The sound of the gulls could be heard as Kaori made her way to the port. She ran around like a child in a candy-store seeing all of the boats, seeing the ocean, and the splendid (and endless) ocean of blue. The expanse of blue was great! She ran up the pier, dancing around like a child. The smell of the fishy, briny ocean filled her nose and the moisture of the waves soothed her skin. The seagulls cawed before a voice caught her attention. She snapped out of her blissful trance and looked towards the captain of the ship that she was going to board. "You going to get on, tuts?" he said in a demure manner. He seemed haggard and completely fed up with his job of ferrying people from one place to the next. He had the face of a man whose dreams had been crushed by reality.
Kaori blinked at him and nodded her head. "Yeah! Sorry!" she said before calmly walking up on the boat. After she boarded, the ship weighed anchor and took off. The feel of the air upon her skin made her walk up to the bow of the ship and puffed out her chest. She took a deep whiff in through her nose as the air coursed through her hair. She took, yet another deep breath, and gazed at the endless ocean. "I'm coming for you, Yomi! Nothing's going to stop me from getting you out!" she thought to herself as the ship continued to chug along.
