Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was the long road, but it was the right road. Or maybe the left, he wasn’t sure anymore.

After nearly twenty hours of non-stop research and turning his once clean lab space that was one of the precious remains of the original hospital into a pig-sty Tama had finished his three theorems. The only thing that was to remain was to test them out.
The normally clean shaven young man stood up with his hair all wild and about, a shadow growing on his face, and bags under his eyes despite the constant up flow of positive energy from his second coil. It seemed that even sleep deprivation would knock a super genius down a peg.

Scooping up his finished work he kicked his feet about making room for a large circumfrance of the room before setting down one of his three petri dishes of cultivated worm virus. He then placed the rest of his materials on the desk that was relatively clear and outside the circle before kneeling down at its edge. Tama reached down into his pocket to pull out a special quill pen that was used for jutsu of the Western Script style that was probably known to maybe a handful of people in the Wind Country; it was also known as Ancient Scriptures.
Thumbing the thin end of the pin he pricked himself on a small needle located inside of the quill to draw his own blood as ink. The wool threads that made the writing part of the pen turned a deep red color and began to drip his life force on the floor before him in a gentle rain like patter. Tama took his thumb away and wrote the ancient dead language on the palm of his hand before using the “ink” on the ground to create a large rune. Tucking the pen behind his ear the scientist stood up and conformed his body into an odd posture. His legs were crouched with his right leading and his body was bent over towards the leading leg while his hands formed a circle by curling and being placed above/below each other. Tama closed his eyes and focused himself.

This would be the very first time he had ever full tried out this technique as he had only recently discovered how to use it. The shinobi scientist never suspected he’d ever have to use the technique outside of another assassin attempt, but this made far more sense on his part. The technique he was trying to use was old, older than Suna and possibly older than the country itself as it came from a time when Ancients and Demons ruled the surface. Being said it also required an amount of chakra that wasn’t naturally possible by normal humans, and before he had lost his natural born chakra coil Tama could have preformed this technique with only minor side-effects. Now he risked killing himself just to get a taste of that strength once again so he could cure Sunagakure – a place that wasn’t even his homeland.
A smirk formed at the corner of the Ryuu’s mouth. His mother had always believed that he had good inside of him and could surpass the evil influence of his deranged father…and for a moment he had been lost while he devoured souls and tried to become something larger than life. Now, as a true mortal in every sense of the word, he was able to get a far more humble look on the life he once scorned as tedious.

A golden light slowly began to emerge from between Tama’s palms as his focus became more sincere. His mental focus on all the positive things in his world began to merge the two chakra coils he had twisted together inside of his system. The glow of the light became even more brilliant that could have ever been viewed by normal man as it seemed to radiate with the brilliance of a sun but remained a tiny globe. Slowly he opened his eyes to reveal the bi-colored normality had changed into a uniform green as both pupils became slit. A slow gentle warmth emerged from his chest as the seal of his clan awakened from his blood for the first time since it had been forced out ages ago. The dragon tattoo slowly weaved its way up and around Tama’s neck and face until its jaw opened up around his left eye.

Divine Form…” was all he whispered to the silence before him.

The golden light disappeared and then exploded out from around the Ryuu as he activated the old technique he had once been given by his master Mikaboshi. The force of the super powerful chakra pushed away the clutter from him and into the walls of the room before all became restful again when he focused control over it.
He raised the left hand he had written on to his face and looked on in awe at the true form of the powers he was forcing out of his body at his ill-thought out revenge. Now he was no longer channeling the powers of a dead ancient from another world, he was controlling his own powers that were naturally there in his blood to start with. He felt an energy coming from the golden light that wasn’t destructive and vengeful but instead gentle and nurturing…as the original master of this power had been; his ancestor Lady Akari the High Judge.

First order of business, Tama focused the chakra of his powers into his mind to take care of the screaming voices of the dead that had plagued him since his original loss of the power to absorb souls. They, in unison, gave out one last cry of fear before they were silenced forever. In one fell swoop the scientist had cured himself of the madness that brought about the fear and paranoia that had made him such a coward.
A painful twinge in his chest reminded the Ryuu that he had a limit on how long he could use these powers. So with a quick and near effortless shift of his energy the true born shinobi focused all of his energy into the seal created on his hand in Western Script. The glow faded from his body and focused back into a blinding light then into a soft blue glow as the energy was placed completely into the seal. Without any flair Tama placed his hand on the rune written on the ground and connected the two to cause a burst of energy to speed out in a circle around the petri dish, writing all sorts of dead language in their wake as they turned inwards to criss-cross each other until a full magic circle had been formed. With a simple urge from the scientist’s will the jutsu activated itself.

The writing in the circle began to lift itself from the ground and surround the virus in a sphere before closing in slowly on it. Once it was sealed into a full black ball he raised his hand to the orb and closed it into a fist which caused cracks and light to shine out from the ball before it shattered to reveal the petri dish unharmed with the specimen still inside of it seemingly untouched as well.
Wearily standing up and violently coughing from the after effects of activating his Divine Form he shuffled over to the dish, picked it up and began to place it on a slide for further study.
Sliding the glass into place Tama glared in wearily at the creature that had threatened his home to see that his ancient technique had done as it was intended – completely reversed it. It was still essentially a virus, but it was a virus that would attack the Worm Flu and kill it while creating antibodies from every being infected by it or any incarnation it could conceive ever again. In the end it only seemed he needed to use one theory, and ironically it had been the one he figured was the least one to work.
Only thing left to test was the possible side-effects of the virus. He imagined super-human immune systems may eventually develop in some of the shinobi…
