Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Saki's heels touched elegantly down the relatively empty streets of the early morning, fog still lingering lazily in between the high mountain buildings, birds twittering about in their own urban-adapted routine, caring little for the world below them. Villagers hustled one way and bustled another, all going about their morning routines with an equal amount of apathy that the birds had for them, that Saki himself had for them. Any cordial how-do-you-dos as he passed were met with a calculated smile almost as stiff as his posture, or as the new suits he'd recently purchased to fit his new role. Robes were a fine article of clothing, and probably still his preferred choice of attire... but a sennin must look the part, after all. He stopped to observe himself in a shop window to make sure he still looked immaculate. His navy suit was still crisp, and the pinstripe shirt still worked well. His hair, tied back in a loose tail, had a few flyaways that needed correction, but other than that, all was still good.

Saki took a breath, turned, and the clicking resumed.

The walls of the academy were both a comfort and a bitter memory. They simultaneously sparked an honorable, tasteful sense of duty in Saki, as well as served as a sick reminder of the Headmaster. The lunatic. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't other reasons he stays close to kids.

He shook the thought of Maru out of his head and refocused on why he was here in the first place: upcoming graduating students. The medical branch was in shambles with the disappearance of the previous sennin, and that needed to be remedied. Hopefully, there would be some students interested in learning about it.

A stiff, unfamiliar figure wandered through the academy, drawing the attention of one of the students and his companion. The two boys were mirror images of each other, save for their hair and eye color. They both had their opposite coloured hair in short tails, held back by ribbons.

Usually they used more simple hair ties, but they had been drawn to the fancier look of the ribbons. The human of the two had a gold ribbon to match his eyes in his black hair, while the kami had a red ribbon that matched his own eyes in his white hair.

The human tentatively approached the man. “Uhm, is there anything we could help you with?” The boy asked timidly but with enough sincerity to tell that the words were genuinely meant. “My name’s Eizou, and he’s ‘Kari,” He introduced. “I’m a student here,” He added, in case it wasn’t obvious.

Nagis ahad wanted to get herself lost in this city and sure enough, she did just that. One knew that while traveling it was always a benefit to loose yourself because that was the most interesting way to see a city you have never seen before. The best food was there, the best sights, and sometimes secrets. WellNagisa had no interest in learning too many secrets but she wanted to get the life pulse of the city and the nation. Were they doing well? Food supply coining in ok? Economy going well? If we were to be allies it would benefit them both to know of each other.

Nagisa was in her standard blue monk attire, herself wearing a small blue jacked that reached just past the small of her back. Her deep blue eyes looked as a man was, who was apparently lost in a memory, was approached by two young ones. Well this was something.

"Excuse me. I an Nagisa. I seem to be lost in this villiage of yours and I was hoping for some directions!"

She made no attempt to hide the Leaf headband that was currently hugging her hips as she looked at the three of them.

Lost in thought, as he had found himself so often lately, Saki hadn't even noticed the two children approach him from... well, one of the classrooms probably. The clicking of his heels came to a resounding stop, their echoes no longer bouncing off of the empty halls, as his neck mechanically turned to see the two presumable students. They had a strange appearance, not unlike twins fed up with being mistaken for one another. They had opposing color schemes to their appearance--one gold and black, the other red and white. Outside of that, they appeared to be impossibly, intentionally identical. Agreeable ribbons adorned their long hair, holding it back and out of the way, much like his own.

Saki was delighted at the attention to aesthetics, and donned a welcoming grin.

"Hello, pleasure to meet you, Eizou and Kari. I'm surprised I haven't run into more students yet, honestly."

Saki straightened his posture to an impossible degree, infinitesimally more correct than it was previously. How long had it been since he'd been here at the academy? Sixteen, seventeen years? That was a different time. A different Saki. The perpetual pain in his back rolled up and through his left arm again, threatening to peel back the façade of perfection that he wore at all times. He winced ever so slightly, but managed to maintain his overall composure.

"My name is Saki. I'm the--"

Saki felt a wave of annoyance pour over him as someone behind him interrupted him. If there were anything Saki couldn't stand, it was rudeness, and interrupting was its epitome. He turned and saw a dark-skinned woman with a kind of robe-like attire, noticeably tailored to fit her perfectly, with a leaf headband across her waist. Well isn't that something. A Leaf shinobi? Tensions are high with them. What could she possibly be doing in the academy?

"Hello, Nagisa,"
Saki repeated, the slightest hint of annoyance breaking through his voice. Hopefully, it would be mistaken for formality. "You've stumbled across the shinobi academy, where classes should be beginning soon. As I was saying," and Saki stepped back slightly to see Eizou, Kari, and Nagisa all at once, "I am the recently-appointed sennin of the medical branch, and I was hoping to give an announcement in one of the graduating classrooms this morning. I'm afraid that the department I've inherited is in a bit of a shambled state in the wake of my predecessor's sudden disappearance, and I'm hoping to interest some students into joining it once they've finished here."

Saki paused for a brief moment and craned his head towards Nagisa, mouth slightly open as he looked for the words he wanted to say.

"I'm sorry... Nagisa, was it? Is there a particular place you're looking for? Perhaps I can escort you when I'm finished here."

Nagisa watched hte man with cool interest. So she happened to stumble into the current Medical Sennin of Cloud of all people. Well fortune favors the bold it seemed.

"Fate is kind to us it seems. My full name is Kishiko Nagisa and I am the Medical Sennin of Leaf. I accompanied the Hokage here to oversee the peace treaty between our nations. He is currently being protected by his wife and body guard so I wanted to roam around. before the talks began. I admit I wanted to see your hospital at some point and would be interested in starting a working relationship sooner rather than later."

Nagisa would smile a toothy smile.

"I prefer research over the healing properties of water in all of its forms. Do you have any area of expertise?"
