Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A lone droplet of sweat fell from Satsumaru's face, leading him to stand straight and wipe his brow. It had been a hard day so far, proving that while he was the financial head of the project, he wasn't afraid of doing his own work. Of course, he couldn't build a proper shrine all by himself. He hired a few companies of builders at a raised expense, more than happy to support the people of his village and ensure a sense of purpose in their work at the same time.

The foundations had been laid, and the building itself was being formed. Bare walls stood tall, and a shell of a structure stood where the great Uchiha Shrine would soon stand tall. It would be a home for Uchiha. A place for their kind to gather and learn together about their history and future, their myths and secrets, and the best methods and proudest ways of their clan. Naturally, Satsumaru didn't intend for it to be some exclusive cult...all would be welcome to visit, learn, and discuss matters with him at any time. He had hoped that the inclusion of various groups to help construct his Shrine would be a sort of acknowledgment of this belief.

Smiling, he looked over the expanse of the site, proud of what was being done. For a long time, his ancestors stood as kings of the shinobi world. It was time that some respect was given to both the Uchiha of the past and those of the present and future.

It was then that his crimson eyes spied a strange chakra signature. One of the workers, it seemed, placing some chakra-infused item on one of the corner walls. Curious, and no doubt unpleasant. The man probably expected that no one would notice, but Satsumaru's Sharingan eyes caught the transfer of chakra easily enough.

In a flash, he melted into the shadows, rising behind the man in question and lifting him from the ground.

"I see you, and I see what you're doing," the Uchiha spoke softly, looking down to see an explosive note tagged. Apparently, the man hadn't primed it yet, which was timely for Satsumaru.

Struggling, the man replied, "You think Uchiha deserve their own shrine? You're no gods. Only the old gods deserve shrines, not mortals with egos!"

Frowning, Satsumaru shook his head and threw the man aside, binding him to the ground with shadows before he could rise and escape. With an outstretched hand, he took up the exploding note and lit it ablaze, sending it withering into ash. This, surprisingly enough, only led the man to laugh. "I'm not the only one here, Uchiha!" he spoke.

Turning his head, the Uchiha looked for any more chakra signatures, seeing five more in the process of being primed. Without another word, he performed handseals, sending waves of shadowy tendrils racing across the walls and grasping out to constrict the offenders. Unfortunately, two notes managed to be charged. He could see the chakra pulsing as a timer, counting down to the inevitable explosion.

Desparate, Satsumaru turned to a technique that would come at a cost, but ultimately give him the best chance to save his shrine.

Using the time/space jutsu inherent to the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, he lifted himself out of reality, reappearing in an instant at one note and phasing it out of existence entirely before doing the same to the single remaining note.

Once that was done, he collapsed, breathing heavily and wiping blood from his eyes. The technique was traumatizing, but necessary. God-like power always came at a cost. Though it took its toll, he would recover in time.

Rising from his knees, Satsumaru cast his gaze at the chakra signatures of the men he had bound. Clenching his fist, the shadows completed their dark mission, killing the men they had ensnared with their otherworldly grip in a single instant. As he released the jutsu, they all dropped to the ground where they stood.

These men sought to destroy his shrine, and all the innocent villagers working on and within it. There was no mercy for that...

Returning to his belongings nearby, Satsumaru pulled his headset from his pack, entering the frequency for the Obsidian Palace. "Satsumaru, here...there was an attempted bombing in the Sietch Zensunna. Perpetrators have been eliminated, but a clean-up crew is required," he reported.
