Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

After slaying the Sand Pirate known as Yotta a few days earlier, the descendant of Byakko was once again out in the hellhole district, known as the Red Light District, of the village trying to clean up the streets after being told to seek the guidance of the ANBU a while ago from Sousuke. It wasn’t the fact that he wasn’t capable of cleaning the streets himself of crime, but it was a safety measure that the Kazekage had indirectly put into place to ensure the well-being of everyone involved. However, measures sometimes had to be tweaked to one’s liking to get a result that a user sought which is exactly why he had avoided the direct order of Sousuke, a risky tactic indeed.

Unlike Yotta and her band of misfits from days earlier, he had two targets to focus on today which were Yuku Oji and Osami Nasu. The male of the entries was a short individual that had shaggy blonde hair and seemed to always wear formal attire which would make things much easier for anyone to spot him if he was roaming in the open. However being a shinobi of the village, he knew the ins and outs of the entire village and could prove difficult to capture especially if his rumored sloppiness with ninjutsu and taijutsu had drastically improved since he had been accused of treason by stealing military documents and went into hiding in the shithole of the village. The other entry was a skilled sharpshooter who had become known by her alias of Deadeye and was a mercenary that apparently was hired for assassinations; fortunately, there had been no news of any assassination attempts on Sousuke or any of the other high-ranked shinobi in the village. It was quite possible that she was also hiding, but she was much wiser than Oji was with appearance. One could see from the Bingo Entry that she dressed casually to blend into the crowds and seemed to take the high point to get her shot on her targets. But sometimes these entries exaggerated the truth a little so not everything could be assumed the divine law on these documents.

In any case, the descendant had assumed that Oji possibly hired Nasu to assist him with transporting these stolen documents. There were no real grounds for why he felt this way about these two, but the mere fact that neither of them had been found yet and they both were well-known from their descriptions in the Bingo Book left him curious to say the least. Besides, it wasn’t out of the question that two wanted criminals could team up with one another for the common goal of survival and to accomplish their tasks. However, he didn’t want to make too many assumptions since he could still be completely off and it would be quite embarrassing if he came back with one or even both evading his grasp. Failure was not an option here especially with his loved ones and friends that decided to stray from the righteous path into these dark, twisted, and tormented paths of Hell known as the Red Light District.

So why exactly did Byakko Kyuji, a well-known figure in his clan and the village, decide to enter Hell once more to try to purify its streets? The answer was quite simple: somebody had to do it and waiting around would only complicate matters in this part of the village. After all, evil resided here from the brothels that tainted young, innocent girls to the market for child slaves and exotic drugs like stardust that tainted his former apprentice and send her life into a downward spiral. In other words, there was still unfinished business for him down here and he needed to see everything that was evil in this Hell to burn up in smoke. That didn’t necessarily mean true arson to all the buildings that the patrons ran down here, but it did mean eliminating the root of the problem which easily stemmed from the filth that roamed the streets in one sense. Sure, there was a lot more that would need to be handled to turn this area of the village around, but eliminating some of the trash was a good starting point. Besides, he would need a lot more help than just himself to make this Red Light District from an eternal Hell to paradise known as Heaven on Earth.

The once blue sky above him would vanish as the sun had decided it was time to go to bed for now. Due to this the blood-red hue from the lights in the street would light up as he continued through the streets sticking out like a sore thumb due to his formal attire and his feline-like traits including his ears and eyes. It was becoming a perfect time for something to begin especially with the shadows of the night being able to hide an assassin within them.

It was during this time that gunshots could be heard and screams would fill the streets ahead of him as an older gentleman collapsed onto the ground with his life energy escaping from his wounds. While his wounds were bad, he was not going to die from his wounds if he got medical attention in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately for him, he would not be able to even ask for help as a figure jumped from above and laid her gun beside his head before pulling the trigger in front of small crowd that decided to stick around. The looks of their faces were all that Kyuji had to see to known that this had to be one of his targets tonight since the shots were almost flawless and the execution was brutal. But instead of running over to the attacker and stopping them there, he sent a Crystal Eye of his ahead of him to follow the savage to see if it was truly who he thought it was. After all, it was better to be safe than sorry when it came to elimination.

The Eye would follow closely behind the figure as it went back into the shadows above. It appeared that the deed had been done and the killer was going back to where they felt most comfortable. But, it still didn’t make complete sense for a sharpshooter like Nasu to do an execution style killing in front of the public as she would’ve been capable of easily murdering someone from several feet away. That fact didn’t add up, but could it be Oji since his file said he was sloppy with ninjutsu and taijutsu. There was nothing about firearms in his file, but that didn’t mean that he didn’t have some experience with them. However, the murder was too clean to be him unless he managed to grow his skills over the months of hiding from the authorities.

Fortunately, good news would come to Kyuji before too long as there were two figures on the top of a roof not too far from the killing and they seemed to be conversing. Of course, he couldn’t hear what they were saying due to the limitations of the Crystal Eye but any news was good since he had no true leads. With the news, he would climb the closest building by providing chakra into his feet to scale the building easily and jump from rooftop to rooftop until he was within range for an attack. However, he would wait to strike until he was sure that it was one or both of his targets with his trusty "Divine Judgement" in his left hand and chakra coming from his amputated limb on his right side to hold onto his Blade of Celestial Judgement. Back for now, it was the waiting game.

After quite some time, the two figures had begun to move on the rooftop nearby and this was it. The nearby light would reflect off of them and their appearances gave them off especially with the silver handgun in Nasu’s hand and Oji’s formal clothing. With a careful positioning and a whistle to get one of them closer, he would pull the trigger at the closest one being Oji and send the young man to his back as he clutched his knee in pain from the bullet. Unfortunately, Nasu would hide as soon as she heard the gunshot and conceal her presence so Kyuji couldn’t find her easily. In any case, one of the targets was down and the descendant would quickly jump to the rooftop where he was lying to check on him.

Fortunately, the boy was still alive which is what he was hoping for and would easily recover from an injury of this caliber if he wrapped his knee and went to the Hospital immediately; but we all know a criminal wasn’t going to get help and risk his freedom for help. Immediately after checking on Oji though, his gun would be pointed at the man’s head and he would question him on why he stole documents of utmost importance to the village and would get no response back but a smirk which only angered him. The gun would get closer to the temple of the man as he kept re-asking the question and getting more and more pissed off each time with the response from Oji. At one point, Kyuji would grow tired of the man’s attitude and he would whip him with the gun knocking out some teeth, blood and leaving a mark on the man’s cheek and bark at him for an answer.

But nothing would change until a bullet would come near Kyuji and barely miss him. It was probably a warning shot to try to break him from questioning Oji, but he would only shrug as he called out Nasu who surprisingly appeared with her signature gun and a pistol in her hands. She was going to shoot him here and now and leave him to die unless he could sway her opinion on murdering him which is exactly what was attempted. See, he would tell her to come over here as he had a proposal for her which was to execute Oji and he would let her go. Of course, Oji was strongly against it as he begged and pleaded for Nasu to not murder him here and now and one could tell that Nasu knew what had to be done as she aimed the gun at Oji’s head.

Two gunshots would be heard moments later and the descendant of Byakko would smile as the look of betrayal was clear on the woman’s face as he pulled the trigger the first time at point-blank range of her temple sending her down followed by one single shot at Oji’s head as his head fell backwards. The blood that spilled from both criminals would stain the rooftop of the building as Kyuji walked away sheathing his sword and gun in their respective positions on his person.

This “lunatic” would then whistle as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop away from the scene and headed towards the old man that gave him money for his mission completions. Of course, it was getting late so it might have to wait until tomorrow but he would get his money sooner or later. The more important part of this night was another two criminals were off the streets and would not be screwing his village or the lives of people. As for the man that was brutally executed earlier this night, he would allow the ANBU to handle that poor soul’s body and let them question the bystanders on the true appearance of the individual that murdered him. If one was to ask the descendant of Byakko however, he would easily shrug at them and tell them that he had no idea but had an assumption that it was either Yuku Oji and/or Osami Nasu that committed the crime. But he truly was just picking the culprit from his eventful night of execution himself.

One thing was for sure in the end, there would be more of these chaotic beings lurking in this Hell in Sand and they would need to be exterminated swiftly with no remorse since they didn’t give a damn about the people that they affected. True, Kyuji was the Medical Chief of the village but sometimes matters just had to be taken into his own hand. Could anyone blame him though? He mostly certainly didn’t think so!
