Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[Continued from The road to clarity begins. Part 2]

The first stop in the Spartan quarters was the Academy. If nothing else it would serve as a great place to give Tama a few lessons in how to use her new powers and since it was once a place Kurokawa spend a large amount of time she wanted to revisit it. They knew that the one they were searching for had fled towards the Spartan quarters so this was as good a place as any to start the search. The presence of web revealed that at least their target came here from time to time.

Kurokawa would go through the storage of the academy to find tools meant to help learn how to mould chakra. With it she would give Tama some basic instructions on how to draw out chakra so that she could start applying lightning to attacks, since that is the base of the Ink element that she now posses an ancient linked to. She would practise shooting blots of lightning and add lightning to fist attacks to get the basics down. As she seemed to have gotten the hang of it she would turn towards Kurokawa, and quickly change expression as she would shoot a storm bolt over Kurokawas shoulder.

Behind Kurokawa something would wush through the air and collide with the storm bolt sending it slightly off course and making it dodge-able by Kurokawa who didn't notice it until it was flying towards her. By the skin of her teeth she would narrowly avoid the large siege bolt attempting to skewer her, as if she was a piece in a Shish Kebab. From far enough away to be out of Kurokawas sonar, the six armed Shinobi had made a sort of ballista using trees and web, from which he had fired, what would essentially be a spear made of hardened mucus. Kurokawa knew this kind of attack well and knew that it would impale whomever didn't get out of the way fast enough.

"Thanks for the save."

"Don't mention it, Time to dish some damage back to him"

The six armed masked man would fire another arrow but now aware of it Kurokawa would draw her violet snake sword and destroy it in one swing before it would reach them. As a response he would draw two kunai and two swords leaving the two last hands free to use the gloves he already had equiped. He would the proceed to charge towards Tama and Kurokawa who would stand ready to receive him.

Taking full advantage of his many limbs the masked man would use the arms on his right side to make a flurry of attacks against Kurokawa while the ones of the left did the same to Tama. Tama elected to parry the incoming attacks and focus on staying alive while Kurokawa focus more on dodging and swinging her snake sword towards him to make him go on the defense. As soon as the attacks on her let up, Tama would move around to his back to flank him and put the pressure on from both sides, but that would only result in the man launching himself into the air to avoid the pincher movement. While he was air borne Tama would shoot a bolt of lightning after him which forced him to use his weapons to block which gave Kurokawa time to get in a position to land a greedy fist of sin followed up by a falcon punch, sending the masked man rocketing towards the ground. Still stunned from the attacks he didn't have time to break the fall and smacked into the dirt hard enough to make him bounce forward and roll a bit around.

As he spewed blood onto the inside of his mask and had it run down onto his chest he would finally utter some words.

"So it really is you. You have gotten stronger."

Kurokawa would feel the familiar voice trickering her visions but knew that having them here and now would be catastrophic. All she had time for before she went down was to hit him with a Genjutsu that would make her invisible to him. She would then fall to the ground to see yet more flash backs of training together, laughing together, going on missions and even training together in the woods. it was so real she could feel every mistake she made that resulted in injury, and she could smell the humid fresh forest air not present here at the training grounds nor in most of the wind country, at least as far as she knew. She saw them both make a cut into their hands and shake on it. What was it they promised again? Never to leave the other one behind. Never to abandon their posts, and never to bring disgrace to Stone. Stone had gone, and she had gone but he had remained here, clinging to the past and waiting for her.

Kurokawa came back to her senses with a rushing sensation then stood up just in time to get hit by a flying Tama. While she was out Tama had been left to her own devises and though she fought quite valiantly she was still not quite a match for the guy. She had been bruised, or more accurately mauled quite heavily and was in immediate need of medical attention. Kurokawa didn't have much time to actually apply any as the fight was still on and now a one on one battle. To get to help Tama, Kurokawa would use a technique called Newton's Apple to force the six armed man to the ground with shear gravity. She would then follow that up with a Concussion wave of sound to try and suppress him and then send him flying with a Shinra Tensei. She had chosen those techniques specifically to deal with all the defensive Mucus the man used to dampen the force of the blows dealt to him. She had also chosen to use these high ranking jutsu in an attempt to either end the fight quickly or force him to retreat.

The six armed man chose to retreat rather than suffer more blows like that. Everything he had send their way so far had been B-Rank or below so even though he was strong it seemed he didn't have much luck learning A-rank ninjutsu. as he retreated he would speak again.

"Be there tomorrow at sundown. You know the place."

He would then flee into the forest to lick his wounds and recuperate. Kurokawa would turn her attention to Tama as soon as the man went completely out of sensory range. Just for good measure she would apply every high ranked healing she could think of, to make sure she didn't miss anything. Tama would radiate a mixed aura of one part disappointment and one part relief.

"Seems me and Hontou are getting along. Several Ink based techniques got mixed in to cushion the blows while you were out. Almost makes coughing up blood again worth it. At least I stood more of a chance this time."

"We need to rest up. We have about twenty four hours before we have our final showdown. You learn fast so I am sure you will be ready by then."

As Kurokawa had secured Tama, and made sure her condition could not be improved on right now she would roll back onto her back in exhaustion and fall asleep on the spot. She knew where they would meet for the final showdown and she knew she would need all her strength to come out victorious. She would sleep through a ten hour shift and dream of the parts of her old life she hadn't already seen in visions. Including the time her and Hemorian got hitched. That time the cursed blood of her father which had tried to take over was consumed as an offering to what turned out to be a starving blood spirit who just wanted not to be trapped any more. A win win situation as it gave her the power to avenge her mothers murder and stand on her own two feet.

As the day rolled on Kurokawa and Tama would fill up on refreshments and relax as much as possible in the academy area while still devoting an hour or two to developing Tama as a ninja. An hour before Sundown they would set out towards the Barracks as Kurokawa figured this guy had special attachments to the last place she lived before she moved to sand.
