"Sanae! SANAE! Would you stop running and jumping into the puddles?!"
Ears flapping into the wind, body bounding through the grassy land, a shiba inu's tongue flapped through the air as her body hopped through the puddles trickling about the forest path. It just recently rained and the dog seemed to take advantage of this, knowing it would get a reaction out of her owner that strictly hated it when she got herself dirty. If one didn't know any better, Sanae almost looked like a giant bunny in the distance. But no... She was just a dog who enjoyed taking the piss out of her beloved caretaker's annoyance. Don't get it wrong. Sanae adores her Inuzuka: Ryou. But she lived for days like this where she could annoy the teenager without a care in the world just so she could see her active, outside, and free.
Even a smile was enough, as long as Ryou was in the world.
The young lady just groaned as her dog just smiled at her, tongue lapping out of her mouth as she got her body low to the ground. It was almost as if she was mocking her; laughing at her. The greenette knew this position the dog was getting into like the back of her hand. Sanae was going to make a mad dash for it if she even got a step closer to her. It was with this turn of events that the girl concocted an idea. The teen clutched a hand to her chest and hunched over, groaning out in feigned pain before collapsing to the ground. It was with almost a straight face that Ryou had fainted and seemed a bit peaceful. Almost as if all the worries had washed away in the last moments of her fake death.
Sanae straightened up her legs and seemed confused at first, her happiness immediately disappearing from her face before the dog raced over to inspect. The shibe sniffed at Ryou's hair and did a circle around her fallen form to investigate once, twice, and even three times before licking her snout and whimpering. Surely, she couldn't have just died, right? There was no way. With another whimper, the dog began tugging at Ryou's jacket to see if she could gain a reaction.
Nothing.
It was then that Sanae took Ryou's glasses and threw them on the ground.
Not even a twitch.
Beginning to panic, the dog began barking at the environment around her. Surely, someone would come and investigate, right? The fact that her owner had just collapsed distressed her, after all.
