Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

On an overgrown outskirt of the Academy, a delinquent stands before a crumbled artifact.

The once dazzling blackened bronze, shrouding the ordinady metal is cool and dark mud. In clean piece’s it’s been separated, with the dishes long having lost their wax.

Under the boy’s arm is a shoebox, with WAX scrawled cruedly in slanted characters on the boot of it, and being twirled slowly and boredly in the other is a cheap, scratched pink lighter.

As for how he looks, he seems to be a little on the fit side, rather than being too scrawny. His sharp, but identifiably young face makes him a lot harder-looking than many others his age.

This is Norisuke Kujo. A very, very new student, who seems less happy to be here than any other newcomer before.

The forest was where the red-haired man and his large direwolf felt more at-home. The feeling of the concrete beneath their feet felt unsettling compared to the damp and crunchy underbrush of the forest and of nature. Kyo took a few breaths out after their hunt; having captured and killed a rabbit for feeding. All that was left for the hunt was for Kyo to skin and clean the animal so he could safely eat it while giving a portion to the wolf as a snack. Dakota, as Kyo had started to name her upon returning to the shinobi village, stood at a massive 6'2" while on all-fours as Kyo reached up to pet the massive animal on the top of the head. After the good kill, Kyo slung the kill over his shoulder and walked with Dakota through the forest until the man came across a child standing before a ruined metal object.

Clearing his throat, he muttered something under his breath and placed his shinobi headband over his forehead, as if to cover something upon his forehead, and made his approach towards the young lad. Kyo readjusted the headband to fit a bit better before shouting out in an annoyed voice. "Oi! Whatcha doin?" Kyo asked from the distance he stood, a plume of white vapor pouring out of his mouth as he shouted out towards the child. He stood at 5'7" with fiery red hair. He wore strange attire appearing to be some kind of leather armor with white fur going across his left shoulder. This was the pelt of his 'wolf-mother', a pelt of pure white with a shimmering coat. Part of his torso was exposed showing some definition going across his chest and abdomen as well as numerous scars. He had a notable scar running diagonally down his left eye. A pouch rested upon his left side and a gourd hanging off of his right.

The monstrous creature beside him, however, had pure white fur with red-lines drawn into the fur. The red lines were drawn in the style of kabuki to accent power and grace with the animal. A strange burning disc could be seen hovering over the creature's back, rotating as it bobbed up and down. Even Kyo has no idea what this burning disc was as it wasn't there before they were brought back to the village by other Cloud shinobi. It seemed to move to Dakota's side whenever Kyo mounted the wolf for faster travel.

The two continued to move towards the boy holding a strange box under his arm, glancing down at the ruined object. The duo kept their paces from the child and stopped. Kyo placed the carcass upon the wolf and reached into his pouch to pull out a pack of cigarettes as well as a chrome lighter. He removed a single smoke and placed it in his mouth before flicking the metallic lighter and igniting the tip of it, taking a deep drag before letting out a thick plume of noxious gas. He turned to look towards the ruined metal object for a moment before taking another puff of the cigarette before turning to look towards the boy. "What the hell are we looking at?"

“...ffhh.” A sort of dismissive scoff, pushing his dark hair behind his ears. Playing it off biz casual. There was nothing wrong about this situation...

...except how dangerous the two were.

In the back of his head, he’d have to be able to draw out his gauntlets...but the way the guy can just walk up, badass dire wolf at his side, corona of flame on its back.

And yet, the chickenhead in front of him is pretty passive. There’s no fighting intent inside him. His heels dig around in the mud. His throat has gotten a little hot, and Norisuke chews his lip. What have I got to say about him! Think of something disarming! Get him to let down the shell...Fuck, he’s started smoking. He’s gotta be a teacher! But why approach like this?!

Averting his eyes from the wolf’s, he comes clean.

“You’re some teacher pretending to...be dumb.”

He points an accusatory finger, but doesnt jab his arm out. A feeble step back toward the warped chandelier is made.

“You’re trying to reverse my psychology...uh, pretend to be a freak so you can get me to not wanna come here. Well...uh, you...”

The scenario is too bizarre. The once mouthy Norisuke is at a loss!

A soft, tired sigh left Naomi's lips as she finished stocking a Taijutsu classroom (dojo?) with kunai. Thankfully, her superiors gave her this particular assignment when there wasn't a class running around with the dangerous little slabs of metal, so her work hadn't been any harder than needed. Still, though, the work hadn't been without its sidetrack: a Taijutsu classroom often holding knife-throwing children (the really young ones) tended to have a few lost-now-found items and even more broken things that were purposely hidden. There'd been such a relatively large amount of items that she'd taken a decent two minutes to decide whether she'd bother with cleaning house or leaving it be.

Of course, she'd ended up cleaning it. She would never have been able to stop thinking about it because her powerful inner clean-freak would never have let her go. So she'd taken a hearty extra twenty minutes and found all of the items and cataloged them, and of course, she had made sure to utilize the various shadows in the darkened room to make things go faster. And while the dojo-classroom was clean and primed for another round of annoying children to abuse it tomorrow, she'd burned out her daily helping of good work ethic. So she told her superiors that she was finished for the day and would report early the next day to do more good deeds.

Now, anyone that knew Naomi and her personality would know that she wasn't one to work hard and do 'good deeds'. Even her instructors-turned-bosses were surprised when she'd returned after graduating and requested work in the Academy. She'd never worked too hard on her basic studies or even tried to fit in with the student body, all out of sheer boredom and a lack of real motivation. But it took only about a week for everyone to understand why she'd returned. While many Students-turned-Genin did missions in teams, she didn't; after all, she wasn't in any sort of rush to become a Chuunin. Instead, her days consisted of cleaning and stocking the Academy while she learned more advanced Jutsu from her various previous instructors and the few readable (to her) books in the school. These sorts of Jutsu were usually taught on missions by Chuunin and Jounin team leaders (or captains? She never took the time to remember the exact titles).

While she embraced the chance to learn more complex and interesting things about Chakra and Jutsu, she'd only been slightly discouraged by the amount of work she ended up gaining, which she hadn't expected. This particular day was one of the easier days, given after a particularly difficult one. Or ones, in this case, as the last two had been rather strenuous. She simply wanted to go home, and would probably stop on the way to pick up dinner. And she'd been in the process of doing so, obvious by the fact that the Academy doors slammed shut behind her. A breeze ruffled the folds of her heavy cloak, though it didn't pierce the material: she'd been careful to make sure it stayed closed so that it constantly shielded her frame from the chill. Her hood was down, so the breeze that'd touched her cloak did the same to the revealed bottom half of her face, which caused her to turn her head instinctively.

She saw the shadows of two people after she did so, out near the outskirts of the Academy. Usually, two people so close meant that someone was being taught something, so she naturally started towards them to get into earshot of the lesson. They weren't very far, so it took her less than a minute to get close enough, but by that time, she knew something was off. Some hard object on the ground had the oddest shadow, one of twisted and broken parts.

"You're some teacher pretending to...be dumb." The voice was of a young boy's, probably an academy student. Naomi knew he hadn't meant her (neither one of the people seemed to have turned in her direction) because he pointed at the other figure, who stood next to a larger quadruped. So, the other must have looked old enough to be an instructor. Grand.

"You're trying to reverse my psychology...uh, pretend to be a freak so you can get me to not wanna come here. Well...uh, you..." At this, she cleared her throat. She didn't know what he meant entirely, but she did know that neither of them was allowed to leave until this matter was sorted.

If either were to turn to the sound, they'd find a rather frowny Naomi. Taller than both at over six feet and sheathed to her ankles in a thick, dark cloak, she hoped to cut an intimidating figure. She couldn't tell any small, visual reactions they had on account of her lack of sight, the fact only slightly hidden by a dark strip of cloth wrapped around the top half of her face. Which was mostly covered by the bangs of her short but thick and fluffy hair.

"I'm not cleaning this thing up, whatever it is. I don't care who cleans it and who receives the consequences or benefits of this situation, but neither of you is leaving until it's up." Her voice was firm and almost monotone, and obviously displeased, if the frown on her pale face wasn't enough to give the impression of her being such. "And I don't want to hear anything about my not having the authority to tell you what to do. I work for the Academy, this is on Academy grounds, so unless you have a recognized position here, I do have the working authority on this ground's healthy and safety." I think.

The Chronicles of Kyo-MoonRelated Information
Kyo's mouth opened up slightly as the cigarette tilted downwards causing the chimney of white smoke to stream up closer to his face, drawing some of the smoke up his nose. The red-headed man was in utter disbelief at the words spoken to him by this child. Kyo blinked a couple times as his brain started to spool up to try to process the words that spilled out of the child's mouth. "Well, I do teach but not at this building. And what are you doing talking to someone you don't know like that, hm?" Kyo said out-loud in a clearly annoyed voice. [lb2][/lb2]
Kyo's dialogue with his instincts said:
Be patient, Kyo. Your training is telling you to hold your temper. It's only a child.[lb][/lb]
Children are tasty! You've eaten dead baby cows before! They taste delicious, even without cooking![lb][/lb]
Silence, instinct. You aren't helping. I have to learn to integrate into popular society otherwise I won't find a mate[lb][/lb]
Not important! Eat the stupid child!
Kyo took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment before moving his hand up to his lips, grabbing the cigarette in between two of his fingers and took a long drag from the cigarette. Kyo was about to say something profound until the child fumbled over his words, trying to say something smart about reverse psychology. Kyo lowered the cigarette down to his side and walked over to the child and leaned in to a rather uncomfortable distance to him. Kyo started to sniff the child for a moment. [lb2][/lb2]

"You smell like the city but you sure don't act like you were raised here. I guess all of the concrete and stone really does make people stupid," he said before taking yet another puff of his cigarette and turned to look back towards the rusted out object that was laying upon the ground. It had a white and green layer of oxidation building up upon it denoting that it was there for a little bit of time. Kyo didn't understand how rusting worked, however, so he just looked it over. Judging by it's bad condition and the overgrowth upon it, it was easy to come to the conclusion that it was there for a while. "Better yet, who the hell are..." Kyo said as his voice was drowned out by the sound of a feminine voice. [lb2][/lb2]

Song playing in Kyo's head
[lb2][/lb2]
The contents of her words were dismissed as his eyes met... hers? His eyes scanned over the female's face for a brief moment before his eyes got stuck looking at her chest, causing his mouth to open wide leading to the cigarette dropping onto the ground. His heart started to beat rapidly, hard enough for him to be able to hear it, himself. A big blush came over his face as his eyes scanned the rest of her only for his eyes to go back to her chest. The massive direwolf reacted to the sound of Kyo's heartbeat and looked at him for a moment before casually walking away with a low grumbling coming from deep within the wolf's throat. It walked passed the child who thought Kyo was an idiot, passed the chandelier, and over to a lonely spot on the pad outside of the academy. It let out a wide yawn and laid down upon it's paws, keeping her eyes on Kyo. "you..." he finally finished. [lb2][/lb2]

Kyo cleared his throat and stood up straight. He was told that women, human women, loved confidence and a man that looked confident. However, Kyo didn't know the girl was blind so he was doing all of this for naught. He moved away from Norisuke and towards Naomi, stopping within 10 paces of the woman. His heart raced faster and harder than it was when she was at a distance. From here, she looked even more beautiful. Do what you practiced with courting. Do what you practiced! he thought to himself before he blurted out. "M-my-my name is R-Ryong K-K-Kyo-Moon. It's nice to m-m-m-meet you!" he said in a nervous wreck with his voice cracking and head spinning.
