Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Loose strands of red fabric folded and twisted under the influence of the Sunan winds. His visage strong and stoic as he stood upon a nearby rooftop that overlooked the majority of the Red Light District. Tonight the culmination of years of build-up and planning would finally come to fruition. Kaen, and his two apprentices; Teke and Kanmuri, would infiltrate the Devil's Lair in search of Miroku Akkuma. A person of great infamy, wanted by many and despised equally. Only Mother Suna herself could truly ever know what this man was truly like. But to the law, to the government of Sunagakure, he was labeled a wanted man. Whether it would be by force or cooperation, they would not be leaving this place empty handed. Everyone hand their mission, Kaen included.

The wind continued to envelop his crimson cloak as he waited for them to arrive. Teke had come so far. From rags to riches you could say. A once unstable mental patient had blossomed into a ferocious force of nature that would bend to nobodies will but her own. Kanmuri, an enigma in himself. Stronger than any boy his age should be. His potential might very well be greater than his own. Kaen looked forward to watching these two be reborn as respected shinobi of Suna. Their power would assure the safety and security of future generations to come. Kaen was eager to accomplish tonight's goals. It would only be a matter of time before both apprentices had rendezvoused with their master and sensei, Ruin, here.

There had been a little time between Teke and Kaen's last meeting, one which ended with one of them being dead even if it was only for a moment. Since then Teke hadn't done much in the way of work, this was due to the fact that she was helping to design her new arm though outside of aesthetics she couldn't offer much, she wasn't the technical type and then prepping herself for the surgery and requisite physiotherapy, alterations, tune-ups, and glitch fixes before it was fully operational. Today would be a good test run for her new appendage, she'd requested it be as close to her fleshy arm as possible and it did look like that, but metallic and stood out quite heavily though the colour was the least of her worries, she liked the silver and gold look it had plus it gave a little more credence to her when she told people Sousuke was her father minus the unimportant details that go along with that.

The red light district was to be the meeting point for herself and another of Kaens trainees, one she'd met only briefly so they were pretty much strangers. As per usual she was only told the absolute need to know information about the mission they were to embark on, it made preparation hard but she would always attempt to be ready for any situation. She would don her black ANBU armor and pull her half-mask up as she left her home for who knows how long, traveling through the city at speed and coming to a stop as she spotted and landed on the same roof that the man was stood upon. Landing just behind him she would smile beneath her mask, a little bit of excitement creeping through her visage. "Bodybag, reporting in." She said with a soft monotone voice, got to keep the veil up even if she was buzzing to get started, there was no doubt in her mind that this was going to get violent and bloody and that was very much her specialty, sure she had to share this with two others but she was certain there'd be plenty to go around.

"Bodybag, reporting in."

Kaen reciprocated the smile as he turned to face Teke. Though they bore masks they could feel each other's intent. They were a fine pair, a great trio once Kanmuri would arrive. Three of Sunagakure's top elite hidden among their Anbu Corp. Each a powerhouse of devastation in their own unique ways. Together there might not be much that could stand in their way. Despite his agreements and plans, Akkuma needed to be brought in this day, or at least that was the original plans for this day. Little did they know a devastating clash was happing only a short distance away from their now silent village.

"I'm glad you could make it, now all that's left it to wait for --."

-CRASH-

A huge chunk of earth plummeted and crashed into the rooftop that Kaen and Teke were standing on. The duo's deft movements would allow them to easily avoid the danger, but why all of a sudden did that happen. As Kaen landed on an adjacent building top he would turn to look for his apprentice, Bodybag. "Are you alright? What in the hell was that abo--." Kaen's speech was cut abruptly short as he then felt the reason behind the falling sky. A dark, powerful and terrible chakra overtook his sense. It was almost overwhelming, making him pause with dizziness. What could have made such distortion and shockwave? Something significant was taking place somewhere and it was so incredible as to affect the village in such a way. Kanmuri was nowhere in sight, Kaen couldn't even tell if his chakra signature was anywhere close. Perhaps he was caught up in this mess somehow. "I think we have more pressing matters to attend to, Bodybag. I know we were set on this mission, but something is very wrong. We should head to the Kazekage Tower. Surely there is someone there that can explain this phenomenon." Kaen would not wait for a response from Teke, she was smart enough to know the situation at hand. Kaen lept from building to building as the earthy skies above continued to pummel the seedy city below. He was headed straight to his destination.
