Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Teke was baffled by how good she'd felt in the moment since opening that inner gate, she figured that there were more of them within her but given that she was still learning she wouldn't take a further step yet, not without the proper research on the subject. It was obvious that learning and doing this without the aid of her teacher was the reason it felt so different now, she could feel the energy through ever inch of her body, a gentle heat that brought naught but comfort and happiness to her mind. She could compare it to the moment she first sank teeth into a victim but, without any of the gore that situation relied upon and the fact that it was now, seemingly, constant was exciting. She quickly moved past the swaying medallion held by the girl and was upon the sword in the stone in mere moments.

The humor of the situation hadn't been lost on her either, being tasked with pulling a sword from a stone, whilst under different circumstances, it did bring a smile to her face. "I wonder if I'll be crowned queen of England for pulling this out." She tittered, even if he was listening chances are that a story from her universe was not known to him, much less the mirth she seemed to find in the tale at this moment. Though he'd also know best why she was having these thoughts at all, she hadn't really put two and two together that it was more than simply being happy to have overcome a hurdle in her training, no matter how small it might be. The rock in front of her was bigger than her and she'd resigned herself to having to climb atop. With a quick hop she landed on top, feet either side of the holy blade but that was short lived as when her feet touched the rock itself her legs instantly gave way sending her tumbling to the ground, a little shook from the experience. She quickly got back to her feet and looked around. "Everything still is frozen... what?" She questioned as she dusted herself off and again jumped straight up onto the rock and it would lead to the same result, her vision starts to blur an almost pure white and her legs lose all strength but it doesn't hurt, it feels pleasant.

She walks herself slowly around the rock, contemplating what was happening assuming the act of inerting the blade into this piece of rock had granted some sort of effect to it which made it difficult to touch. This time she would reach her hand out and press it to the rocky surface but where she expected the rough sensation of rock she felt naught but a downy pillow and her sight began to fade to white once more and instinctively she jerked her hand away, examining it but obviously, there was nothing there. "Just what is this, it..." She stopped, realizing she, in fact, couldn't put the feeling into words, the idea of Nirvana was lost on someone who'd never experienced it before. Her next step was a little unorthodox perhaps, but she threw out a punch at the rock, a quick jab and even for just the brief moment they met the feeling flooded her senses once more but she was starting to pick up what was happening in the most basic sense.

The feeling of well being, happiness, comfort, everything pleasant currently happening to her was down to the gate she'd opened with the golden, Holy chakra and for whatever reason this stone and by association, the sword, were amplifying this to such a large degree that it was taking her consciousness and trying to smother it in... again her mind couldn't find the word but, maybe this is a god? Perhaps this is what they feel all the time, so either she needed to fight against it to prove her worth or let it take her to give her a true awakening. One of those sounded so much easier than the other that her decision was almost made for her. "So, this is the next hurdle I face. Resisting a blissful, eternal slumber... almost seems cruel." She said with a smirk before hopping back up on top of the rock, steadying herself in an attempt to battle the sweet embrace.

Obviously, her legs again attempted to buckle but she would not let them, focusing with all her might though they trembled violently against the gentle onslaught. The feeling, though starting in her legs quickly rushed though her entire body, numbing her to everything but its presence, she wavered for a moment and sunk to a knee, but let out a small growl as she pushed to remain conscious. "Focus on the flow, don't fight it, don't let it remain, let it flow through and past you." Again she focused on her chakra system, trying to take the holy energy and filtering it through the two gates she'd previously opened, it was a struggle and she could quickly feel a build up of chakra, pushing against them attempting to rush through but it just wasn't enough. "Repel, repel!" She muttered to herself as she tried to push the chakra back out, but she'd already let it this far and that was no simple task, in fact it was impossible as she currently was. "A-another... Slowly, carefully." Her vision had already faded into white, but rather than being harsh against her vision it was simply warming. "Find a third." She muttered once more, almost as if to stave off the sleep she was slowly falling into.

It wasn't as gentle as the gate she had first opened herself and it was in fact even harsher than the one forced open by the Angel. It was both chaotic and peaceful as her body quickly found an outlet for the overabundance of holy chakra. The third gate was opened and the Holy light coursing through her was now being jettisoned from her body, giving the girl a golden aura as lightning laddered up against the mass of energy. Despite this accomplishment, she could still feel the draw of the eternal slumber but its weight was lessened greatly. "One small slip and it could be the end." She spoke out loud, realizing her dilemma and watching the energy coating her curiously and as violent as it looked on the outside, she felt nothing but peace from it. She nodded her head in approval and with her left arm she reached out to the blade, wrapping her fingers around the hilt of the blade.

At this moment, though she could not see it, the chakra flowing through then out of her body was taking shape behind her, that of a pair of incorporeal wings, to match that her eyes had become solid gold orbs. With that said and done, the girl took a short breath and with her hand grasping the blade began to pull, hopefully out of the rock before her mind was taken over by sleep for real.

At the edge of the city the old Judge looked on and smirked. Even from here he could feel the energy pulsing through the city as Teke reached inside to focus the energy the machine had been trying to pull to the surface. The blade was little more than a trail, a catalyst to push her even further, and the Kami creation couldn’t help but feel proud. The being wondered with the amount of power she was displaying if she really could be the fabled Arkosios but unlike before his purpose in creating one was different. In the short time they were here she was already showing exceptional resilience and skill and it reminded him deeply of the Youkai Princess he had fallen in love with. While it had been impossible for the Kami to breed or even create a child they could pass on their holy energy. The power the old Judge was wielding now was power that had been given to him, that he gave to her.
Of course, though, that was always the trick of Human Souls. They didn’t bend to the whims of the Universe like the Youkai and the Kami; they always had room to grow stronger. The being realized not to long ago that it no longer mattered if she descended from his beloved, only that she be given the power to fight off those that wanted to destroy her soul. He believed it’s what she would have wanted.

It should of taken her far longer to get a grasp on. Whichever Soul she was blended with was giving her exceptional control over the holy energy and Teke already seemed to realized that it was trying to coax her Soul into slumber. Once she gathered enough power to draw that sword from the rock, which wouldn’t even budge unless she could muster up enough energy, they would go about finally mixing the two. Using the Gates to call out the latent energy impressed him and in his mind gears were already turning on how she could use that to fully intertwine the two. It was sad really, when he thought about it on a side note, that the original reason he had drew this girl here was to create a weapon for vengeance…and now he was inadvertently training the first Human Judge.

Teke’s hand started to vibrate violently the moment the blade started to slip from it’s stone prison. Sparks flicked out to splash against her coat with every tug of the blade and at one point a lightning bolt even struck past her face. Yet out of either panic or sheer determination the blade was free from its prison with a joyful ring. The sound echoed for a moment off the buildings and cars in the city square as she held the blade out to the sky. Another golden bolt of lightning struck from the clouds to the blade causing the weapon to collapse into energy and burn a small glowing rune on the wrist that removed the weapon. The sword was gone but the energy that flowed out and around her seemed a little easier to handle now that the mark was burned into her flesh. Once she decided to allow the power to rest back inside of her a voice in the back of her mind began to speak in a quiet panic that got louder. It wouldn’t take long to recognize the voice of the being that had brought her to this dimension,

…Jud-….loo….get out…they…the temp…” The words came in and out of her mind through a thick filter of static before clearly the words rang out,

THEY FOUND US, RUN.

A black blade filled with golden runes rocketed out from the sky. It broke through the Time Bubble and though it lost most of its momentum the blade struck and destroyed the swaying pendant that had kept everything here locked down. Immediately the war that had been frozen for hundreds of years returned. Screams of dying innocents, the unholy sounds of war, and in the center of it all Takahashi Teke with her naked arm raised to the sky.

Kill the Pretender. All troops avert from Youkai to destroy the Pretender.”

All across the city Judges that had been frozen for over two hundred years stopped their murder spree and turned to all look in the direction of the girl with golden wings.

Teke allowed the lightning energy to flutter from the blade, not flinching for even a moment, as one specializing in lightning herself she had long gotten used to electricity and its unpredictability. She would keep her golden eyes fixed on the blade as it started to discharge not only outwardly, but down and onto her body, seeming to collect at her wrist oddly. Shortly after the energy gave a final flare and the weapon was completely gone and in its wake was a strange marking on the girls left wrist. She felt the pull of the stone wear off at the same time and took that as a good sign, hopping quickly down from the debris, looking at the marking on her wrist a little more closely to see if she could decipher it just a little bit, but obviously, it was beyond her. The weight of her flowing energy was a lot calmer than it was before and the girl let her shoulders rest for a moment and the raging chakra that was previously jettisoning from her slowed quickly till it was like the flames of a small fire slowly lapping at the air.

At this moment she got the message in her head, at first it was a little disjointed but she could detect something was wrong and the second call out confirmed that. She had no reason to argue, sure she would have happily fought with and beat the hell out of the ones hunting her but she knew doing it here wouldn't be in anyone's best interest. She figured heading up would aid in getting her out of this bubble or whatever it was much faster. As she took her first jump up to one of the building walls to start her momentum she saw it from the corner of her eye, the strange black object heading not toward her, but pretty close to where she just was and realized a little too late what its aim was. As the pendant shattered the sudden and overwhelming sound of death and destruction quickly filled her consciousness and for a moment she simply watched, standing herself straight against the wall so that she was parallel to the floor, looking down at it all, a little dumbfounded by it all. Then came the voice, directing all the Kami to focus on her to which she could only respond one way, laughter. Even over the screams of people dying, explosions from one place or another and collapsing buildings and debris her laughter would be audible and probably strange. Slowly it died down though she continued to wear a wide smile as she spoke. "Yes, please give me an excuse to end each and every one of your jealously addled fragile super egos. One at a time or all together, it doesn't matter to me."

She gave a push with the chakra inside of her body and once again the chakra flared up, not quite as violent as previously but small flashes of lightning would crackle across her form. She quickly checked her immediate surroundings and tallied up the amount of Kami around, thankfully they were pretty easy to separate from the innocent fighting for their lives. She picked the closest of these and jumped from the building with force enough to leave a crater at the impact point, less than a second later she was stood toe to toe with the entity. "I will show you all, what a true Kami should act like!" She announced into his face, venom dripping from her every word before reeling back and punching the beings stomach with a fist coated in chirping, lightning energy. Not quite used to her new found strength coupled with her not exactly trying to hold back, Tekes fist cut through the body of the creature and out through the other side before she quickly and violently withdrew it, pulling electrified entrails out with it. "If any of you wish to flee, I would suggest you do so with haste because this isn't going to be pretty." She called out to those witnessing her violent display. "I cannot pretend to be an expert on what a Kami or a Youkai is, but I will not stand by and let innocent people be slaughtered because some prick thinks he's better than the rest of humanity." With that said she pulled away from the disemboweled Kami, giving him a shove so he would topple over. "Flee and become better than you are now, or come at me and face your final judgment." As she spoke the blood covering her arm would be engulfed by lightning and blackened smoke would flow from beneath it, as if to intimidate but Teke wasn't so naive to think this would work, but if for even a split second one of them seconds guessed themselves then she'd at least made a difference, that aside she once again started up the side of one of the buildings, seeing who would follow whilst also dragging the innocents away from being collateral damage.

She would stop once she was on the roof of one of the tall buildings, taking her usual stance up at the center as blackened clouds started to swirl above her and the low rumble of thunder would be heard from within. "This is either really brave or really stupid, girl, but without my pride, who am I anyway?" she asked in her head, chuckling a bit at the question.

At first the ancient Judges didn’t think much of the girl that was before them. She cried out in laughter. The ascended Souls calculated that this was the curse known as madness taking over and she was broken. Even the following sentence spoken from her mouth only seemed to confirm what the beings believed and started to move forward with their plan when Teke stepped forward. She landed before one of the Kami that had been trapped in the bubble and was following through with its previous mission first. Before it swing the blade the creature made a vomiting noise behind the darkness of the hood and red blood sprayed out as the shinobi removed the machine’s entrails. The family of half-breeds looked up and on with horror at their savoir before an explosion jolted them from the shock of being rescued from certain death. Quickly the Yuokai father spoke up and gathered his family before nodding thanks to the young woman before him. The demon heard every single word the female was speaking and for the first time since it could remember it felt an emotion that had not been there before.

Hope.

Following the brutal murder the rest of the Judges trailed after Teke until she stopped on the flat of a tall building. In seconds she was surrounded in by humanoids cloaked and hooded with black shadows all wielding swords against the girl who had challenged them. The first took a step forward which brought it from their flotation in the sky to stepping on the same stone tile as its opponent. The sword swept up but was blocked followed by a counter that crushed its conscious into oblivion as the Kami created being died.

Two more followed up.

The Judges all began to rotate themselves at the Takahashi. Two, then three, then four, then five, so on and so forth until the Initiate was fighting against ten of them at once. It seemed she had finally found the balance and control she was looking for as the golden energy not only began to radiate from her form as she countered but was even starting to bend to her will. Teke was doing far more amazing than the Judge that was training her could have ever hoped for, but, she was still training. The powers she was only becoming aware of and starting to bend was only helping her so far because of the training she had gone through previously. Every last trick Suna had taught her would have to be used here to keep up with the ten Judges at once, but even then she was bound to slip up. After all she was just one being against the might of the Kami.

Three weapons were deflected, two Judges slain, but as Teke turned to remove the life of the third a trick blow from one of her dead attackers activated. A beam of pure white energy roared from the corpse of the second victim and though she would try, her attempts at dodging the surprise attack completely were in vain as the light broke down and seared away every bit of her left arm. Yet in that moment a broad golden blade swung and cleaved three of the ancient Judges in half at once and a blinding ray of light landed next to Teke to form up into the man who was teaching her control. He was covered in the blood of Judges both his own and not and looked worn from battle. Grabbing the blonde by her waist he formed into another ray of energy and lifted them away from the city. A few seconds later and they were far above the world again and on the monastery looking over the city. The master fell to the ground after dropping his student.

The rush was unreal, it wasn't like everything was moving in slow motion as many might think, instead, her body just seemed to be flowing perfectly to the ebb and flow of the air around it. Subtle vibrations telling her that a sword was nearing her body and without thinking she made the most minimal of movements to avoid it by a hairs width, noo wasted movement, no wasted energy, it was the best feeling in the world. She watched as the robotic forms of these angels started to show some semblance of understanding as to her power, one by one joining the fray as their brethren were toyed with by the power tripping blonde. "Come on, heathens! At least try to show some commitment to your sins!" She yelled out with mirth before sending a bolt of lightning from the darkened clouds above and through the torso of one of the attackers, sending him lifelessly to the ground. The youngster would continue to dance and weave between the dozen blades vying for her blood as she threw out punches, kicks, and jutsu at moments of weakness or just simply opportune times, she'd had a fair bit of combat training in Suna though it was nothing compared to this level, the old her would have been long dead and she knew it but this power flowing through her now was quite literally god-like.

A few more of the angels fell to her judgment, battered and bruised from her chakra charged fists and torn asunder by her masterful Lightning jutsu, something about this form really lent itself to lightning in the girls mind, she could have used any multitude of jutsu and made a real game out of it but she was having fun either way. As more of them fell, however, Teke would become a victim to her own hubris, trying to show off to no one but herself and she failed to notice the beam of energy coming from one of the corpses. "Some kind of fail-safe?" She thought to herself as her body began to move out of its trajectory, but the beam came much faster than she'd anticipated.

It all happened so fast, a short, sharp pain followed quickly by numbness as her entire body came to a sudden halt. She opened her mouth as if she was trying to say something but nothing aside from breath came out of her shocked face. Slowly her expression changed, her brow furrowing into an expression of pain and anger and out of nowhere she started screaming extremely loudly to the point that even those tens of stories down on the streets could hear it. Lightning started to pour from her one remaining arms and the stub which was still bleeding but slowly being cauterized by the superheated energy. She didn't even notice the arrival of her mentor, most everything in her vision had gone white through her seething, animal-like rage. She lifted her arm into the air as more and more violent electricity flowed from it, at the same time, in the clouds above anyone who was paying attention would see a gathering of golden light forming in parallel to the girl's outstretched palm. "All of you..." She growled lowly with her now red raw throat. "I judge you all to be guilty of the sin of Wrath..." The build-up of black clouds and lightning started to pulse eerily, just as the man appeared next to her. "Gods Fall...." She said softly as she pulled her hand in a downward swinging motion as she and her bloodied mentor vanished a column of lightning engulfed the entirety of the building, top to bottom, searing anything within to its base carbon, once the beam dispersed all that would be left of the skyscraper was a smoldering crater, not that either Teke or her mentor would get to see it first hand.

Once back in the lonely monastery, the girl collapsed to her knees as the colors and shapes around her began to come back into view and she was confused at first, trying to work out how she was back here, did she ever leave at all? A quick glance down to her left side was all the answer she needed for that really, as where once sat her arm was naught but empty space with a bloody, charred stump. "Why... why did you stop me? I was going to... I need to kill them all for their sins... I passed my judgment and nothing short of death is good enough for them!" She started, her voice sore and soft at first but quickly rising as the steam inside her started to rise once again, but as she turned to the man she went silent. He was a mess, clearly, he'd fought hard and had the wounds to prove it. "So what now? Is this the end of everything?" She said, making her way over to him and struggling to pick him up, once she managed to get him over her shoulder she started to move back into the building, taking him to the bed of furs. "I can't let them get away with this, They need to be stopped again before their sins start destroying more people... my people..." She would do her best to attend to the worst of the males wounds with what little equipment and medicine were available to her.

Gods Fall is a combination of Kirin + Storm Guider hashed together into a column of Lightning and Holy energy [for RP purposes, not actually Holy system wise]

Just in case anyone cares :p

So many of his plans were ruined. Not just from the forced halt of the training he had tried to give the mortal attempting to tend to his wounds but also the bubble had been broke. Staying here in this realm was dangerous. Screams of innocents and demons reached all the way up the mountain as the clouds nearby turned black. The Judge grabbed her remaining hand and pulled her up as he slowly stood. There was no time to lick wounds and recover; the enemy would be upon them shortly.

Without a word the judge lead Teke back into the temple’s keep and bade her to go into the room they had rested when first coming here. After closing the giant stone doors he drew his hands together he called forth what little energy he could still naturally produce. He aimed it at the door with his mind causing a small golden light to etch an old rune on the surface. The edges of the door glowed a soft bronze and then seemed to meld into the frame it was set to. The Renegade dropped to one knee as his breath wheezed from artificial lungs. The being could feel his mental will wavering for a moment but heavily recalled that there was no time for it. The beings that had hunted him for so long were far more interested in killing Teke that him. It told the old machine quite a number of things, and the biggest was that the Kami feared the girl. It was unfortunate that he was unable to teach her how to meld the two energies together, but, it was probably for the best. Seeing how fast she had taken to using the holy power he had no doubt that she’d naturally find a way to ascend to the next level without his guidance; the Judge only hoped he could buy her enough time.

After catching his breath the old machine slowly stood up with the help of the door and turned to stumble/jog towards the warmth of the never ending fire. He crashed over a pile of books and barely caught himself with the table as his hands went straight through it. The sounds of gears straining to turn mixed with every movement Teke’s teacher made. Not once had the automaton ever once seem like the machine that he was, but, without hesitation he pulled his arms away from the table that had entrapped them to reveal the steel flesh beneath. The Judge looked down at his hands and the fake blood that poured from his ‘wound’ as if he hadn’t seen them in centuries. Truthfully the sight of his actual metallic body helped him make a decision on what to do with the girl he had planned to used as the ultimate weapon.

For once he was going to set his captive free.

The large machine stomped heavily across the room as his energy continued to lower. From a shelf he pulled down a leather pouch and a golden necklace tied to it with a crystal charm hanging. It was eerily similar to the same one the girl who froze time had worn. As deft as his shaking hands could he undid the seal and dumped what appeared to be pure white salt on the ground in a pile. With the tip of his boot the Judge drew a magic circle and activated it with a drop of blood from his arm.
A blistering heat ripped into the air as the white sand began to spin around rapidly until the floor it circled began to look like water. The stones cleared away to reveal a high dune overlooking the city of Sunagakure during a warm night. The large man’s frame came crashing down onto his knees. The full drop of his weight caused the floor around him to buckle in around him. His eyelids were half closed, his pupils dilated and glazed, but still he spoke slowly,

There is…not much time. The Judges will…call a Seraphim or even worse…one of the High Judges. Go back to your world…child,” a thunderous bang against the seal he had placed up caused the entire temple’s structure to quiver as if in terror.
Take…that book. It may help you achieve what you seek but be warned…no shell, no matter how strong…can hold either power for very long. You must achieve a balance…

The Renegade slowly raised his left hand to shake her right. The gears in his shoulder groaned at the effort but when she clasped his hand he would bestow the absolute last bit of his energy on the mark he had left. It would help her find the people he called ‘friends’ among the mortals that could possibly help finish where he had been forced to leave off.

Once the power had been set to safely draw from and she had leap through the portal a tremendous boom would echo through the old monk sanctuary. The sound of ceilings caving in rumbled into the opening Teke had stepped through and in a flash the surviving judges that had tried to kill the girl all stood around her teacher with swords raised. She had the time to turn back and try and save him, if she could, but even if she did he would simply look down and smile. The golden chain and charm would hang from his left hand and begin to swing like a metronome. Immediately a blue bubble exploded from the center of the swing and froze the Kami in time into that dimension once again; stopping the destruction of universes all over once more. The blue bubble rushed at Teke and pushed against her being to force the girl out of the portal and back into the sands of her home. Before she could move it closed.

Neither of them was in any kind of shape to really continue fighting, not that Teke would admit that out loud but the loss of her arm was starting to really dawn on her and the adrenaline that had previously been numbing the pain was slowly fading off as the reality of what happened was very much straining her body. The sounds of metal hadn't escaped her ears either, though she was unsure what that meant but seeing what this man was beneath his skin was certainly an interesting sight, she wondered if that was the future that Sousuke sought for himself but the human technology just wasn't at that point yet perhaps.

She watched on as the man stumbled through the building, falling as he went, she wasn't faring much better right now or she'd have helped him. As he pulled a familiar looking piece of jewelry out from his pouch it quickly dawned on her what he was preparing for as he lay down a circle of powder, it was almost similar to the way she'd created a ritual circle in the desert, the day she got this power from her mistress, perhaps she really was the woman this man had thought her to be. That thought warmed Teke a little, to know that the path being laid out before her was more and more likely to be the one she wanted for her was almost worth all the sacrifice.

The machine started to talk to Teke now, as the booming sounds of there would be killers came from the other side of the sealed doors, it was obvious to them both that it wouldn't last long. She would grab the book from where it rested and hold it to her chest tightly before rushing over to him. "It wasn't nearly enough time for you to teach me everything but, I'll do you proud. If one day I can fix all of this, then you have my word that I will do everything in my power to make it happen." The pair really didn't know one another all that well, they'd sort of lived moment to moment the past few days, having not even exchanged names during that time but it never felt out of place. Despite all that she still found that the tears were starting to run down her cheeks for this man, he was happy to sacrifice himself to see a better future for her, only one other person had ever stuck their necks out for her like that before and that person is now her father.

She would follow suit, reaching out her hand to meet his and grasping it tightly, she'd never had to say goodbye to someone before and in the moment her mind just kind of blanked, knowing she'd not see him again for a long time if ever again was upsetting. She'd learned a lot thanks to him, found a path to walk that wasn't killing her and would be able to accomplish her wants in protecting the people she cared about. She felt the last pieces of energy flowing into her, unsure right now as to the meaning but certain that it was something she could rely on back home. She looked down into the portal that had formed within the ritual circle he'd laid out and even through her tears she couldn't help but smile, thinking of home. She turned around and gave one final look over both her mentor and her savior and gave him a nod. "I think she would be proud of you, my mistress I mean. I am too. Thank you for everything." She gave him a final smile and with that she would step in, falling through the portal, turning her self around to watch as their pursuers finally broke into the temple and all pointed their blades at the man, but Teke would continue to watch and smile back at him as she fell knowing he wouldn't fail now.

The next moments were all a bit of a blur, she'd watched as the bubble of time began to expand from the relic, not expecting it would affect her though she didn't brace and when it hit her she was sent into a downward spiral as her body tried to fight off against the energy which was obviously not meant to be coming into her dimension. That's when the other end of the portal started to close and as she watched the state of her mentor vanish she felt a pang in her head and fell unconscious. Her now helpless body reappeared a few feet above the hot desert sands, colliding into a dune with a small pocket of blue energy chasing and impacting against the girl's body as it came to rest in a small crater of sand. She would only be out for a few minutes but the results of being hit by a stray ball of time would show its effects quickly.

As she came about she would find herself looking up into the blue sky with the sun blazing back at her, she moved up her arm to shield her eyes and groaned as she rolled over and got up onto her knees, trying to pick herself up awkwardly with one arm. As she did so, however, her blonde hair would fall into her field of view, having been touseled free of being tied up during the impact, what was jarring was just how much of it there was, she guessed it was a good few feet longer than it had been just a day ago and she started to become a little concerned and quickly stood herself up and started to inspect herself all over. Quickly she found that many things had changed, her hair was now at the back of her knees instead of the middle of her back, she'd "blossomed" in... almost... all the right areas. "Fuckin' stupid boobs." She thought to herself and to top it all off she was taller, in fact, quite a significant amount taller than before. "Okay.... so either time's fucked up really bad or... being in that dimension made me older in this one?" There was no real way to get an answer just stood out here in the desert, quickly she spun about and located the village off in the distance, it was still there at the very least and she immediately started making her way toward it, the book clutched to her chest once again, hoping not too much, if anything, had changed.

The heat burned down on Teke’s neck as a hot gust of wind whipped up and slapped her across the face with grains of her home. As she would breath in she would note that there was some construction going on near Suna but as far away as she was it was hard to tell what it was going to be. Unfortunately the moment she started to walk forward the sky started to darken. With each step it grew blacker and blacker yet not a cloud was in sight until the area around Teke turned into that of like the first time she faced the Judges.

A golden bolt of lightning flashed behind her and before she could react a large woman’s hand caught her only wrist and pulled it up. The motion would jerk the young woman around to face the large armored angel. It would mutter something in a language that sounded like a song calling three more angels into the negative space. Two appeared to be males and the last another female; and all were dressed for war. Heavy long-swords of different styles hung on the hips of the four battle angels. Their leader examined the mark left on Teke’s wrist with the disregard the Kami had for most mortals. Once she was satisfied she would release the hand and let the girl get a few spaces back.

It has happened. The Rogue has fulfilled his prophecy and stopped massive destruction of the Universes as Ina foretold. Though it appears he has left an apprentice behind as we feared. Our Lord has spoken that if such an event was to transpire that we would put it to a vote if the creature lived. Judges, vote now.

Of the four armored Kami there only one raised her hand. The other three nodded and disappeared in a pillar of lightning. The black shroud that spared the remaining Kami warrior and the Suna warrior from the world itself seemed to lock down harder. The angel drew her long red blade and held it ready to attack. No doubt the confused female before her was drawing up whatever reserves she had to try and fight a Kami in her own realm. Yet no matter how much power she called out it was all shattered in an instant.
There was no pain. Only a moment of ‘hurt’ when Teke would realize that the angel had already made her attack and that long red blade was protruding out of her back. An armored hand reached up and stroked the back of the dying female’s hair whispering apologies as she drew the human’s body into a hug.
There was no other way…he was a Rogue and their power is dangerous…we can’t let anyone, especially from your race, upset the balance…but because I loved him, I promise you won’t die this time…

The Kami withdrew the blade suddenly while pushing Teke’s body away from her. By using the sword’s gift all the power the Judge had left her with was drawn out into the tip of the blade along with a small piece of the Sunan’s soul. The mark that her mentor had burned on her wrist was now gone leaving only a strange scar behind. On the Sunan’s chest, though, now was a different symbol that glowed a faint golden hue. The Kami reached a hand up to her visor. She lifted it up enough to reveal perfect pulp lips and pearly whites that seemed to shine as her mouth opened up to consume the soul and power.

You proved your worth to him,” she said between bites, “but not me.” She swallowed and lowered the visor back down.
When you are strong enough, summon me, and I will give you back the power they fear so much…if you can win, that is.

Another pillar of golden light burned down from the sky and tore the black realm asunder leaving Teke with even less power and energy to struggle back home. However the burning mark over her heart whispered of strength and a connection to a realm far above what her mentor had tried to give. If she was dedicated, the girl would find the road to strength needed to overcome the tribulations that were yet to come…

She was making headway slower than she thought, her body was pretty exhausted and now that she was noticing, famished. After having spent a week in a place that was the literal opposite when it came to temperature, the girl found that despite everything she felt renewed. She'd started this small journey questioning what had been done to her, what the power given to her was and why it was trying to kill her but now it had all started t fall into place, what she is, who her mistress was, it was all beginning to make sense and all she needed to do was learn to master this power and she'd be nigh unstoppable... in her mind at least.

She had noticed the foreboding darkness taking over the sky as she moved but hoped that it was simply an after effect of the whole time dilation because she had no energy to fight with properly. Then it happened, everything went grey scale and she let out a very audible groan of disapproval. "Why can't you all just fuck off and leave me to my life!" She shouted out, knowing they would soon be descending, though she didn't anticipate being grabbed. Obviously, she fought for control of her limb and was rewarded with it finally being released, but she didn't step back. "Don't. Ever. Touch me." She scolded at the female as she stood her ground and tried her best to pull some power out of her body. She stood face to face with the one who had grabbed her and a small current of electricity would arc down her body, but nothing compared to what she normally could muster and even this amount was leaving her feeling more and more drained.

She listened to their conversation, slowly boiling with anger inside, watching this female closely and through sheer force of will powering up to let more energy flow across her body. But she was still not even close to the peaks she'd discovered in the past week and silently it all vanished as the blade was struck through her and she could only be silent for a moment. She listened to the whispers and managed to retort. "You are not... better than the humans or the Youkai... Keep pretending till... I end all your sins." She spoke through pained breaths and gritted teeth. She stumbled back when pushed but managed to stay on her feet miraculously and watched as the woman ate the stuff that had been pulled out of her with curiosity and frustration and once again the female spoke and Teke listened to the condescending words these Kami seemed to think was owed to them. "I'll prove nothing but your sins... prepare yourself for the day I tear away from you what he gave me... it'll be your last..." She said, almost snarling in anger.

There was no retort however, the female finished whatever it was she was doing and left as quickly as their unwanted arrival. She fell back into the sand and lay there for a while, looking into the sky, waiting for her body to calm down a little. Once sufficiently calmed down she struggled back to her feet and started making her way back to the village, much slower than before.
