Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A local tavern requested the aid of the village's young and bright eyed. Perhaps they wanted to avoid the alley themselves, maybe the thought of butchering something besides what was to be cooked would sully their hands, or maybe they wanted to show the darkness the village holds to those with more purity to dampen them for later in life. In the end it doesn't matter what their intentions were, the job was laid out and the money had changed hands.

Kin made doubly sure to pack his Hell Dog on this trip, the small pistol still seeming a bit large for the child he was. The student's lackluster performance with melee combat had lead his development towards ranged tools and a weaker body did best with a gun so that he wouldn't have to depend on the strength to draw back an arrow. With tool at waist and a steady march the student arrived back to where the lights struggled to reach. Sure enough the screeches of animals echoes loudly, some noises more frantic than others.

"Sounds like three big things further back," he said to himself, trying to have his eyes adjust to the dimly lit area, the afternoon's sun flickering away. BANG, a loud noise from one of the buildings burst through it's back wall as the sounds of breaking glass pierces their windows. A number of voices could be heard bickering as Kin continued down the path, following the faint noises of scurrying feet.

The smell of meat and bread passed by his nose as a set of eyes seemed to glow white in the shadows next to a rubbish bin. Sure that it was a rat Kin drew out his Hell dog and aimed it carefully, he waited just a moment to be sure of his target before firing. Sure enough the attention caused the eyes to blink and the small shadow shifted and ran, the young boy firing off two rounds into it's shape. The sounds of gunfire echoed through the back allies and in the distance two more shots were heard. Maybe the sounds were echos or perhaps that was a separate gun entirely, Kin wasn't sure and needed to finish up his task.

The smell of food was washed away by the fumes of sulfur and gun smoke before the scent of blood crept into his nose. Trying to keep focus, as he had been taught, the student stepped forward with eyes peeled. Cracking open his weapon and replacing his two spent shots he snapped the weapon back to it's functional status.

A set of smaller eyes flashed at Kin, one white and the other yellow. Without hesitation he raised his handgun and let two fly. With skrees and then silence he knew both targets had been struck, their bodies gave way after dragging themselves just a bit further. Tears welled up in the young boy's eyes as he saw the creature's suffer. He didn't quite know why he felt sad, but their prolonged deaths echoed through him.

The animal noises which gnawed at every corner seemed silent as Kin scanned his surroundings. His job was done, he could return to his "home" and rest. "forgive me."
