Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Edit #1: Clotting Powder was used last round so Miraku wouldn't be able to recover HP. Also, I had an action in the wrong color.

Ao collapsed to his knees as the last of Miraku's hits landed. The chakra cloak the had previously surrounded the mercenary blinked out of existence, leaving behind the smell of burnt hair and wisps of smoke that drifted from Ao's body. Ao look exhausted and relieved at the same time, a slight smile was on his face.

"I guess... You were too fast for me at the end....." Ao began to sway, the corners of his vision began to darken. There was a rage building inside of Ao that was not his own. Suddenly grey chakra burst out of Ao and shot upwards towards the sky, in an instance it was gone. Ao collapsed fully to the ground, He was out cold, but there was something else as well. His arms had disappeared along with the sour smelling grey chakra. Had the two been connected somehow? What did this mean? Had whatever Ao had been sharing his body with left him?

Med-nin rushed to Ao's side. First they checked his pulse and breathing. He was alive and stable, but he was in a severely weakened state. One of the med-nin summoned a gurney from a summoning scroll and then med-nin worked to role the incapacitated Ao onto it. After they had successfully moved the mercenary onto the transportation device they lifted in tandem and began to carry the mercenary away. The fight had clearly cost him dearly, but it may have also saved him...

[OOC: Great fight Miraku! Best of luck to you in the remainder of the tournament!]

And so, as both men had given it their all, it had come down to one final exchange. Miraku knew it had to end here, or he wouldn't be able to sustain himself any further. Quickly, he reached into his pouch, pulling out a pill as he popped it into his mouth, swallowing it. The pill kicked in immediately, a pill that would give him extra energy to finish this alive. As he began to rush towards his enemy with hasted steps, the crowd grew silent in his ears. Ao wove his handseals before fire was sent flying towards the Cloud shinobi. Seeing it before him, Miraku shot off to the right slightly, feeling the heat as he felt himself release his energy, knowing that he had bought himself a moment by avoiding the attack, as his sword swung forward, cutting into his enemy once move, his movements sped up even further as he quickly moved his hand, cutting eight times into his opponent before following through. Turning around quickly to face his opponent again, he watched as the man fell to his knees. He began to speak, his words fading out slightly as he seemed dizzy. Miraku knew it was over now, and used his energy to rush towards Ao to see if he could help before suddenly a large amount of grey chakra flew out of him into the sky and Ao fell to the ground. Not paying attention to the changes, he became worried, hoping the man was alright before suddenly Medic's rushed into the ring to look at the two of them.

He had done it. Miraku had managed to win the fight, but what would this mean? More fame? More adoration? More expectations? He wasn't sure he liked how that sounded, missing the idea of being an unknown entity. Either way, there was nothing he could do about that now. His skills has been on display for all to see. Even if he had held back some of his fighting abilities, other countries would know of him and have ideas on how to defeat him. Such a tournament was costly, but that was the burden of proving his skills to himself. He could feel his energy running out now as he was on nothing but fumes at this point. Medics were around him, trying to check him out, but he began walking, heading toward the exit. He didn't want to appear to be completely done after his first match, so he resolved to leave on his own two feet. After exiting the arena, he would collapse down against a wall, allowing the medics to take him off to be treated properly so he could be ready for his next fight. Surely it wouldn't be an easy fight either.
