The young shinobi had decided to work on the actual rehearsal for his puppets and how will they act on the field of battle. With Dokuso was his favorite and only puppets he made public– Shi and Jill. The two doll like puppets stood on the training grounds as stiff as toy soldiers, seemingly on their own when all actuality Dokuso just wanted to make them seem as real as could be. But their faces gave off a sense that they didn't want to fight, Jill’s expression on her face was full of sadness while Shi looked worried as always. The young shinobi never knew why he chose to make these two look so gloomy, nor why he felt a strange bond to them like they were actually people. Perhaps because he had no siblings nor friends he decided to instead make them how he envisioned how people should be. A doll can last forever, they can be created over and over. A doll can be improved, they don't die like humans do. A doll is eternal….
Pushing aside his thoughts, he began to make the chakra threads visible now and Maru began to pull the strings. He decided to make the two battle it out to see possible scenarios that he and his dolls might encounter. First Jill Released the three blades inside its knuckles, then the unfortunate Shi got into her fighting stance going in unarmed. For hours on in Jill and Shi did little skits on fighting, Jill using her blades and needles to impales the poor girl while Shi was desperately trying to protect Maru from getting caught into the crossfire. Maru thought about why with Shi that he gave her the personality of protecting him. It was probably because she had been a supporter and she was created to help him when he needed it
After a while of practicing he decided to give Shi a break, gazing up at the sky chuckling to himself. “Well that's enough acting for today, I see you need a few touches that need to be made in order to actually make you useful.” Dokuso said to Shi, not looking at her all crumbled to the floor like a marionette with her strings cut. Finally looking down he picked Shi up, brushing her hair out of her face and tossed her over his shoulder and while having Jill float through the air. Shi looked battered, her dress was torn, her back was riddled with needles, and she had cracks upon her in several places. Jill had a few cracks but not as serious. “Back to the workshop!”
