Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Slowly and carefully Shiranui lowered herself from the tiny hewn-out staircase and took a first step into the hot water gently bubbling underneath her. The heat quickly spread through her legs and she quickly walked in further, dropping the towel on a rock behind her and taking a seat. A relaxed sigh escaped the tired ninja's lips as the warmth spread through her entire body, washing away the aching pain from within the core of her muscles. "Haaaaa.... just what I needed." After a full day of training within the surrounding forests of Kumogakure Shiranui had built up quite the sweat, and an unlucky encounter -for them- with some of the local wildlife had ended up with the female ninja being covered with several bruises. A dip in the hotsprings always helped with those, so now she'd cut her training short to heal up for the rest of the night, hoping that by tomorrow the worst had passed so she could get back to giving the full 100% during training. She slid further in and went under, holding her breath for a short while as she remained underwater, taking in the gentle flow of the water before surfacing again. Her silvery white hair stuck to her face, so she cupped both her hands and moved her hair so that it looked slicked back. The youth stared at her with scars covered arms and couldn't help but chuckle. She called them her 'war scars', even if they were far from actual war scars. Half of those she'd received in the last few years during training, and were her badge of honor towards her resilient training regime, the others were mysteries. The doctors had said those had already been on her body from the time she'd first been found within the vicinity of Monumentum Deo, and were lost in the amnesia of her past.

Shiranui chuckled for a reason only known to her and twisted her arm to gaze upon a 3 inch large bruise upon her lower arm, and winced softly when she let her fingers slide over it in a gentle, caressing manner. That damned beast had done a good number on her. If the pain didn't recede by the next morning she might have to get it checked. But that were issues for tomorrow, nothing she should bother with today. With a happy sigh she slid back further into the hot water and exhaled underwater, letting the bubbles float to the surface where they popped as soon as they connected with the air. Looking at it intently she made the tiger seal and carefully regulated her chakra towards her fingertips, then moved her right hand above the surface and carefully placed it on the water's surface. Making a walking motion with her index and middle finger she felt how the water underneath her fingers felt like it had become more solid, making her try to exert more pressure upon them. This seemed to work till a certain point, after which her concentration shifted from maintaining the chakra flow in her fingers to the pressure she wished to exert, effectively breaking her concentration. "Interesting. Let's try that again." She muttered to herself, repeating the process she'd just completed. Maybe now it seemed like a futile effort, walking on water with only your fingertips and a minimum amount of weight, but she was sure that at some point in the future this would help her to achieve the bigger picture. Hopefully.
