Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Harupia took in a deep breath looking up to the sky. Sun was as scorching as ever, though at least the gracious forces of nature allowed for some clouds to come and provide a bit of shade, if only temporary. And within the training ground, there were spots hidden from the Sun as well, be it through the architecture or natural means as trees scattered around the field. It was a cooler day than average, which meant it was a nice chance to have a bit of an outdoor class.

With a batch of somewaht fresher students, he felt it would be a good way to ease them in and have them fidgeting in their class seats. He watched as slowly students started to filter in, waving to them to direct them towards himself. At first, it seemed like it was a bit of a bare-bones field, with seemingly nothing to use as any sort of prop or source of information... But that would be part of the presentation. For now, he waited for everyone to come to the meeting space.

"EXCITING ENTRANCE!"

She yelled as she flew from seemingly nowhere into the training field, kicking up the smaller sand particles and dust in the area, choking out the nameless faceless students in the area. She had a sucker in her mouth, a staple of her attire. She was wearing a nice purple dress, and had a backpack on. It didn't have any actual school supplies in it though, just candy and treats. She plopped it down under a tree, so the candy didn't melt or stick together, depending on what was in there.

"I'm Karasu Shiho!" she said, to anyone who would listen.

The teacher had decided to have a class out in the training field, which could only mean one thing. The lesson for today was likely sparring against each other or students. To that end Haku Ren comes prepared. Ren was training to be a puppeteer like her adoptive father. She knows how to mold chakra, but some jutsu type seem to allude her. To anyone that has met Ren it would be quite obvious as to why she seems to have trouble with hand seals. Ren just prays that this teacher doesn’t try to forcibly remove her hand puppet like that other teacher. That class did not end well.

Soon what appears to be a toddler would come barreling to the location which the class would be held. In its hurry the little one trips a couple of times, but quickly got back up and started running again. The little one looked to be a girl and wore a green coat with bunny ears. She also seems to possess a small rabbit hand puppet, which she wore on her left hand. As the little one got closer it was easier to tell that it wasn’t a toddler at all but a doll being controlled by chakra strings. The doll runs up to Karasu and climbs into her lap.

Following the doll was a larger version of what they just saw. Ren was four times bigger than her doll counterpart. Ren wore such a similar outfit to the doll that is was scary accurate. The chakra string was not connected to Ren’s hands but to the paws of her own white rabbit hand puppet. It was as if Ren was puppeteering through a puppet. The actual human girl walks up to the teacher and gives a polite bow of respect, “I am Haku Ren.” Like the other student she also takes a seat on the ground and waited for the class to start.

So far it was a fairly peaceful gathering, with the students listing themselves off as they came to. Some faces he was familiar with from either the halls or other lessons, some new ones, some looked apprehensive, some looked a bit bored. He regarded them all with a soft smile...before a shouting figure rushed into the scene with enough gust to kick up a bit of a sand cloud, though he managed tow ave it of with his own talents fairly quick. It was a petite blue-haired girl with quite a nice looking dress. That could... make things slightly interesting for her depending on how the lesson went. With a chuckle, he listed off her name while saying "I like that Gusto Karasu-chan. I hope you'll enjoy the lesson as much as getting here"

Another blue-haired girl joined not to long after, though it seemed she had company. He had to double-take before he noticed the smaller child which moved to the other girl's lap was indeed a puppet. He regarded the girl who was wearing a hand puppet while also manipulating the other doll through it. Not something he recalled seeing other puppeteers do. He returned the bow with a small of his own as he said "Well met Haku-chan...and I think that would be everyone now" he said, rising his voice to get the attention of the gathered class.

"Welcome Everyone. As you may know, I am Sunaku Harupia, and I focus on anything related to understanding Chakra and Ninjutsu. It might be a subject some of you may be a bit more familiar than others" he said glancing over the class, including Ren and her talent of manipulating the puppet with chakra strings "But I'm hoping this will be a bit more interesting than a simple lecture. Though I have come prepared in case some of you need a bigger reminder" he said with a smile as he spun around, taking out a scroll from under his vest and expanding it. With a few poofs of smoke, somewaht large chalkboard appeared behind him, half it has a drawing of the human body and a simplified look of how Chakra was distributed through the body, another presenting all the known hand seals and the combinations needed for the rudimentary elemental techniques before he asked "How many of you had already had experience manipulating chakra into an element?" trying to get a show of hands from the class.

It seems Ren will be the last one to join as the teacher starts the lesson shortly after her arrival. Naturally he starts with an introduction; giving his name and his specialty. He gives a comment about how some may be more familiar with chakra then others and glances straight at her. She sort of wished he didn’t do that because everyone followed his gaze and that does not help her shyness. Looking at some of the faces, she could tell she already made some enemies. If this were a normal class she would be sinking in her seat right now, but they were outside and there was no place to hide. Ren was visibly shaking from nervousness, which did cause some to chuckle. The rabbit then dives into Ren’s pouch and comes out with what looks like a piece of candy. “Here this will calm your nerves.” Ren unwraps the candy, plops it into her mouth and was about to toss the paper aside, but instead holds onto it.

Ren had three skills that she was proud of: ventriloquism, making sweets and sewing. The thing she just put into her mouth was one of her own making. It was a sphere of sugar with a surprise in the center. It almost sounded like she had a marble in there when the candy bumps against her teeth, but it did resemble hard candy. The teacher, if sharp enough, may notice something about the wrapping as it was no ordinary wrapping paper but a trap. It is these candies that is her primary stock which she sells as a journeyman. Ninja Gear disguised as inconspicuous objects sell pretty well.

When the teacher asks if any of them had experience with manipulating chakra into an element. A boy with a scar across his left cheek not only proudly raises his hand, but also decided to demonstrate by casting a wind slash jutsu, which was directed straight at Ren. Ren blocked the attack with her hand and the paper which she held had a seal that glowed on impact. The boy would see a similar seal appear in the palm of his hand. It was a Chakra Restrictive Seal, so he won’t be casting that again. She then spits out what remained of her ‘candy’ into her hand and crushes it. It was condensed clotting powder and though it burns the bleed was quickly stopped. After her last encounter with the boy she knew what to expect.

“What the hell gives!? You did that on purpose!” the puppet cries out, but the boy insists it was merely an accident. She knew the boy was lying, but she could not exactly prove it was the case.

Haru clicked his tongue in slight annoyance... his enthusiasm for talented people one again backfired slightly, seeing some of the students turn to Ren with not so pleasant attention. Some snickering at her, some casting envious glances...and it didn't seem to help the clearly somewaht shy girl. Though she seemed to have a... helping hand in a way. The rabbit puppet offered her a candy...and she even gave it a voice. An interesting talent. He coughed in a loud voice, trying to gather everyone's attention back to him. He did notice the wrapper of the treat she didn't throw away...and what looked like specific seals on it... a trap? Disguised as a wrapper? A flashback to a certain boy who exploded a smoke bomb in his class came to his head... he sincerely hoped this lesson ould be less eventful int hat regard.

...and his hopes were dashed in seconds as one of the members of the class decided to demonstrate their abilities...firing a jutsu in the middle of a crowd of kids...which somehow got aimed at Ren. In less than a blink of an eye, Haru was behind the boy, holding him up by the scruff of his shirt, though he couldn't catch the projectile in time...luckily it didn't seem necessary. The girl used her hand to defend the blow, the sealed paper seemingly blocking a bit of the impact, and even managing to apply a seal on the boy's hand. He did see some bleeding on the hand, but the blue-haired girls also seemed to have that covered with her candy... She almost seemed to prepared for such an occasion. Concerning.

As the bunny puppet and boy seemingly argued, he lifted the boy as he said in a low tone "You accidentally...fired a jutsu in the middle of your peers... And you didn't think that one of them might get hit?" staring down at the boy as he said "Well, you probably won't be doing that again with the seal on your hand now. And quite frankly I dont feel its safe for anyone to let you use your abilities in this class if you dont consider who you might hit with them... And if your not more careful moving forward, you might very well get such a seal permanently on you...so please try to be more careful in the future, yes?!" he finished as he set the boy back down hard *We'll talk more after class, now at least try to focus on actually learning something"

He didn't praise the girl, as it would probably get more of the less welcome attention. Sighing he would say "Now that...could I get a show of hands as to who can use a jutsu like this?" and as he suspected, quite a few were up. "Ok than. Those of you who had a bit more trouble with the learning you can approach the boards here with me. For the others" he mused as he focused his sand on the ground next to him, a mound of informing and shaping itself, and in a few moments a clone of him stood in front of the class "I thought it might be a good chance for some target practice in a less...static environment" he said grinning a bit at his students, the clone giving a small wave.

It would not be the first time the boy got scolded and will surely not be the last. Some kids just never learn. Fortunately no real damage was done and the teacher continues on with the class. The teacher asks the class who can use a jutsu simpler to the one the boy had just attacked Ren with. Ren did not raise her hand as she did not know any ninjutsu. Ninjutsu often required handseals in order to be cast and Ren has obvious reasons why she has problems with hand seals. Ren gets up from where she was sitting and was starting the head in the direction of the boards when her rabbit hand puppet seems to have an idea. The rabbit comes close to Ren; putting her mouth to Ren’s ear. The sound of whisper could be heard, though what was being said would only be mystery.

Ren suddenly changes direction and heads towards the clone. While some of the kids were taking their turn striking at the clone, Ren was busy with preparations. She pulls out a sheet of chakra induction paper, which will likely further Haru’’s remembrance of Hakuren, and beings to fold it. Ren folds it into an origami crane and tosses it up in the air. She attaches a chakra string to it and it bursts into flame as the crane transforms into a phoenix. Ren makes a habit out of disguising her traps and therefore it should be no surprise in her weapon also being something so inconspicuous. The flaming bird the dives down and attempts to peck at the clone the teacher had provided.

One of the student that was at the board quickly notices the chakra string connecting Ren to the bird and calls foul. “That’s a taijutsu not a ninjutsu.” The rabbit hand puppet readily and eagerly defends her master though Ren was hoping no one would say anything. “He asked about experience manipulating chakra into an elements, he di…” Ren covers the rabbit’s mouth and suddenly Usagi’s voice would be muffled. Ren does a polite bow, “My apologies.” Rather than allowing her companion to start a heated debate she surrenders. Ren walks over to the board which she probably should have done in the first place.

Harupia watched as some of the students approached while some were already trying their luck firing the abilities towards the clone. The sand construct which looked like an exaggerated form of the teacher wearing the garb you would see on the benevolent genies in some tales simpled smiled as it bobbed and weaved, managing to avoid the small bursts of elemental power coming at it with relative ease "Practice while it matters, we'll be having an actual training competition by the end of this class" he said both in warning and wanting to encourage some of the students, with a more competitive nature.

He was a bit suprised at the blue hair girl first approaching the board, but afgter...conuslting the rabbit puppet on her hand decided to do something else. Preparing a sheet of charka conduction paper and folding it into a shape of a bid before tossing it into the air. He could see the Chakra string connect her free hand to the origami and make it burst into flame before it went for the target. The clone was a bit unprepared for an attack from that angle but did manage to avoid it, if bearly, nodding approvingly towards the girl.

Before he could say something one of the girls pointed out that this was a different type of attack, and the girl...both defended herself via her puppet but that accepted the argument. Hmm...this was a bit odd. He did move to Ren and crouched down to be a bit more level with her as he said "I have to admit that was bending the rules a bit... but being able to use the string technique does show you have quite the degree of control over your chakra. The only thing missing is needed to do the handseals for the specific jutsu...do you have difficulties doing them?" he asked, before turning to the puppet on her hand (regardless of whether the girl herself would respond to his questions or if the puppet would do so) before speaking directly to it "I can imagine Ren here needs her hand to help you...but would you be mad if she sometimes used both of her hands for something else?" As weird as it could look it did seem the girl was more comfortable channeling her thoughts through the rabbit puppet or at least using it as an intermediary of sorts. He figured he might achieve better results trying to talk with both it and the girl, knowing full well fully grasping what might be causing her to act like this might take a while

"Zzzz..."

She had fallen asleep almost immediately after getting there, blanking out on almost everything that had happened. The night before she had been abducted, and an experiment done on her unbeknownst to her. The sedative, in conjunction with losing a bloodline she didn't know she had and her body now treating her meals differently, had taken it's toll. She was startled awake not be a weak explosion, but by the whispering of the puppet into the little girls ear. Something so minute, jarring her awake, drool glistening her chin quite heartily.

"I...I'm ready for it!" she got up, throwing up fists and punching half awake and sleepily into the air around her, shadow boxing style except she's off by a large margin in what she should be doing. As her vision came into focus, she saw kids throwing skills at the teacher, but the teacher also at a black board. She shook her head, seeing double. She had never seen a clone before, so it was a bit jarring. She knew the weird puppet girl, so she'd just follow her, leaning into the puppet and whispering to it.

"What are we suppose to be doing? I don't know how to do any of that!" she pointed over to the people doing jutsus. She was really good at face planting, but that was about it. This was her very first class, so it was paramount she caught up.

Shiho was asleep and the little Ren-chan puppet seems to be doing the same. When she suddenly wakes up punching the air, thelittle puppet goes flying into the sand. The little Ren puppet get up, dusts herself of and follows Shiho like a little duckling. (See first post) Shiho did not get any response as Ren was currently going through something right now. The teacher was making it quite clear that he wanted Ren to remove the puppet, however this suggestion only served to give Ren some un-needed stress.

What Haru did not understand is Ren was a former slave and they did some really horrible things to break her. Ren still remembers the first day of slavery. She was given a dune rabbit and was told to take care of it. The reasoning she was given for this is that she will be expected to take care of their master and possibly the master’s family. She was to learn proper care-taking through this or so she was lead to believe. She named the rabbit Usagi. Slave training was harsh with severe punishments. Often she would be whipped for speaking, while being told that slaves should be seen and not heard. For major offenses she was put into a metal box for an hour. The box was outside in the sun and would bake anyone unfortunate to climb in there. One month into slave training she was given an order and was told that disobedience would be punished with an entire day in the box. The order was to kill her rabbit. The rabbit was not to teach her proper care-taking, it was to test obedience. Ren does not even remember how it happen. All she remembers after getting that order was the rabbit lying dead at her feet and blood dripping from her hands.

Ren currently standing in front of the teacher was now reliving that event. Ren was beginning to hyperventilate as her breaths increase at rapid speeds. Despite how many breaths she was taking she still felt like she was suffocating. Suddenly Usagi grabs Ren’s face to get her attention. The hand puppet does gestures to direct Ren into taking deep slow breaths. Soon Ren would be calm again and Usagi would pat her head. “I am sorry sensei, but I am afraid I do not think that is a good idea.” Haru would likely agree after seeing Ren go through a panic attack.

Harupia noticed the girl who had seemed to doze off somewhere at the beginning of the class come to rather abruptly, causing some of the children to either laugh or whisper to each other, though he tried his best to curb such attitudes with a pointed cough. While he was regarded as a nice and helpful teacher he had a reputation of not really tolerating any sort of bullying or unnecessary antics. Speaking of which. he turned to the girl who had leaned against the second puppet of Ren as he said in a raised voice "Ahh, I see you power nap is over! Now if you'd like to join us here since I might have a better idea of what you need to be paying attention to". While the tone was mostly present there was a certain harshness to it. He wanted to give a clear signal that if the girl didn't start paying attention now, there could be trouble.

Speaking of which he had found himself in a predicament pretty fast. On the one hand, it was partially his fault, but on the other hand, he wasn't made aware one of the students in the academy had seemingly a pretty significant problem with some sort of past trauma. He had seen kids who had certain ticks or habits they had which could interfere with learning. Some were shy, he had a few which clung toa certain toy cause they were unsure of themselves or maybe just afraid of being in the academy. Normally his approached was somewaht effective. Carefully ask if they would be ok with not doing something just once, and either coaxing them to do so if they were willing or trying to work a bit out of class if they were hesitant. Most of the time it could be something to work around with.

He never really had a case of a child Hyperventilating at a mere question. He could see some of the kids were getting scared as well as he crouched down before her as he said "Slow Down Ren, slow down" thankfully also helped by the puppet on her hand. Or at least he didn't interrupt it, as she had seemed to calm down due to its actions. As she seemed to steady herself and the rabbit pat her head, he took a small breath before saying "Its ok Ren. I can see your friend is important to you. I was just curious, but you can keep him on your hand if you want" smiling softly at her. This probably would require some looking into...which the fact he was in the middle of a class wouldn't make easy.

He sighed slightly, the only blessing being that apparently quite a number of his students were less verse in ninjutsu, some of them have questions about what was on the board. Rising he said to the class who were lobbing jutsu "ok, I see a lot of you are pretty warmed up, so we can try to move to the next part. I want you to form groups of 3 members, and then take turns trying to hit the clone with at least 2 attacks at the same time. But this time it'll really try dodging, so you better try you best!" he said, the sand clone seemingly sucking up its body to now look thinner, smirking in a challenging manner to the students.

Turning to the kids by the board, he looked at the attended students as he said "Soo, Karasu-chan, if I heard you were slightly at a loss as to what we're doing here. Do you have issues doing the signs needed to do the jutsu, or is this the first time you were asked to train with you chakra in any way? I can see some of you already have an idea of what to do, but could you explain how you're doing it exactly?" he turned to each of the kids were by the board trying to gauge their experience, and just wanting to see how far he would need to explain. and thinking about how to include Ren and not single her out.

Once again Ren felt like she was being the trouble student as she was the one with the most issues. Ren has a past darker than most her age around here in the village. Her first class was on hand seals. Though the class did not end well on her part she did learn the proper finger placement, even if she cannot do it by herself. The teachers asks how they were casting there jutsu and Ren responses by walking in front of him and shyly raise a hand to him. The way she held her hand look like she was trying to tell him to stop. Fortunately Usagi explains what she is trying to ask of him. “As Ren only has one available hand. She would like to request to borrow yours.”

Should he agree and place his right hand on her right hand, she would begin with a simple ninjutsu. Though this it is unusual it is not unheard of for two shinobi to create seals with one hand each to cast a jutsu. “Dog… Boar… Ram.” This would likely be very awkward considering Haru was most definitely faster at making hand seals than she would be. He would need to adjust to her speed for this to work properly. Assuming everything went well she would transform herself into Shiho.

She was beginning to regain her faculties, and was harshly spoken to. It was fair, it didn't scare her or hurt her feelings, she was one of the most emotionally solid people Haru would probably ever meet, her smile was an armor most couldn't penetrate. After she was scolded, she was posed a question.

"Soo, Karasu-chan, if I heard you were slightly at a loss as to what we're doing here. Do you have issues doing the signs needed to do the jutsu, or is this the first time you were asked to train with you chakra in any way?"

"This is my first class, I have a small amount of experience sticking my feet to stuff, but I don't know any jutsus and I missed the instruction on whats happening here, I apologize, I think I'm going through property!" she meant puberty, and she was not at that age at all. She had a dark thing happen to her that she didn't remember, and it was effecting her body in an odd way, making her sleepy quite a lot. No longer really able to follow her diet, as it consisted mostly of super sugars.

She saw ren offer her hand to Haru's to do a series of handseals, and she turned into Shiho. A loud slap was heard, as she slapped her own cheeks in amazement.

"WHOA! REN IS SO SMART! SHE TURNED INTO SUCH A CUTIE!" she said, self indulgently. "Maybe I can do that!"

She spun her hands in a flurry of handseals, mocking the girls movements as she had seen them, her target transformation? The bunny, she would be a life sized version of the puppet adorning Ren's hand.

He divided his attention a bit, to some of the other students which were near the blackboards, while watching the other students who had, as per usual, groped themselves according to who they hang out with after the classes. He did sometimes like to mix it up and selected the teams a bit more randomly but he did have a bit of a case that needed attention here. For the moment it was going well. Some of them were pretty liberal on taking *turns* with their attacks, but so far the clones were doing a good job of being a nuisance. and avoiding their attacks.

What was also important was him managing to get Ren to calm down. And hey apparently got the attention of Shiho... he raised a brow, looking a bit closer at the girl as he said: "mmm...so you have the basics of chakra control down, though it would be beneficial to see you do something more..."

after a moment he turned to see Ren carefully approaching him, and raising her hand with a bit of shyness. He had an idea of what she meant but her hand puppet came in for the save again. This seemed fine, a bit of progress. A chance to show she could trust him. He slowly lowered his hand as he said "Its ok, take your time with this. You dont have to worry about here, your doing fine" trying to reassure her as they slowly went through the needed seals. While doing seals in tandem like this wasn't usual, Harupia had years of experience so he was able to adjust to her moments with relative ease. The Dog, boar, ram...and with a poof of smoke, a mirror image of the sleepy heard student was there.

He stood up with a smile as he said "See, there you go, you did well with that. I'm sure whenever you'd be...ready, you'll be able to master any jutsu you'd need. But I can understand you could need some time, so dont worry. Just try and practice the movements of your fingers ok? With enough time you might not even need your second hand to due these" he said, before another poof of smoke erupted after an outburst from Shiho...or, what stood in front of him, a big copy of the hand puppet on Ren's hand

It looked...quite convincing. A bit of since it was a much larger version of a bigger thing but it worked. With a smile, he said "Hmm...I see you've taken to your lessons well. That's good, you just need to make sure you a bit more rested for classes next time" he said, as he went through a different set of seal, making a small rock jump from under the ground as he said "My goal here was to teach you the basics of hand seals and how to use them for simple projectiles, like the Stone Bullet . If you can pull off the transformation Jutsu I'm sure doing one of the more offensive moves should be easy for you" he nodded before turning to Ren

"As for you if you wish, you could do the practice exercise using the attack you did earlier. It not quite the same put manipulating something via chakra strings as a legitimate means of controlling an attack as any" he said with a nod, turning to one of the other students near hi, who was having difficulty bending his fingers correctly. He did keep a bit of a closer eye on Shiho...trying to examine how she looked in general. She didn't seem to be a lazy student by nature...so perhaps some illness or lack of proper attention caused her to sleep earlier. A bit less of an obvious issue than Ren...but still important to know of.

When both the teacher and Shiho compliments her in her work, all she could do was shyly look at the ground, "Too kind." She knew she had a hindering issue that would likely prevent her from becoming any sort of master. She also tends to use more chakra then is necessary to cast a jutsu, which is not too unusual for a student. Of course turnabout is fair play as Shiho goes to mimic here by transforming into a giant version of her rabbit hand puppet, Usagi speaks up. "Oh my, Shiho is quite talented and she turned into the cutest rabbit."

As the teacher begins addressing the former sleeping student, Ren begins to watch the kids fight the clone. Watching them she saw strengths and flaws of different people. One was far advance than the others and yet decides to take a supportive roll maintaining ninjutsu buffs. Another kid was close to hitting the clone quite a few times, but her attacks seem to lack strength. Another seems to have expended his chakra reserves in his onslaught of attacks.

The teacher gives her permission to join the kids with her puppet jutsu but she shakes her head. She had a different idea as to how she would like to participate. Reaching into the pack she pulls out three pieces of candy with each one a different color. Each candy had a different shinobi tool within them. She gave the supporter a chakra synthesis so that her buffing would affect all ninjutsu not just a specific element. To the one lacking strength she gave her a metabolic stimulant. Finally for the one running on empty she gave an energy drink.

Her transformation didn't last too long, it warped into a gloopy nightmare creature before poofing off, she breathing heavily. Her body was heavy and sluggish feeling, like starting the keto diet. She wiped sweat from her brow, her vision was a bit more blurry than when she had woke up this morning, so that was concerning but she'd just chalk it up to over indulging in chakra usage. She would play it off though, bowing like a true performer as she was complimented by...herself.

The teacher spoke out about how we were all doing fine, and that she was to try more handseals, to attempt a small projectile of some kind. She nodded, and rubber her hands together to warm her fingers up. She would attempt handseals, she tried her best to do them as the teacher had shown, but nothing happened. She put her palm to her head to scratch it in confusion, and an explosion of chakra escaped her palm into her head, forcing her skull down and essentially slamming her head into the floor. She was apparently not very earth reliant, but rather wind. She had essentially just pressure bursted herself almost unconscious. She laid there a moment, hand in the air in roughly the same spot she had it when she was forced to the floor and gave a thumbs up, to show she was alright.

"Did anyone get the name of that kage that hit me?" she joked, head buried in the sand so it came out muffled. Slowly, she planted her hands on the ground and lifted herself up. "Alright, I think I got it..." she said, huffing and sweaty. "I know how to beat these clones with 100% accuracy!" she proclaimed to everyone, taking a stance up between the man making the clones, and the clones themselves, watching as they dodged around all the other kids. She made hand seals again, the same as before. Then she leaped a little bit backwards, palm out to her side as if she was about to rush the clones, but then swung her arm wide and spun around so she was facing the teacher proper, attempting to slam it into him. If you want to beat clones, you go for the source! Fail or not, she'd find herself collapsing to her knees in exhaustion, her chakra pool was not very large.

It did seem the Crysis was averted on one side, though it seemed Ren was slow to accept the praise. Still, for now, he cared more about her knowing she was safe and wouldn't be forced into anything in his presence. He could worry about her mental blocks at some other time. And Shiho did her part quite well, but she did look exhausted...overly so, even for a student performing the transformation jutsu. She did try to play it off as part of her performance... but it was something to look into.

At least it seemed she was focused on trying to master the handseals which gave him time to address the students doing the firing. He did have to raise his voice to reprimand one group who had clearly exhausted their chances for now, but others were doing a lot better. He turned around to see his clone try to flip through the air, but the team managing to compensate for his sudden change in direction and actually score the hits needed. He clapped gently along with the other cheering kids as the clone exploded in a cloud of sand, making some of the students gasp as he said "Well done. Didn't get fooled this time, just what I like to see" After a few second the clone suddenly re-emerged from the sand, poofing up its chest as if it was upset before a wide grin spread on its face as he bowed to the team that hit him in respect.
On the side, he saw ren, who decided to not join the target practice, approach some of the students. Two of them, the one which supported her teammates with her jutsu looked shyly at Ren from behind her glasses, the boy next to her looked suspiciously at the offering. The final one which seemed to by mostly exhausted simply approached Ren saying "Ohey you snuck in some candy, cool!" gladly taking the offerd treat and plopping it in her mouth...before her eyes widened in surprise, her body shaking a bit "W-whoa...I feel ...I feel great! Like I can volley the clone al over again, thanks!" smiling brightly and bouncing from one leg to another. Haru watched as the other two students excepted thier treats to and seemingly felt empowered by them. It seemed the blue-haired puppeteer already knew how to get into people's good graces. Everything seemed to be developing well.

And just then he heard the body slamming down. Turning around and dashing towards Shiho to ensure she was fine, the thumbs up only doing so much to calm his nerves "Shiho, are you sure your ok? That blast seemed to have some oomph behind it" trying to help the girl pull her head out of the ground. It would be an amusing visual if he wasn't worried. But she did seem...fine. Maybe a bit shaky but rearing for action apparently, as she moved between him and his sand clone, the semi-humanoid shape doing a shimmy as it to taunt her. He saw her produce the blast of air with relative ease...before she turned around and flung it at her. He blinked, a mist of sand erupting seemingly from either mid-air or from under his shirt as it deflected the blast, scratching his head a bit "Erm...that's one way to do it. Though keep in mind, usually you need to knock out the enemy completely in order for any clones or any other creature they summon to dissipate. This can be a valid strategy, but most of the time trying to eliminate the clone is probably faster" smiling as the sand Shield lowered itself and he approached her, kneeling before her and gently patting her shoulder "That was a fine blast for sure... Though I hope I dont need to remind you attacking an unprepared ally is not something you should do in this class ever again, right?" his tone rising into a more menacing octave. He could take the hit, an unprepared student could take it a lot worse...as Shiho herself demonstrated well a few minutes before.

While the one girl eagerly rips open the candy and pops it into her mouth with no hesitation, the other two were more cautious. The boy seems to inspect the wrapper, before getting to the sweet treat inside. He notices that each piece of candy had a wrapper of a different color and thought it might be something to distinguish flavors. The wrapper was not made of plastic, but paper. The paper had a unique feel like that used in exploding notes; such paper is very receptacle to chakra. He notices a logo he does not recognize which looks like a rabbit and a moon. Ren may be new to the Journeymen but she was one of them never or less. All of a Journeyman's weapons have a signature appearance to them be it a color, glow or insignia and this was hers. Underneath the logo is was he assumes to be the name of the flavor ‘Watermelon Wrath’

He comments out loud about not recognizing the brand and asks where she got it. “I craft.” Ren replies, but the boy does not seem to understand. As if to respond to his confused look Usagi speaks up. “Ren makes the candy herself.” Both the boy’s and girl’s eyes widen in amazement. They could not believe this little girl would be able to make such treats. “Own shop.” To two kids were even more impressed with Ren then they were a minute ago. This student was already running her own business. “If you enjoy, please visit the ‘Tsuki no Usagi’ for more. We will appreciate your patronage.” The two kids give a nod saying they would do just that before joining back into the fight. Ren thinks she should thank the teacher sometime after class as he provided her an excellent eviroment to introduce her craft to new potential costumers.

Harupia smiled slightly as the ren presented the other students with her, apparently self-crafted, treats. Such a mysterious one... most kids her age didn't really think about work, let alone having a shop. He almost assumed her claiming to own the shop was short-hand for her family-owned it, but he had ceartin...supicions about her family status. Still, at least the whole situation did seem to help the other kids treat her more warmly. Small steps.

What was more worrying was the status of Karasu. While she tried to put up a tough facade she ended up nearly falling again from her display. She was conscious but dead exhausted. Though she at least seemed to last long enough. Most of the other students were somewhat winded themselves. Some managed to strike the target, others would need to try next time. He did offer words of encouragement and advice at the end, asking the students to be sure to practice the things they have learned and been ready for more intense target practice next time. He had led the way as they all walked out of the class. carrying Karasu in his arms as he went tot he doctors office. He hoped it was simply exhaustion but he neede to be sure.

(Class Ended, Haku Ren Met pass conditions, Karasu Shiho Sadly did not)
