Kurohebi listened to the kid and smiled slightly as he gave in and accepted the challange. They faced eachother and Kurohebi gave a curdious bow to his new opponent. He then took a stance and readied himself to the shikai's assult. He watched shikai equip himself and then apply something to his weapon. The kid was planning something, Kurohebi was alert but suddenly the kid started running towards him and began his assult. Shikai was definatly quick on his feet and his instincts seemed to be pretty sharp as well, always aiming at vital spots that could potentially harm Kurohebi further, and before he knew it Shikai began dishing out his attacks. Blow after blow the kid just kept hitting him over and over again. He managed to land three clean blows onto Kurohebi and his face twisted for an instant which would indicate pain. He then tried to gain some distance from him but the kid was gaining on him quickly, dishing out another set of attacks, seems like he was not setisfied with just three hits.

"Well done! Thats 6 hits already, do you want to continue or do you want to stop here? You won after all"

He spoke, panting a little bit while sweeping his sleeve across his forehead. He lowered his arms and stared at his opponent to see what kind of responce he gives him. He was then wondering to himself what this kid will be capable of with a little bit more training, he has a lot of potential but he didnt feel like the right material, not for what he was planning at least.

[Hashigaki Kurokawa]

Kurokawa readied herself for the second go where she knew Rina would start striking back.

"Round two Rina. Here I come"

What ability lets you suck 16 chakra from your enemy to heal over a thousand HP with no Chakra cost of your own? Cause I'm pretty sure I wanna build towards that feature. Also how does one do hidden actions?]

[Sunaku Shikai]

Shikai decided to take Kurohebi up on the offer of ending the battle in 3 hits if he could. He expected Kurohebi to focus on dodging and keeping distance so he used his extra hands to throw out feints and make his actual hits harder to dodge. He decided to go for 12 feints and six actual strikes. He knew that to take on someone so much stronger he would have to dish out an amount of strikes closer to those that Kurohebi would be used to coming from an opponent closer to his level.

When the battle started he went all in to use all of the 10 seconds to their fullest, but when he went head on against Kurohebi he was not met with someone focused especially on dodging. For some reason it seemed as if Kurohebi had either planned something that failed or did something that Shikai could not see. Either way Shikai landed 6 straight hits with his many strikes and faints. He thought he would be moving very slow seen from Kurohebis perspective but apparently he either had was it took to land some hits or Kurohebi did not take him serious at all. The first one would lead to some unfounded grandeur and the other would be an insult. Adding to that, that Kurohebi clearly didn't even look phased after getting hit despite a very brief expression of pain. It was like the punches had no effect. In straight up Taijutsu Shikai never had a chance.

"I think I'm gonna stop here and just take a rain check on the free lunch. When we are done here I have someone waiting for me at home who expects me to come straight after this."

Shikai put his hands together palm to palm and took a bow to signal his desire to call and end to the fight.

[Hashigaki Kurokawa]

After a few goes at each other it seemed Sabaku would be satified and they could stop. Kurokawa bowed to her opponent and then sat down to relax and regain her stamina after the fight. It seemed they were not as evenly matched as she had thought but those punches still went clean in and were felt.

"Good fight"

She smiled in Rinas general direction showing that she felt good testing out her strength and learning something new about her classmate through exchange of blows

[Tao]

Kurohebi was slightly disappointed with the kid's answer, he thought that if he'd let him win like this, it'd maybe cause him to gain enough confidence to go all the way, but seems like he was overestimating him. Still, he saw the potential in him and thats what was important. He smiled slighly and made his own responce

"Very well then, it was a good warm up."

He stated bluntly without considering for a moment what this kid might be expiriencing right now. He figured that he has done enough to show his teacher that he can get into one of those fancy branches, eventually he'd get there without his help, but making connections was always a good thing to consider. He took off his gloves and put them back into his pocket, then he turned to the teacher

"Is there anything else you'd like us to do, sensei? Or are we done here?"

He spoke out again, he seemed much more foreward than usual, maybe it was his patience stretching thin, maybe he picked up one of Tao's habits or maybe it was something else entierly, no one knew for sertain.

"Good fight" Rina answered.

Before she turned of her Byakugan, she looked at the other academy students and noticed something odd about Kurohebis chakra, though she didn't say anything at the time. She also noticed that Shikai had some sort of energy reserve within him, which seemed kinda like chakra but at the same time like something else.

[Kaen]

Wonderful... absolutely wonderful. The day had finnaly come to a close, along with the class. Sabaku felt that each and everyone of his students had shown great promise as future shinobi of Stone. Each had their strengths and weaknesses, and each their own unique personality. It was days like this that could bring a smile to Sabaku's face. It made him feel accomplished to help guide the young towards their goals. Almost every single student performed outstanding today... That Desu girl on the otherhand... was still napping under the tree... Nothing against her, but the class kinda requires some participation to pass.

I would like to thank you all so very much for your hard work and determination today. I am especially excited to see how you all grow and figure out your place in this world and this village. I hope you all managed to take away something positive from this class... That is all, class dismissed!


Sabaku would watch as his students slowly gathered their things and headed home. Rina, sure to be a force to be reckoned with, those eyes of hers will prove most useful in the future. Shikai... another interesting heritage... perhaps he was related to Jomei in some way.... Kurokawa... though seemingly blind, she could really hold her own, Sabaku couldn't help but feel there was more to this girl... Desu... well we already know about her... and last but not least... Kurohebi... something was... off about this kid, he was faster, stronger, and much more... ominous than any other student he had every come across... Sabaku understood that once in a great while there were prodigies... but this kid... this kid was so much more than that... he wondered if he should even be in the academy... He would need to look into this kid and watch him carefully in the future. Sabaku would gather his things and head off towards home himself. Sabaku stopped a moment before cresting the hill and glanced back a short while... Yeah... those kids will do just fine...
