Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shuu glanced at her clock, smirking when she realized what time it was. Moving to Exam Room Four, she glanced at the three huge cats currently patiently awaiting whomever was to come oversee them. As Shuu arrived she entered fearlessly--where no one else had dared go in, and even set up a gurney hallway block with rumors that they could open doors--she looked to the three laid-back felines. The Lyrons Maximus, Zero, and Integer were all quite content, Maximus laying down with Zero laying her head on his torso, and Integer just generally sniffing around and getting used to the place. Shuu grinned at this.

"Thank you for volunteering...Interger, is it?" Sousuke's mission brief had detailed which was which, and Shuu was fine with that. "Hop up on the exam table." She patted the table and Integer just looked at her like the medic was insane. Shuu smirked. These beasts were highly intelligent, and respected strength. It's why they now followed Sousuke so faithfully. Without flinching she released her Devastating Aura jutsu, causing the beasts to are her as a major threat. They flattened their ears and began to growl quietly, at which point Shuu patted the table again.

"Now." Interger obeyed, and in response Shuu dropped the aura, making the room way less tense and allowing the felines to calm. They were not stupid, they knew instantly that I'd they did what Shuu said she would not be a threat. That was all it took to coerce cooperation from the gigantic metal felines.

As Integer hopped up Shuu began her examination, corroborating with all three where necessary. The first thing she noticed was that the skin of the Lyrons was actual a metal matrix composite. In this case a hard bone-like substance was woven into a metal matrix to form their outer layer. The metal was of a composition she'd never seen before, though it seemed very chemically similar to both cobalt and tungsten carbide. This new material, one she was for now nicknaming 'Sousukanium', seemed very resilient and was high-strength and low-wear at the same time, making it very durable. This skin alone probably gave them boosted physical strength. The fact that it was weaved into a metal matrix composite with part of the Lyron's own organic makeup, however, meant that it was lighter than a solid coating of pure metal, and much softer and more flexible. However, because of it they needed to be larger and denser to withstand the heavier weight of the metal matrix composite, which accounted for their greater size. Their natural healing added to their physical resilience, making these creatures truly difficult to kill. A blessing if they're friend, a curse if they're foe.

As far as their internal physiology was considered, they were remarkably similar to their smaller feline cousins, though a much larger brain with noticeably engorged deductive reasoning centers and memory centers made it clear that they were actually highly intelligent. As for their general health, Integer actually seemed to have a mild respiratory infection, and Maximus was still suffering a few minor injuries, but nothing that wasn't healing in a textbook fashion. Zero was in perfect condition.

She prescribed some medicine for the infection--one that Sousuke would probably have to administer himself orally--and finished up. All things considered, they would be excellent research subjects. Not lab animals, but things to be studied and learned from. She made a note to ask for access to them in the future to study them. They responded well to her strength, and wouldn't give her much trouble since she was kind and gentle to them, and even offered them treats at the end of their individual exams. Now to call Sousuke and get him to retrieve the giant animals before the rest of the hospital staff transitioned into freaking out.
