Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

He watched as his fist made contact with the hard wood of the tree planted in front of him. His attacks do little to effect the piece of nature, but his brushed hands covered in white wrapping showed him which one was winning the fight. Still, he knew that his current level of physical strength couldn't bring down a whole tree, but that wasn't the purpose here. Simply punching the tree helped the boy build strength and endurance in his strikes which he used as a form of training.

Rakutsu had a lot going through his head as of late. The student tournament was still fresh in his mind and he wasn't very happy with the results of his fight. He was put againest a fellow Uchiha named Ryo in the third match of the first round, but didn't fight for a very long time. The match was over quickly as he was taken down by the Uchiha quickly. He didn't actual get entirely beaten down, but he knew at that point that he wasn't gonna win. Knowing this, he did the smart thing and quit. No point in fighting when you know your gonna lose.

Rakutsu didn't show it, but he was shocked and horrified at his easy defeat. He spent his entire childhood training and doing his best to become a good shinobi of the leaf and a accecptable student of the academy. He always believed that he was very strong, but fighting a fellow student grounded him back to reality. He became angry with himself at the fact that all of his work until then was insulted by this defeat.

He doesn't even know why he was this mad. The tournament was meant to be a learning experience, but he was taking this to heart more than he should. With his defeat recently, he decided to go out into the forest around the village to train, but to also clear his head. He couldn't think properly if he was angry at himself.

Rakutsu stepped away from his campsite finding himself in front of a stream of water. Cupping his wrapped hands, he held a small amount of water in them before splashing it on his face. It annoyed him a little knowing that his shirt was now a little wet, but the refreshing feeling was totally worth it. But it wasn't enough.

Completely dropping to his knees, he stuck his face in the natural water source and started drinking to his hearts content. More than twenty seconds passed before he pulled his head up for air. This might be the first time he was thirsty to the point of acting greedy. But it wasn't like he was capable of sucking of the entire lake so the fishes still had a home.

Satisfied, he made his way back to his camp ignoring the fact that his entire head and upper part of his shirt was now soaking wet. It annoyed him sure, but not to the point where he would go insane. He will simply wait for it to dry off.

At the campsite, there were sure very interesting things that one may be able to use to chill and relax, like the surrounding trees, and the campfire that the boy was using right now would most certainly warm up the one who has also stepped into the camping area on a whim. It seemed that she was lost and that she had nowhere else to go.

When she entered the camp, it started to smell a lot like sunflowers, she didn’t smell like wilted ones either, and it was strange to smell sunflowers for the type of season it was, but it didn’t stop the flowery stench from expanding to the whole of the camp area.

With a sigh on her lips, she twirled her grey locks and walked towards the academy student with a small smile on her face, he looked angry… maybe calming him down was a good idea first before she got into anything. For now, though, she would like to talk to him as well, maybe get to know him a little better and maybe even pinch his fire for a few hours.

“You seem angry, wayward one…” She spoke with honour but also with a sense of calmness in her tone. “Would you like to talk about it??” She may as well help him if she wanted to have his fire for some warmth. "Because I will be happy to help you if you actually need it, I promise. Just... let me stay by your fire for a while for a few hours of warmth and a good chat."

"Screw it." Rakutsu muttered in a low tone of voice while pulling off his tank top. He walked over to a tree with a long branch hanging out and hung the shirt over it to dry. The wet sensation of the shirt as it hug his body started bothering him greatly. Might as well leave it out so the wind can dry it. Letting out an annoy sigh, he walked back over to the campfire where his bag was and took out a small hand towel used to dry sweat off of his face.

A mental note was made to bring an actual towel next time as he dried his upper chest with the hand towel. The sound of foot steps was enough to distract him from this minor yet annoy problem. His head snapped in the direction of the young woman and simply staired at her with a surprised expression.

"Um...go ahead." He said signaling her to a spot next to the fire after a few moments of silences. It was weird that he was willing to give this stranger shelter. He should have been more cautious because this could have been a ninja from a different village. Maybe a scout trying to spy on the leaf village. However, he had a strange feeling that he didn't need to worry about such thoughts. Maybe it wasn't a bad idea to lend this person a hand.

"I'm not sure if you want to listen to some kid ramble on about his problems. It will get annoying real fast."
