Character's Physical Description: Midori is a fairly young looking vampire woman with dark colored eyes and a noticeably heftier physique than most shinobi women weighing around 322 and standing around 6'3. Midori's chubby cheeks are rosy with black rimmed glasses sitting on her face. Her raven hair is styled with low fluffy pigtails so she could wear a blue and red traditional looking hat which is fastened to her head by an elastic thread so it doesn't move when she's trying to hop around. This hat has a taliman attached to it which oddly enough doesn't seem to get damaged from things like water and it even stretches when someone goes pulling on it since the thing is made of some kinda weird magic. Her style of clothing also looks traditional with a bit of modernism with her plus sized Magua, long sleeve blue collared shirt, purple pants, a pair of gloves and a pair of boots. She also has a bell tied to the lower back of her and on her hip is a flask full of chocolate syrup that she keeps on her at all times. She also has milky-white teeth adorn with large fangs that made speaking properly a bit of a challenge.
Character's Mental Description: Midori is usually known for her bubbly, often goofy personality. While she prides herself as being a creature of the night, she often comes off as being kind and hard-working when it comes to hospital work but like any vampire she loves things dark and spooky. She is also known for her funny vampire accent as well, sounding english with her W's sounding like V's and her S's sounding like Z's. On top of her heavy accent thanks to her fangs she also has a minor speech impediment making her voice sound almost comical. Midori is kind to a point but by no means a perfect angel. She is a bit narcissistic, loving to talk about herself to other people but doesn't usually take critisim very well. Midori is also a flair for the dramatic, speaking in poetic words that no one really uses anymore and acting often carrying herself as a proper young woman. Quirky, silly, and sometimes a bit rude she is quite interesting.
Character History:
Midori had always been bigger than most girls. As an Akimichi her diet consisted of straight chocolate and food which had to have some kind of chocolate on it or she would throw a huge temper tantrum. When she was about 5 years old, an incident happened where she accidentally tipped over and fell into a vat of chocolate for three days in which she had nothing to eat but the chocolate to survive. Luckily she was shaved by a fellow chubby clown man who worked in the chocolate factory she was stuck in and even gave the child free chocolate for life so her parents wouldn't sue them. Midori's parents were obese so they decided that if they get the free chocolate for life too they wouldn't press any charges. The factory agreed, no news or press just free chocolate for the family!
When it came time to go join the academy, she wasn't exactly talented in things like running since she gets tired fast and she definitely was no good at using genjutsu. Luckily she did get the basics down such as being able to punch and do at least the basics when it came jutsu that allowed her to get through to graduation. Midori choice in going into a branch was the medical branch because not only did it not involve that much exercise but she believed that she'd do better if she wasn't on the front lines. Not to mention doctors made pretty good money anyway, so she was sold on joining the medical branch. When she began as a trainee started off with shadowing and helping other medical-nins to learn the in and outs of the branch. She also had to go through a lot of testing to prep her for the medical exam, including some assisting a medical nin with field work. She did surprisingly well during her training, in fact she did so well that she was eventually recommended for her medi-nin exam in which Midori had passed allowing her to move up to medi-nin at the ripe age of 15.
Being a full medi-nin was something that she wanted more than anything, however reality set in when she was given responsibility after responsibility. Heal this person, help this division leader with research, train other MIT. It was really tiresome and stressful to say the least. But one day, she was given a mission to go on a mission with a few peers in gathering some herbs in the heartlands. At this point she was more than happy to go out since on these kinds of missions she could usually have a few chocolate breaks. However, while on this gathering expedition she ran into some trouble with a really tough Froghemoth that attacked the young group. The Giant amphibian creature was strong as hell, but Midori was strong enough to beat the thing down without breaking a sweat successfully saving her team from becoming mince meat. What she didn't know was that the thing had a toxic chakra spike on its back so powerful that if it got pricked with it you'd suffer from its poison. She was a melee fighter so when she crushed the thing her whole hand was covered in the spikes. They quickly abandoned the mission since none of them carried any annidotes with them but they weren't able to find a hospital for her since they were a long way from the village. Desperately they ran, carrying the heavy girl as she got worse and worse. Eventually they saw a shady looking hut that had a large red cross painted in what looked like blood. Skulls and bones decorated the entrance of the hut which gave them all red flags. They were desperate so they went in to find a man who dressed and smelled funny stirring some weird liquid that glowed green.
They begged for the man to help, crying their eyes out and the witch doctor took pity on them. He made a mirror clone for them to replace Midori while she recovered, shooing them off while he worked his magic on the new specimen. Her team left Midori in the witch doctors care, taking the clone to gather the materials. Little did they know there wasn't much he could do since living people weren't really his speciality, so he waited for Midori to expire before he got to work. Using a special serum which combines the mutation found in the bloodthirsty Kyonshi, the immorality of the revenant, along with a hint of corrupted chakra to resuscitate the body and Midoriwas alive once more! If you can live it.
When Midori woke up, she was confused and hungry. Her body was stiff however luckily a woman wearing black came out of the shadows to feed her… something. Whatever it was cured her stiffness enough for her to sit up, the taste was nothing like she ever tasted before. It was unique, addictive even, she even sucked on her own tongue to savour every drop. Won't bore you with the details but basically the witch doctor had transformed Midori into a jiangshi and she must consume blood at least once a week. Small dogs are okay but in order to be sated she'd need to drain a whole human of all their blood. Also due to the nature of her new found gift, every time she goes to sleep her legs stiffen up to the point where they don't bend forcing her to hop around for a while though she quickly discovered that practicing some tai chi really helps with the stiff limbs.
Adjusting to life as a jiangshi, she continued with medical work after explaining what happened with the frog and the witch doctor with her supervisor. She lived mostly off of animal blood, using some of her funds to purchase cattle to drink dry. Sure it wasn't good, but Midori saw the taste more of a mature flavor and on the plus side was that she was still able to enjoy chocolate so long as her blood craving was satisfied. People noticed her fangs but she always brushed it off as it being bloodline genes for the people who didn't have to know about her condition. She worked tirelessly, now that she was some human/vampire/zombie hybrid she actually had more energy than she had before. She started enjoying her job, from training other medical-nins to healing the wounded things were going great.
That was until everyone vanished, an unexplainable phenomenon happened where almost everyone just simply went away. Since there weren't any trainees she had to work her butt off to keep Kumogakure healthy, she may have had to push away certain surgeries since the new Raikage planned on doing them personally since there were so many people with little cases that needed to be attended to. The branch sorta became… dead. With the lack of leadership in the branch, this opened up an opportunity for the unsavory types. There had been problems with a few people in the bloodline anatomy department who were stealing organs to sell off in the Kumogakure underground. Thankfully they were discovered, and properly dealt with by the new Raikage during this time when the Medical-Branch didn't have much supervision. The Midori only reason for sticking around was due to her will that maybe she could help from the sidelines. She kept below the radar, hoping her hard work will be rewarded and all good things come to those who wait. The job for medi-nin sennin opened, she submitted her little resume to show all the good she's done so far and all the lives she's saved. She made the cut, now it was time to figure out just how will she build this branch up from the ground up. The story begins with a person who's made it, how will our chubby vampire zombie keep the medical branch moving forward? Guess you'll see…
Kinjutsu Request- Revenant
"Avake mai plump creation!"
That was the first thing Midori heard as the world faded in again. The voice almost sounded as though it was coming from her head, almost like how she saw the chocolate god before she passed out from… something. As she tried to sit up, her whole body was feeling stiff as Midori couldn't push herself up since the joints in elbows just wouldn't move. 'Oh-no!' she thought. 'I can't get up! I didn't get that big overnight, did I?' Midori tried using her arms again, but to no use. At this point she was staring in some room or whatever that was pitch black, looking around her to see if she could see anything Midori sucked in some air then tried to sit herself up. You see Midori was out of shape and couldn't sit up to have her life. So she struggled for a bit, getting her upper back halfway off the table before plopping her big self back down in which unintentionally caused the table she was laying on to collapse!
At this point she could hear a man and a female chuckling in the darkness. Angry, she made her hands and forearms stretch out like rubber so she could push herself off the floor without using her elbows since they seem a bit too stiff right now. Once she forced herself up she turned to see a short figure of a man in a cloak and boy was she hungry. Like really hungry. Looking at the short man, she licked her lips and the short figure backed away. "Vait, vait, vait! Try dis first, eet is better than me madam." the hooded witch doctor gave Midori some weird open vial in which she snatched it from the man to down the whole thing without question. While she was still hungry, her elbows could bend again and when she noticed this Midori couldn't help say how it was working. “Vhy doctor, you've healed mai ztiff zoints! Bleeh!" she exclaimed, realizing how her voice sounded a little… weird. “Uhhh… doc-tor do you mind telling me vhy mai voice zoundz like a Count Dracula reject? Thiz akzent zeems new to me.” she asked the doctor noticing her eyes got pretty adjusted to the pitch black room, or hut that she was in. A booming female laughter came from one side of the hut and which made Midori would then turn her head towards where she heard the noise to see a hand striking a match to light a single candle which had their side of the hut a bit more visible.
It was a young woman, a pale skinned, pointed eared, purple eyed woman who was holding up a wine glass filled with a red liquid. "My dear, jiangshi has finally avaken from her slumb- KNOCK THAT OFF DAMNIT!"
Midori was touching the woman's pointy ears, putting both hands up as she stopped examining them to see if they were real. “I apologize, just vanted to zee if zhey vere real. Medical purposes!" Midori explained.
"Vell don't! If you vant to examine ears, examine your own!" the woman scolded, making the woman forget the whole dramatic scene that she had practiced for this particular moment! "Bleh! You've throvn me off script! Look here's the deal. You are nov a undead beast who feast on blood. You're semi immortal now, just avoid things like mirrors, fire, garlic, peach trees, black dogs, black donkeys, brooms and a lot of other things you'll figure out. No sunlight doesn't burn you alive and yes you'll need blood to survive but you can eat regular food but blood is a must. Look at it as medicine to keep you from dying. Oh and the stiffest part of your body is your knees so I recommend jumping because running is out of the question.
Well that's… unexpected? Midori was some vampire zombie hybrid? This gots to be some kinda joke. “Do you reelly believe that I, Midori, vould take yer vord for this rubbish! Vhere's your proof!" she screamed at the woman. It was easy enough, since she simply offered her glass to Midori and she quickly snatched it then downed the whole. 'Wow, that was nothing like I've ever tasted before! It's not sweet, not entirely good either but not entirely bad. It was… unlike anything I've ever tasted before.'

"Nay. I've vas just confirming your assessment my dear." she waved her hand dismissively. "Vhat you just drank vas blood. Please let me know if you need more proof of your condition."
Ooookay so she was probably a jiangshi… but this condition might get in the way of being medical nin. Like, the whole idea of the branch was that she was there to save the lives of fellow shinobi. That would be a little hard giving the fact that she might end up accidentally eating her patients. Luckily the woman gave her at least some information on controlling the hunger. Blood from farm animals work just fine, while she could drink from humans animal blood works for controlling the hunger it just won't grant her any special abilities like drinking from a shinobi would. Also she didn't have the same kind of lack of impulse control like certain members who were artificially turned into a bloodsucker. From the method they used, the only reason that Midori would have to feed on human blood would be because she wanted to feed on human blood, not because she is hungry.
Still once Midori accepted her new… condition, she went off to adjust to her new life. Some of her co-workers noticed that she was hopping around the hospital instead of just walking but Midori was an odd ball to begin with so no one really took notice of it. She also had to have herself registered as a revenant, mostly because Midori wanted to go about the legal process of obtaining blood without having to go around killing people. Besides around this time, her stretching capabilities were advrage at best and she wouldn't be able to catch anyone anyway. The hospital interrogated her vigurosly, asking if it was a member of their branch that allowed her to obtain the kinjutsu and who excatly was it that did this to her. Midori explained that it was a couple of wanderer's who had to turn her into a vampire-zombie hybrid in order to save her life. They didn't have antinodes and they were simply good people just trying to help. They at least took this into consideration, ordering for her to do more tests and having her kinjutsu restigered so she can receive donor's for her kinjutsu should she need them.
With her kinjutsu now legally registered, Midori soon discovered that her body was a lot more…. Stretchy than usual. Like with her own abilities she was simply capable of just growing her limbs, now she could actually extend them to travel at a distance making grabbing things without breaking stuff a bit easier. Guess vampire blood enhanced her akimichi capabilities so she wouldn't just be able to grow but now she can also stretch her limbs. It almost reminded her of this cool manga series about a pirate made of rubber. Another thing she could do with her powers, at least from what she was told, if she drank a human to the point of death or devoured their heart she'd be able to summon them as a jiangshi later. Midori doesn't know yet because she hasn't had any human blood yet, nor has she requested a donor yet. Baby steps. Gotta crawl first before she learned how to run.
This however wasn't all good since Midori began to have a really big phobia of seeing her own reflection in any surface. Also that woman who gave her vampire ed seemingly left out the part about if someone like spilled rice or dropped coins on the ground she would have a sudden urge to count them which is not fun! Imagine hopping around one day to go to your favorite restaurant and some clumsy waiter drops like a jar of rice. Guess who's gonna have to count them all. This vamp! Nonetheless she adjusted well to her new life as a jiangshi. These small quirks of her's were only minor compared to what films and books tell about vampirism. Midori was able to control her urges to eat people to instead help them stay healthy. She lived the life of the friendly neighborhood vampire doctor but of course in due time she'll have to request a donor or even drink from a person whom is still alive. She couldn't avoid fighting forever, even medical nins had to show skills in combat and if she is going to rise in her rank as a medical nin (while not making a fool of the branch by being useless like the pink haired girl of konoha) Midori needed to try a little bit of cannibalism in order to get stronger.
