Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sunagakure had sure seen better days. This 'subterranean wonder' or so that would have been what he had read about seemed to be nothing more than a hole in the ground filled with charred and broken ruins. There was one structure that seemed relatively unscathed. It was a large, near pristine structure in comparison to the rest. Of course it too had seen worse days, just not as of late. It too had been destroyed by an earlier threat and rebuilt so it was still rather new in comparison to the rest of this dilapidated community. Perhaps this would be where the government of the community was located. He looked at the sign Omni Prime Center -- a strange name for a Kazekage structure however it was no less strange than it being a hospital.

He entered the building and upon the opening of the glass doors it hit him, the scent of sterility and death all at once. There was something uncanny about hospitals and nursing homes, this aura they exude: the acquiesce of death. "Hello... Miss? Hello!" He called out into the bustling corridor. "I am looking for someone who can help me find-" he was cut short when an old man ran over his foot in a wheelchair. He, intact unlike some of those gathered here was not going to garner a large portion of the harried staff's attention it would so seem. "I am looking for a ninja!"

The past week has been one hell of a ride for the genin. She had more needles poked into her, more tests run on her and more questions thrown at her than she had in the rest of her life put together. It was a wild ride, to be sure, but at least she had some answers now. There were a great many things she could not explain to others, and the majority of that which she could she chose to keep to herself. What would people think if she told them that she had voices speaking in her head? Ones that she knew were real people that resided within this otherworldly spirit that called her body home. Had she not been part of it, she certainly wouldn't have believed it herself.

As she made her way towards the exit of the hospital, the threshold finally within her sight, she took notice of a man who looked... well, he looked no more out of place than most patients or guests that she had seen in the past week. A few dozen of the thoughts pulled her to talk to him, but it wasn't until he called out for a ninja that she finally stopped her retreat towards the door and gave him a more serious notice. She was a genin now, and had been for almost a month and yet she had never had a chance to exercise that new found responsibility. A smile of usefulness crept upon her face and she diverted her stride to go over and meet the man, her Sunagakure crest engraved in the metal that hung like a sash around her waist glinted in the artificial lighting.

She raised a hand to make her presence known and offered a sincere smile to the confused individual as she approached him. Without speaking a word or opening her mouth, her voice trailed across the man's thoughts, obviously alien from his own but hopefully not too unsettling. "My name is Koizumi Tsubaki. I am a shinobi from the village here, can I help you?" This was one of the benefits she had been able to enjoy since her revelation. Telepathic communication without requiring physical contact! Her Yamanaka instructor had told her that such was possible among the more capable and pure blooded of the clan, but he was more than dumbfounded to learn that one of a diluted blood was able to perform the art at such a young age. She only hoped that... they wouldn't decide to chime in without her permission.

Heir Apparent - The Messenger

It was a plea for someone in this god-forsaken hellhole to take his letter so he could be on his way. The entire village smelled of mildew and strangely enough char. Considering their subterranean existence for so many years in the darkness the former was not a shock but the later was. Of course the heir was unaware of the recent fire 'allegedly' ignited by the Steward's former ANBU Sennin. He then made eye contact with her, the most lovely woman he had ever seen in his life. Her lithe form, her large and lovely vermilion eyes or her long captivating perse hair. He tried to be respectful and attempted to avert his gaze downward when he spied the dull luster of the Sunan Shinobi plate tied around her slender waist in the form of a belt. A hot kunoichi... score.

She raised her hand, likely to draw further attention to herself that her beauty somehow neglected which was not much he would have to admit. As she approached he imagined a more sauntering gait than the one she actually utilized. His mind mentally undressed her which would of course prelude the following awkward moment when a voice in his head rang out.

"My name is Koizumi Tsubaki. I am a shinobi from the village here, can I help you?"

One could see his face move through the various gradients of pinks and then scarlets and eventually brilliant crimsons. A telepath? And a hot one too, dam my luck. He mentally griped. His mouth bent downward on the edges as he realized that he had not stopped thinking. There was a spark of hope that she could not hear what he had said. Something that he hoped her expression would betray, but then of course his own face had already announced in a rather loud matter that something was off. "Uh, hmm..." He muttered as he tried to find the words. "I" He let out a dry cough for a mysterious tickle in his throat that only existed in his mind as he nervously fought to find words. "Havethis!" He then suddenly declared in a single phrase as he thrust the paper in the Genin's direction. He never asked her rank or her status in the village, she was likely high enough considering who and what they were supposed to recover or rather deliver. It was essentially a daimyō-sanctioned mission to escort or potentially kidnap a woman to bring her to the site of a wedding. A strange but also a likely simple request considering how open Tea is to trade, commerce and the fact that the Countess herself is not a shinobi in the least. In fact, Susumu's father expected the countess to accept his father's request to unite their family via marriage. Something she declined in a rather blunt manner, never one to mix businessman and pleasure it was likely one of the many reasons why she was such a success in an otherwise male-dominated political arena.

The letter he had so abruptly thrust in her direction was crinkled in his hands that were slightly tacky. The letter was the same one he wrote earlier in the week before his father in the meeting. There was a hidden message that perhaps she would notice or perhaps she would not. But again, such a stunning creature would surely not have blood on her hands. Perhaps that was part of the kunoichi's allure -- their devastating beauty and their unparalleled grace.

[legend="The Letter"][col]Dearest Shinobi of Sunagakure;
On the eve of a momentous occasion, I have come to you with a plea.

New alliances will soon be made between Wind Country and Tea.
On the first of April there will be a union between Daimyō Ishii Shirō's daughter
The loved Ishii Sango, third born of the Daimyō.

Her safety as well as that of her fiance is paramount in these dangerous times.
Use your considerable strength and
Resources to ensure that the Countess of Tea, Hotsume Rika is
Taken from her estate and brought to Sora.

Her offenses against Wind Country are vast but will not be detailed here.
Early signs of threat have been established
Rising armies have been mustered.

Please bring her to Sora intact
Leave no witness of the actions you perform to complete this mission
Else Wind Country might appear to be the aggressor.
Arrange this to occur prior to the Daimyō's daughter's wedding
S-Rank mission rewards will be
Earned|Name: Hotsume Rika
Age: 46
Gender: Female
Marital Status: Single
Occupation: Countess of Tea Country

Physical Description:
Coming in at an impressive six feet and two inches, Rika is commonly considered to be an imposing presence to stand near and even though she is blessed with youthful features which are enduring into her middle years she is rarely caught not wearing a smile. With unblemished porcelain skin and a pair of bright yellow eyes, many who frequent the courts of Tea Country are led to wonder if perhaps their leader's lasting youth and more unusual features are the result of some well-kept secret supernatural stain on her family's bloodline but none have ever been able to claim such a thing with any evidence and those that do are quickly brought to ruin by the Countess' many supports and suitors. Typically worn up or at least bound, her hair has a color and tone slightly reminiscent of un-ground coffee though it undeniably has more shine to it than any coffee beans ever have. Despite what one might expect of a woman who spends a great deal of her time dealing with political and mercantile business, Rika has a fit and well-muscled body that she does well to hide using voluminous clothing and apparel.[/col]
Mission: Escort the Countess of Tea to Sora.
[/legend]

By the time she finished reading the summons, assuming she had he would have found the inner fortitude to find his words. "Would you be interested in being exquisite?" His mouth agape in horror he shook his head and waved his hands. "I-I mean... would you be interested in executing this mission?"

Seemingly oblivious to his barely disguised feelings, Tsubaki's eyes widened in surprise as the letter was unceremoniously thrust at her. She paused for a few moments as she looked over towards him in bewilderment before she slowly unfolded and uncrinkled the letter. Her expression of confusion grew stronger before it was slowly replaced by disbelief and then finally surprise as she saw the last line. She took a small glance up towards him, her hair half-covering her eyes before she refocused them on the letter to read it carefully once more. Her mind raced as a silent council of conflicting voices sounded off in her head with equal amounts of pride, worry and a small subset of the group harboring a nugget of suspicion.

She walled off the unheard council of thoughts as he began to speak, his slip up being lost in the dozens of other quieting voices that she was trying to silence. It was times like these that she was both grateful for the Many to be so eager to voice their opinions and sad that it was so hard to have peace and quiet in her own head. When she finally regained full control, she took notice of his wild waving and defensive gestures as he emphasized his word's true intentions. After he finished, a few moments of awkward silence hung between them, her expression only telling him that she was deeply considering something. "This is an official mission?" She finally asked inside of his own head once more before her mind began to trail off on a mild tangent.

Thoughts began to run through her head as she kept the mental barrier between her own thoughts and the Many's. Was this a sanctioned mission meant for her? The administration knew she would be here, as it was under their orders that she report to the hospital at this time each day for the past two weeks. If so, then why did he not address her by name? If it was for her, why were the rewards of a S rank? She had heard that was one of the highest, but perhaps that simply was because it would last a long time or because it was a high priority. The individuals involved certainly did sound important, from what little she knew of politics, which was next to nothing. All of these thoughts raced through her mind in the few seconds that followed her insignificant question.

She did not seem offended or surprised at his loud thoughts. It should be no shock that there were more lecherous men than he, although that was almost as concerning considering that one day this beauty or one very much like her would one day be his bride as long as his father did not sell off his marriage to some dignified little piglet. He did not want other men to think the thoughts he would, much later and far from her company about her. He shook his head and attempted to get those cobwebs out. A muddle of personal wants that quickly become defined as 'needs' by a young man of vigor. He waited impatiently, with each passing second the fact that he was not slapped across the face or psychically scolded seemed like a victory as he tried to keep his thoughts clean and clear. He thought about wrestling, the least 'pretty' thing he knew. Large greased up men fighting it out in an arena, how undignified. He thought about math, about various culinary projects, even a procession of music he created in his mind. At least one of these things would work and work they did, at least until the young kunoichi's voice barged into his head and overrode his thought.

"This is an official mission?"

It was like a siren's call, only silent and she was not calling his ship and crew to a stony shore to suffer a perilous death -- probably. His dry mouth fumbled to make a reply, "yes?" There was a hint of a question in his voice, not that he was not certain but rather he was not sure if he was supposed to answer out loud. He did not know if he was expected to psychically communicate and if he did if it would come out the way he wanted it to... that is without asking her out for a bowl of ramen and her hand among other things. in his mind he gave it a shot all the same.

"It is a mission supported by the Wind Country Daimyō, therefore it is considered to be a mission commissioned by him.
I like pancakes... Yes I do. I like pancakes and pans and cakes. Frosting is nice too. a^2 + b^2 = c^2 And the Punisher suplexes the Undying warrior!
She is really pretty. I wonder if her hair is real. Well there is one way to know that for certain.
I have not been able to contact the Kazekage Steward, although that is more a formality than anything else because the compensation goes to the shinobi and their teamate(s)."
<i></i>

His mind was rather busy, attempting to keep his embarrassing thoughts at bay while simultaneously answering the young woman's question. Also, it was a lot of work to even try. He was not even entirely sure that it was more than a one-way method of communication so he also attempted to repeat his phrase verbally with a sigh and a flushed look. "It is a mission supported by the Wind Country Daimyō, therefore it is considered to be a mission commissioned by him. I have not been able to contact the Kazekage Steward, although that is more a formality than anything else because the compensation goes to the shinobi and their teamate(s)."</B><i></i> He loosened the collar of his shirt and tried to make a less goofy facial expression but it would appear that both attempts would be futile efforts as his fingers fumbled and his face was frozen in a lopsided shit-eating grin. He could at the very least try to impress her somehow. <B>"I am Ishii Susumu, heir apparent of Daimyō Ishii Shiro," he finally introduced. It was less than smooth considering his greeting was likely his best pick-up line. All the same, better late than never.

The kunoichi stood there, her right hand clasping the letter as her held idly on the former's wrist. This augmented telepathic link was new to her, and it had caught her off guard to hear the man's telepathic response. The right corner of her lip curled faintly into a smile, impressed that he was able to communicate back and that she was capable enough to allow such without physical contact. That elation faded quickly as his projected thoughts devolved into random mental banter. she was unsure if she should be embarassed or offended by what she was sensing, but as he finally reboarded his train of thought, she settled for ignorance.

She began to nod, but was cut off as she began by the man reiterating word for word what he had just told her, only verbally this time. He must not have known that she heard what he had tried to send back, and an amused flush crossed her face as he finished the repeat. Finally, as he grew that cocky smirk and finally revealed his position to her, her smirk faded to an expression of disbelief. Heir to a Daimyō?

"What a load of crap." The voice was telepathic once again, but it was not Tsubaki's own. It sounded to be coming from a rough man in his mid twenties who had more cockiness and ill temper than a small contingent of bandits. Tsubaki's eyes widened, realizing that one of the Many, specifically Jishiro, had managed to chime in before she had a chance to stop it. This wasn't the first time such had happened, and she knew it wouldn't be the last...

Swallowing quickly, she looked around the room, as if she had heard the voice coming from elsewhere. This man, heir apparent or not, was not going to be her first attempt to explain the complex social situation that was eternally playing out in her psyche. She proceeded to wave a dismissing hand past the heir, shaking her head as if annoyed by some unknown stranger who must have passed by and overheard him. "If what you say is true, do you have any identification of your station or that this is an official request?" She mentally responded, reinforcing the mental wall which kept the Many at bay while she had a civil conversation with the messenger.

Ishii Susumu
Heir Apparent - The Messenger

Susumu could not hear the voices in the lovely lady's head. Even if so, she still fell within 'acceptable' on the crazy-hot scale.

"If what you say is true, do you have any identification of your station or that this is an official request?"

The voice in his head replied. He looked down at his pocket and nodded as he brought his hands to his collar and loosened the first two buttons. It was not a strip show, her here at least - there was no music and the atmosphere was abhorrent. Weighted down by a heavy golden chain was a flat sphere of gold, embossed on the face was the sigil of his family. A rather expensive forgery if one would suspect such a thing. He could have also just handed over his wallet but he needed to loosen his collar anyways and show off his manly, near hairless chest. Calling it hairless would be unfair to budding forest now three hairs strong. "This should suffice," he replied verbally avoiding the whole 'mental communication' thing. He buttoned his shirt in silence, allowing his pendant to remain hidden beneath the single layer of silken cloth.

One could suppose that being the heir apparent was not proven by having the family sigil, only that he was either related to the Ishii clan's main house or that he had taken from a member that rather valuable piece of metal. Of course, most men would have smelted the gold and sold it for its weight alone, a hefty bounty for any without means. "As for verifying the legitimacy of this mission, I suppose you could speak with my father," he offered as he pulled from his trousers a small white earpiece attached to a short strand of wire. "His frequency is preset," he added as he depressed a near invisible button at the base of the earbud before he planted it in his ear canal. There was the whisper of sound that Tsubaki could barely hear, if she was able to read Susumu's surface thoughts she would hear the conversation repeated verbatim.

"Father --"

While Susumu's words were spoken in a calm, almost genteel tone that seemed to betray his speech and his thoughts and his actions only a short time prior he spoke with an inflection of reverence for the man on the other end of the line. There were some men even fools would know to fear. While Susumu truly did play the part well, he was no fool but he also remembered who the men were that were worth fearing.

"Susumu, is it done?"

"No, but I am with a kunoichi now. A Miss Koizumi Tsubaki and is is requesting verification as to the validity of this mission."

"As if there is a person in this country that does not know your face?"

"Actually sir, I have spent the last decade in Tea Country pursuing my studies, I doubt most people here know my face or my name."

"Ludicrous as it may be, I will authenticate and corroborate... but let this be the last time."

The Daimyō was an impatient man in some regards, this being one of them. Susumu's face was fixed in a neutral expression, his father took the request rather well considering. He liberated the bud from his ear and with an extended arm offered the headset to Tsubaki. "He does not like to be kept waiting," he warned.

Much to her relief, it seemed that the man did not take notice of the sudden mental outburst of the rogue voice. Letting out a silent breath of relief, she reasserted her attention onto him as he began to unbutton the top of his shirt. A dozen alarms sounded in her head until the glint of gold silenced them all with a sudden whip crack of understanding. Her eyes averted from his, tilting off to the side to hide her moment of embarrassment before it eventually trailed back to the medallion that hung around his neck. For a more experienced and hardened shinobi there were a dozen more questions she should ask: Was it real gold or a forgery? Why was he at the hospital to deliver this? Why would someone of his station be playing the role of messenger? The soft flush of her face began to subside as she nodded absently, silently chastising herself for assuming the worst of his prior action.

"As for verifying the legitimacy of this mission, I suppose you could speak with my father,"

This was when the proverbial fertilizer was hitting the fan. As she allowed her guard down, she heard the cacophony of voices once again all begin chiming up once again in her head. Keeping her expression as neutral as possible, she tried to convince them all to be silent as she couldn’t think with the Many all speaking at once. By the time she reluctantly evoked the mental wall around herself, providing a brief respite, he was already holding out the earbud for her to take. She recalled what he had just said a moment ago, finally processing it as the faint flush instantly paled to worry. Even with all of the telepathic capabilities in the world, she couldn’t communicate to this man over long distances like this… not yet at least.

Her hand absently reached out and took the bud from Susumu’s hands as she instinctively placed it into her ear. She could feel the masses beating against her mental barriers in her head, and the sudden desire to run seemed to be a very liberating one. Instead, she took a slow silent breath, closed her eyes and mentally reinforced the walls with as much determination as she could muster. As she opened her eyes, the concern was gone and the pale look had vanished. She took a moment and glanced around the area before reaching over and attempting to take his hand so that she could lead him off to one side of the room. “You will speak for me, as I cannot.” She telepathically transmitted to him, their contact making the connection strong enough to convey the air of command that she did not possess, if he was who he claimed.

Stopping off a few paces away, out of direct earshot and off the beaten path of hospital personnel and patients she turned towards him and stepped close to him, so that his face was only a foot from hers. The intent was to make sure the man on the other line, his father she presumed, could hear Susumu’s voice clearly, but that was unlikely the only effect it would have on the man, the side effects of which Tsubaki was not presently considering. “This is Koizumi Tsubaki, shinobi of Sunagakure. Can you verify the details of this mission and that this mission is sanctioned by the ruling powers of the Daimyo? I request you excuse my skepticism, but the word of the Daimyo holds great weight and is not to be taken lightly.” Her silent words were quick and clear, as if she was talking directly into his ear as the scent of camellias and other flowers assailed the man’s nostrils.

The gold was gold, the expensive kind. Of course he was no mind reader so he would not know that she wondered. The pale golden hue of 18K, distinct from iron pyrite in luster and tone and even further from the lowlier forms of gold mixed with scrap metals. Sure, it could be real gold and still a false sigil -- the wealth involved in such a ploy seemed somewhat wasteful when a fake ID could garner similar benefit. He also would not be able to answer why he was the messenger and not one of the many nameless or faceless men that also did the Daimyō's bidding, the answer was simple: to get out of Soons and to see the village at least once before it was destroyed. He had a curious mind and was by no means as cruel as his father or his brother but by no means was he a 'good' man. Some might be out of fear for what his father might do but he was complicit in many things -- by not warning them of the war ahead, by not outright telling her about what the Daimyō has done and what he would do. For being willing to stop for a pretty girl rather than find the Steward in the first place. No, he was not a 'good man' and he had lost his way in this decimated community that would soon be buried beneath rubble.

The young beauty took the earpiece from his open hand.

“You will speak for me, as I cannot.”

She approached him, she was close enough to take in his scent. He did not smell like a shinobi or a citizen of Sunagakure at the very least, the floral notes overpowered by a peppery clove scent as he made no attempt to back away and rather leaned closer with a smirk on his face. "You smell nice," he commented as he took in her scent. A distinguished cough could be heard on the other end of the earbud. "Erm, apologies father... the woman with me..." A flush could be seen on his face.

“This is Koizumi Tsubaki, shinobi of Sunagakure. Can you verify the details of this mission and that this mission is sanctioned by the ruling powers of the Daimyo? I request you excuse my skepticism, but the word of the Daimyo holds great weight and is not to be taken lightly.”

"Is uh... Miss Koizumi, a Sunan shinobi. She has requested that you reiterate the details of the mission you wish to commission and that you are indeed who I claim you to be." He paraphrased simply as his hand slowly creeped its way to Tsubaki's waist. Susumu waited for his father's response as he attempted to as stealthy as any shinobi attempted to rest his hand on her waist.

"I have no way of knowing what Susumu has claimed, but I am Daimyō Ishii Shiro and I have made a request for a party to escort Countess Hotsume Rika to my palace in time for my daughter's wedding. She is not on good terms with the groom, Kageoni so force may be required but I do expect her safety to be assured upon arrival because one day she will be my daughter in law. Beyond this I have nothing more to say," The Daimyō announced as the transmission was cut off abruptly. By this point Susumu had crept uncomfortably close to the mute kunoichi. A quiet girl would be nice for once. He hemmed for a moment before he decided to make a bold offer, "after your mission... if you are interested that is, I know this nice, secluded place..." He considered drawing her in closer but through better of it considering it was a victory if he kept his fingers with his already uncomfortable proximity that he would not be the first to relinquish but be was not going to test his luck any further in such a public venue.

Thankfully for the lecherous heir, the kunoichi was too focused on hearing his poor attempt at relaying her request and the subsequent response from the authoritative man. If it was all a ruse, it was a dam good one, and her small lingering doubts evaporated into air as the line clicked silent. Tsubaki through through the details in her mind, matching them with what she read on the letter, and just when it seemed that his not-so-subtle attempts to put his hands on her were going to go by unnoticed, he spoke.

"after your mission... if you are interested that is, I know this nice, secluded place..."

IT became then that she was acutely aware of his hand pressed against her waist. A shiver traveled up her spine and it was not a very pleasant one. Her stable mental walls crumbled and the mass of the Many rushed in to eagerly assist. Punch him! Push him away. Call him out! Stab him in his bloody hand! Those and dozens of others chimed in, crowding out her own thoughts as she stood there like an awkward girl, frozen in place from the overload of thoughts. Stand aside! Called a familiar elderly voice inside of her mind. The voices all began to die down until there was finally a blanket of silence fell over Tsubaki and the Many. A circle of space had formed around the elderly man Tsubaki had first spoken to as the others gave him a respectful distance. He took a slow deep breath before he opened his mouth and commanded, Step away from her, kneel down and apologize for your perverse act!

All of this transpired in her mind in a fraction of a second as she stood there awkwardly, time having little meaning in such a place. She could feel the familiar man’s command as she looked over to Susumu’s eyes, a faint shimmer of color tracing across hers as they momentarily locked gazed. Not fully understanding what she was doing, she did what seemed to come naturally as her mind attempted to grab onto the heir’s burrowing the command into his psyche. If successful, his eyes would momentarily share that same rainbow shine before it faded and the command would be imprinted into his mind, hopefully leaving him none-the-wiser that the command was not of his own design.

Heir Apparent - The Messenger

She was not answering right away, did that mean that she was thinking about it? She looked up at him with those big, gorgeous vermilion eyes. Was this where they were supposed to kiss? He hoped so as he puckered up in time to fear a mysterious disembodied voice boomed in his head.

Step away from her, kneel down and apologize for your perverse act!

His eyes turned for only a moment to the same warm coral hue before they returned to pearl-like orbs. His hand still resting on Tsubaki's hip, Susumu took a full step back. His motions smooth as she was finally released from her touch and he genuflected before her. Hid forehead touched the cool tile floor as he planted both his hands in front of him. Aware of this act in a public venue and the milling staff and patients alike but unable to betray this command. His mind screamed out that this was something he had to do but he did not understand why. "With a contrite heart and a forthright spirit I must apologize to you, the most pulchritudinous woman I have ever seen! I have been enamored by your reticent presence and your sexiness and I have overstepped my bounds! I am a libertine man and I deserve to be punished for my debauchery!" He cried into the floor. The later-most phrase was not a bad idea but where did the rest of that come from?

He stared at the ground for a moment, in shock and awe that he had made such a fool of himself. Frozen with embarrassment he simply looked forward. He wanted to stand, his mind and body screamed for him to do so but he could not. He simply stared at the floor. He wanted to say something. But he was compelled to say something unintended. "I am sorry that I am such a pervert and that I wish to do lewd things to you!" It was then that he started to rattle off whatever came to mind - from various acts to encounters. None of which appropriate to narrate or quote. Also, it was likely that this would go on for some time, of course it would wear off eventually but it could all end much sooner if a resolution could be made. There is only one way that an apology can be concluded. He prattled on...

Naoki had been walking by, about to see if she could catch Tsubaki as she left the hospital. She'd noticed that whenever she encountered (read: set up some arbitrary meeting close to the older girl's home) Tsubaki, they chatted about some kind of hospital visit she had that afternoon, and decided she'd risk seeming like a stalker to try and win some attention points. "Hey! I remembered you had a bunch of hospital appointments and stuff, so I came here on the off chance you had another one today and here you are!" Yep, totally natural, not weird at all! Uh... what do I say if she asks me why I came here to see her though? Uhhhh... Well... I could just say I wanted to talk to her. Her face scrunched up in a little expression of shy, shaking her head and smacking both her cheeks to try and get herself back in focus. I don't really have anything else to do, could probably just say I came by wondering if she remembered any species of flower she might've found interesting? Or I might just mention a song I heard recently~ Mmkay, what's a good song...

As she started humming the first few bars of one of the faster-paced songs she wanted to introduce to Tsubaki (or not, she might already know it), she heard a voice ring out clearly across the courtyard leading to the hospital entrance.

"With a contrite heart and a forthright spirit I must apologize to you, the most pulchritudinous woman I have ever seen! I have been enamored by your reticent presence and your sexiness and I have overstepped my bounds! I am a libertine man and I deserve to be punished for my debauchery!"

Startled by the sudden proclamation, Naoki's head jerked out of the song and focused on where that sentence with the big words came from. Someone's just prostrating himself on the ground proclaiming his apology... At a familiar figure. Rather familiar. Naoki's eyebrows rose in surprise, thinking about the context of the sentence, the person it was directed to and the words she did know, trying to think of what the man might have meant by the sentence as a whole.

"I am sorry that I am such a pervert and that I wish to do lewd things to you!"

Yep, nope, that's it. Without too much of a second thought, she sprinted at the two and called out to Tsubaki, hoping to give her an opportunity to back away from the self-proclaimed pervert. "Tsubaki-san!" Jogging to a stop nearby, she tried to position herself between Tsubaki and the weirdo on the ground if any space had been made, careful not to push Tsubaki in any way. "Are you okay? Is this guy bothering you?" she asked, facing the man despite the posture not giving her much of a practical advantage. She did hope to intimidate him somehow, but being shorter and younger there's not much of a chance of that happening, especially not with the blindfold over her eyes.

The kunoichi stood there, looking dumbfounded as the man actually stepped back, bowed down and prostrated himself on the floor infront of her. Was this her fault? She figured it must have been, but certainly it could have simply been a coincidence that he had a sudden change of heart. Her eyes shifted from him to the others around the hospital lobby, all of which had their eyes looking or staring over at the pair as he did a marvelous job of humiliating himself and embarrassing the divine out of Tsubaki. On one hand, it was all sort of sweet? She had people hit on her before, that wasn't something entirely new, but many of the words he was using she had never heard before and if they were not followed by the unspeakable acts and encounters that soon came, they might have been endearing.

"I am sorry that I am such a pervert and that I wish to do lewd things to you!"

Her expression froze as first two things he had described were things she had flitter in her mind, though certainly pertaining to him. The girl's face flushed red as the subsequent ones crossed that line and then stomped all over it. She knew this wasn't right, this had to be because of what they do. Of what they made her do, somehow. Children's ears were closed over by their attentive parent's hands as others began either chuckle or droop their mouth in horror at what this man was saying, in public! Thankfully for Tsubaki, a familiar voice broke her out of the stunned trance, and though her friend positioning herself between the man and herself did allow her to regain control of her body, it only made her mounting embarrassment much worse.

"No, please. It is okay. Stop with the-"
Her telepathic communication to him paused as a particularly shocking utterance escaped him and it took her a few more seconds to fully recover. "Please stop. I forgive you." They were not commands as she had done before, simple telepathic pleadings to a seemingly crazed man. If that didn't work, she didn't know what she was going to do. He was just a guy after all, and her father had explained to her how men thought sometimes but she had never intended this to turn into such a traumatizing scene for all parties involved.

Ishii Susumu
Heir Apparent - The Messenger

"Tsubaki-san! ...Are you okay? Is this guy bothering you?"

Susumu continued to do obeisance, oblivious to the blind girl's arrival or perhaps distracted by the outrageous things he was saying that seemed entirely out of his control. As long as he did not try to speak, he appeared safe but as soon as his mouth opened unintended words seemed to spill out. "I have a marvelous collection of adult magazines left under lock and key and an extensive panties collection!"</B><i></i> He declared at the top of his octave. <B>"In fact, I would like to wear them but they do not fit my massive package!" Well, the last part was a self-compliment at the very least but it was nobody else's business less maybe Tsubaki's in the near future. The bemoaning came to an abrupt end when a benevolent voice from within his head seemed to release him from this cull.

"No, please. It is okay. Stop with the- ...Please stop. I forgive you."

As if a weight was lifted from his back he was able to rise and he did so. His face misted with sweat and his cheeks flushed. "You're OK with that stuff?" Despite the embarrassing display, it would seem that was the first thing that stuck in his mind. A strange romantic ending one could say, finding a woman who could understand, tolerate or hell even encourage his perverse predilections. He let out a slight cough to clear his throat as he regained his bearings and remembered that they were in a crowded hospital corridor. "Maybe we should go somewhere more quiet," he offered as he extended his arm in a pose that almost resembled that of a gentleman. It was then that he noticed the blind child, a rather average tom-boyish girl in both build and aesthetic choice it would seem. The child was a teen, not much younger than Tsubaki in reality and only four years Susumu's junior but she had masculine features like muscles in place of frills and shiny things. He frowned at the boyish girl, "don't tell me, you have a boyfriend." He let out a disappointed sigh as he silently sized up his rival, he was not much to look at -- a cripple in fact, he could not even see what a great ass Tsubaki had. Eyes he meant eyes mysterious commanding voice that seems to sometimes reside in his head. Eyes!

Meanwhile, not far from this scene one of the nurses in the nursing station was making a call. To whom one may have to wonder.

OC: A shorty to get your lady involved so you guys can ditch me and go on an adventure.

Naoki's eyebrows rose past their usual threshold when the man started announcing his perverse ways to the rest of the hospital corridor, knowing full well what he meant from the various conversations she's overheard while helping her aunt out in the shop. P-p-panties... Collection! And it's extensive?! He might be a notorious panties thief! She stiffened up, turning about as red as she could seem with her complexion and actually stepping in between the man and proclaiming, "O-of course not! Tsubaki-san is nice, and normal, a-and pure!" She shook her head vigorously, turning to the pure one and tugging on her arm trying to pull her from the now-confirmed weirdo trying to take her to "someplace more quiet", which she's established, from her various conversations with her aunt after hours, was not a place a young girl wanted to go. "Let's go, Tsubaki-san... He's... not someone you want to be alone with!" Her expression at this point was so worried Tsubaki should be able to tell that Naoki was being very, very serious. If Tsubaki wanted to sign something and pulled her hand away, Naoki would be sure to pay close attention but wouldn't need to snap her fingers too much since, well, it was a crowded area. She would remain wary of the man, angling herself relative to him so that she would be able to catch as many nervous twitches and indications of action as she could get from the noise level of the corridor. She wondered why Tsubaki was with him in the first place. Knowing his type though (or at least thinking she did, having had little to no first-hand exposure to people who boasted of their crimes of perversion) he probably approached her and she was caught in those ramblings after... well... she could really only assume that the man did something to the young girl. The boyfriend comment slipped past, mostly because she was now disregarding anything he said like her aunt told her to. If it continued, however, the second phase of the perv-propelling plan was to physically propel him across the room and run away.

EDIT as of this post: [link]

The headset she was assigned, which was supposed to be in her ear at all times, sounded a beep that signaled a new mission from inside her pocket since she'd pulled it out to hold some polite conversation. Slipping it into her ear with the arm that wasn't trying to pull her decidedly female friend away from the panties collector.
By Order of the Steward, it is hereby requested that Ishii Susumu is brought to the Kazekage Tower for a meeting. The female gender may wish to be careful when dealing with this man as he seems to be ... drawn to them without question. *, **, ***

The Steward expresses a profound gratitude for enduring the guest.

*in the event the target proceeds to make bloodied circles report to the Steward immediately. The target will need to be detained immediately.

**The Steward apologizes for any unwanted advances made by Susumu.

What could this mean? Could it be...? Naoki's mind started whirring, connecting some dots that may or may not be connected and trying to construct a plan to try and find out whether or not this man who is drawn to the female gender is the man who is drawn to the female gender. Okay, first, I gotta get her out of this situation. Then... I could try tailing him? Or I could object and ask for his name because he was actually trying to... to... Naoki's shoulders tensed up, and her grip on Tsubaki's wrist tightened a little. It all rode on what she decided.

Tsubaki visibly winced as he spoke of his... collection. The fact that the man was saying such things to her was bad enough, but now one of her best friends in the village was there to hear it was shockingly embarassing. She only hoped that Naoki did not somehow associate her with the man, but there was a part of her that was slightly impressed by him, though she did not understand exactly which part of her felt that way. Her eyes would finally avert from him as he stood and asked her of her acceptance of everything that he said. She was not exactly purely innocent as she heard Naoki proclaim, but she had not considered partaking in any of the activities that she understood with him. Even so, it was hard for her not to mask her flushed cheeks, a mixture of severe embarassment and a slight reluctant arousal. Was it what she asked him to do which had caused all of this, or was he really so proud and unrestrained as to practicall yell all of these... things at her.

She moved the letter she still held in her free hand into her shirt as she looked between him and Naoki, trying to think as to how she should diffuse the situation. The commotion in her head had roared up onto a blaze and even the elderly man did not seem able to regain full control of the Many. "I will see that the mission is carried out, Ishii Susumu-sama. I should be making my leave now." Her silent communication was intended solely for the man, but her frazzled thoughts and contact with Naoki had the unintended effect of bleeding the transition over to the younger kunoichi as well. "Please give your father, the Daimyō, my regards." As Naoki tended to something in her ear, Tsubaki would turn towards the girl, looking to see if she was ready to go. It was difficult not to fidget where she stood for... reasons, and she had no desire to stay here among the awkward aura that permeated the area, not that she felt worried the man would act on any of these proclaimed desires.

Ishii Susumu
Heir Apparent - The Messenger

"O-of course not! Tsubaki-san is nice, and normal, a-and pure!"

The blind boy protested. "Not for long," Susumu quipped with a raised eyebrow in response to Samejima's proclamation of Tsubaki's 'purity.'

"Let's go, Tsubaki-san... He's... not someone you want to be alone with!"

The young man pleaded. Obviously not her boyfriend, there was no demand or statement of ownership only a begging insistence. A sardonic grin slid across the heir's face. Was this boy going to try to make a scene with a woman that was not his? Ha. "It is not like she is saying 'no'," Susumu added in Tsubaki's defense as well as his own. "I mean look at her, or... well in your case feel her," Susumu added. It was a low-blow, but there was no such thing as fair play in sex and war. That and there was nothing like a pretty girl not slapping you across the face to do wonders for your confidence.

"I will see that the mission is carried out, Ishii Susumu-sama. I should be making my leave now... Please give your father, the Daimyō, my regards."

Red cheeked but proud, not of his announced proclivities but the fact that he had hopefully found a woman as perverse as himself on his first attempt. He let out a relieved breath and bowed his head slightly towards Tsubaki. "That I will, m'lady," he announced with a before unnoticed grace. He looked at the shocked and in some cases revolted faces of some of the on-lookers, a crowd of rubber-neckers for the most part finding what they were discussing more interesting than whatever it was that they were doing with their mundane lives. "Since apparently you are unspoken for," he added referring to the young blindman who had come to her side during his outburst. "You would be willing to accompany the ceremony as... my date?" Yes, it was a bit forward, but considering what the mind-witch had already forced him to admit in a public venue, there was only one place to go and it was not down.

Regardless of her silent answer he would turn his back to the pair and make his way to the exit. The incursion was a mere matter of days away so he would have to depart soon if he wanted to be out of the line of fire. His father was not the kind of man to make concessions for anyone. Not even his son. Shouki was always the favorite, despite lacking an honored line and despite having a legitimate claim to the seat he still gave his bastard their name. He still trusted Shouki to act as an agent on his behalf. A lot of good it did him, Shouki has been missing for over a year at this point, served him right. Nobody was going to take what was rightfully his. And now with a queen or a whore, not that it would make much of a difference either way, it would not be long before even his father was an unnecessary fixture. He still needed time of course, he was young. Too young. He had gained the understand of a man thrice his age during his tutelage in Tea but his lack of human contact has stunted him socially, it was a short-coming he recognized but he was working on it. He was also weak, physically that was. Despite having both Akimichi and Hyuuga blood running through his veins, his skillset was still latent and untested. Number Five had not yet had his way with him and he had no intention of taking a short-cut, who truly knew what dark infestation would accompany such sloth.

Yes, the fool was still a fool in many ways. Untested in the real world and with limited contact in social situations he, like many has clandestine perversions but one would still be left to ask -- is he only the prelude to a monster or would he prove to be the lesser of evils? For Tsubaki's sake, let us hope for the later.

The name that just rang out in her ear resonated in her head as the voice she recognized as Tsubaki's addressed the man with it, having overheard the telepathic connection through skin contact. Ishii... Susumu! Uh, aren't I supposed to bring him in? Judging by her words though it seemed like he was assigning her to a mission... She'd decided to ignore the man's quip, knowing for certain that Tsubaki was indeed still completely untainted by the likes of impure thoughts, and that the heat she felt in Tsubaki's arm was of embarrassment at the man having shouted so loudly in public while addressing her. She had a choice now; get Tsubaki to safety, or grab the man by the collar and hoist him off to the newly built Steward's tower, which was where she assumed he wanted the younger Ishii to be taken. Then again, it was unlikely that much would befall Tsubaki while she was still here... It was the hospital after all. She let go of the young bombshell's hand, reaching into her bag for some handy dandy ninja wire before dashing forward to try and tie the man up as silently as she could, now that he has his back turned. I don't know if he's the right one... But really how many Ishiis had she encountered in this village? Closest it's ever been was probably Ooishi and that was the name of her least favorite meat-and-potato croquette vendor because he never gave her freebies. She would start at the legs before moving on to his arms, and though she was pressed for time, she did try to make sure the limbs were tightly bound.

In the event that she succeeds, she would return to Tsubaki's side, taking care to leave the man on the ground as far away from Tsubaki and her underskirt shot as possible as she said her goodbyes and promised to explain later before dashing off towards the current Kazekage Tower. If she doesn't, the first thing she'll do is assess the situation and make sure he wasn't trying to draw any bloody circles on the ground. With luck, she might be able to catch the man off guard and try to incapacitate him with a swift blow to the solar plexus, along with a bit of Sound chakra manipulation to add that little extra punch into his guts.

Not for long? Not like I am saying no? Tsubaki's right hand tightened into a fist as she recounted his words in her head. Her desire to give the man a slap across his cocky face increased with every passing second. As nice as she was, and as considering and forgiving as she strove to be, she had been pushed over and walked on because of her decision to not speak many times in the past. Thankfully for the man, her hand was stayed due to her apparently limitless self-control. He may have been a lecherous lout, but he was the son of a very important individual and she couldn't go around teaching him any lessons, as much as she wished to do so. So, as he turned to leave, she closed her eyes and let out a quiet breath to attempt to relieve some of her pending frustration.

It was during that brief period that Naoki apparently flipped out and assaulted the noble man. As Tsubaki's eyes opened they proceeded to widen in surprise as she took half of a step back in confusion from what Naoki was doing. Her mouth drooped slightly, trying to search for what to say as she tried to figure out what had just transpired. Was Naoki that easily baited or sensitive? Did she feel such an overwhelming need to stand up for her taller inferior that she was willing to risk her position over such a mundane slight? Assuming Naoki's plan continued to fruiting she reached out and projected her urgent thoughts out to the overeager kunoichi. "Naoki-san, what in the world are you doing? He is the son of the Daiymo."

"Heck yeah, tie 'em up and kick his ass girl." called another voice, layered overtop of Tsubaki's inside of Naoki's head, sounding like a enthusiastic and gruff young man.

If Naoki attempted to force herself out of the hospital, Tsubaki wouldn't stop her, but she certainly wasn't going to be complacent in this, even if it was by her friend against some lecherous jerk.

Ishii Susumu
Heir Apparent - The Messenger

This was a rather successful journey, a mission request was delivered that would displace a small number of Sunan shinobis of a high rank and he got to talk to a cute girl. He had limited exposure to pretty girls in Tea Country, not that they suffered from a national hottie deficit but rather he was sent there in an academic capacity and to attempt to forge a union of his own with the Tea government he had little time to skirt chase. In time he would learn that he really had no need to chase anyone, be was the heir apparent and the most eligible bachelor in the country -- shame he did not have the sense to consider this yet.

As he made his departure, he was jumped from behind by the young boy who came to Tsubaki's side. His hands wrapped around Susumu's legs and the messenger toppled over not unlike a tree being felled. He braced his fall with his arms, yelling "the hell dude!" He crashed onto the floor, his legs tightly bound in ninja wire. His attempts to break free were met with only a biting pain as the wire dug into his ankles. His arm swiped in the direction of the young shinobi Samejima, the vasculature around the Hyuuga's eyes suddenly more pronounced. His arm would brush past Samejima, barely grazing her torso but enough for him to realize that she was no 'dude.' His face would turn several shades of red before it found tomato-red and lingered there.

She was pretty strong, as her little hands grabbed hold of Susumu's wrists and efficiently did the same to his arms Susumu protested? No, wrong word... attempted to deviate from her apparent plan. "Hey lady, look... there is enough of me to go 'round" He grunted with discomfort as she finished her final knot and left the heir of Wind Country on the ground. He wiggled and wormed about, although oddly enough there was something mildly exhilarating about a woman desiring his company this much. He would try to break free all the same, he was a one-woman man for now and he would be nearly successful but a punch to the gut would leave him gasping for air before he was slung over Samejima's shoulder.

Good job Samejima-- your first kidnapping and it had to be the heir of Wind Country.
