Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yami sat in the back corner of an empty classroom at the academy surrounded by spread out papers and books. It was just after dark long after everyone else had already left for the day and there he was left to his studies. He would stick to his work periodically but get sidetracked by the sounds of trickling water outside, or the various daydreams he had as he though of his training, and of how much he'd rather be playing shogi or sitting by his favorite waterfall looking off into the distance.

He was of coarse very dedicated to becoming the strongest shinobi possible, He worked hard and always trained until he could no longer move. He was intelligent and determined and always got adequate amounts of sleep. He simply hated paperwork, class, assignments, and all of the other stuff he saw as boring. Not only that be he was by nature a creature of the night, He tried to avoid doing anything during the day other than sleep but class just didnt respect such needs. He would commonly fall asleep during assignments and lectures while only taking interest in the more combat related information and his training of coarse. He felt no need to hear the history of Iwagakure or of other distant lands, nor did he care for learning politics. He just slept on through the day in spite of being woke up countless times, being disceplined, having "make up work" late at night, and constantly being scolded and regaurded as a slacker, his ever so uncaring attitude and introverted tendencies made it simple to ignore all of it. He knew his strength and ability, and knew for a fact he was very dedicated and hard working, he merely brushed off all of the negitive opinions with very few words and making a point to quickly end any conversation. This of coarse is how he got where he is now, alone in the dark with only a candle and this ever so boring pile of assignments.

Getting tired of the assignments Yami begins basic excercises such as push ups and sit ups in hopes that he can get some blood flowing and shake off his boredom. He believes it to be a good idea but before too long breaks out into a whole training session and full meditation only getting half of his studies completed. He begins to just forget about the time altogether and all other cares as he trains away using a set of training weights that were left in the room. He later realises he has been training for hours and its gotten to be extremely late, but carefree as ever he decides to sit down and work on his studies a bit longer, it is night time after all so he was wide awake and active as ever.

Though he had still much to complete on his studies he only maintained working on them for a short time. He had become bored yet again and remembered he had kept a shogi set in the bag he carried to class. He had to have a fair sized bag for class since he always wound up doing his studies during the night and would leave out of the class window when he had completed his assignments or just plain given up on finishing them. He loved the game shogi, it was a game of strategy, a game playing mind over matter and was also a game of geniuses. He was in a sense a genius, typically not when it came to matters of the village, rules, politics, and other such mundane things. He was a genius of technique and strategy, He was good with calculating information of fighting, and war. He would usually think ahead and plan for multiple possibilities and though he was not social he was observant and astoundingly proficient with psycology and pattern recognition. He was great with weapons as well and knew how to craft many of them though he preffered to stick to his clan's treasured weapons. Yami dug out his shogi set and played on and on against himself, though he did come to discover nearly every match was a draw, though what should you expect when you are playing against yourself?? He still found enjoyment though, testing out different strategies and trying to use his psycological knowledge to portray the strategies of others. To him this was training, but he didn't expect the masses to understand such means.
