Zhao arrives to the gates of the country, unarmed and with just a large backpack, and looks for an officer.
"Sir, I mean no ill, but I'm leaving Wind Country. In body and soul." Hai Fen said, holding his hand to his face dramatically. But actually being quite serious about it. The officer raises an eyebrow.
"I've been a prisoner for years, deprived of not only Wind Country, but my homeland as well!" he continues, extending an arm. "And while I am extremely grateful for the opportunities given to me by Wind Country, I must return. I must return to Water Country. I've got to find my family! My people! What if there are survivors, what if there is still hope?! I have to go back!"
"Huh? What?" the man replies. "That place is like, frozen over and stuff."
"I have to try!" Zhao insists. "I mean no ill to Wind Country, but I cannot be bound by its responsibilities any longer! I wish to peacefully surrender my citizenship, for my true allegiance and heart belongs to my homeland. Here, my passport."
"Eh?" the guard then asks, cringing. "Are you serious?"
"FAREWELL, WIND COUNTRY!" Zhao then declares, and throws a smokebomb to the ground, to disappear from the view of those less versed in shinobi arts, and begin to flee.
