Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Description

Physical
A cropped, auburn head of hair stands out from Rippuru's cream-coloured skin. Though his facial features are rather angular-high cheekbones, a rather elongated, sharp chin-the rest of his body is more compact and muscular, which again, contrasts to his gangly, almost lanky, extremities and according height. His left eye is a vivid gold, whilst his right eye constantly changes colours: almost as if a kaleidoscope was lazily drifting through his iris whenever it deemed it convenient to do so.

Personality
Though a bit timid by nature, he is quite sociable and will go out on a limb to help another he barely knows-just to gain their trust. Once he's comfortable with someone-which usually doesn't take long, truth be told-he becomes extremely extroverted, but still quite ponderous at times. Happy-go-lucky by nature, it takes a lot to get him down, but he always bounces back, eager to jump back into the fray of his life.

History
His family name literally meaning "the last", Rippuru was the sixth child born out of five. He was born after a twin brother, who died several minutes after his mother gave birth to them-her life giving out with her child's. His father, an upstanding member of their small town on the outskirts of the Land of Grass, was a gracious and patient man, always caring for all of his children, despite being the only parental figure in the household. On the outside, it looked to the community like everything was fine with the Saigo family, and for the most part, it was. However, even the most cultured persons have their...tendencies.
His father, hiding a secret obsession, began to spend hours in their cellar, during which the shutters of the house would shake, low moans, and even several screams could be heard once the parent had descended the stairs. Though disciplined thoroughly to never enter the cellar, Rippuru's curiosity got the best of him and he picked the complex lock that led down into the dark, musty hole.
Peeking around the corner of the stairwell, he was able to decipher his father sitting inside some sort of circle, communing with...nothing? As Rippuru peered closer, he noticed a faint outline and a soft, keening sound that chilled him to the core. Standing-or, rather, hovering-was a sort of spectre, seemingly conversing with his father in that eerie language that grew louder as the youngest Saigo crept closer to where his father sat.
"Dad? What are you doing?" Incredulity infused with not a little revulsion had crept into his voice.
His father, hearing his son's voice, instantly turned around, panic evident upon his face. Simultaneously, the wraith snapped its head upright and stared directly at Rippuru. For one second, time stood still. Then, with a terrible shrieking, the spirit plunged towards Rippuru, ghastly claws outstretched to snare him. His father, acting swiftly, threw an odd, spiral-inscribed shaped stone into the air and rapidly signed a cascade of hand-signs, ending with a barked word that Rippuru couldn't make out.
And suddenly, without so much as a sound or a flash of light, the spectre and his father were gone-along with the house and everything inside of it, almost as if the house and the memories within had never existed at all. Though he looked for hours, screaming and calling his family, asking the other villagers, even looking for tracks in the nearby woods, he only found two clues to his family's bizarre disappearance. The first was the stone that he had seen his father use in his last moments; the second being that his eyes had changed from a deep, emerald green to a pair of outlandish optical freaks of nature.
Without answers, and without the knowledge to understand the events that had transpired, Rippuru began his long journey to the Village Hidden in the Clouds, where he had heard that even the most mystical things could be explained...if one had the will to seek them out.
