The Diablo Came Knocking [Private]

Yuuto arrived at Uchiha Takeshi's home. He was wearing a black and purple vested tuxedo. His bowtie was a deep purple same as the vest. Yuuto held a large steel silver briefcase other than that he looked normal, three eyes and all open. He held a jar in his hand that had a bunch of red and black tadpoles. It was late at night and Yuuto hadn't been seen in three days so the Anbu Captain and his lover would be undoubtedly surprised to see him.

It was common knowledge amongst Anbu that three days ago an Anbu Captain named Yaken Tanizawa was Killed in Action. Tanizawa was a skilled Water Ninjutsu Specialist his heart was ripped from his chest by a steel clawed Inuzuka that was doing battle with an unidentified Human Puppet. Neither participants have been found yet.

Good evening Yuki, how goes it? Is Takeshi home, I need to speak to him.

Takeshi

Good evening Takeshi, how are you? Do you have a moment, I'd like to discuss your talents with your corrupted chakra, [He'd pause] come now, you didn't think using a corpse as a messenger would go unnoticed by one who was once apart of your ranks.

Things were about to get interesting tonight, even if this couple didn't know it yet.

 

[Uchiha Takeshi]

Takeshi heard the knock at the door as he stood up from the small living room they had, it was a cramped apartment, normally one of them would be out or vice versa. So, they saw no point in a larger house, nothing but a simple kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom and hallway. It was normally a place they held as their own and welcomed no-one else in. As he stood up from the sofa that they were sharing he allowed himself to stretch before heading down the hall way to the door. Letting his hand grip the handle and slowly turn it his eyes would widen at the man that stood before him.

“Good evening Takeshi, how are you? Do you have a moment, I'd like to discuss your talents with your corrupted chakra, [He'd pause] come now, you didn't think using a corpse as a messenger would go unnoticed by one who was once apart of your ranks.”

He felt a knot in his chest quickly tighten as he listened to the words his Sennin, his lips opened slightly as if he was going to deny it but quickly realized it was part that point at least. Opening the door fully he stood there in his chill out clothes as he would refer to them. A simple jogging bottoms and a tank top, his green hair a mess as always as he looked at the Sennin. It was clear he had caught Takeshi off guard.

“I guess, I should have covered them from the world in ANBU Gear, foolish and rookie mistake on my end that one”

Pondering if he should stand and fight, or if there was something else that Yuuto wanted. The man would have already attacked if he was here to do so, instead he wanted something that much was obvious. As Takeshi looked the man up and down making a quick note of him.

“I am doing well Yuuto, just enjoying the evening off with Yuki. It’s a nice surprise for you to visit without work on your lips. Please come in and find yourself a seat I will let Yuki know we have a guess. After all we are great hosts, and she knows of my talents.”

His last part less than a whisper as he stood aside to let the Sennin in to their home, as he turned his head down the corridor to where the living room was.

“Yuki we have a guest, please see if he wants a tea, coffee. Something stronger I know that’s what I will need”

 

[Haku Yuki]

Yuki heard the door knocking in the distance of the apartment, she was busy preparing something to eat so shouted for Takeshi to get the door. He obliged, a familiar voice met them on the other side of the threshold, it was Yuuto. She overheard the exchanged between the two males and felt her heart drop, someone other than her had learnt Takeshi’s secret, she poked her head around the doorway whipping her hands clean.

“Yuki we have a guest, please see if he wants a tea, coffee. Something stronger I know that’s what I will need” He spoke was he past walking into the small lounge area, followed behind closely by Yuuto. She retreated back into the kitchen grabbing an already boiled tea pot and a cup, she also grabbed the bottle of Sake she kept for emergencies, this was one of those instances, she poured Takeshi a glass before having a large swig herself, the liquid burned all the way down.

“Master Yuuto, if you had told us I would have had the place more presentable.” She spoke as she walked through the doorway with a tray holding the tea and the sake. She places the tray on the small table in the centre of the room and knelt next to it, “Tea or Sake, I am sure we have some coffee somewhere if you’d prefer that”

 

[Enatsu]

Takeshi was shook, he looked slack jawed for a moment unable to rebuttal against his commander. The green haired Anbu Captain stated he should have covered his tracks better, this much was true. However Yuuto planned to turn this into an advantage for him.He invited Yuuto in and had Yuki bring them tea, coffee, and the hard stuff.

"Master Yuuto? You're not my servants, you're my colleagues and allies. But no thank you on the beverage I'm alright." Yuuto would say, politely waving his hand. He didn't want anything, to be honest he didn't trust that they wouldn't poison his beverage. They had gone missing before to save their family, would they kill to keep the necromancer's secret?

He would see Takeshi was walking him down a corridor and Yuuto would say, "Hey Takeshi, let's cut this tension in the air now. I didn't come to kill you, or turn you in. I'm not sure how Umashi would feel about your skills, but if it ever came up. The Main Branch Sennin is also a Necromancer, a Dark Sage even if she considers herself to be a priest of sorts. So now you have leverage to argue yourself immunity. I give you this information in a show if good faith. If you'd like another, I know that Haku Yuki is a Jinchuuriki and you're the first person I've told this to." Yuuto would smirk and chuckle, they had to get some humor out of that one. He hoped it lightened the mood. Once things settled Yuuto would get back to business. He would pull out simple scrolled contracts for the couple. These went over details that explained that anything related to Operation T.a.d.p.o.l.e.

"I came here to get you both for an assignment. I need you to sign these of course before I can disclose information regarding Project T.A.D.P.O.L.E." Yuuto would quiet down once more awaiting for their co-operation.

 

[Uchiha Takeshi]

Takeshi glanced to the Sennin listening to him speak in the corridor as Yuki got drinks, feeling himself caught up in the words of the main branch sennin, followed by Yuki he allowed a small chuckle to come to his lips as he walked through to the living room grabbing a seat. On the way past Yuki he grabbed the drink she had poured downing it straight away without blinking.

“Just keep pouring I feel like this conversation could take an interesting turn”

As he grabbed a seat, he allowed himself to drag an ash tray close, grabbing smoke from his pocket he took a single one form the packet and used a lighter on the table to light up. Taking took in a breath before breathing the smoke out, sliding the packet across the table to Yuuto offering him one as he had done before. Though these were not as special as the one he had smoked together with Yuuto.

“Interesting, at least I never pretend that I haven’t got this sinister ability, but I control it and it has helped the village. I appreciate the honesty Yuuto, always have with you. It’s what makes you in my eyes closest thing to a friend I have got in this village”

Speaking the words, he allowed a few seconds to pass by as he took another drag from the smoke, looking Yuuto in the eyes from the seat he was in, seeing if he would accept the offer of a smoke, or a seat he pondered for a few seconds.

“You should try the sake its honestly great, and don’t worry we will not kill you that way, its not my style.”

Pondering the offer he looked at the scroll for a few seconds, he pondered the document, he could turn this away right now. But something deep inside of him wanted him to support Yuuto, he was a sennin, a friend and he needed help. Takeshi allowed his hand to come forward as he scribed his signature onto the scroll.

“Count me in, I am always happy to help when it is needed. Yuki you in as well?”

 

[Haku Yuki]

Yuki breathed an almost audible sigh of relief as Yuuto made it clear he wasn’t a threat to Takeshi, or herself. She sat quietly watching Takeshi down his glass as she poured him another from the bottle, it was true that she had told Yuuto her secret and he hadn’t acted in haste, however, hers wasn’t something that she had to act on it was involuntary. The Haku was surprised to learn that Takeshi wasn’t the only Dark Sage in the village that there was one the resided in the seat of the Sennin of Main Branch.

“I apologise Yuuto, a force of habit.” She spoke smiling.

As Yuuto continued to speak Yuki listened intently was to what he was asking them to do. Project Tadpole seemed like an odd name for something, she wasn’t entirely comfortable with agreeing to be part of something that she had no idea what she was agreeing to. She poured her own glass of sake even though the tension of the situation was broken she still wasn’t entirely at ease.

“So let me get this straight, you are wanting me to agree to be part of something that you won’t tell me what it is unless I agree to do it first.” She let a stagnant pause hang in the air before rolling her eyes hearing Takeshi agree to it whole heartedly. “I suppose you haven’t told anyone else of my secret so I do owe you that. Fine, just tell me where to sign”

"Turn a Dumb Puppet Obsessor Living Experiment, or T.A.D.P.O.L.E is an operation I'm in the process of doing to turn a 'Human Puppet' back into a Living being. Now Im on the cusp of cracking a way to create a stable body, for this Pinocchio. I have been absent the past three days cutting off communications , except to Umashi, and been working on this theory.

Now due to the subjects existence as a Bio-Unit... um I should probably explain what a human puppet is. They are people who undergo a Forbidden Art called the Art of Hito... okay thats unimportant. The short version is, all of his biological data and chakra coils/network have been condensed into an apparatus that acts as the "Heart". The Human Puppet exists through the essence of chakra. They live as one with it. They lack any other function than existence which is truly terrible when you cant eat, sleep, taste, even have sex.

So in order to heal this dark techniques missing portions while reforming the natural body, I needed to introduce a foreign deterrent, which led me to Senjutsu something that my Toad Contract excels at. Senjutsu is a natural chakra that overtakes the users body to enhance it with the power of well... life. However improper control can lead to the user becoming a living stone or worse. Then there is the issue of needing a body that can handle dark power since the "Heart" is contaminated forever.

Now I have tried Senjutsu on dead cells and it works, but it won't revive a corpse alone. So here in this jar (the jar he was carrying) are a group of tadpoles that's sole purpose is to grow. I'm going to meld them together by manipulating their DNA with my Kinjutsu. They are the lowest of low bred in the frog I race I was told. They have so little potential for chakra that they either die or become drones. Regardless we are not only going to fill them, we are going to overcharge them with the most permanent form chakra network rearranging and curse seal them. Well to be more accurate you will curse seal them at once Takeshi. If you look with your Mangekyou Sharingan you can see that the Frogs have tiny strands of skin cells sticking together and molding. I've already begun making them one organism. Once you curse seal it, I can begin applying this to Hikuidori's heart.

While I'm doing this Yuki, I need you to go get, the corpse of Yaken Tanizawa. His family has already agreed to this. Their will simply wished for their son to be a hero. They shall know that he was. However I did this on the fly so the medical staff might not be aware. Try not to get caught up with anyone who would stop you. Check in, as normal as Masaru Yuuto's ACIT.... oh Anbu Captain in Training.

Make no mistake This is not a bribe. I've seen you in action and while Takeshi may be the face of your transgression for going missing, you were his accomplice. You are his right hand therefore you are his reason for surviving and half the reason he made it. As he is yours. In my eyes you deserve equal and with the death of Tanizawa the Lion Division will need a new Captain one who can handle and match the severity of field situations. I believe you are deserving of this position Haku Yuki and I wish to see you grow into an independent powerful force. But you aren't restricted to head the Lion Division, if you want you can join the Goat Division as their Captain or as The Second Captain of the Serpent division with Takeshi. The choice is yours honestly. Now back to business, when you get back from the morgue drop the corpse off at my Nightclub Hoshi will be there to collect it.

Now Takeshi, for you I want you to become the Captain of the Serpent Division the Elite Assassins and tactical espionage however you still need much more training you both do and you both will receive it from me as your sensei if you allow it." Yuuto finished his long winded speech and awaited their responses to his triade. He politely refused the cigarettes he disliked them, but he didn't like drinking on the job. He remenbered thatwhen he got too drunk he sometimes resorted to drunken fist style still. No one neededa drunken puppeteer, trust.

 

[Haku Yuki]

The female listened to his words of her Sennin explaining what exactly operation Tadpole was, he was going to try and reverse the effects of a powerful Kinjutsu by using the cells of frogs. His theory was fascinating and while the logic behind it seemed sound it would be completely different put into practice. Yuki nodded as she listened showing her understanding, he explained Takeshi’s part to play in the operation and then moved on to her own.

When the next part was explained to her she looked at him blankly, she wasn’t sure that she understood what he was saying to her. The part about collecting the body seems simple enough, she was more than capable of moving unseen if and when it was needed. It was the part after that she had trouble processing, he was going to be making her a Captain, of her own division. He swiftly changed the subject back to Takeshi offering him his own new role, Head of the Serpent Division. The swift Assassins of the Leaf Village, he then made another offer that flummoxed her, he offered to train them both taking them under his wing and personally see to their development.

“You want me to be Captain? Of my own division?” She questioned him just to make sure that what he was stating was correct. She shook her head realising that responding to his question with another one was stupid. She thought about the divisions that he offered her to command, on one hand, was Lion, the hardy Guardians of the Leaf those sentinels that stand to watch protecting to people from external threat. On the others was Goat, the secret and silent Research squad who’s duties range from training and recruitment to more seedy aspects of research into new ways to armour the ANBU. “While I appreciate the offer to command Lion, I think I’d take Goat. Having spent my time training the new recruits I think I have found my calling. Besides if through research I can find away to keep my demon under control it would be enough for me.” She paused, taking another mouthful of sake, she was going to need it to calm herself after that. “In regards to your offer of tutorage I accept. I can’t think of anyone better to call Sensei”

 

[Uchiha Takeshi]

Takeshi sat in his chair, still taking in on the pleasures of having a smoke as he listened to the story that was being told to him. Pondering each word closely as he listened to Yuuto speaking to him. The first part of the address was interesting almost tantalising, without realizing his darker side had come up and reared its ugly head at the sound of an Human puppet he licked his lips. He wasn’t trying to it was just an automatic reply when he found some piece of information that took his focus. Allowing his hand to reach out towards the jar, it was in a split second his eyes changed to that of the Mangekyou Sharingan as he glanced towards the Jar.

“Interesting very interesting at least, how you managed to do that is something you will have to share with me at some time”

As he looked towards the Jar he allowed his free hand to come out waiting to receive the jar that was in front of him. Peaking his head up at the offer that he had given Yuki as well, it seemed that time was changing for her as well. She was quick to reply as he stubbed the end of the smoke out in the ash tray he allowed a few seconds before he slumped back into the chair his hand still outstretched as he waited for the Jar.

“I can easily do my work on them, though I have one question, why not get Hakuren to do it then?”

Pondering the question for a few seconds as he contemplated the offer that had been given to him, he had been in the branch long enough without sounding arrogant he knew the right to Serpent Division was his anyway. As he allowed his mind to ponder for a few minutes he nodded slowly. The purple energy wrapping around his body, his arms writing in it as he let the corruption flow threw his veins as he looked towards Yuuto.

“I’ll keep my Captain title, one condition though while I am in charge of Serpent, with your permission. Myself and you select who joins the branch, they cannot request to join it. That way it keeps it for the Elite”

His voice cold as he waited for Yuuto response his offer to help after all came with a price, but that was friendship. Take and give was the way of life he hoped that Yuuto understood that one. And finally he would answer Yuuto on the last question he pondered it for a while.

"As long as I come out stronger, im down for taking you as my Sensei."

 

[Enatsu]

Yuuto listened to the couples concerns taking time to address each question. "That's fine as I said I'm going to train you. Yuki we can get you started in a mid level job within Goat."

Yuuto quieted back down letting Takeshi express his concerns. The first one inquiring about Hakuren, the second being Serpent recruitment to which Yuuto would nod. "I do not trust Hakuren, in fact after I leave here I'm going to see her at the Tea House. I'm pretty sure she wants to kill me, or we will end up fighting. [Pause] Takeshi have you ever summoned The Reaper's Court Jutsu? The mythical court of Shinigami who gift us humans with corrupted chakra, the source of a Dark Sage's power. As I said I was once of your kind but I broke the contract of my corrupt Reaper. He now hunts the soul of every Masaru especially mine because I forcefully purged myself of his influence which is well... "impossible". Hakuren's Reaper knows Im an oath breaker marked for death. Uzu wants me, but I'm fair game. Which means depending on your Reaper if you have that kind of connection, you may become a threat to me. But if it ever happens it's a bridge we will cross together.</B><i></i> he would let those words sink in surely Takeshi felt something about this.

<B>"So, now that every thing is on the up and up, we can safely say we're in business?"

Yuuto would open the jar handing it to Takeshi to seal the tadpole organism. When that was done he would put the jar in the briefcase and head back to the club with the seed to forever change Hikudori.

Takeshi looked at Yuuto once more as he would talk, as he allowed the energy to flow threw him the purple chakra radiated form the Uchiha, it was mythical to see his red eyes fixated on the jar of tadpoles, he allowed himself to open the lid slightly as his hand dipped in the purple chakra flowing free from his finger. It was something he had never done before but the process was the same as giving it to a human being. Just on a much smaller scale as he allowed himself to focus the chakra into the target areas.

“The sealing is done Yuuto, you now have what you came for. Though I must offer you warning as a friend. You see I have not unlocked my reaper yet, I have not seen what it wants and do not know how it will take what you have done. Know that this door will open, and we must together face what happens when it does. After all you will be training me. “

Takeshi’s voice was cold as he spoke trying to not sound harsh towards his friend, but the truth was he did not know what would happen when they got to that part. As the purple energy faded from him for a split second, he allowed a sigh to come out, knowing full well that he had done his part of the deal.

Yuuto offering training was another thing that he looked forward to, he needed to build and grow stronger that much was clear. Soon his new position would be set if he fully committed to the offer and training.
