Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

There is a reason that there is rarely a villainous monologue, people get funny ideas from reading about those. It is like looking at a man with pallid skin and long dark tresses and concluding that those the man has a villainous merit. It is ironic really how stories are all about the villain unless the protagonist makes a hero's journey because success is not something readily handed to someone because they title themselves a person of interest. That is the duty of the hero to find their way, to define the villain and to perform some valiant act to put an end to the injustice and treachery otherwise this is the villain's story and not yours.

In the Palace of the Glorious Immortal, a near alabaster structure with standards that flap proudly in the warm breeze. Verdant vegetation on all sides demonstrate a divergence in terrain from the better known parts of Wind Country. Wind Country is best known as a massive arid expanse but that is not true for the entire nation, the seaside boasts great diversity in wildlife and the hot, terrible sun here grants a more humid and tropical climate. The setting would appear perfect, a paradise on the seaside but it was nothing more than a facade. Evil is not something that you can identify with a photograph or a word -- the gentleman savage, the suave villain, the flamboyant sociopath.

At one point in time this seemingly pristine structure was in terrible disrepair but the belly was filled to the brim with secrets. The Order was still very much alive back then despite the structure's dilapidated state. There was once a time when the Rangers were a necessity but eventually they lost their relevance as their greatest quarry was hunted to extinction. A quarry that would never die, they could still be restrained and that they were deep in the catacombs that twisted below this present stately structure. The Daimyo was not always a man of means of wealth, rather he was a poor man conscripted into the Order as a teen. A degenerate and a criminal, he was left with a choice -- join the Order, deny his heritage, his inheritance and his titles, refuse his name. He had nothing to lose but his life when he joined and he would have lived out his life as many others had before him. That was until he met Nao and Shiro betrayed his Order.

It took years and a great deal of preparation to get to where he was today. To marry into a good family and to sire an heir. To overtake the remaining Orders and to use their lost skills to overcome the other families. He never took the rank Shogun, not that he had any opposition to this title but because it would be obvious then that there were no others. People have this habit of not taking notice of anything that does not directly effect them.

The years passed and not without incident. Sunagakure was the last piece before Wind Country would be his entirely but his ambitions did not... would not end there. The Otokage, an unfortunate pawn. Well, perhaps rook but he was no king. Still Kageoni was a useful resource and would be rewarded with his useless daughter's hand, why he even had he slightest interest in that girl was beyond him but that was not truly his concern.
