Amy's emerald eyes scanned the list she had just been given by the elderly woman that had lived down the street from her and her father for as long as the young shinobi could remember. Nodding a little as she tried to memorize each of the items she had been asked to purchase before she even headed out to the market, she smiled and tucked the small coin purse Mrs. Takamura had given her to pay for the groceries into her pocket.
“Not a problem, I'm happy to help you out. My day is relatively empty today anyway.” Still smiling, the redhead kissed the woman on the cheek and gave her frail hand a gentle squeeze before heading out toward the shopping district. The trip was a short one, the nearest grocer's just a few blocks away, and Amy made the trip even quicker as she usually ran if she wasn't carrying anything heavy.
Entering the large shop, she glanced back down at the list she held in her hand before grabbing a basket from a rack beside the door. First, she made her way to the produce and grabbed each of the things on the list; “two small onions, two tomatoes, one small head of lettuce, two cucumbers, celery, two avocados, a small sack of potatoes, a sack of apples and two small green peppers.” She whispered what she needed to herself as she picked each of the items from the displays, and once she had everything, she checked the list once again to make sure.
Moving to the canned goods, she did the same thing, speaking each of the items off the list as she put them in the basket, then checked it over to make sure she had everything before moving to the refrigerated section and then to the frozen goods. Once she had everything, she returned to the front of the store and paid for the groceries from her own purse while everything was put into brown paper bags.
Once everything was taken care of at the register, she easily hefted one heavy bag into each arm and headed for the door. The cashier called after her asking if she needed any help and she shifted the weight slightly and waved back at him as she headed off down the street while the cashier stood there looking dumbfounded.
