Yet another request had been made for Uri to return to Soon's to repair one of their numerous entertainment facilities. This time it wasn't to rebuild it from nothing, but to perform some maintenance that it badly needed. Ironically, had someone been up-keeping, this mission wouldn't have been needed. Luckily for them, Uri didn't mind returning to Soon's or helping build new supports for the stage. He had heard the music of The Rockers and also knew of their origins. They weren't named as such for their musical genre, but also because they were stony in physical form as well. The stage in its weathered state would be able to sustain a normal band, but these particular performers would strain the stressed stage to unsafe limits and put all nearby at risk.
As Uri headed down the merchant's tunnels to get to Soon's, he took a good stride while sketching in a notebook of his. However, unlike many people, he stopped drawing once he got his preliminary plan down. As the graphite in his pencil was just another mineral for him to manipulate. Open palm against the back of the ring-bound book, the drawing shifted and change as his mind worked out how to best deal with his problem, to shape the solution literally while note wasting too many materials in planning or in execution. Precision was key, but so was pricing. Soon's merchants were known for decadence, but they were often times frugal when it came to maintaining venues as it didn't directly line their pockets. The shows that played there did, and since this particular show looked like it was sold-out, many people from Sunagakure in attendance too, they wanted to make sure the show went off without a hitch.
It didn't take long for Uri to arrive and to be greeted by the same group of general contractors he had the pleasure of working with before on other construction projects within Soon's. Once they were at the site and he was brought to the foreman's workspace, he laid out his preliminary sketches for the support stilts they would need to fabricate in order to maintain the stage for the show and then some. It also went into detail for a new stage and amphitheater since the current one didn't seem like it would last much longer at its current rate, but that was a point for later when they were all said and done. The craftsman arrived and helped refine the design a little bit more, making a hydraulic system that would take on the excess weight from the performers whenever they shifted about on stage, make it a lot more stable and less likely to collapse under their great poundage.
The better part of the aftenoon was spent on the creation of the lift system and then the remainder of the day was dedicated towards the construction of the platform to contain the new addition. Needless to say, they completed it on-time and beyond expectations. The new plans for the stage were also well-received and would be looked into for future consideration.
