Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Akane was heading out to a shop to find something to get her mother. She did know what to get her though, she was thinking about getting her some flowers. Simple right?
Today Akane had her hair down, and she was wearing a pink kimono. She had her tiny blue pouch to her side that held all her money in it, she had it extra secure, seeing as a lot of people liked to mug smaller looking people. She did not want to chance it after all, again at least. But she was out in the wide open, and it was day light, mid afternoon, so the chances were a lot lower.

Akane walked along the shopping district, looking for a flower shop. After thirty minutes of walking she finally found one, it was a small one but it was worth it. Akane looked over the delicate flowers, there were so many to choose from. It was hard to choose exactly what to get.

An old lady walked up to Akane, assumed to be the flower shop's owner/employee.

"So you are looking for the right kind of flowers? Who are you looking for, could it be a boy, hm?"

The lady asked akane, she was almost the same height as her.

Akane looked over and shook her head towards the lady.

"No I am looking for my mom."

Akane explained to the lady, giving her a smile. Weren't boys the one that gave girls flowers in the first place? She wouldn't know.

The old lady nodded to Akane with a grin.

"Well then its important to know which flower to get! Each flower has a different meaning, if you give her a flower with a different meaning than you meant it could be bad!"

The lady explained to akane, as she stepped closer and closer! Akane backed up to avoid being ran into, she gave the woman a weary look.
Akane had never heard of that before, flowers have a deeper meaning? She believed they just sat there looking pretty, then they wilt in a day or two. That in itself kinda had a deeper meaning now that she thought about it.

"O-oh! Well can you tell me the meanings?"

"Nope."

The lady crossed her arms and stuck her nose in the air refusing to tell Akane.
Akane gave a sigh, and a kind of helpless "What the hell" look to the lady, why couldn't the lady just tell her?

"If you want to know, then you have to buy my book!"

The lady exclaimed loudly, starting her sales pitch.

"I don't want to buy-"

"You do want to buy it! You want to get your mother the perfect flower right?! Not only that the sales from my book help with buy my EXPENSIVE medication... You wouldn't want an old lady to go through that pain now would you?"

The old lady gave her guilt trip before Akane could say no, akane gave another helpless look, this lady was insane, but Akane couldn't fight a guilt trip like that. Had this lady done this before? She had the pitch perfect, and had no mercy, or shame in doing it. Akane picked up her wallet with a sigh.

"Fine... How much for your book?"

Akane asked as she looked at the lady, she had a sympathetic, slash, annoyed look towards the lady.

"One Thousand Yen"

Akane blinked in shock.

"What?!"

"Oooo, the pain! My back is really bad and the medication is SO expensive!"

The lady wined loudly, catching the attention of the other shoppers.

Akane was starting to look more annoyed, that was too much for just a book about flowers! But luckily Akane had that at least on hand, she pulled out the money.

"Okay! okay! Here is the money."

Akane stated with a sigh. The old lady instantly became cheerful as she pulled out the tiny book, probably only five to seven pages long, and handed it to Akane as she handed the money.

"Thank you young lady."

And with that the lady walked away, leaving Akane near broke, and annoyed. Akane sighed, and looked at the book, it looked kinda old. The cover was a blank green, paper back. Akane opened up the book, and looked at it, it was filled with pictures of flowers, and their meanings.

Akane looked over the book, and sighed. She got the info, but it was a bit expensive, the book was small, and didn't have as much as she thought. She noticed some things in it were not flowers, they were not considered flowers to her at least. Palm leaves? definately not flowers. Akane sighed to herself again, then purchased the flowers she decided was best, then walked home.

At least it wasn't a total loss, she got a book, she help an old lady -she thinks- and she was still able to get her mother something. It was a good day still at least.
