Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

-Summer 40-

It was getting to that time of year where activity would find its finest points. People were entering vacations which in turn made business boom. His business would become a lot more relevant too, where people roamed, monsters followed. Especially if they were the man-eater type, which most of them were, and this is what essentially created the Masaru Clan’s cornerstone in Slaying. However this isn’t what would bring Yuuto to the lowlands of Lightning Country. This time around his job was about healing not killing. A farming village in the south western corner of the Lightning Country was being ravaged by a plague like virus. It was highly contagious and people were beginning to die from it. The villagers had done well in containing the incident, on their end. They barricaded themselves behind structures and dug motes to keep passerbys away. They salvaged their food sources and secured clean water. The villagers realized animals weren’t being infected by this plague just the people. So they sent word via messenger bird to Kumogakure seeking an expert Medical Shinobi.

Needless to say more on the conditions any expert wouldn’t do for this situation either. Basically going into the farming village meant instant infection and didn’t ensure they could do their job. However with high level medical jutsu there was a chance they could fend off the virus, it depended on how deep it went. Basically there was no telling if the Medical Shinobi could get in, heal the village, cure the virus, extract accurate data, all while preserving their own life.

However Masaru Yuuto was an exception of sorts. With his Chimera gene he had acquired the power of the Uchiha’s Sharingan being able to see chakra auras on all beings and the steadfast endurance of a Scorpio-Manticore. If no other Medical Shinobi, the Sonic King could definitely get the job done. He grabbed his coat, and his medical backpack bringing summoning scrolls that had research and medical kits stashed away. He also had a tent for setting up medical treatment, and he brought a ton of vials for creating and multiplying a cure.

Upon reaching the farming village Yuuto saw their attempts of keeping people away and was impressed. The villagers were smart and did the right thing even in a crisis. They would suffer, but it was much better this way. Had they not done so, and caused a giant outbreak they’d be looked at more of a hazard than a group of people in need. With his Sharingan activated Yuuto could see the chakra of the villagers who guarded the outside of the village. However there was something very precarious about this view. The villagers’ chakras seemed to all have a similar foreign chakra infecting their chakra turning it this dark purple. He could see that something else was at work here, and this dark purple chakra was trailing to somewhere away from the village.

“Seriously!? I bring all this equipment and the actual problem is something away from the village ... I guess I’m just lucky I have these eyes now.” He humbled himself realizing that even when he was a Chakra Sensor, this would have still been difficult to pinpoint. Whoever was doing this, was a pro at concealing their poisonous chakra, and they certainly weren’t shy about attacking the humans around here at the village.

Yuuto started heading towards the true source of the problem, leaving his equipment at the crossroads. He didn’t feel like drawing this problem out any further than it needed to go, realizing that the longer he took the more dangerous it got for the villagers. As he began dashing to the chakra source, he realized that he had no idea what was going to happen. Literally no information but for some reason he just didn’t care.

The closer Yuuto got, the more he saw the chakra streams trying to infect him. However he could dodge what he could see. Entering his Maximum Defense, Yuuto became incredibly nimble not caring for his regular accuracy considering he attacked mentally rather than physically. He would be damned if he got poisoned when he had just realized this was probably a jutsu or something. Eventually the stream attempting to touch him stopped, as if it was trying to hide itself, but he could still follow the ones that came from the village. His adversary must have been running the entire time, not realizing Yuuto could see its chakra rather than just sense it.

Eventually the trails led to a clearing on a mound of dirt, and then led downward into the ground. This foe must have been underground, and based on the hole Yuuto started to think it was a creature more than a person. This was most likely a den or a borough. He was about to enter the nest of some kind of poisonous creature. Yuuto took a deep breath bracing himself as he dove through the poison streams getting infected with something along the way. He instantly used Regeneration, one of his more favored Medical Jutsu, attempting to mend himself over time. After applying that jutsu, a heavy slimey tail crashed against Yuuto catching him off guard.

With his Sharingan activated, he had to still see the attacks coming. He focused himself waiting for the opportunistic creature to strike from the shadows. Another tail swipe came but this time Yuuto saw it with his Sharingan, and his third eye focused, working in conjunction with one another he was able to avoid the tail completely and counter attack with a Amp’d Wind Scar! This Sound Infused Wind Scar tore at the very air around the borough screeching as it slammed into its target. He prepared an Amp’d Stardust Nova, releasing a gigantic burst of sound comets that crashed into the enemy more. The creature fell from the ceiling unable to hide itself in the darkness any longer.

This creature had the upper body of a woman but the lower half of a snake. She was gigantic and her eyes piercing and distinct. She screeched as she regained her “footing” slithering back into the shadows. Yet Yuuto had seen her and he wasn’t planning on letting her go that easily. He grabbed onto her tail squeezing as tight as he could as he began to rap at the reptilian woman. He had to channel his inner Oki Sean for this one.

First Yuuto would activate his Mangekyou Sharingan as the creature crashed around the den trying to get Yuuto off of her. Next he’d shout, using his Sound Affinity to boost his vocal projection range catching her attention. She’d look at him if only for a moment, and that was all he needed. Her glare to meet his, and then she was all Yuuto’s. He activated the Tsukiyomi which immediately halted her movements for a split second. Then the pair would enter the Illusionary World.

In this world Yuuto had complete control for about seven and a half seconds. He wasted no time casting a Amp’d Rasen-Shuriken attacking with a full sound burst that cut the creatures chakra connection. Yuuto saw it with his Mangekyou, and he realized that the severed chakra weakened the creatures jutsu. He would get real basic and use the Rasen-Shuriken once more dealing another mental chakra severe hurting the creature even more. He’d end the Illusion world seeing that the damage had been done and the creature was on its side.

In the real world, Yuuto was using his Mangekyou more pushing out an Amatersau, a torrent of Black Flames that would not stop burning their target until it died. He sentenced the creature to death as It writhed in pain to the flames. “It’s real easy for you to attack unsuspecting people but I already know your weakness. Your chakra being severed hindered your control over them didn’t it? If that’s the case then here’s the Reaper’s Gaze”. He’d channel it through his eyes giving the creature a taste of a powerful Visual Genjutsu. It began to become encumbered by fear believing to have seen the Reaper. If only they knew that they probably really were. The Reapear was never too far from Yuuto, he still owed it one last meal, His soul.

Yuuto watched the creatures jutsu stop entirely while he then used Ocular Assault causing more mental pain while the creature burned to death. He’d wait until it was completely ash, before he left and went back to the farming village.

At the Farming Village, Yuuto spoke to the elder, who was shocked that everyone who was still alive was making a complete recovery. He explained the situation to the villagers and then helped them collect their fallen. Yuuto spent the day building a pyre and burning their kin with Amaterasu eradicating any remnants of the infection. He also used Medical Jutsu on the villagers’ water giving it healing properties for a few minutes, enough to spread the love around. He spent a bit more time with the villagers before leaving them to mourn their lost ones. Now that his job was over he would head back to the village and reflect on the events that transpired here.
