Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Naragaki Sora

AGE: 12

HEIGHT: 5’3”

WEIGHT: 110 lbs.

Physical Description: tall for his age, with a lean build and unkempt black hair, Sora has a contrasting appearance of carefree and childish, with dignified and aloof. He is the youngest of five, and the only son, making him his father's favorite without question, and also his mother's biggest headache. Anyone could see from looking that his hair was usually attempted to be made neat and orderly, but always ended the same; tossled and wind strewn. He had a beige scarf that he wore around his neck, occasionally using it to hide his face when he was embarrassed, or just didn't feel like being noticed, with only his golden eyes looking over the scarf. He wears a white, short sleeve t-shirt, with a black, sometimes dark colored, collared shirt over top it, unbuttoned completely, as if to use it as a light coat, rather than the nice shirt. This was coupled with loose pants, and ninja shoes.

Personality: Sora's personality can be summed up in a few short words; "I'd rather not." Being the only son of a family attempting to regain its status as a clan, Sora couldn't care less about clans or traditions. In fact, he mostly wanted to be left alone, and not be bothered by any of his families complicated past. His mother, Kona, was always the one to push the proper etiquette of higher living, and trained him to be a good head of a clan that had long been dispersed into the winds of time. His father, Shibo, had taken his mother's family name, to help with this goal of restarting the name that once held some semblance of status, but he was always soft on Sora, being that Sora was his only son, and so this created the conflicting personality that is Sora today. He is kind, affectionate, caring, and loyal to a fault, but is also aloof, distance, emotionless at times, and outwardly cold and vacant. Throw in his own ideals, and you have a boy who with show no expression most all day, with the occasional break I character. Ask him about his family, or to do a task in class, or even speak up, however, and your response will most likely be, without fail, "... I'd rather not..."

History: "Naragaki Akio, formally known as Nara Akio, son of Nara Akame, disgraced and banished from clan for sealing the 'Shrieking Demon' into his grandson, Naragaki Hayato, son of Naragaki Tensho." Sora read from the small leather book that was a collection of names and brief introductions to his family history, and his namesake. This book was the cause of most of his troubles growing up, from vigorous training, to etiquette lectures, and more. the front door to their house sings open and his mother is yelling something, but he continues to read, unfazed, turning the page gently.

" Naragaki Arutairu, son of Naragaki Hayato, also known as 'The Owl', had the most bingo book kills in his day amongst the ANBU of the Leaf Village. Had four children..." Sora leaned back and yawned. the commotion downstairs was growing to include his sister Kimiko, who was always trying to be the center of attention, so Sora still ignored it, flipped a few pages forward and continued to read, "Naragaki Emeko, son of Naragaki Fazoshu. Emeko propelled the Naragaki name into clan-ship, creating a house that rivaled both its namesakes, the Nara, and Hashigaki, in size. His goal was to one day be as powerful and revered as the Uchiha and Senju clans. He had one daughter. Naragaki Kohaku, daughter of Naragaki Emeko. Kohaku is to be known on record as 'The Betrayer'. Becoming a Rogue Ninja, and joining the Hidden Sand Village, where she changed he surname to Hitoshi, and living in the Sand for the rest of her days. Her intentions are still a mystery. She had one son. Hitoshi Toru, son of Naragaki Kohaku,
later Hitoshi Kohaku, The Betrayer. Toru learned interrogation techniques, and was a formidable ANBU operative. He had two sons." As Sora read aloud the accounting of his family history, he wondered how his name would be mentioned in this book, since it was already made known to him that he would be the one to inherit the burden of furthering the clan, a task he wanted nothing to do with. he flipped several more pages forward, picking a name halfway down the second page this time.

"Hitoshi Adame, son of Hitoshi Otowashi, The Storm. Adame died young defending his country during the Anarchist uprising in the Buried City of the Sand. he had two sons. Hitoshi Raito, son of Hitoshi Adame. Raito, along with his twin brother, Yami, became known amongst The Sand and the Yin-Yang Brothers, a combo of Raito's adaptation of Medical Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, with Yami's ANBU Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. Raito had two daughters and one son. Hitoshi Nao, daughter of Hitoshi Raito.
Nao was a Mednin presumed dead in battle, and was restored to consciousness and then recovery in the Village Hidden in the Grass. She retired and remained their till the end of her days. She had one son." the volume downstairs was growing, now to include his youngest sister, Kasumi, who was usually the quietest f the five of the children,
so now Sora's interest was peaked, but not enough to get up and leave his room. judging from the time of day, who was making the biggest fuss, and how every voice in the house seemed to be getting more excited, he had a very good guess as to what it was, so he pressed on.

turning to the nest page, Sora continued, "Hitoshi Ichiro, son of Hitoshi Takane. Ichiro became a member of the Leaf City after proving he was not a spy in anyway,
and was able to find safety and helped in the restoration on the Village Hidden in the Leaf, after the collapse. During restoration, he discovered records left behind of the Naragaki family and rediscovered our past. He had one son. Hitoshi Sora, son of Hitoshi Ichiro.
Sora later changed his name to Naragaki Sora, vowing to restore the clan to its rightful glory." Sora paused as he looked at the name that mirrored his. it was why he was named Sora in the first place. His mother, Kona, expected him to be just like her grandfather, and rebuild the clan, and make the Naragaki name great once more. but he had no desire for that. He wanted to be a shinobi worth mentioning in his family book, yes, but to be the figure head for a clan that didn't exist anymore? the idea alone was too much. he wanted no part of it.
He eyeballed the last pages sentences, "Naragaki Sora, son of Naragaki Kona." nothing else was written yet, but as his bedroom door swung open, his mother standing there holding the academy letter, his sister all shouting from every corner of the house about how excited they are for their "baby brother", he knew someday soon, he few sentences will be written, and although his father may smile,
his mother may not be so pleased.
