Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Waiting in the library Yukio waited for Izumi to arrive browsing through the books in thought, in hindsight this process should have happened sooner rather than later one of the most basic aspects of being a Shinobi was good communication something Izumi lacked at this point. He didn't mind doing it the ANBU had always been more than willing to help out the younger generation of the leaf village in whatever way he could looking over his shoulder to the others present most were young aspiring students preparing for exams or classes coming up in the near future.

The sight brought a smile to his face bringing him back to the many days he spent here he was so young back then some would even say naïve but those days were long gone now lost to the pages of his past something on occasion Yukio would rather forget given the steps he had to take to get to this point in the first place. In the end however it was something the Hyuuga would have to accept sooner or later but that would be a problem for the Yukio of tomorrow to deal with.

Selecting a few simple books he piled them on a nearby desk selecting those that would make the lesson go much smoother though there was still uncertainty in his mind, it was a different kind of lesson there was no combat nor the teaching of Jutsu this was a matter of teaching someone who had never spoken a word since he'd met them to form full sentences and gain the confidence to speak to others in the same way. Though it seemed like a small thing this would never be the case a miscommunication in the field could drastically change the outcome of the missions at hand.

Izumi was a little nervous, how was he supposed to this... He knew he would be summoned about this matter sooner or later also because he said he wanted to do this. He slowly bit down on the tip of his thumb. Watching paper in front of him he started to scribble a bit. He was nervous how this was going to go... as he wasn't even fully sure how to make a single sound all he knew was sigh and make a flinching sound...
While thinking about this all he started to make his way towards the destination. It was in the library of the school and he was a little fiddling to be here. He had already been nights here. Slowly he started to get worried he would get a comment when he entered. A little careful he looked around and saw the ANBU sitting with lots of books. He was his teacher before and now again. He was a little scared to leave him down another time and got towards him a little nervous.

He went towards him and waved a little, his mouth moved with as he wanted to say something but no noise was with, but he did move his mouth so it showed he had at least tried a little to learn before this appointment. Slowly he started to result towards the book again, forgetting this person could read his signing as the past classes hardly anyone could or the past persons he had talked towards. He showed a page where something was already written so easy to show.
'Hello again, thank you for making time to help me out with this matter.' Then he took it back and started to write and show. ' I hope I won't fail you again this time sir. It was clear the last session was still bugging him and he had also written down that is was his fault for being left out there because of the lack in communication and would try more than his best today.

Seeing the reaction of the Student to meeting him again Yukio made a dismissive gesture with his hand it was true Izumi had been involved in the chain of events that had caused the previous class to go awry however the main reason it had escalated was due to the following actions of Maru and Kouza. "Do not dwell on such things, that is all in the past and there was more students than you involved in that incident. Though i will be teaching you proper communication today as such a thing could easily save your life in the near future."

Motioning to the seat next to him a book was slid over the table to the young student seeming to be a book on basic pronunciation so much so it could almost be mistaken as a book for preschoolers. "Do not be insulted if these seem simplistic, i said i would teach you and considering i have not heard you speak a word since we met i have to assume you have no idea how to. Taking that into consideration we're starting from the very beginning so the first thing i want you to try is forming a simple statement with the assistance of these books."

It was a rather simple task at least to someone who had been able to speak since their early years but the Hyuuga was more understanding than that having done some research before the lesson and the longer someone waited to learn how to achieve speech the harder it would become, if too much time passed it would more than likely be the case it could not be achieved at all and these early tests would see if they had reached that point or not. Yukio had expectations for the student however in the few times they'd met Izumi had shown the will to learn and improve and he hoped that attitude would surface again here.

Izumi was listening to him... Not dwell too much on it, how did one do such a thing... He slowly sat down on the chair and was listening towards the person next to him. He had a strange feeling like he felt safe again. He started to lean slightly on to the table. Looking towards the book he felt a little ashamed... It was true that he never spoke... but in his eyes, this was almost a child's book for how to read.
However, he did start on it... He was quickly reading it and moved his mouth a little... Yet at the first few tries, there wasn't even a single sound leaving the throat. It was that he shifted and hit his elbow on the electricity part that he made a little sound. "Ie--" Was the sound and it was slightly higher pitched then most boys would have been. Izumi bit down his lip and went over the spot that was rather sensitive at the very moment.

He then would blink a few times... He made a sound... instantly he got flushed red and was rather afraid of the past repeating... He had a mixed up feeling that he was glad and this sudden anxious happening right now and he wasn't sure why. He didn't remember that he stopped making sounds because of his parents in the past. Izumi's parents had often fight when he was back in the days in Sand. He was about making giggling sounds and got his parents very angry at him, placing him away in his dark child's room which had somehow managed to scar him. Especially his dad with the loud noise. Which was the reason he had never spoken again, until today where he had made a single sound and was somewhat hiding away in the book?

Hearing the boys attempt at speaking it seemed this was going to be a long process but that was expected from the beginning the fact of the matter was teaching someone to do something they had never done before was never an easy matter but between the two of them he had some confidence they could make something of this given enough time. "Well you tried so that's better than not doing anything at all. Just keep it up and you'll get the hang of it." He would close the book in that moment turning his chair towards the student.

"Don't worry about how correct you are in pronouncing these words at first, instead think more about how much you can say without tripping up. I know it seems difficult at first but you'll get the hang of it trust me." He smiled to him in that moment hoping to give the nervous student a boost of confidence before making the attempt again thinking of what he could attempt to say, there was an obvious one if they were starting from the basics. "Let's start small trying saying My name is Izumi as I said before don't worry about getting all the pronunciations correct but just see if you can form the sentence."

He didn't seem like he was judgemental or even mind the sound of Izumi's voice seeming more focused on making the process of teaching as easy as possible, modifying his methods as he learned more. For Yukio it was both like teaching a much younger child but he never let himself forget that Izumi was much older than that meaning there was a chance his quick learning personality would lead to him being able to at least make some form of sentence before the day was done.

He had made a small sound and was rubbing his elbow, it was quite sensitive as he had hit the soft spot on there. Rubbing it with a little care he slowly bit down on his lip. He was a little hiding away from the book which was soon removed and his eyes met those of the teacher. He was a little lost looking at the moment and looked soon a little more downwards.
It was strange for him to not getting scolded... at least that was the thing he was thinking about... Slowly he started to tilt his head a little around. So... He wasn't even angry that he made a small sound... He was super, to say the least, and started to raise his hand to scratch his cheek a little... He was slowly muttering a thing or two to himself and would straighten himself.
"Let's start small trying saying My name is Izumi as I said before don't worry about getting all the pronunciations correct but just see if you can form the sentence."

It seemed with how Izumi was sitting that he had at least a little bit more courage to do so... He started to try and focus better. He took a deep breath and tried to start on my... "m-hie." He managed after a few tried. He wanted to try to have that at least a little right and started to repeat it. It took him at least 5 solid mins to get my right and then the rest. After a solid hour he would be able to pronounce the line but with some errors.

"Mie name is Isumi." There was a huge smile on his face as he said it and couldn't really help but giggle partly silent partly at loud. It made the librarian notice them and giving a glare towards the student. as if He should be knowing better and Izumi would soon sit down again and scratch the back of his head... He was a little insecure but the smile didn't fade.

It was a start a much kinder look coming across the Hyuuga's features than previous meetings with him hearing Izumi make the effort he could have expected no less if from the young boy. Even then it was still going to take time the sentence was there and understandable but lacked the pronunciation as expected however that was something to be worked on later for now simple and complex sentences were going to be key as Yukio pondered for a moment.

"Now that you know you can do the basics think of something yourself, something you think you'd normally say or write it could have been something you've said before in a class or what you would respond to me with now." It was a small test to see if Izumi could do something without reference using information seen and gained over time after being around people so much. It was a slim chance such things rarely came so easily but the hope.

Leaning forward into the chair and placing his hands together he wondered what the Student would say or what would be the first thing that came to mind. "Don't worry if it takes a few tries think about learning to speak as if your learning a Jutsu, it's not always going to happen first time and on occasion may take more time than you expect but its always worth it in the end." it was a strange experience had someone told Yukio a few years back he would be teaching an academy student to speak and communicate it would have been met with raised eyebrows and confused looks though time had taught him to expect the unexpected.

"If you feel you can't do it you have all the books you need in this place to help you, don't be afraid to admit you can't and that you need help but that doesn't mean don't try yourself first."

Izumi was glad he had been able to make somewhat lf a scentence for himself. Being a whole lot more cheerfully he started to dance a bit at his chair. For himself this alone had been a huge hill.
The fact that he dared to speak was also because he was fully trusting the person next to him. Yet little did he know that this anbu was the same as the person he had a whole adventure with. Even though this person reminded him of that person... He kept smiling all the way.
He listened towards him and was nodded a little.... But... His courage was soon sinking to his feet. He was listening and nodding....
Seemed like he had to come up with a scentance himself... Pronouse it as best as he could. He obviously didn't want to let the other down and started to think. He raised his head for a moment when he started to listen more and more..He got a encouraging moment again from him and slowly he would nod which started to get into a quicker phase.

Seemed that he still had some time to figure out before he could reach to the books...
He wanted to reach for his notebook but stopped his movement halfway. His mind was also stopping for a moment and he pulled his arm back... Writing down first then try to read wouldn't make much of a difference either. Slowly he took a deep breath in and tries to say something. He had in instandly thing in his mind... A thing he had left out in the last ANBU class when he had gotten that angry... For a moment he swallowed and open up his mouth. "I..." he paused for an moment... Frowning on hiw he should say... What he should say correct and spelled it out a littke on his fingets. "I neeveer sai." and then he shut down for a ljttle... Knowing it didn't made much sense and started his old habit biting down on his knuckle. Bit hard to leave imprints, almost as if he punished himself in a way for doing this poorly.
He tried again and didn't got much further, in fact he couldn't even say it the same way and he eventually would slowly reach for the book shaking his head and got a bit frustrated. He reqlly wanted to try his best and at least got a tiny part. With the book he managed to come further.
"I neevee sai at A. B. U lass... A.. A. N. D." pronouncing the others name was a true hell hole for him as for now.. He wanted to tell him desperately and slowly did start to look up more... Not wanting to let his friend down here.

From what he could see it would take more time than they had on their hands to complete the task at hand but what had begun here was a good start, though certain areas could use work the foundation was there to keep building on what had began. As Yukio listened to Izumi he pondered on what the Student was attempting to say there were a few words that stood out though not many it was quite a big thing to ask of someone who hadn't attempted this before. "From what you've said I think your speaking of something ANBU related? A lesson perhaps though the fact you've almost managed to do this on your own is impressive. If you keep going at this rate you'll be able to speak in no time you just have to believe you can do it. The journey starts with a single step after all." It was an attempt to perk up the Students spirits whether it would work or not was another matter.

Becoming disheartened was usually a sure fire way to slow down most learning processes planting a seed of doubt in the mind that wouldn't easily go away and something that should be prevented if possible. In the few meetings the Hyuuga had with Izumi they'd always come across as quite shy or easily frightened though to Yukio very few things could send a shiver up his spine after the numerous missions outside the safety of the village.

Moving the pile of books to Izumi he gestured for him to take them "Take these home with you and practice, by the next time we meet I hope you are able to speak a bit more and don't be afraid to try and speak to others, real life experience is usually the best experience."

Izumi was slowly nodding... He had it quite hard as for the moment and bit down on his lip a little sulking. He wasn't able to tell him at all... He was glad his friend tried to support him and lift up his mood. He gave a tiny smile in return and looked towards the things the other was grabbing. He had to bring those home with him in order to learn more about the speech... He would nod and most certainly keep on trying, that was when he was alone at first... He was rather ashamed of it that he still had to learn. Which left a set of healthy colored cheeks to get on his face.

Izumi would take the books and take a small bow towards him, as a thank you. "T-ank- yuu." He managed to say after he searched a book... He really wanted to keep on going with this and this was one way or another to do so. After a goodbye, Izumi would pack the books and start walking out the academy towards his home, back at home he would place everything on the dinner table and look around... Home... Alone... and with that, he left a huge sigh and started to be bored around the house.
