite awhile, also eating all those sugary pastries didn't help in the least. The television in the fire country was much more fervently more comedic. She couldn't help it though. She was a little overjoyed.

The small girl wondered the halls of the academy, well into the time that the class was supposed to begin. But all the halls looked alike to her. This was her first time visiting the academy here. Several classes were being conducted on multiple subjects. Blankly the girl traveled the halls until some teacher hassled her asking where she was supposed to be, telling her she was supposed to be in class. Or, it might have been a student. They grew big here in Konoha. It could have just been the tutelage from the prior regime that ran this academy, but the man was a little harsh on her. She politely asked the persons forgiveness then gave the person some slip of paper along with an excuse. It had her name and rank, along with the name of the teacher with the class room number printed on it.

The door opened wide into the class room, a voice calling out "Ata Yamato" as her escort peeked in and gave a wave to those within. Sara followed behind him and looked around. It was a new one for her certainly. Most of her classes were more hand-on, in the field. down and dirty types. This one was placed within a rather nicely kept classroom, with plants abroad. Even the desk of the teacher, with all the snazzy equipment one would expect in a high end lab. Beaker, Bunsen, and even a..was that honeydew? She was impressed with the wide amount of equipment and plant life. It wouldn't surprise her in the least if the teacher pulled out some animals from his desk today.

The man she came with let her pass and left the room quickly as she tried to figure out where to take a seat. She decided to make friendly with another in the class and headed towards an apparently energetic girl. She was a little bit odd looking, kneeling on top of the chair, but she couldn't blame her, this class seemed like it might be exciting. Sara bowed to the girl, "Hope you don't mind if I join you today. My name is Sara!" She said happily. The rooms vibrant colors and smells were lifting up her day. The girl had a similar complexion as she. Though hair and eyes were wildly different. The girl seemed antsy about something, of what she wasn't sure. Almost like she was expecting to be getting something.
