Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Once more he was staring towards the key in his hand. This seemed to be the real deal, the honest real deal. His eyes went up towards the door, the lock, and once more back to the key. “I can do this… this is nothing scary…” He said and would put the key in, turn it and eventually turn the knob. He squeezed one eye shut, almost scared to look inside the room. But once he did he was a bit baffled. “It… isn’t that bad…” There had been some cleaning in and around the place, but obviously it lacked the overall cleaning. The interior wasn’t all that he wanted either. On which he started to clear out the place. First, the lighter stuff was going out. People from the Hokage place asked if he wanted help. But Nao said he didn’t have that much to do on the first day, that he would be fine.
As all the lighter stuff was out, all the private stuff was out… He started to tackle the more heavy stuff. “Okay… Maybe I should ask for help..” He walked down the stairs with the box of personal belongings, asked if one of them could help him out. One of the people started to help Nao shift out the book closet, the desk, and the small couch in the place. “Thanks for helping me with that,” Nao said and would bow slightly towards the other as he made an awkward chuckle and said Nao didn’t need to remain this polite to those who just helped him. “But… we are all just human if we forget that…” He didn’t finish the sentences but did wait for the other to start talking. They had a pleasant talk.
Once the room was fully emptied Nao got the cleaning tools out. He started to clean the door, the windows, and eventually the floor. As the floor was drying out, Nao brought the old furniture outside and started to place his own stuff inside. He had brought everything on wheels so it was a little easier to turn and place to how he wished.

Two full days went by as Nao was busy with paperwork, let the work guys do their thing and everything. The room was almost done. Two bookshelves on either side of the window, between the bookshelves, was a bench placed in with cushions on. It was actually a quite cozy spot like that. One cabin was filled with books, while the other seemed to have folders and storage for papers. Yet there were some personal belongings in the cabin too. A family picture, drawings that he had made throughout the time, and some figures of fantasy animals or just figures.
In the right middle of the room was a desk, big enough for a single person who often got workload. There was a tray on it for new-papers and papers that had already been processed. The stack on the new papers was still quite big. There were multiple pencils laying and a few books stacked up. A bobblehead figure which was still softly bobbing. The chair was comfy to sit hours on, the desk light wasn’t too bright or too dim either. Yet it still had multiple settings on it for brightness. Just on the corner of the door was a coat hang place, with a bucket for umbrellas and wet shoes. In the corner were a meeting sort of place with a corner couch, a low table, and a chair. A floor carpet was spread out so it would be comfortable to walk on. In the opposite corner were still some boxes for Nao to unpack. Yet he had decided it wouldn’t be the time for that now. “First the paper… all the papers…” He sighed and would get started again, shifting from the chair to the couch, to the window bench. So many places to work on and yet he found the place still lacking something, yet never could really place his thumb upon it. Maybe some other time he would get the hang of it.

Two more days had passed and he had finally done all the papers, the last night was probably the worst one as he had pulled an all-nighter. There were many used paper coffee cups on his desk, the window was slightly open to get the smoke scent out of the place. He rubbed his eyes once before he would actually start to clean up his desk. Bundle the papers and send them away to where they had to be. “Oooh… Tomorrow another busy day… I have to make sure I call them…” he would mutter and lay his head down on the desk. Looking at the empty corner. “I should still do something with that corner… but what…” He would look around, there wasn’t much he could change any more. Many of the things were already in there… That was when an idea struck him… Many shinobi were also Inzuka’s or had regular pets. What if he also made a spot for those. In the corner, he made a little pet place, where he could also gain pets. Yet as he went through that idea once he had taped off the floor… He figured they wouldn’t be long enough to properly use the spot… So the tape was removed as that idea was too. Another idea got to him, place down a giant beanbag, one where you could easily snuggle up in, with a blanket over and you practically had a bed… Yet that didn’t seem all too professional.
In the end what he did was rotate his desk, get a one with a storage space below, so he could still practice his hobby while working. Which was actually drawing. This way he could somewhat keep his work and hobby space a bit separated. A smile formed on his face as this was the proper solution, in the middle it was a bit empty, but at least the corner felt somewhat filled up. The last thing he did was place plants in the two corners and a tiny colorful one in the window bed.
“And now we are going to get ready for tomorrow…” He would place down the last pieces of decoration, like cushions on the couch, a blanket for the colder days and that would be it. It looked cozy this way and still held a proper function. He closed the door behind him, locked the place and would go home for some rest.
