[Chigokai Yuna]

Yuna would stand idly by at the center of the Colosseum. She wore plain anbu garb and cloak along with a plain mask with fake hair to cover her real hair. She was here today to test a certain Genin, one Koga Akane to see if she has the makings of a Chunin. A sigh escaped from underneath her mask. Akane seemed a bit hot headed and headstrong. A bit like her mentor, Ryu Rei. The Anbu Sennin would wonder what is going on with Rei. She only had one interaction with her, and it seemed like the woman had a lot on her mind, far more than she let on. Something that probably led to her stepping down.

And because of that, Yuna now has to pick up some of the work. That includes passports and travels. Akane, a Genin, wanted to travel out to deal with some Tenouzans. Regrettably, Yuna can't just let the girl go just easily as the rules are against a Genin going out on their own to explore the great big world on their own. The Tenouzans are in of themselves still a very dangerous threat, one that can't be taken lightly. And even though this Akane has racked up some unique monster kills, she must know that sometimes fighting another human to the death is worst than fighting a monster.

This is where Yuna comes in. Her own battle prowess and battle iq is high. She is a very skilled fighter with much power. She will have to see if Akane is ready to brave the dangers that await her.

 

[Koga Akane]

A metal door flung open from the main entrance to the Torre Empirea corporate building. In a huff stepped out Akane kicked up dust while her eyes scanned the area. The sun glimmered off her skin and illuminated her light brown hair. A handed dusted navy blue jacket and white shirt while the other patted her ass free of dust. She sucked her teeth, “All of my past achievements. The Big Kuma… Rot Devil… Did Honnou ever write that report… Shitjas…” With a shift of her shoulder to adjust her holster of her spear the teen continued to ramble to herself. Her mind always traced back to her senpai. The memory of their first encounter at the parlor. ‘That bill was too damn expensive…’ Her head shook to physically clear her thoughts.

Rei overtook her mind more than her own family. Was such a thing safe to say, yet even believe in. Akane’s perseverance clashed against the odds everyday. ‘After this clean cut exam maybe I’ll see if that jerk is near bear… I wonder what’s past there…’ Her path had led her to the colosseum tunnels. The scenery felt familiar, an air of nostalgia flowed over her. The bubbling of anxiety in the pit of her stomach from when she fought in these same walls back in her homeland. However, the one in Kumogakure… Once hidden in shadow, now encapsulated by the sunlight once more. Brown hues scanned the area observing the landscape, “It’s too clean.” Suspicions of Kumogakures true strength filled her mind but in reality it showed just how truly barbaric Tenouzan's way of life was.

Akane continued to move out onto the open ground of the colosseum. In the middle, Sennin Abyss, her examiner. With her arm still over her head, fingers coiled around the pole of her spear. With ease she equipped her Divine Sunderer and rested it on her shoulders. She stopped a few meters away from the Sennin. Her serious demeanor fell quickly, as the worst situations. Her eyes darted left and right shifting her body to look over the Sennins shoulder. Her words drew out slowly, “Am… I… fighting you?” She pointed a finger at the Sennin. “Hardly fair! You don’t even draw weapons in a combat zone! Respect the arena!” No matter the status the thick headed teen gave anyone from her mother, to Rei, even Kumogakurain nobles.

[Chigokai Yuna]

Yuna would wait for the girl to arrive. And arrive she did. It seemed that she was just now realizing that she will be fighting Yuna to see if she is worthy of the Chunin rank. And such a thing shouldn't be handed out so easily in Yuna's mind. She would then go on and complain about how that fighting a Sennin is unfair and that Yuna needs to respect the coliseum rules and draw her weapon. Yuna would close her eyes and take a deep breath before drawing forth her weapon.

Blood seeped out from her right hand and formed into a sword. Crimson was the name of her weapon. Something her father had told her about. Making a sword out of blood is something that many few outside of those of Chigokai lineage can do. Yuna would hold it at the ready as she spoke, "If you go through life and just call things unfair because you think you lack the proper tools or experience, you will forever lack the resolve to complete your goals. You are fighting me rather than going on some menial task for Chunin exams because while you have impressive feats to kill monsters and creatures. I need to know if you can handle fighting a human."

With that said, she formed hand seals, and a drop of blood fell down to the ground and a poof of smoke filled the arena. Akane would now see a fourth foot snake looming over her. "Humans are smarter than monsters and beasts and will use anything and everything at their disposal of they want to accomplish their goals. If you truly wish to come out victorious on your mission against the Tenouzan's then you will have to use everything in your arsenal. But for now, you have to prove to me that you can. Don't worry, I'll even hold back for you." She would say the last part to see if she can trigger a response. Her goal here was to see how far Akane can go, and whilst she will make this battle hard for her, Yuna's goal isn't to beat the genin to a pulp as that would contradict what she is trying to do.

[Koga Akane]

The two kunoichi stood a spears length away from each other. The soft breeze kicked up the dust to swirl around Sennin Abyss and Akane. A subtle smirk painted her lips as she tried to coax the Sennin to reveal her weaponry. The reveal piqued her interests, like her own Divine Sunderer the Sennins' weapon would materialize into a physical object on command but hers… wasn’t made from the essence of her dragon-infused soul. No, the Sennins' coagulated from her blood that streamed down from her hidden arm like a river into her hand to manifest into a physical weapon. At the draw of her weapon Akane’s lackadaisical demeanor flipped like a switch into a serious tone. Her shoulders straightened out to allow her stance to shift for the imminent battle. The smirk fell from her face, listening to the Sennins words.

Suddenly a smoke bomb shrouded the Sennin, leaving Akane blind momentarily. Akane’s head tilted back slightly while her eyes widened. Another entity entered the battlefield. Shortly then the smoke cleared, unblinking Akane stared at the Sennin with eyes infused with the adrenaline of battle. To be lectured by the enemy about human opponents who use their cunning to find the sliver of hope to gain advantage in battle. Akane rebutted, “Hold back?” Her brown hues threw daggers at the masked Sennin. “Don’t disrespect me. Give it your all or simply promote me.” She spat on the ground. What a lady. Often portrayed as a hard-headed goofball, the adrenaline of a coming battle boiled her Tenouzan blood into action “Humans are the true monsters. Murderous shinobi should know about that.” At the end of her sentence her sunderer twirled in her hand, catching it and in one swift motion the spearhead lunged toward the Sennin’s mask. The adrenaline of battle overtaking any small residue of patience she had left.

[Chigokai Yuna]

Yuna would let out a small sigh as the girl rather egged the Sennin on rather than accept her to go easy. She didn't really like the attitude this girl had, but she wasn't going to just go all out as that would defeat the purpose of this fight. But she will at least give the girl an idea of how Yuna fights.

Aura built up and surrounded the Sennin as she would harness her inner powers and thusly, her own genetic implant. She would flow through her handseals as she seen Akane come in for a strike, hitting her, but not really doing much. as it glanced off the mask. Though it looked like a plain mask, Yuna made this to withstand repeated strong attacks. But it won't mean that she can't feel it. Shrugging off the pain she would let blood drip from her sword as it would turn into a red tidal wave that hit Akane full force. As the blood settled on the ground, Yuna would notice that Akane was now bleeding.

"Whenever you fight someone, never let them get the upper hand. They will use everything in their arsenal. Such as a Chigokai using their blood, especially if their opponent is bleeding." She would stop talking as she would see Akane start making hand seals for making clones. Her eyes narrowed. her powers from the genetic implant took effect as she swung Crimson. Three strikes and all of her clones were destroyed and Akane herself is now bleeding even more, though that wasn't from the attacks, no. An ability from the Chigokai bloodline once a target is defeated, the Chigokai powers can lash out and cause damage to the targets allies along with making them bleed, presumably from where the target was last hit at. Yuna would then back off, assessing Akane's actions as she now had a taste of the Sennin's powers.

And that's when Akane struck out. Yuna recognized that to be a very accurate move. She took the hit in her shoulder and was able to calculate another attack coming at her at high speeds. She would dodge it effortlessly by simply moving her body to the side and readied herself for the next onslaugt of attacks.
