Yukio waiting in the training field it had been some time since he'd been part of a sparring match to say the least and was unsure if his request would be heard and answered by his Tutor but if it was he couldn't help but feel a chill crawl up his spine from what was to come. He knew she would be strong much stronger than anyone he had met in the academy save his Tutor Takeshi he was the Sennin for a reason but Yuki had always had an air of authority around her that made Yukio show nothing but the up most respect.

He didn't dare sit down nor seem relaxed as he stood there his eyes glancing around from time to time to see if she would arrive, even though he didn't think he had a hope in hell of beating Yuki such thoughts were for dreamers and optimists what he did hope for however was the chance to test his skills to push himself harder than he had ever thought he'd needed to, he wanted to show he had grown from the days of old.

He closed his eyes for a moment taking a few deep breaths preparing himself both physically and mentally to keep himself on target and focused on the goal at hand, though for a moment his thoughts strayed he had never truly seen his old tutor fight seriously only what she had shown them in the few lessons they had so the realization that this would be a realistic spar, knowing nothing about the opponent, filled him with a sense of excitement.

Yuki was spending the day finishing up her paperwork, it seemed that with her husband gone everything fell upon her to be completed. Allowing a sigh to come to her lips as there was yet another knock on the door as her eyes came up she watched the handle turn and a man walk in holding a letter out. As she allowed her hand to come out her finger nails pointing in the direction of the man expecting the document to be handed over to her.

The man quickly turned the documents over before allowing herself to open it, cutting the letter open the tip of her finger she allowed her eyes to trail across the document, so finally she had been given a letter calling her to a challenge. She let a small sigh escape her lips as she stood up from the desk grabbing her black robes that she wore she headed out turning the light off before shutting and locking the door in a second.

Yuki landed on the grass as she pulled herself back up to full height, the white faceless mask aimed in the direction of Yukio. He had come along way but was he ready to challenge Yuki in the open. There was only one way to find out as her eyes glanced to him the black cloak of the ANBU flowed in the wind covering her red hair from sight and keeper her in the traditional look of someone in her position.

“Shall we get this over with then Yukio?”

It was everything Yukio had expected, straight to the point and no fooling around just what he wanted taking a combat stance his face was one of serious and calm focus wanting to show he wasn't just the wide eyed kid that she'd met back in this training field all those years ago.

He expected the battle that ensued to be intense but he wasn't prepared to just throw away his Chakra lightly if he could help up, the first thing to do would be prepare and think of what the Shinobi before him was capable of. Allowing his wind style chakra to coat his hands to form spirals of wind taking his Jyuuken stance the Hyuuga clan was so well known for as his eyes focused on his opponent.

He'd formed a clone at his side his mirror jutsu causing shards to come together to form the copy he didn't know how much use it would be but an extra line of defence could never hurt and this turned out to be the best choice he had ever made. As the water shark bomb appeared before him he quickly made the hand seals to allow him to body swap with his counter part.

It was quick to say the least the clone disintegrating in a wave of ravenous sharks as Yukio's expression went deadpan for a second the process of wondering what would have happened had he been the one standing there. Probably something he didn't want to know nor was planning to find out any time in the near future.

He had to think fast he didn't have much time before the next onslaught begun, and that may be the end of him, taking a quick punch in an attempt to break her arms she switched before him a clone now being on the receiving end of his fist as a nervous sweat begins to roll down the side of his face.

[Haku Yuki]

The female grinned even though she wasn’t going to admit it to Yukio she was proud of how far he had come, he was putting up a good fight but she knew that he would have to give a lot more that he was giving now, and besides if she needed she had a few tricks up her sleeve. Yuki watched as the Hyuuga took his stance she knew that she didn’t want to feel the full force of the clan powers she knew she had to think on her feet, summoning the water from the air she instantly froze it creating her perfect clone of herself from the ice.

Wanting to get the first hit in Yuki moved her fingers quickly drawing as much moisture from the air as she could and created a frenzy of sharks, using her own bloodline tricky she instantly froze the group before sending them towards the male. They swam through the air the ferocity and speed of a Mako straight towards Yukio, as the bore down on him Yuki’s vision was obscured, the dust cleared revealing the form of Yukio’s mirror clone shattering into the wind.

Not giving her time to respond Yukio sprinted towards the Haku, using a similar technique Yuki switched places with her clone, allowing to take the brunt of the Hyuuga. She jumped back from the male and pulled her clone back with her and clapped.

“Well done, you were listening when you were in class. Now let’s see how you deal with this.”

The shadows are his ally, these were the thoughts that passed through the young Hyuuga's mind as he made his best attempt to fade away in the aftermath of his teachers relentless onslaught though his move seemed too obvious as the red snow began to fall. Feeling the stinging sensation against his skin he began his attacks anew even if he could now match the power of Yuki anything that would work as a distraction felt like it could be just enough to give him an advantage.

He was right on this occasion with a distraction at hand though he could feel the warmth of his own blood against his pale white skin he backed away into the shadows preparing his next strike from the safety of cover.
